Getting angry at how the writers Jinn favored team rwby with a whole ass cinematic exposition dump while shrugging Oz's question off with two words. She doesn't even grant him the courtesy of a hint! Would it really have been that hard for her to add some sort of clarification like "you cannot defeat her but you can guide the simple soul that can" or "should you find yourself with silver eyes, you may have a chance"?

If that Ozcarnation came before the schools' conception, it would add so much more meaning to them and throw far more shade on Oz than lying and magic birds

Sometimes Diluc does wonder if the Delusion left a lasting impact on him, outside the never-fading scars on his arm. That if every time his temper flares or he deals a particularly cruel blow upon his opponent, it’s due to the Delusion’s lingering influence, that it may have altered him to be a crueler person as a result of his near half a decade-long dependence on it.

"...and that's how you swindle your way out paying too much in an auction shop."

"That actually does make a lot of sense.." Lily mutters as Bob nods in approval.

"You better not be teaching her swindling, Bob!" SMG4 calls from the kitchen, voice muffled by the closed doors.

"I would never." Bob chuckles.

Lily shakes her head with a roll of her eyes, but she's smiling. Lately, she and Bob had been bonding a bit more along with him aiding her in staying hidden from anyone who was helping her parents look for her.

As her honorary uncle walks away, Lily turns back around and walks back to the front doors. She had noticed that they weren't shut the full way, so she had turned back to close them.

As she reaches for the doorknob, she lets out a shriek as it quickly swings open. She stumbles back and falls down, looking up at whoever opened the door so suddenly.

Her heart drops and her pupils shrink.

"Oh, my baby girl!" the woman cries as she rushes forward, scooping up Lily into her arms. "You really are here! Oh, I'm so relieved!"

"I'm glad to see he's still trustworthy, even after we were sent away from you." the man remarks, walking in and standing beside the woman.

Lily's heart was pounding in her chest. She couldn't focus. Ringing was clouding her hearing.

"Lily?! Lily, what's going on?!" the voice of her dad calls, followed by rapid footsteps. Footsteps that screech to a halt once the scene is in front of them.

"What.. is going on here?" SMG4 mutters, eyebrows furrowing.

The woman sets down Lily and walks forward, making SMG4 back away into the lobby. Everyone else was coming out of their rooms, looking perplexed and confused.

"What the hell is happening here?" SMG3 demands as he walks up beside SMG4. "Who are you people?"

"I'm Alice Estrella." the woman states, placing a hand on her chest as everyone gasps. The man walks up beside her, holding Lily's hand as he does. "And this is my husband, Gabriel Estrella."

Lily's eyes are trained on the floor, her pupils prinpricks. No. No this isn't how she wanted them to find out.

Shut up. Shut up please-

"And this is our daughter, Liliana Estrella. Thank you so much for looking after her while we were gone." Alice smiles, though its not hard to tell she doesn't mean anything by the last sentence.

It falls quiet.

"Lily.. is your daughter?" SMG4 asks, voice soft.

"Yes." Alice nods. "I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't tell you, our little songbird can be so shy sometimes!"

Lily can feel all eyes on her suddenly. Like they want her to say something. But she can't. Her heart is pounding and her chest is aching, and everything is burning. Make it stop, make Gabriel let go of her hand, dad, please-!

"So.. so she's your daughter." SMG4 clears his throat. "Are.. are you.. taking her back?"

"Of course we are." Gabriel chuckles like it's a stupid question. "Why wouldn't we?"

"Well, we adopted her." SMG3 narrows his eyes. "So-"

"Ah, that's nothing our lawyer can't handle." Alice shakes her head.

"No, it was recognized by Pr-" SMG3 tries to speak, but he's cut off again.

"We really must be going. We need to go thank our business associate for helping us find our little Liliana." Gabriel waves his hand. "Come on, Liliana."

Lily follows quietly, fear of her father making her silent. Tears fall face her face, yet she doesn't realize.

She glances up and her heart stops.

Why were Don Pianta's goons at the door?

"Wait, hold on." SMG3 steps forward. "Who the hell is your business associate? And how would they know where Lily has been this whole time?"

"Oh, I'm surprised you have met him yet." Alice giggles. "He's Don Pianta."

Lily's breath catches in her throat, and she glances back at Bob. He's stiff, though he looks at her.

They're both in disbelief.

How could they have forgotten about him?

As Gabriel and Alice lead her out of the castle, Lily glances over her shoulder helplessly. More tears fall from her face, looking at her family for, what is probably, the last time.

