Ooh I never ask for anything in terms of prompts but I will for Semantic Error. Basically, that hug in episode 7 did me in. I live for Sangwoo leaning wholly into it with that content expression. Idk how many times I rewatched that part. Can you please do something like a touch starved Sangwoo who has just realized how much he loves cuddling/hugging and how safe he feels with Jaeyoung? But of course, him being Sangwoo, he tries to hide how much he actually wants it? But fluff too. I'm fully open to whatever you do with it beyond that, and if it works to be added with another prompt that's totally fine too.
For a human’s survival | AO3
Humans needed at least four hugs a day for survival.
Sang Woo didn’t remember where he had read that fact or why he had cataloged that information away in his brain. He wasn’t even sure if it was true. His fingers itched to type the question in his browser to get answers, but he knew that while Jae Young appeared to work on his drawing pad, he was very quick to put his attention on Sang Woo. Sang Woo had no idea how it was possible, but Jae Young was almost psychic-like in his ability to sense when something Sang Woo did would be interesting to him.
A human needed four hugs a day for survival.
Sang Woo leaned back on the couch and pressed his lips together to hide a smile when almost immediately Jae Young slid down a bit to lean himself more solid against him.
“We really should think about creating something like a mascot thingy for our game,” Jae Young mumbled, and Sang Woo looked over to him to see that he had already scribbled some rough drawings of what he had in mind.
Sang Woo made a sound that was neither confirmation nor rejection.
They were the perfect height for hugs. That wasn’t a fact Sang Woo had only realized recently. Every time they stood close Sang Woo’s eyes travelled towards Jae Young’s shoulders. How he would and did perfectly fit there.
“Maybe like a baby Brussels Sprout,” Jae Young said, and Sang Woo realized he had missed part of their conversation.
“Why would we need a mascot?”
Jae Young sighed and threw him a quick look.
“We already have enough character designs for our game,” Sang Woo added, and Jae Young moved a bit away from him which he didn’t like, but their legs were thrown over each other which meant Jae Young wouldn’t be able to move away much, not with a bit of complicated limb-untangling.
“It wouldn’t appear that often, just a fun little side character. People would find it cute.”
Sang Woo didn’t get it.
“I don’t like Brussels Sprouts”, he said, and Jae Young threw his pencil at him.
+
Jae Young didn’t hug halfway.
Sang Woo had seen and experienced through his peers that awful half-hug thing. Crushing your shoulders against each other, which was unnecessary and hurtful when you could just shake hands or bow. Patting each other against the back awkwardly while your upper bodies didn’t touch…
Jae Young hugged with his whole body. He embraced Sang Woo with both arms, engulfing him in warmth and comfort. Sang Woo was able to put his face against his shoulder, to sometimes bury his nose in the crook of Jae Young’s neck to keep it warm on a cold day. Song Woo liked it the most when Jae Young put one of his hands around his neck, big and warm. His thumb would brush the tiny hairs on Song Woo’s neck and Song Woo felt like he was floating.
Since they got together the number of hugs had decreased, though. They didn’t spend that much time apart, at least not so long that meeting each other again would require a long hug. The kisses had increased. Which Song Woo liked. He liked the goodbye kisses, liked the welcome kisses even more.
Someone might say that the way they embraced each other while they kissed counted as a hug.
Sang Woo disagreed. They were fundamentally different.
But… for some odd reason, Sang Woo felt hesitant to bring it up. His desire for simple hugs. He knew himself as someone who worked for or asked for things he wanted. Jae Young had thrown an axe into his resolutions a couple of times but like in any other parts of his life Sang Woo liked to clarify things in their relationship.
Which didn’t mean Jae Young wasn’t prone to break the rules Sang Woo made. Gleefully and too successfully.
Still. Sang Woo couldn’t find a reason or made up a scenario in his mind where Jae Young would disagree to a demand for more hugs. He wouldn’t laugh at Sang Woo…
He would. He would smile very smugly while he would hug Sang Woo as tight as possible. He would also most likely act like a human backpack for the weeks to come and Sang Woo had to admit that he didn’t hate the idea.
Was he shy? Or embarrassed? Sang Woo couldn’t name the emotions running through him. Just that something stopped him from talking to Jae Young.
+
And with knowledge came awareness, came a kind of hyper-focus to sense the opportunities to get a hug. A perfect hug. A Jae Young hug. Which meant that almost 99% were perfect. Sang Woo now knew the distinctive sound Jae Young’s leather jacket made, the creak of the material when Jae Young squeezed him quickly, but strongly before he released him.
