As someone who’s lived in the Deep South their whole life, this drawing of Engie as a lil kid personally offends me.
I don’t know who that boy is, cause I know for a fact Engie was a chubby lil redneck child shooting at beercans and small animals with a BB gun he built himself.

engiespy but its inspired by 2fort shenanigans where i goof around with an enemy spy until an enemy blows me and my stuff up or a pyro comes by to cook their ass but they always come back anyway

i may or may not have made full designs for mercs in an rp i'm doing...
rb > likes or smth
misc + og designs under cut :thumbs up:
here's them before i started colouring
most of these are pretty gimmicky on purpose, also i changed a cuple of stuff here and there
for the sake of the rp i designed these kill feeds (more or less inspired by those chat devices someone made for dsmp that one time) (it's a little primitive, but it only has to be functional)
there is a v.2 which has the form of a watch (you can see it on sniper, spy and engie) (it also has a mode where instead of sending notifications it vibrates, thought it would be fun for sneaking) (maybe it even has a walke talkie function, yk, for team comms) (i didn't draw but it's all fictional anyway)
i kept some on my hcs in these ddesigns too, like engi's and Pyro's special goggles and tails and
i also removed Medic's lab coat because... well... he doesn't have it on...
i removed Sniper's facial hair too because i ended up hating it hfsgfe
there's also this uh,, thing i made
(yes, i made spy look and pose like that on prpose lmao)

made a guide for myself on how i wanna draw the mercs! started with just trying to distinctify all the bald white men, but i decided to finish it out. some are more inspired by headcanons, some are closer to canon!

Medic loses his damn mind with a majority of his teammates cause they don’t listen when he tells them to wear sunscreen.
“But we’re in a war zone, sunscreen doesn’t matter!”
It matters to him. He doesn’t care and has actively trapped Scout in a corner and smeared sunscreen on him while berating him since he keeps getting sun burns that are so bad he can’t move, but the boy continues to insist it’ll give him an awesome tan. It never does. He just gets a really bad burn and a few freckles.
Heavy and Spy wear sunscreen no problem, Spy actually doing so happily because he doesn’t need a mask tan-line. Heavy doesn’t care. It makes Medic happy and calm so he just uses it with a shrug of his shoulders.
Sniper is the biggest pain in the ass about it. This man looks twice his age and Medic fully believes it’s because he refuses to wear sunscreen, ever. He has chased him down during battle to try and get him to put it on, at least on his face. Sniper, being the pain he is, hides away in the most scrunched up tiny corner he can to avoid the doctor, and has evaded him many times by doing this. The one time Medic caught him though Sniper screeched like a damn cat getting dunked in water and scared Medic shitless for a moment.
Demo usually doesn’t give a crap. Medic will randomly pop up and just swipe a bit on his face and tell him to spread it over the rest of his face before moving on. He genuinely just can’t care and does as the doctor says.
Soldier is one of the “it’s war what’s the point” shouters. Medic has argued with him countless times about it and has put Soldier in a similar position to Scout. The whole honey issue actually caused some relief for Medic since it helps with the sun burns that Soldier receives after almost every battle, but he still gets angry when he will have an argument about sunscreen then find his teammate dumping honey all over himself.
Engie will forget about it, not because he doesn’t care but because it wasn’t super important when he was younger. Medic usually just needs to throw a bottle of sunscreen towards him and Engie will use it without much of a problem or complaint.
Medic has caught Pyro just putting a little streak of sunscreen down the front of his mask and didn’t even know how to respond other than a tired “thank you…”