Before the doors shut, cutting her off from them.

We think about the cockroach intro, we think about Gregorsa, we're at least 50% sure it's foreshadowing to whatever he's got going on.

so like. fnaf movie. after night five, all outside observers know is "this 30yo guy with severe anger issues + his 10yo mentally ill sister just walked out of his collapsing workplace with an unconscious, stabbed police officer, saying that someone inside the building tried to kill them but we can't get into the building to check. we went to their house and the aunt who was fighting for custody of the child is dead on the floor. the guy's career counselor is missing, as is his babysitter and her family and apparently they're all dead in the building we can't get into." and like. that all looks suspicious as FUCK however we know that in the few-weeks timeskip both mike and abby seem happy and fine so it's not like mike was arrested or anything. he seems to be more adjusted and is happily talking with her teacher so i doubt he's under stress of interrogation or anything

there's a lot of implications there that mike mighta pulled something but it's all circumstantial evidence at best. i'm sure in jane's autopsy and crime scene evidence they couldn't find any evidence of mike being the one to attack her, esp since it was probably just golden freddy bopping her in the head so they dont even have the weapon, and if she was strangled they'd be able to tell it wasn't by bare hands and they couldnt get prints or anyth. especially if golden freddy is a FULL ghost and thus left no trail.

mike would be smart enough to only tell the cops what they need to know without mentioning ghosts to sound crazy. abby might be more honest with the cops just bc of #autism but they'd be more likely to consider her talking about ghosts and imaginary friends as a child's way of coping, and they cant get anything out of her that would incriminate mike. ADD TO THAT that mike has wounds that are clearly defensive and is SUPER banged up and his wounds would likely match his story way better than evidence of him attacking anyone, AND that there's likely footage and witnesses of him being in the pharmacy and then driving to work (and thus not in the area to attack jane), AND if/when nessie wakes up she'll probably vouch for mike as well, and the cops dont have anything on him

though i DO wonder if they would have records of vanessa patching him up in the police outpost. if they do, that would also back up mike's story as it's 1) far away from the aunt jane crime scene, 2) confirms that he and vanessa were working together, so either she's complicit in Crime™ or his story is accurate and she was helping him save his sister. him going to defend her instead of calling backup is also consistent with his personality of getting triggered and jumping into action around child abduction, esp w/ his sibling in danger

considering what abby would probably say, AND the history of freddy's, it's likely that they would come to the conclusion of is "someone [likely the og kidnapper from the 80s] found out that the guy working at freddy's had a sister, kidnapped abby from her house while her aunt was babysitting and tried to recreate the crimes, his story of him and vanessa defending her and escaping vaguely checks out." whether or not mike would incriminate vanessa by mentioning her dad was the killer is up in the air, and there's obviously some huge holes that are left from nobody believing that there are ghosts in the building but that would probably be the eventual conclusion

but throwing that all away, it would be really, REALLY funny if the rest of the town, being really fuckin nosy and getting into the juiciest gossip they've had in decades, took one look at michael "big teddy bear falling asleep on himself" schmidt and said "there's no way. there's no way this guy murdered his aunt, stabbed an officer and then destroyed his own workplace, especially when he really needed that job and was on sleeping medication," and then turned around to look at abby "neurodivergent in the early 2000s (ableist af time period)" "vocally hates her aunt" "doesn't talk to anyone and claims that she can see ghosts" "vaguely possessive of her brother" "claims that she found the guy who hurt her friends and got him jumped by a cupcake(?)" schmidt and said "oh my god. it was her."

and nobody's gonna directly say anything but they've got cautious eyes on the situation and someone quietly slips mike a copy of the bad seed to see if he has a realization but instead he's just like "hey this book kinda reminds of that golden freddy kid lmao. wonder how he's doin" and then we smashcut to golden freddy kid poking springtrap with a stick

Update on May 1st protests and how the french goverment handled them?

^ The May 1st protests were pretty violent esp. in Paris; two cops were set on fire (they're ok, one has 2nd degree burns), lots of destruction in city streets, and hundreds of injured protesters. The French gov is sticking to its M.O. of denying any police violence against protesters, emphasising protesters' violence and portraying it as mindless anti-democratic savagery rather than the result of their own anti-democratic policies.

