New information has surfaced for Digimon Survive with details on a couple main characters in Aoi Shibuya and Minoru Hyuga. We also have some more info on the importance of choices you’ll make. [Thanks, Gamestalk.]
Aoi Shibuya
A gentle and honest upperclassmen. She manages the cooking and admirably handles the security of the base. Her partner is Labramon. She has an articulate personality.
Minoru Hyuga
Minoru is classmates with the protagonist Takumi. He’s the talkative optimist of the group. While he opens up to just about anybody, he really hates getting into arguments. His partner is Falcomon. He’s a stable person but occasionally takes wild actions.
We previously learned how Digimon Survive’s story will be told in a visual novel style. In the game you’ll get to choose things such as who to meet and how to act within a limited amount of time. There are various outcomes depending on the choices you make, which can even lead to the death of your friends, and there are several characters that can possibly be killed off this way.
Digimon Survive releases in North America and Europe in 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. It releases in Japan in 2019 for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. You can check our previous reports to learn more about its story and gameplay here, here, and here.

Granzella Reveals New Details About Disaster Report 5
In a recent live stream, Granzella revealed some new details about Disaster Report 5.
It will have an open world and its story takes place three years after the first Disaster Report game. Additionally, the game's story is set near Stiver Island, where the first game also took place.
Granzella's chief creator Kazuma Kujo also mentioned that characters from previous entries will make an appearance, including the first Disaster Report's Natsumi Higa and Masayuki Sudo. He clarified that while Sudo was the protagonist in the first game, he will not be so in Disaster Report 5.
However, it seems like Natsumi Higa's brother is. During a live stream last year, Kujo said, "Last time, she was 22 or 23 years old, but now she is a college student. Her brother is the main character of the story. And the story is about his big sister coming to pick him up. It’s set in the fall. Open-world."
She was 17 in the first Disaster Report and 23 in Disaster Report 4, where she now worked as a high school teacher. Given that Disaster Report 5 takes place after the first game, it makes sense she is college-aged but still younger than she was in the fourth game.
The platforms for Disaster Report 5 have not yet been announced.

Nagoshi confirms a new Yakuza game is in the works
A new Yakuza title is in the works, series director Toshihiro Nagoshi confirmed during the Famitsu Awards 2016.
Yakuza 6 won an Excellence Award from the publication, and during the creator interview with Nagoshi, Famitsu editor-in-chief Katsuhiko Hayashi asked about the next entry in the series.
According to Nagoshi himself:
Yakuza 6 is, indeed, the last chapter of Kazuma Kiryu, and they are not walking back on this.
A new Yakuza game is already in the works, and Nagoshi already have plans for multiple new entries, too.
The Dragon Engine, introduced with Yakuza 6, is still under development, and they will only consider it done by its second or third game.
The new game is still in an early stage of development, but Nagoshi thinks he will be able to talk about it soon.
It’s easy to assume more info about this new game is coming around TGS 2017, which is set to happen during late September.
The most recent entry in the series, Yakuza 6, launched for PlayStation 4 in Japan in December 2016, and will launch in North America and Europe in early 2018. But before that, Yakuza: Kiwami will launch in the west on August 29.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice has multiple endings, but "no multiplayer"
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will have no multiplayer. The new action RPG from Dark Souls and Bloodborne developers From Software, both of which are known for their multiplayer elements, will not allow players to invade or assist other players through online multiplayer.
In a translated interview, game director Hidetaka Miyazaki announced that the “restrictions” imposed by multiplayer in the the studio's previous games have been entirely removed from the game. Miyazaki stated that “there is no multiplayer, since it is a fixed hero and a fixed class. I removed the restriction imposed by multiplayer.”
Souls games have more or less confirmed a permanent spot on our list of the best PC games.
In the interview with Gamestalk, Miyazaki suggested that there will be some souls-like elements in the game, stating that players “will, again, die many times, and that “like Dark Souls, the sense of accomplishment overcoming difficulties is an important concept.” Miyazaki also states that there will be some sort of regeneration system, where players will have a limited number of opportunities to resurrect themselves on the spot.
