Today I dreamed that by the last class we had ICT, and apparently, they were teaching us to use Craiyon. My prompt was Jon Pertwee in Resident Evil (which I did IRL already) but it came out very whacked - some pictures looked cartoony while others looked realistic.

So here is Worzel Gummidge himself eating a cheeseburger. I like the idea of him eating this...

I prefer to put the characters in scenarios for extra wackyness, but from my experience in Reddit, let's just say nothing else.

This took me quite a while to screenshot, for I always look away every time I generate something.

1. What was the first fandom and/or pairing that you wrote fic for? 

I have some old-old notebooks that have unpublishable content for an antique show that lasted one season on NBC, Earth 2. I had a website for a show called Profiler, which was more focused on meta and character studies (under the handle Zarah back in the day). The first fic i wrote for was Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and I spent a few years writing there (back on Twisting the Hellmouth) and on various stuff on livejournal.

4. Do you outline before you start writing? If so, how far do you stray from that outline? 

I tend to have the outline for the big plot points in my head by the time I start writing, but the details flesh themselves out as I write, as well as some amount of characterization (esp. for OCs) and the humour of it all. 

So, for example, in my Hands of Clay story, I knew that Steve and Bucky were going to have a big misunderstanding about why Steve never told Bucky that he was bi after they met again as adults, but it didn’t occur to me to have it be the [redacted spoiler] that I mentioned in the second chapter, until I was writing like chapter 19.  

That moment of realization was glorious.  

17: What fic are you most proud of? 

I think as a complete piece? Hands of Clay, it stands together really well. And, abnormally in my writing, has a really solid ending. 

As an artistic piece? I’m partial to Marking Time, my “Neal Caffery is the Doctor’s great-grandson out of time” Doctor Who/White Collar story – it has a nice take on the non-linear flow of time from a Gallifreyan perspective.

From a sheer ‘fun’ perspective, Hour of the Wolf. That one is just fun to write. Weary time-travelling Allison is my favourite disaster.

Once upon a time six years ago me and my best friend looked at Doctor Who: The Day of the Doctor (2013) and said "we can fix this" and this spiraled rapidly out of control into a 450+ page Google Doc called Time Rewritten. Pretty quickly we embraced self-indulgence as the name of the game and since it is practically a meme amongst our friends that if my favourite characters do not have children to parent/mentor they WILL be assigned one by me, Eve was born. Eve became the child of the Doctor and River Song in a Mutual Adoption Incident where they as a baby Tenza imprinted on them both and whoops is now part Time Lord because that's how Tenza work. The era of the "show" we wrote for them mostly takes place when they're between nine and thirteen, and they are a pure force of chaos and wholesomeness. The Master (Missy) gifts them a vortisaur egg when she assigns herself their godmother and Eve HAS attempted to teach their space pterodactyl to fly the TARDIS and it HAS gone terribly. The Doctor calls them Starlight. Later on their arc touches on their identity as a Gallifreyan without ever having lived on Gallifrey and stuff. I don't know how much more I can say without becoming nonsensical or summarising the entire plot of Time Rewritten. My ask box is open to questions (@genderbinaryisforlosers). They're my little baby and they deserve to win.

Oh yeah in Time Rewritten we said fuck it this is our house and recast the Eleventh Doctor as John Boyega (Matt Smith got reassigned elsewhere), so Eve is black. They have platinum blond curly hair and the smile of an angel. Art below is mine!