There were more people protesting in the streets on Monday than at any other May Day protest in the past 20 years (by a large margin—7 to 10x more people than usual.) And the numbers are still impressive in terms of this current social movement—there were about 1.2 million people at the first protest against the pension reform in January, 900K at one of the February protests, around 1.1M on March 7 and I think 1.2M on March 23rd... We're in May and there were 800K people in the streets on Monday (using the police's probably low estimate). The first marches earlier this year were peaceful; people started destroying shit in March after the 49.3 (=the gov not letting elected representatives vote on the reform); in the following weeks we saw a brutal escalation of police violence + suppression of just about any means of non-violent protest, which results in more violence.

The vast majority of protesters are still peaceful, but in terms of providing context for the increased violence, well—people protested peacefully, peaceful protests got banned. People banged pots and pans, pots and pans got banned and confiscated. People started a petition on the National Assembly website which got a record number of signatures, the petition was closed before its deadline and ignored. MPs asked (twice!) for a national referendum on the reform to be held, their requests were denied. Electricity unionists cut power in buildings Macron was visiting, now he travels around with a portable generator. Unions tried to distribute whistles and red cards (penalty cards) to football supporters before the French Cup finale last week, so the ones who wanted could use them if Macron showed up (he ended up hiding and greeting the footballers indoors rather than publicly on the stadium lawn); the police prefecture tried banning union members from gathering outside the stadium to distribute these items (although the ban was struck down by the judiciary as it was illegal, like most bans these days...)

Confiscating saucepans was already so absurd it felt like a gratuitous fuck you, but now they're trying to prevent the distribution of pieces of red paper. Cancelling petitions that would have had no real impact anyway. Prosecuting people for insulting Macron. Arbitrarily arresting hundreds of nonviolent protesters to intimidate them out of protesting (guess who's left then?). The French gov is systematically repressing democratic or nonviolent means of making your opinion heard, and when people get more violent they're like "This is unacceptable, don't these terrorists know there are other means of expressing dissent??" Where? This week a 77-year-old man was summoned to the police station and will be forced to take a "citizenship course" for having a banner outside his house that read "Macron fuck you" (Macron on t'emmerde). Note that he would have been arrested (like the woman who was arrested at her home and spent a night in police custody for calling Macron "garbage" on Facebook) but they decided not to only because of his age.

So that's where we're at; on Monday two cops caught on fire (well, their fireproof suit did) after protesters threw a Molotov cocktail at them. (The street medic who tried to help them with their burns ended up getting shot by a cop's riot gun a few seconds later—with French police no good deed goes unpunished!) The media talked a lot more about this incident than about the fact that the cop who got most severely injured on that day (broken vertebrae) was injured by an explosive grenade that a colleague of his meant to throw at protesters (you can see it at the end of the video below). If police with all their protective gear get so badly injured by their own weapons, no wonder the worst injuries have been on the protesters' side. (nearly 600 injured protesters on May 1st, 120 severely, according to street medics.) I'm not including images of these incidents in the video but on May 1st a protester had his hand mutilated by a police grenade + a 17 year old girl was hit in the eye by a grenade fragment, may end up losing it (during the Yellow Vests protests, Macron's first attempt at repressing a social movement, 38 protesters lost an eye or a hand).

What you see in the video: cops charging the front of a march to tear a banner off people's hands then retreating and drowning the street in tear gas when protesters throw paint bombs at them (protesters have umbrellas because of police drones); at 0:30, a journalist saying "They're not even arresting him, just kicking him when he's down—they kicked him right in the face!" then police spraying with tear gas protesters who try to fend them off; at 0:46 when a protester being arrested asks a journalist if he's filming and starts reading out loud a cop's ID number, another cop shoves the journalist and throws him to the ground; at 0:54, an Irish journalist runs away from the police tear gas grenades that you hear going off, at 01:08, the incident mentioned above when a cop drops a grenade he tried to throw, which explodes in his group, breaking another cop's vertebrae. There's a lot more I'm not including, like how CNN said "there's so much tear gas in Paris, our foreign correspondent can barely breathe", how another journalist was hit by a sting-ball grenade (he was also bludgeoned on the head so hard it broke his helmet—even though cops know the people wearing helmets are journalists...), and yet another journalist who was calling out a cop for aiming at people's heads with his riot gun (which is illegal) ended up having the guy aim the riot gun at his head from 2 metres away (getting shot with this "less lethal weapon" from that distance would be lethal.)

All of these videos are from May 1st (most of them from this account monitoring police violence.)