Sometimes Jae Young would step to the side, their bodies still touching, would leave one arm around Sang Woo’s shoulders and hold him tight to his side, steering him towards the direction he wanted them to go. Sang Woo thought about burying himself closer into the embrace, not a care where Jae Young was walking them.
Sometimes Jae Young would take a step back, would grab him by the shoulders, and just beam at him. Sang Woo might find poems confusing, but in very rare moments he thought he could understand why someone might want to write the onslaught of words down that popped up in his head when Jae Young smiled at him like that. To have them travel from his brain, over his face down his arms, into his fingers, bleeding from the pen into the paper, so there was written proof of all of this.
He didn’t do it, but he understood why someone would.
+
Sunlight poured through the window and colored some of Jae Young’s hair red. Sang Woo wiggled his toes and a lazy swirl of arousal traveled through his body, pooled in his belly, like a little happy reminder of what they had done a couple of minutes ago. He felt like he could fall asleep like this even though he hadn’t been tired prior to Jae Young pouncing on him.
Jae Young’s finger moved slowly over his back, painting little figures. Sang Woo sometimes thought that he didn’t even realize he moved his fingers so much. His brain never shut down, like he had to express everything that popped up in his head immediately.
Sang Woo’s head laid on Jae Young’s chest and he tried not to wiggle away and dress himself because it was midday. He liked sex. He liked sex with Jae Young. There hadn’t been a lot of persuasion, if any, to fall on the sofa with Jae Young. Still. It was midday. He had ideas and expectations in his head – about sex – and one of them was that you did it when it was dark outside. Also, that you would do it on a bed. And that you didn’t cuddle under a blanket that wasn’t able to cover two grown men on the couch, stark naked, afterwards.
It made something under his skin itch that they didn’t follow these rules. But Jae Young was good at scratching that itch, like when they had done it at night, in a bed, but Sang Woo hadn’t been able to focus because Jae Young hadn’t pulled off his shirt and sex was something you did naked. And Jae Young had laughed at him when he had pointed it out, full of delight, with crinkles around his eyes, his lips red from kisses. Then he had done some weird moves that he had called stripping and the itch had been gone. Three days later Jae Young surprised him in their bathroom and seduced him while they had been fully clothed.
Revelations. Jae Young showed him a lot of new truths about himself.
“You cold?”
Sang Woo stopped in his attempt to press himself even closer against Jae Young.
“No,” he said.
Jae Young sighed and brought his other arm down to huddle Sang Woo closer. Maybe he didn’t believe him.
“I like this,” Jae Young sighed. He raised one leg, put it over Sang Woo’s hips and effectively trapped him with his body. He squeezed Sang Woo quickly and before Sang Woo could complain about the strength of the hug, Jae Young said: “You’re so clingy lately, it’s great.”
Sang Woo stiffened. And then cursed himself for reacting. Jae Young got still and then Sang Woo got still and his thoughts raced a mile per hour.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Wrong thing to say, his mind told him. Alarm after alarm after alarm went off in his head. He had sounded like he was accusing Jae Young of accusing him about something.
Jae Young wiggled away from him, which meant, with their current closeness, that their faces were now a few centimeters apart. Their noses almost touched.
“Why are you acting weird?” And Jae Young had stopped declaring Sang Woo’s character traits as weird, or to say, those that were a part of Sang Woo that not even the most adventurous, most scandalous sex couldn’t erase. Jae Young accepted him and the things others would call ‘quirks’: That’s why when he called something Sang Woo did weird it held more meaning, more confusion, concern.
Sang Woo wanted to break out of the embrace even though this kind of embrace made him generally braver.
“Humans need four hugs a day for survival,” he said. Said like they were sitting next to each other working on their game, and he needed to info dump on Jae Young before he could concentrate on coding.
“Four hugs,” he repeated himself.
“Okay.”
Jae Young waited and Sang Woo stared at the tiny mole between the hairs of Jae Young’s left eyebrow. He had never seen that mole before. Something new to discover every day and…
“Would we wither away or what kind of survival are we talking about?”
An icy block crumbled away from Sang Woo’s lungs.
“I don’t know,” he had to admit. He wanted to break out of the embrace to see Jae Young’s face more clearly. Was he confused? Was he connecting the dots, was he—
“Is that the reason why you’re so clingy lately?”
“I’m not clingy,” Sang Woo protested. He was, he is.
“Are you saving me from withering away? From the cold touch of loneliness?”
“Hyung…” Sang Woo was not impressed. But Jae Young cackled and brought him back into his arms, his legs too, a full body hug, or more like being captured by an octopus.
