magical girl shows unironically go hard with their finales. some of my favourites are:

-main character is asked by herself from a distant future to destroy the birthplace of the universe in order to stop the main villain who has been these since the beginning of time and influenced all the other previous villains, but she decides that's not what she wants and purifies the birthplace of the universe instead

-four main magical girls along with their fairies fuse into one giant magical girl and defeat the main villain with one punch.... in SPACE

-main character literally becomes god in order to save billions of magical girls across space and time from their despair

-main character has to get married to god to save humanity at the cost of her life but after her gf gives her a pep talk she decides that's not what she wants and kills god with a single punch

-main characters restore the earth by baking a cake

-local singing mermaids fight an archangel

-local gay witches save the earth from being obliterated by a missile

-the magical world the girls were trying to save is united with the normal world. also the magical world is no longer a monarchy but a republic and the two halves of the princess of said magical world now attend school.

According the official PreCure anniversary Twitter account, a novel based on the "Doki Doki! Pretty Cure" anime, taking place after the events of it, will be released sometime this year.

It will be part of the Character Bunko label published under Kodansha. Six other PreCure novels were published under this label, including novels focused on: "Futari wa Pretty Cure," "Heartcatch Pretty Cure!," "Fresh Pretty Cure!," "Smile Pretty Cure," "Suite Pretty Cure," and "Futari wa Pretty Cure Max Heart." The last of these was released back in 2017.

The DokiPre novel will be written by the anime's head writer, Ryota Yamaguchi, and the cover will be illustrated by the anime's character designer, Akira Takahashi.

Further information will be released on the anniversary Twitter account when the time comes.