So yeah, nonviolent protests followed by violent police repression and bans of nonviolent means of protesting result in more violent protests. The French government responds by a) pikachu surpris, b) condemning violent protesters and praising violent police to the skies, c) continuing to ban everything they can think of. Confiscating saucepans didn't work but confiscating pieces of red paper will do the trick! Let's prosecute people for bashing or burning an effigy of Macron, because banning symbolic violence always works to prevent actual violence! And this week after the May 1st protests we learnt that the gov is thinking of making street barricades illegal, because that'll definitely solve everything. It's going to be interesting for history teachers to teach students about the 1789 revolution that allowed us to take down an absolutist regime and become a republic, under a government that banned barricades because they see them as terrorist anti-republican structures.

omg not rude at all, actually this is my favorite thing to talk about (it was a major focus of this blog prior to Al-Aqsa Flood) it's a huge topic so I'll link a ton of resources, but to answer your main question: yes, many Palestinian Christians in Gaza and elsewhere can trace their family history with Christianity back to the 1st century. the Christian community in Gaza is said to have been founded by the apostle Philip. the first bishop of Gaza was the apostle Philemon, the recipient of a Pauline epistle. a core zionist myth is the idea that contemporary Palestinians only arrived in Palestine in the 7th century or even the 20th century (see the links for debunking). but there's plenty of documentation of continuous Christian (and Jewish) presence in Palestine before, during, and after the emergence of Islam. Palestinians (and Levantine ppl more generally, but esp Palestinians because of the totality of their colonial dispossession—stories are often literally the only heirlooms refugee families have) typically have very strong family oral histories going back many centuries, so if a Palestinian tells you their family has been Christian since the time of Christ, take their word for it. community continuity is also about more than family trees—even if someone's family came to Christianity later, they're still part of the continuous living heritage of their community. the continuity of Palestinian Christianity is also evidenced by Palestinian holy sites. because Christianity was illegal in the Roman Empire until Constantine took power, dedicated churches weren't built until the 4th century, but many of these churches were built around existing sites of covert worship—for example the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem was built around a grotto that was already venerated as the site of Jesus' birth, the Church of St. John the Baptist in 'Ayn Karim (a forcibly depopulated suburb of Jerusalem) was built over a 1st century rock-cut shrine marking the site of John the Baptist's birth, and the Church of the Multiplication in Al-Tabigha (a destroyed and forcibly depopulated village on the shore of Lake Tiberias) was built over a limestone slab believed to be the table were Jesus fed the multitude. throughout the Levant there are also many ancient shrines (maqamat) that are shared sites of prayer for both Christians and Muslims; in Palestine many of these sites have been seized by the occupation and Palestinians are prevented from visiting them.

Palestinian Christian communities who are able to travel to the villages they were expelled from in the Nakba will sometimes return there to celebrate weddings and holidays in their ancestral churches, e.g. in Iqrit and Ma'alul (x, x). of course because the occupation heavily restricts Palestinian movement this isn't possible for most refugees.

Compared to other darlings gremlin Tomura’s darling has it really rough. I think one of the first signs that Tomura matures is him deleting all that footage AFO filmed. Sure he still keeps them captive and non cons them, but once he realizes that he truly loves them he wants to make sure that they aren’t humiliated and degraded like they were before

Meanwhile Dabi goes scorched earth and fucking sends HIS videos to Endeavor lmao. Like Dabi is so petty that he'll ask Darling on-camera whose fault it is that they're in this position with him and make them say it's Endeavor's fault

But post-gremlin Tomura regrets ever having those recordings and esp regrets him and AfO using it to taunt All Might. Like AfO sends it via an encrypted account to show that All Might can't save everyone: not Tomura, and not Tomura's captive either. Though AfO doesn't ever send anything too graphic: just stills and short clips of Darling at their mercy. There's one where he's got them in Tomura's lap while AfO politely asks them if they'd like a Hero to save them. And obviously they say yes and are crying, begging for someone to help, and AfO condescendingly reassures them that he's sending this video straight to All Might himself! Surely he'll come and rescue you soon...

But after AfO's imprisonment, Tomura becomes determined to keep Darling safe and eventually starts to realize how much he's harmed them and how that isn't what he wants from them. They're not just an outlet for stress, they're someone that he wants to BE with. It still is unfair and cruel to them, but his dream is to take what he wants and destroy this world; so, he'll take Darling because he wants them/needs them, and treasure them.

He's more attentive to their needs and lets them have alone time more often if they ask, and he'll actually respect when they say they don't want him to touch them. It won't stop him from jerking off NEXT to them, though. He deletes all the footage of them and uses the League's money to spoil them with anything they want. Any time someone tries to butter him up or flirt with him, he rejects them at best and threatens them at worst. Flattery does nothing for him, and EVERYONE in this organization knows that he's got his Darling. You're insulting them--and him--by trying to pull off a shitty seduction move like that. And nobody gets to insult them or humiliate them any more.