“Should we count them from now on?”, Jae Young asked, whispered it into the soft skin behind Sang Woo’s ear, nibbled the question into the slope of his jaw and Sang Woo shuttered. “A minimum of four hugs a day?”
And he knew, right? That it was easy and frightening to ask for what he wanted, that he would rather hide behind a sarcastic remark, but wanted to melt into Jae Young’s compliance, his patience, the delightful way he loved.
“I will count them,” he muttered, his hands on Jae Young’s back, digging his fingers, pressing, a threat, a promise. Jae Young laughed, the laughter of success, of amusement and maybe there was an article about the importance of laughter in a relationship, too, Sang Woo thought, basking in the warmth of Jae Young’s hug.
end.

Adrift in the heat
Fandom: History 3: Trapped
Pairing: Shao Fei x Tang Yi
Length: ~ 2000 words Oneshot
Summary:
Shao Fei rolled his eyes and leaned his head back onto the staple of pallets they had been thrown against. He suspected that they were held in some kind of old warehouse. The windows were either broken or old newspapers stuck to it. The pallets were the only source of shadows because the sun shone mercilessly into the room. Hot air was coming through the open windows. He smelled the hot dirt and dust on his tongue. It felt like he was able to slice through the air.

Guys help.
I still haven't finished my first TKA fic and now I'm thinking of a new Gao Yingjie/Qiao Yifan band!AU fic where they originally started a band with just the two of them called Kind Tree and they used to sing all these really soft duet ballads. Then they got signed to Tiny Herb Records with Wang Jiexi and then Jiexi adds all these other members to improve the band and then thinks Yifan isn't working out in the band anymore and kicks Yifan out. But some how at a cafe, singing the old songs he wrote with Yingjie, Yifan gets noticed by the former lead singer of One Autumn Leaf, Ye Qiu...

2020 Creator Wrap: Favorite Works
Rules: It’s time to love yourselves! Choose your 5 (or so) favorite works you created in the past year (fics, art, edits, etc.) and link them below to reflect on the amazing things you brought into the world in 2020. Tag as many writers/artists/etc. as you want (fan or original) so we can spread the love and link each other to awesome works!
Okay guys, so I was tagged by... nobody ^^ But I shamelessly stole this from another fandom and I think it’s such a cool idea. So time for all of you guys to flex ! I’ll start, and please don’t hesitate to continue the chain and share your work, because we have some amazing creators in this fandom and it’s be a shame to not recognize that.
I don’t know that any of those classify as “amazing things brought into the world”, but for what it’s worth here are 5 of my favourite creations for this year (and man this is difficult) :
1- I’ll Try Every way (Sarawat/Tine) - The fic that got me back into writing, the fic that I wrote in like... 2 days because of my obsession with this show and the love these two share, and the fic that allowed me to meet so many people. For that alone (and because it’ll always have a soft spot in my heart), it deserves a spot here.
2- All the Sudden I Fear (Kang Gook/Han Tae Joo) - I had such a specific vision in my head about how I wanted this entire fic to happen and it’s one of the only ones where I had such a vivid image, and I managed to put that into text exactly the way I envisionned it. It was also the first fic I wrote outside of the 2gether fandom after getting back into writing, and to this day I really like it.
3- Our Gift to the World Series (Pang/Wave) - Still ongoing so I hesitated in putting it there, but it’ll be finished by the end of 2020, so we’re doing this ! One of those stories has one of my favourite lines I’ve written. Also I loved challending myself to write for characters where I feel like I don’t have their voices down as much as I did for Sarawat/Tine and to write one fic a week... And while that part failed spectacularly, I’m still pretty proud of the result so far ^^
4- Home is an Irrevocable Condition (Sarawat/Tine) : I hesitated between this one and A Renewable Ressource, but ultimately this one won out because I’m soft for the hurt/comfort trope. It was really nice writing a Sarawat that is less confident than what we see on the show and delving into another part of their relationship and I just really like this one :)
5- The Risk it Took to Blossom (Sarawat/Tine) : Hands down my favourite fic I wrote in this fandom I think. Tine’s insecurities was an issue that I really wanted to delve into and I loved being able to explore that. I also poured so much of myself in this, it has to be the most personal fic I wrote. So yeah... The risk it took to blossom is probably my 2020 Queen.
I tag some of my favourite creators : @yihwas @brightwin @florbexter @asianmelodrama @petekaos @ficklefackle @earthfluuke @gunsatthaphan @wavelovespang @tawanv @wjmild @curlykytta @fiat-pattadon @pallyson @thingskateknows @oh-aew @taytawan @1akorn @sarawatism @owentodawn and everyone else I’ve surely forgotten that wants to share some of their creations with the world :)
Whether you guys are fic writers, gif makers, text posters, or crazy talented people that do all three, I can’t wait to see which works you show us !

