Perhaps wearing a backless dress wasn't the best idea after all. Of course, it was a bold statement, and certainly caused a new fashion craze within her court, but she failed to take into account the physical affect it would have on her husband.

She stood by him as she always did when they threw elaborate parties. Tonight was the celebration of the autumn equinox, and Lark made sure to dress to the nines. Her gown was form fitting until it flared at the bottom to cause a train behind her. It was a deep sapphire with glimmering mesh fabrics as intricate decorations and gold-brass leaves littered the ends of it.

Suddenly, she felt his finger tips pleasantly trail down her spine. Her skin prickled at his touch, and a soft, besotted breath escaped her. Her shoulders stiffened as her cheeks turned a light shade of pink that crept over the ends of her pointed ears and shoulders.

Suddenly, she gripped his wandering hand in hers and held it firmly in a way she knew he liked.

❝ Stop. ❞ She muttered in a soft yet commanding voice. ❝ Or...I will not be responsible for what I do to you. ❞ Her lips twitched upward ever so slightly to reveal a rueful smile--a challenge. She was daring him to disobey.

the skywing is named lark (he/him) they’re partners

whalefall is a nightwing/seawing hybrid who technically hatched under one full moon. however, she was hatched underwater, so the moonlight got filtered through and her powers are very weak. she’s technically a mind reader, but what she can read from dragons is about the same as what moon reads from scavengers in the books.