Which makes AfO taking over his body so much more depressing, because Darling can tell immediately that he's not who he used to be. AfO still uses them like he uses everyone else, and as a result the League gets very protective of Darling while Tomura is dormant; Spinner especially doesn't like leaving Darling alone with AfO in Tomura's body. And it gives Tomura even more motivation to fight against AfO from within and destroy everything in society on HIS terms. But now he actually has a family and his Darling to live for.

He finds that so strange, having people like Spinner and Toga and Darling that make him want to live. He used to just accept that once he destroyed everything, he probably would be fine dying once he got what he wanted. But now he doesn't want to die because he's got them to worry about. There was one night after he defeated Redestro where he had climbed into bed with Darling and quietly told them: "I don't know if I can love anyone, at least not in a good way. But for what it's worth...I do love you. You don't have to feel the same way. In fact, you shouldn't, not after everything I've done to you. I'm sorry I can't love you in a way that's good and what you deserve. I want to try, though."

Akira Kurusu, Yu Narukami, and Minato Arisato Mets Reader Who Summons Their Persona Differently

Note: This is a little bit of swearing and very long.

Akira Kurusu

After hearing about another person running around in the Metaverse, the group was on edge.

One time they were at the Mementos and Oracle detects a presence, a human presence.

Naturally, they thought the person were the Black Mask.

When they met you, they accused you of being the Black Mask

Obviously you were confused, “Black Mask? Causing mental shutdowns? Are you good?”

Then you got into the fight with them

If you used an Evoker, they would freak out. They literally thought you were going to…make yourself sleep forever. The entire team’s heart basically skipped a beat. Akira just stared at you with wide eyes and mouth open.

If you used a Tarot card, the team will be confused. Akira will notice what kind of card will be floating in your hand. The Fool, Emperor, Lovers, etc. You destroyed your Tarot card with your weapon

He got to hand it out to you, you are pretty good. You even got some critical hits, and able to get the correct weakness of Joker's Personas.

You were defeated

However, you convinced them that you were not the Black Mask. Oracle also agrees with you as she analyzes your Persona and their levels and concludes that you would be at a higher level.

The group apologizes, but you forgave them.

You join their group to take down the Black Mask.

You seem to get along with Akira the most. Most likely due to your other friend is almost like them.

You chat to him a how you summon your Persona. Accepting death or accepting yourself.

You help out the group if they are struggling on fighting shadows.

Akira, in turn, helps you out with all the Phantom Thieve stuff.

Being sneaky wasn't the main factor in your last adventure, so you often get caught by a shadow.

Yu Narukami

The Investigate Team was training inside the Midnight Channel when Kujikawa sense a presence.

Believing that this could be the person who keeps throwing people into the Midnight Channel, they immediately went to the area where the presence is at.

The team met you, who was wandering around because you can't see anything.

They accuse you of being the person who caused the killings. You objected to the accusation, saying that you would never attempt to kill someone.

Though they didn't seem to be convinced as they decide to start a fight with you.

If you summon your Persona with a Mask, which is most likely the reason why they thought you were a killer, they flinch at the sight of blood going down your face and the blood dripping down the floor. You seem unfazed by this, which make them a little concerned.

If you summon using an Evoker, expect the same reaction as the Phantom Thieves. When they saw you took out the Evoker. They thought it was a real gun and start to freak out. Pretty sure Yosuke will pee himself. The group will run to what ever object nearby in hopes that the bullet won't go through the object. Instead, you put the Evoker towards your head. Rise let out a shout, which in turn made the team look at you as you just pulled the trigger. Instead of seeing a corpse, they instead saw your Persona. Narukami was wide-eyed the entire event

During the battle, Rise senses another presence. However, the presence was weak and surrounded by shadows.

They stopped the fight after Rise told them that they believed that another victim was just thrown into the Midnight Channel.

Since you were with them while the person was thrown into here, they are now convinced you are not the killer.

You joined the Investigate Team!

Narukami asks you about your previous adventures when he hangs out with you. You always recount the good memories of your old teammates, and how Narukami reminds them of their old leaders.

If you are able to get your old teammates to help you with the investigation, you give Narukmai a nudge, "Don't mess with Kirijo-san/Niijima-san, they WILL whoop your ass."

Minato Arisato

While they were approaching the boss, Yamagishi sense a different presence.