love in the dark | 2,189 words | TangFei
It’s the second time in three years they’re in this situation — stuck in a lift and sitting close to each other on the floor as they await rescue. Tang Yi can’t bring himself to hate it, because Shao Fei is here by his side, just like he was three years ago.
(an excuse just to briefly write chaotic but competent secretary!shao fei and also a tang yi who lets shao fei take care of him without much thought, for once)
--
For @florbexter ‘s July collection - Out of Order and taking one of her prompts out from her list! As always, flor is a hard carry for the Trapped fandom <3
--
“… you really should stop having coke in the morning so often,” Tang Yi says, looking at the man seated opposite him at the dining table with obvious disapproval. “Give me that.”
The man in question looks up suspiciously, then hugs the can of coke to himself, “You said I could have anything!”
Tang Yi opens his mouth to refute him, but Shao Fei, with his wide, innocent-looking eyes, is staring at Tang Yi as if he cannot believe that the man will go back on his word.
“I know I said I would fulfil a request of yours for inking that difficult deal on my behalf, but… don’t you want something else? New interns? A new car? How about a new coffee machine for the secretary’s pantry? Or even a few more suits? The last one is a good idea. You haven’t gone for a fitting in a while and there are a few new batches of prints for the autumn collection-“
“Tang Yi, it’s just one can of coke, I’m not even drinking a bottle,” Shao Fei interrupts with a frown.
“And no, I don’t want new interns because you hate having to deal with them and I don’t want to end up babysitting them either. Why would I need a car? Wherever you go, I go. Coffee machine? You buy a new one and I give it a week before Jack and Zhao Zi have it shifted to some other floor for themselves. I’ve got all the clothes I need. You won’t deny me this guilty pleasure, right? Tang Yi! Ah Yi, Xiao Yi Yi~”
He’s not wrong on any count. As always, Tang Yi finds that in front of one Meng Shao Fei, there’s really nothing that he wouldn’t give him. However, they’ve known each other for the better part of three years, and it really doesn’t hurt to try.
How long has Shao Fei been his secretary now? Almost three years in two months, Tang Yi notes.
And to think that Tang Yi was so resistant towards the idea of having a secretary and personal assistant for years, having a huge dislike for strangers following him that closely.
Now, Tang Yi and Shao Fei spend almost every hour together — working in the same office, staying in the same house, going on holidays, and hanging out lazily on the couch on off days among other things.
“Okay, just this once,” Tang Yi acquiesces, then reaches for Shao Fei’s mouth with his hand, his thumb wiping away at the remnants of coke on his lips.
Shao Fei doesn’t pay Tang Yi’s touch any mind, almost leaning imperceptibly into it as his attention is captured by the incoming messages on his phone.
“Hmm, we’ve got to go soon, Bai-zong is arriving at the airport early and I think he’ll make his way straight to us to talk over the deal,” he says, quickly firing off some replies to the messages he’s reading. “That gives us an extra hour before lunch, which means you’ll be able to attend that mini party going on in the marketing department? It’ll be good to turn up and show that you actually care about your employees…”
“I do care about all my employees,” Tang Yi returns dryly, getting to his feet. “Did you get the gifts for Bai-zong and also Xiao Man’s farewell party?”
His secretary looks up, a little affronted at the insinuation that he’s not fully prepared, “Of course! Tang Yi, how can you doubt me-“
“Alright, just get ready,” Tang Yi smiles, touching a knuckle to Shao Fei’s cheek in mock-admonishment.
===
Everyone is fond of Shao Fei, even though he’s not the type of character that most people will think of first when they look at the secretary role. Shao Fei is loud, boisterous, and sometimes even impulsive, creating trouble for Tang Yi when he’s not looking. It’s always the minor things though, like tripping over his own feet and dropping a tray of hot coffee onto his very expensive rugs once, or getting mad at a potential client for harassing Tang Yi.
Since Shao Fei assumed the role however, Tang Yi has to say there has not yet been a single misfiled document, late reply to an email or forgotten appointments. He’s also getting less complaints from his employees as a whole because Shao Fei is pretty much a guard at his door, fielding important requests from ridiculous ones. And since Shao Fei actually is a black belt in both Judo and Taekwondo, he plays the role of Tang Yi’s bodyguard from time to time if the situation calls for it.
