So I was just rewatching ‘Accidently in Love’ again right (for like the 10th time) except this time it was specific episodes, the episodes with Fangfang and Yiyang encounters and I realised how upset I got when the show ended. As I watched the last episode my mind went,

If you haven’t finished the cdrama “Accidentally In Love” but I’m so sad now that I finished it :(

But I love my baby boy Gu Nanxi and all his friends ended up in relationships with each other so I legit thought: “You know who you would look great with sweetie? Qingqing’s other best friend from home, Nalan Yiyi! Friends dating other friends, UGH, doesn’t that sound wonderful??? Make it happen please writers!!!”

And lo and behold SPOILER (don’t read past this if you haven’t finished the series yet), in the last episode, AHHHHHHH!!! The writers came through and had Nalan Yiyi transfer to the kiddie’s college and Gu Nanxi fell head over heels in love at first sight, AND I CAN’T BELIEVE THEY ACTUALLY GOT THIS SHIP TOGETHER, WOW I’M SO GOOD AT THIS, THANK YOU WRITERS

You are 100% right anon. Gu Nanxi is an absolute angel and got hardly anything in return for his struggles. Throughout the entire show he sacrificed his time, energy, and happiness just so he could help his friends. And what's his happy ending? A few seconds of him starting to crush on Qingqing's best friend.

Seeing him fall for her was cute, but I feel like he deserved more love during the series. Even Xinya got a more developed love story than him! I feel like he deserved a more in depth happy ending after everything he did for his friends' happiness