The group got concern considering that ordinary people get stranded in the Dark Hour.

They quickly went to the location, and then they met you.

However, Yamagishi notices that you were quite strong. S.E.E.S immediately thought you were a member of Strega. You objected the claim.

"What the hell is Strega?"

You got into the fight, sadly.

If you summon through a Mask, he will be shock about the amount of blood on your face. It will take a little time for him to get used to it.

If you summon through a Tarot Card, they would be confused as how you summoned the card above your hand. Minato knows the card is, since they appear in his head time from time. Because of the Social Links, he can tell what card you had in your hand.

Kirijo stopped the battle when she notices that you didn't summon your Persona with an Evoker. She tells the group that summoning through a Mask/Card will be near impossible, because it will be difficult to make them function to summon a Persona just from Crushing/Ripping them.

The revelation was short-lived when the boss interrupted the conversation.

You fight alongside the S.E.E.S after that.

You talked about your old members to Arisato. Sometimes talked about your struggles in your adventures, either personal or the fighting.

All of Them

The year got closer to end. You were alone with Akira/Yu/Minato having small talk. You tap their shoulder, and you got close to their ear, "Someone might die in this journey...and a god might be behind all this. Be careful." They looked at you, to see a serious look in your eyes. A look of someone who seen a tragedy... Before they ask about what you are talking about, someone calls you over. You give them a pat on the back before walking over to the person that called you over. They are left to ponder on what you said.

i lichrally thought abt this while watching the movie!!!

ok get this:

someone pls write something with any of the atsv characters with an s/o that is a character foil with the spot!!! they have the same powers (but think of their powers more like jobu tupaki), but the s/o is a good person and understands the weight of their powers. but they, in some part, sympathize with the spot bc his life can never return to normal, and they understand the the almost crushing weight of being everywhere, all at once. (wink) however, what the spot is doing is going to wreak havoc on the universe, so the s/o is on a mission to stop the spot.

if in the case of this being miles' s/o, maybe they're still getting used to having recently aquired said powers (they got them at the same time as the spot), and miles supports them. they kinda work side by side, and the s/o follows miles to Earth-928, and when things go down, the s/o has a moment of conflict bc they know that one slip too many could mean multiversal collapse, and they've also had to make their own sacrifices bc of their powers. but in the end, they're by his side bc they love miles too much. it does cause a bit of tension in their relationship after tho. even moreso bc a person with the same powers as his s/o is trying to murder his dad, and his trust wavers (esp after the s/o's hesitation to help him).

they both get unknowingly sent to Earth-42 (where s/o has never seen before bc she's dead here!! O_O). so they're both unaware of where they are. miles gets captured by aaron, and the s/o is taken as well, but less aggressively bc surprise!!! Earth-42 s/o and 42!miles were in love and together, but miles couldn't save her from the dangers of corrupt 42!new york. s/o doesn't know what to do bc they and 1610!miles are in a weird place but they're still entirely in love with him, HOWEVER, they're starting to feel some of the emotions that the Earth-42 version of her felt for 42!miles, and is also starting to get some of the memories (AS JOBU TUPAKI DOES!!! :333).

love triangle shenanigans ensue but the clock is ticking bc the spot is on a mission to kill miles' dad and collapse the multiverse/destroy all of Earth-1610, and 1610!mile's only ticket out of Earth-42 is his s/o bc no one knows what dimension the two of them are in and 1610!miles doesn't have one of those dimension travel gadgets!! jobu tupaki!s/o isn't a fighter so they've gotta figure out a way to save 1610!miles from prowler!miles AND 42!aaron without fighting them, but she's also gotta fight against her own inner turmoil.

Meliodas casually dropping “you are my purpose in life” to Elizabeth like a month after they met is INSANE. Bc from his side, makes sense. Fell in love when they were young from opposite sides of a war, risked everything to be together, have been finding and losing each other for 3000 years. But from her side, he is a cool guy she has a crush on (who is at least 15ish years older than her) who she might have known as a child. He also just described her as his entire life’s purpose. Like bro THATS CRAZYYY

Seeing Meliodas destroy the horn of cernunos is such a badass moment to me. The way he responds to her taunting with direct action and violence rather than his usual merciful beating around the bush. My favorite Mel moments are when he is using his silly goofy little guy façade and suddenly has to drop it. This is when we see a glimpse of who he was when leading the 10 commandments: arrogant, powerful, and constantly full of rage

it just so happens that arrogant, powerful, and constantly full of rage are my most prized qualities in any character