Tang Yi remembers all of his employees’ names because this is his company, after all, but Shao Fei knows everyone. He speaks to every person they come across, and even when Ke-shu, the janitor that’s in charge of cleaning Tang Yi’s office and Shao Fei’s desk, comes in every morning to take out the trash, Shao Fei ends up chatting with him, asking after his granddaughter and if his knee is feeling better.
Shao Fei took a week off once, and it was only then Tang Yi realized just how much work he was handling.
“When are we flying to Beijing again?” asks Tang Yi, stepping into the lift.
“Next Thursday,” Shao Fei replies without even pausing. “I’ve already booked the tickets.”
It has been a while since the both of them took a break, and Tang Yi says so after some consideration, “We’ve got a bit of time this month right? Let’s extend the trip by a day or two.”
“Hmm… we could,” Shao Fei agrees carefully, his mind running through the meetings he has to reschedule if they do that. “Nothing important in the days after that inspection with the team in Beijing-“
He’s cut off when the elevator suddenly shakes with a loud scratching noise from the outside, and almost falling to the side if Tang Yi did not grab for him. The lights flicker on and off several times before the lift comes to a complete stop, and they’re plunged into darkness.
Shao Fei draws Tang Yi in unconsciously with one hand while the other pats at his pocket for his phone.
“You okay?” he asks, his hand sliding across Tang Yi’s back.
“… yeah, I’m good,” Tang Yi replies.
He tries to sound as nonchalant and steady as possible, but his voice still shakes a little. Shao Fei catches that tiny detail, and without another word, he brings the both of them to the corner of the lift next to the lift buttons and hits at the correct one to ring for help.
Tang Yi isn’t fond of enclosed spaces, and certainly not spaces that do not have light.
After communicating with the security guards in the building that he and Tang Yi are stuck in the lift, all they can do is wait for help. With that done, Shao Fei switches the flashlight on his phone on and leaves it on the floor so the entire lift is illuminated.
Looking at Tang Yi finally, Shao Fei frowns, noting how tightly wound up Tang Yi is against him. With any luck they’ll be out of here in another couple of hours, so he lowers himself and Tang Yi to the ground to sit.
“This reminds me of our first meeting,” Shao Fei chuckles, encircling Tang Yi’s waist with both arms. “We were stuck in a lift together too like this, do you remember? I can’t believe the both of us have the luck to be stuck here together, again.”
“… of course I remember,” Tang Yi exhales, letting himself lean into Shao Fei entirely and consciously forcing his fists to unclench. Then, “I really should get the lifts changed. Breaking down twice in three years?”
“That’s not too bad,” Shao Fei murmurs, resting his chin on Tang Yi’s nearest shoulder. “If we didn’t get stuck together three years ago, you wouldn’t have gotten the chance to know me and then you’d be down a secretary!”
After a short moment, Tang Yi laughs, “You mean when you nagged at me until I gave you a job?”
Shao Fei rolls his eyes, the banter on this subject familiar to him.
Now that he thinks about it, it’s a miracle and a half that they are here today, all because of a malfunctioning lift then.
The scene was almost identical to the current one. He was rushing for an interview in Shi Hai Corporation’s public relations department when the lift broke down, and it would be a few months later that Shao Fei found out why Tang Yi is so afraid of the dark and small, closet-sized spaces.
Then, however, Shao Fei began talking away to the handsome man crouched stiffly on the floor next to him, trying to distract him as much as possible, not knowing that this was the CEO of the company he was interviewing for. At the end of the whole ordeal, Tang Yi knew so much about Shao Fei that it would have been comical, if not for how much he hated the lack of light and fresh air in that metal box they used for vertical transportation.
When they finally got out, Shao Fei obviously missed his interview time by a few hours and with a soft sigh, he stuffed his printed resume into his bag and headed home instead.
Who knew that Tang Yi would give him a call himself a day later and ask if he was still in need of a job?
Half a year into his role, Shao Fei broke his arm protecting Tang Yi from an almost car accident, and Tang Yi forcibly moved him into his mansion.
He moved into Tang Yi’s house, into his bed and then into his heart and soul — and Shao Fei hasn’t left since.
“Don’t be afraid,” Shao Fei murmurs into his ear, and Tang Yi likes this even more than the previous experience he had with Shao Fei here, because today he’s being unabashedly held in Shao Fei’s arms. “You have me! Hold out just for a bit more.”
His heart aches for Tang Yi, and not for the first time, Shao Fei wonders if it’s acceptable to run to Yilan and sock Tang Yi’s foster father - from before Tang Yi found Tang Guo Dong, his adoptive father - in both the eyes and the nose for being cruel to a young, defenseless child then.
“Mnn,” Tang Yi nods in agreement, turning a little to look at Shao Fei. “I have you.”
