Hey guys, just checking in with a progress report for my Engie and Sniper fic. I know it's been a while and I haven't said much on the matter, but now I'd like to keep you more informed on the process.

First of all, I have a beta reader now! Thank you @3nigm4art for your input, it's been a great help so far!

I have three chapters done now, and I have almost all of the major story beats planned in order. It took me a while to get to that point, but now things should move along more quickly. This story will most likely be 8 to 10 chapters long. I also have sketches of a few of the illustrations, but most of the art production will wait until the story is complete.

I still don't have a title for it...I'm very indecisive. It's gotta be perfect, y'know?

But I do have this...I drew it for the cover. All other graphic elements aren't done yet due to the lack of a title, but I'm getting somewhere!

I think from now on I'll give you a progress report every time I complete a chapter, as well as art progress updates later on. I'm also going to hold off on reblogging random stuff so as to not bury my own posts about this. Watch this space!

Wakes up in cold sweat, TF2 Cat Cafe AU, the premise is that Scout and his Ma n Brothers run a cat cafe and the cats are rest of the mercs EXCEPT, The plot is actually about Scout And Spy trying to establish a bond as father n son despite Scout hating him because he is a deadbeat dad and being angry that his mother let him back into their lives so easily, while Spy is trying to stop being such a bitch and realize that Scout has actually a point. While this is happening they are trying to manage a cat cafe with the most deranged and strange cats that have ever existed

Sometimes I’ll make a joke about haha yea no comic update since 2017. then i reread the comics and go oh god no coming update since 2017. Because I remember that this comic had like a. Plot and a story that only makes about 50% sense thru the first six issues and still has a whole bunch of loose ends that i go “man i wonder what’s going on here” and then i go “oguughhghh man i wonder if they wouldve expanded on that in issue 7” and then i put my head down on the table in defeat.

#i want to know more about what the fuck is going on with Engie in the comics #i feel it in my bones that he wouldve gotten more spotlight in the final issue or at least finally get to join the rest of the team #tf2 #this isn’t an invitation to start mindlessly bashing on the ppl who made the comics btw. #ive seen a bit too much of that in my time of watchingg ppl lament over the missing final issue. #yearn! Why is Engie allowed to say 'bitches' but Scout has to say 'freaking' instead of 'fucking'? Like, that just don't make sense. Those words are about as bad as each other, right?

In fact, I might be wrong about this, but do any of the other mercs swear or is it only Engie? Because I can't think of any other voice lines I've heard with swears in them other than Engie's.
