Wally Darling X Reader

Wally was a beautiful mystery to you. In all your life you never saw a person, or puppet for that matter, that harbored as pure of a soul as Wally's. Just looking at him made you emotional.

AKA: tooth rotting fluff

Wally's felt scratched your skin as he wedged himself inside you hoodie. The back of his pajama shirt rid up, exposing the pretty felt at the small of his back. The perfect place to rest your hand. “What are you doing silly?” His mess of blue hair popped out of the opening. You reached out to brush back the slightly curling locks and… there he was. With that dopey smile and steady gaze. Your hand slid down to the side of his head. “What are you thinking about in that brilliant mind of yours?” It truly was. So, colorful and bright. So, kind and creative. Sometimes you wished you could take his brain and experience everything like he did.

He laughed. How did something so one note become the ear worm you woke up with every morning? “You.” He leaned into your hand, eyes drooping just a tad more.

It was all you could do to blink back happy tears for a moment. You let a little puff of air out of your nose as you smiled. “Yeah? Well–” You brought your other hand to hold the other side of his face. “Can you guess what I'm thinking about?”

His pupils widened slowly, only a few seconds of silence before he answered. “Me?”

You subtly leaned in as you whispered. “You're so smart.” Wally was the one to bridge the gap. Just a soft press of his mouth to yours but it meant so much more. It showed how special you were to him and you could feel it. Pure concentrated love in a simple action. In the way his soft fingers rubbed circles into your skin. In the way his hips wiggled. Your own breath tickled the top of your lips as you pulled back. “I love you baby.”

Wally put his hand over yours. “I love you too most.”