Shao Fei’s phone finally runs out of battery less than an hour later and they sit for a while longer in absolute darkness, but the irrational fear that usually comes is absent today for some reason. Feeling the warmth of Shao Fei’s body around his and his arms hugging him so tightly, Tang Yi wonders if this is why he feels so anchored and safe.
They don’t have to wait too long for rescue. Hearing the metallic, loud clangs of equipment against the exterior of the lift, one moment they’re shrouded in darkness and the next, the door is pried open, allowing light to flood their surroundings.
Tang Yi’s eyes can barely open against the glare of the bright sunlight as his vision adjusts accordingly.
“Tang-zong! Meng-mishu! Are you both okay?” one of their staff asks, frantic as he stands behind the two firefighters trying to get them out.
“Trust the both of you to get stuck in a lift together again,” Jack is there too, and somehow that head of flaming red hair has never looked as welcoming as it does now. “The both of you okay?”
“We’re good,” Shao Fei answers next to him. Then to Tang Yi, “Tang Yi, let’s go!”
Tang Yi can only stare as Shao Fei offers his hand to him, his lovely smile so bright and his body almost glowing, bathed in the morning sunlight before Tang Yi’s eyes.
Ah, he thinks to himself, this is why.
Paying their audience no mind, Tang Yi puts his hand in Shao Fei’s, and uses the grip to tug Shao Fei in. Kissing him in front of prying eyes softly, tenderly.
“… what’s that for?” Shao Fei asks when they pull apart, his cheeks dusted with pink.
It’s not like their relationship is a secret at the company, but they’re not all that public with their affection for each other either.
“Nothing, just… I love you,” Tang Yi smiles back.
A few of their staff, including Jack, are gathered to watch them get rescued, and at the display of affection, plenty of ‘awwws’ and ‘oooohs’ go around. Jack opens his mouth to tease, as is expected of him, and Tang Yi chooses that moment to glare at him.
“Say one word and you can go without your bonus this year.”
Next to him, Shao Fei cannot help but burst out into mirthful laughter, his hand interlaced with Tang Yi’s.
Indeed, there is nothing to fear, not even the dark itself-
-as long as Shao Fei continues being his light.

Aight so...
As I stated last Wednesday, I held my judgements to tonight.
Tumblr media
I’m conflicted, yet frustrated with this ending. I may or may not write a bit longer on my frustrations with the finale later this week. In the meantime, I already know @weilongfu @florbexter and many others have some fix-its on the horizon.

CTL!!!! Sarawatine are so!!!! I squealed through the episode gosh! Also how funny that Sarawats plan to lessen Tine's stage fright was coming up with a screenplay?? XD Tine's face "Now I also have to imagine being an actor what?"
first of all thank you for alerting me to your ask, because tumblr for some reason doesn’t give me any hint on new asks anymore...
I really enjoyed thems so much!! I was a little bit upset we cut away so quicky from their cuddling on the sofa.
And I am happy to have been proven correct that Tine is a sly bastard that totally knows how to innocently push the right buttons to entice Sarawat even more.

Wei’s 2020 Roundup
2020 was a long year (understatement of the century) and I did a number of things and did not do a number of things. A large portion of it was held up by academic responsibilities (papers and dissertations which are still ongoing despite defending) and the onset of the current global situation. But really, I feel like that’s enough depressing things so let’s get on to the happier things worth mentioning.
This year on AO3, I published approx 90+ new fics (exact number unclear, especially counting prompt fills). I wrote for many new fandoms and I’m very thankful for everyone that enjoyed my fics and felt so strongly as to leave a comment or kudos on them. Thank you for your encouragement and I hope that the new year will mean I can bring you more new things that you will enjoy. And maybe actually reduce my WIP folder instead of just adding to it.
Works from 2020 that I’m proud of: The name etched on my chest (the one you forgot) - HIStory 3 Trapped, Jack/Zhao Zi Wish in ways long forgotten - Mystic Pop-up Bar Rich boy Demigods and the Collective Unconscious - Multiple Thai BL crossover The Dryad’s Blood - My Engineer, RamKing (Re)Write your own fate - WHY R U, SaifahZon Ship it like binary stars - HIStory 3 MODC, Hao Ting/Xi Gu
I also failed on my part of the HIStory 3 translation project with @stebeee , of which I am very sorry that I did not pull through. I definitely let myself get way in over my head not only learning Chinese, but also attempting to learn Traditional Chinese at the same time.
