I have the idea of Ryou Bakura reacting this way about Season 4 of YuGiOh but hitting figures with the Millennium Ring.

Pictured: Ryou, with a set of YGO action figures that are decidedly not Monster World-esque in front of him:

“Oh, this is cute! What is this - playing with your dolls here? Some duel going on, some sort of - choreographed set up -”

*picks up Amelda figure* “Who’s this guy? Final Fantasy convention rave he’s just rolled in from at 3 am -” *high-pitched rave music noises*

“Interesting there’s no, um, Bakura figure here -” looks up at the camera, clearly not surprised, “is that on purpose, or -”

off-screen answer

“Filler seas - oh, yeah, heard that before. Not canon - no Bakura. Right. They’re just standing around, pointing at each other -” picks up Jounouchi figure faced off against Valon and waves its arms around, “look at me, I’m an idiot!”

“You know what would really happen if there was a fight between all of us -” Millennium Ring appears in hand, tines chiming against each other, “it would go a bit like this. Oh look at me, I’m Seto Kaiba, and I just got hit over there!” Smacks with Ring. “And oooh, look at me, I’m Katsuya Jounouchi, and I got smashed over there like a little Baby Dragon! She can -” knocks over Rebecca and Mokuba figures - “they’re just kids, they can fall over. He’s not even really there,” knocks over Pegasus figure, “no one’s allowed to beat the Pharaoh until Season 5, so you can just fall off the table,” knocks over Rafael, “bunch of losers, these guys,” knocks over the rest of the villains of Season 4 and as an afterthought, Yami no Yuugi, then gestures to Mai, Honda and Otogi as an afterthought - “I like those guys, they can stay -”

And then finally, picking up the neglected Yuugi Mutou figure, “- and Yuugi can come with me, because we’re ‘neglected by the anime’ mates. Thanks for nothing, Season 4!”
