Heey i know this is probably weird as heck, 2 years after the last update, but i LOVE your Ruins fanfiction and I JUST found it - way too late - and was wondering if you have any plans of finishing it? It's so good it makes me physically hurt ;_;

I cannot believe it's been 2 years since my last update, ugh! Honestly, right at the moment my creative energies are focused elsewhere (primarily on running the Curse of Strahd module for some good friends). But I bounce back and forth when it comes to the DA fandom, and I have no doubt I'll be back again at some point - though, unfortunately, I can't give you a solid timeframe or anything like that. I want to finish the projects I have outstanding, and I really want to do that before DA4 is looming over my head as a very final deadline. (Fortunately for me, I guess, Bioware doesn't seem to be getting anywhere close to telling us when that will happen.)

Thank you SO much for reading Ruins, and for reaching out to me. I'm glad you liked it!! I hope I can give you more of it someday soon.

That's actually a sign if migraines and you should probably get that checked out! (Also in case you don't know: there are special kinds of pain meds of migraines, normal meds like ibuprofen or aspirin can make migraines worse in the long run. So if this is your first time and you have not been to the doc yet, maybe get your head checked if you can!)

i had the thought but i have a lot of headaches because of the fibro anyway, so i was assuming it’s that, however -- i actually used to get hormonal migraines BAD before i went on birth control pills and i also... happen to be on my period. so i talked to my mom about it and we’re pretty sure it’s a migraine even though i’m not having the sound/light sensitivity or the auras and it’s not in the same place in my head as the migraines i’m used to getting (usually migraines are behind one eye for me but this is more centralized). we keep migraine meds on hand cuz she gets them sometimes so i think this is just?? a different kinda migraine than i used to have as a teenager?? if the migraine meds don’t help i’m gonna see if i can see my np on monday so y’know. we good. chronic illness be like that. it’s just throwing a dart at a wall and using that to guess which of your illnesses is causing that symptom today dfklgdflkgj

heyo! i saw your addition to the "Q - QU" post and wanted to ask you something about latin. i did latin for 7 years in school and during that time, the pronunciation of "c" changed. where it would have been a "ts"-sound before (cicero, crescere - in front of e and i), it was suddenly supposed to be pronounced as "k" in any word, so "tsitsero" became "kikero". i get it for "caesar" because of the greek origin but what's your stance on this? always extremely interested in what you say! :)

In classical Latin, c was always pronounced /k/, regardless of what vowel followed, likewise for g being /g/ in all environments.  In most dialects of later Latin, /k/ became /t͡s/ or /t͡ʃ/ before front vowels and /g/ became /d͡ʒ/, and then various other changes in the modern Romance languages (e.g., c before front vowels being /s/ in French, /θ/ or /s/ depending on dialect in Spanish, /t͡ʃ/ in Italian, etc. - though Sardinian notably preserved /k/ and /g/ before front vowels).  Traditionally, many European nations used different (local) pronunciations of Latin, subject to various sound changes.  In English-speaking nations, for example, the letter C was traditionally pronounced /s/ before front vowels, and the Catholic church has (at least in English-speaking nations, I’m not sure about elsewhere) traditionally used an Italian pronunciation, so that c is pronounced /t͡ʃ/ before the front vowels.

So, in Cicero’s own time, his name would’ve been pronounced something like /kɪkɛroː/, so replacing the /t͡s/ pronunciations with /k/ is returning to the original pronunciation.  I find it interesting that the use of classical pronunciation is so new where you live.

yes could you maybe elaborate on what they threatened to do? i’m kinda worried now ._.

well 

the people on 4chan have planned to come onto tumblr the 20th-26th and fill popular tags with pictures mean to trigger people (gore for example)

they will also be replacing links with links to pictures of those same means (an example ive heard is their going to replace links to suicide hotlines with links to pictures of people committing suicide, which is wrong on SO MANY LEVELS)

and of course theyre going to do that stupid classic 4chan thing and hack into peoples accounts to post these things and do whatever the fuck their doing

i have no idea why theyre doing it or if im going to be hacked so i put that out there to tell people it wont be me posting these things if i do it will be the person who hacked me if such things appear coming from my blog. im also going to stay away from tumblr doing the times i said so you know FOR SURE it ISNT ME. if i DO come on during those days i said id be away from tumblr ill reblog that post there to show that it is me because i dont think someone who hacked me would reblog such a thing. 

but yeah, thats whats apparently going to be going on which sucks major ass and is horrible but its going to happen anyways apparently

Honestly not really, at least nothing comes to mind. It hasn;t been until recent years that I’m more tear jerky. I cried in movies but video games not so much.