Min, I’m very sorry to have been a very poor partner. T^T
These things aired, please allow me to thank all of you who have been good friends, followers, and more this year. Even if you aren’t tagged, please know that if you follow me and constantly show up in my notifications, I see you, I acknowledge you, and I appreciate you. And if you’ve mentioned me in a post before that I didn’t reply to, I’m sorry it slipped by me, but I appreciate it all the same. @sarah-yyy @stebeee @earthfluuke @thewickling @audoldends @ohdrey89 @florbexter @randomingoftherandomness @jordayyy @chanagun @thanatsarans @so-much-yet-to-learn @ctl-yuejie @ladymusashi
While we’re here, I raise my glass to andwebegin. I sill miss you Andy, I hope we get back in touch one day. <3
Thank you everyone for making 2020 bearable, if not at least good enough, and I look forward to seeing everyone in 2021.
(I say this as if I’m not going to be trawling through this hell site as this year ticks over into 2021.)

Apparently my birth name (which I’m toying with changing tbh) has the aesthetic is blood, diamonds, and pastels, like rich heiress murderer vibe. Which I’m okay with. I’m an April baby so my birth stone is diamonds but I actually not a huge fan of the the Swarovski crystal type diamonds a la the eggs and toast picture. My new room is gonna be a black and pink pastel theme and I love true crime. As I’m writing this I’m realizing this is more accurate than I thought oh dear....

tagged by @thewickling for “wick wips” - thank you for thinking of me! 💖 I don’t really write anymore as it seems my muse has left me, probably backpacking around Europe getting drunk and partying- lucky muse. I feel horrible that I’ve left an unfinished story over at AO3, but apparently not horrible enough to force myself to finish it.
I *would* however, like to someday finish this ChuxGuo WIP I have on my computer, if only for myself because I have NO idea if anyone reads or ships ChuxGuo anymore - I will love them forever, but I’m weird.
“A Little Less Conversation. Perfect.” slightly long excerpt:
The door opened in the middle of Guo’s second knock, the hand poised to rap again snatched to pull him inside. Chu Ge’s warm, gentle smile was enhanced by the soft glow of candlelight illuminating the apartment; so many candles were lit, he’d have suspected a power failure if he hadn’t seen the hall light working perfectly. His boyfriend’s outfit was different than the usual clothing he wore; snugger if that were possible, the not-quite-buttoned button up shirt showing off more of his chest than the normal tank top.
“Hi.” The word was spoken softly, seductively, prequel to a lingering kiss which left them both a little dazed, despite several months of dating and innumerable kisses. “Mmmm... Are you hungry?” When those words were spoken like that, growled into the kiss, it felt like there was more to that question than was asked, the breathy “uh huh” an answer to the underlying question.
“Confess, how many cookies did you eat?” Chu seemed to enjoy the flush creeping over his boyfriend’s face. “Two.” When the silence lingered, he sighed and admitted, “Five.” Guo Chang Cheng found himself pulled into an affectionate hug, an amusement-filled kiss pressed to his hair with words that sounded very much like “God, I love you” said so quietly he almost missed them. Startled, he pulled back enough to search Chu Ge’s face for any sign of sarcasm or joking. All he found was a pair of mocha eyes gazing back at him with adoration, sort of goofy tilt to his expressive lips. “Yeah, I do”, a hint of surprise in his voice.
~~~
He’d not meant to confess, he didn’t realise he’d slipped into love until his boyfriend tried to lie, badly, about his cookie intake. He’d never felt love for anyone before except his brother, hadn’t ever had the intensity of feeling like this, the urge to protect, to possess someone entirely, to make someone else happy no matter what it took. There was something in Guo Chang Cheng that triggered the urge to build a life with him, in that instant he recognized without hesitation that there would never be anyone more perfect for him, never be anyone who with a simple glance of those cinnamon eyes could reduce him to a mass of staggering want, make him think of a home… Children. He was sure his words were unexpected when disbelief shown on his boyfriend’s face, in a way that slightly hurt. He’d tried so hard to show him that he was loved, cared for, and yet he hadn’t seen it. Had fled to his safe, happy place to eat cookies and play with kittens, alone. “So, next time you’re hurt, come to me. Or take me with you. I like cookies and kittens too. But I love you.”
Xiao Guo moved his mouth to reply, nothing came out. Those gorgeous cinnamon eyes glittered with tears, some of which overflowed and slid down his face. Shu Zhi cupped his jaw with careful hands, brushing his thumbs to wipe away the moisture before pulling him in for another kiss. After a moment, he felt more than heard “I love you too” murmured on his lips, felt hands slide up to pull him deeper. Tongues teased languidly as if they had all the time in the world, small sounds of passion slipped out and echoed in the apartment, caresses exchanged; all of this wasn’t new; now, however, there was more than just desire fueling them.
Before it got out of hand, he kissed his way along his boyfriend’s jawline to lightly lick his ear. “I promised I’d feed you, so we need to stop.” Snorting at Xiao Guo’s grumble of dissatisfaction, he stepped out of his arms to pull him towards the sofa. “Luckily you’ve eaten five cookies so you won’t be starving. This isn’t actually really dinner, more of a demonstration.” He picked up a black piece of cloth off the sofa, holding it up. “You need to wear this.” Those glittering eyes widened in outright shock. “Um, what?” Chu repeated himself. “You. Need to wear. This. Trust me?” He cajoled, “Please?” when Chang Cheng paused, then gave a hesitant nod of the head.
He removed the ever-present shoulder bag, dropped it next to the sofa and turned him around. “Let me know if it’s too tight. I don’t want you to be able to see, okay?” Slipping on the blindfold, he tied a firm knot. “Good?” A quick nod in response. “Okay, sit here for a moment, don’t touch.” Chang Cheng was gently placed on the floor, back to the sofa. “I’ll be right back.”
~~~
He heard Chu Ge move off to do whatever, feeling a little weird with a black cloth covering half his face. Tonight was both wonderful and slightly strange. He was still buzzing with the confession, nerves thrumming with both the aftereffects of the kiss and the fact that he was sitting on the floor in literal blind trust while his boyfriend prepared him for something. All of that overlaid with a feeling of being home, wanted. Maybe he could finally work up the courage to take his clothes off.
The sound of returning footsteps alerted him to whatever was going to happen next, the thunk of plates being placed on the low table in front of him sounding louder in the silent room than it should.
“Okay, scootch up a bit.” Hands pushed him a little forward, he felt Chu Ge slip in and sit behind him, his legs bracketing his own body. “Comfy?” Comfy? Try turned on? Excited? Nervous? “Um... yeah.”
Whispers in his ear, accompanied by the graze of his boyfriend stubble sent shivers over his skin. “Good. Now, taste this.” He felt something cool and damp against his lips, scented lightly like peach. He opened them up to let his boyfriend slip it in, feeling a thumb brush his closed lips. “Chew and swallow, please.” The finger continued to caress his lips as he did as requested. “Try this.” Another cool, moist piece of peach was placed in his mouth, this one more fragrant, again asked to chew and swallow. “Which one was better, Xiao Guo? First or second?”
Trying to speak was proving difficult. “Um, the second one. It was sweeter.” He felt arms come around him and hug him quickly. “Good, good. Now try this.” A small, round object was placed at his lips. “Open.” Blueberry. Again another round object was placed against his lips, smaller this time, again was requested to taste it. “Which one did you like more? One or two?” Chu Ge seemed very happy that his answer was two, it earned him a kiss on the temple.
And so it went for the next few minutes; asparagus, shrimp, strawberries, raspberries. Each time a request for Xiao Guo to tell him which tasted better, each time a reward for the ‘right’ answer. Finally, the blindfold was removed and Chang Cheng blinked at the soft candlelight, re-accustoming his eyes to the room. In front of him on the low table were all the things he’d sampled, two of each kind, one larger than the other. He turned questioning eyes on his boyfriend, saw a slow smile steal across his lips. “Every single time, Xiao Guo, you chose the smaller one. You said the smaller one tasted better. Do you understand now that bigger isn’t always better?” Chu Shi Zhi stood up, pulled him to his feet, wrapped his arms around his boyfriend, mocha eyes gazing into cinnamon ones. “Smaller things are as good, if not often better, love, than larger things. That idiot in gym class couldn’t appreciate you for you. It sucks for him and I’m sorry he hurt you, but I’m happy for me that I grabbed you and he didn’t.”
Xiao Guo gave up even trying to hold back the tears. Unable to express his overwhelming emotions, he simply clung to his boyfriend like he was the only thing keeping him alive and let them flow. Soothing hands swept up and down his spine, calming, reassuring; utterances of love and comfort washing over him, easing the storm. Finally, he relaxed, mumbling quiet apologies into Chu Ge’s shoulder. “I am so sorry, I didn’t mean to turn into a mess.”
He felt a small kiss on his forehead. “It’s fine, don’t be upset. You know I had an ulterior motive for this, right?” His boyfriend wiggled his eyebrows in what was supposed to be a provocative way. “Ugh, please don’t do that, you look like Chief Zhao when you do that and it kinda kills the mood.” He did not want to think about his boss when he was contemplating getting naked with his boyfriend.
