Hello.... Can I ask your top 5 favorite moments each from MDZS, BSD and JJK? Sorry for the random ask. It's just that I'm excited to see someone who loved MDZS (the reason I made tumblr) and also BSD & JJK....😆

hi anon! i relate, i impulsively made a tgcf fan account as soon as i'd watched the donghua 😭 (though it's dead rn). omg it's nice to meet someone who also loves all three of these!!

also I'm not sure if i understood and answered your asks correctly because I'm just listing whole scenes that i like the most but um yeah-

MDZS: tho i haven't completely read the novel yet, I'm more than half way through and i really loved the parts with xiao xingchen and xue yang! like apart from the obvious(?) ✨️gay✨️ subtext, their relationship is just-- xue yang is a terrible and an extremely cruel person, and he hurt xiao in every way possible but he still tried to resurrect him for so many years.. it's so complicated and well-written in the novel! like aah if i started explaining how much i love it it'll exceed the word limit but their whole flashback's just so good. and i love a lot of the scenes with wangxian (?) too!! they're so cute T_T and baby yuan is so sweet help

JJK: ->does the whole of s2 count? 😀 because i loved all of it, especially put together! imo it was a masterpiece, just perfect 🤌

->im talking about scene in the anime but junpei's death was so profound omg. brought me to tears everytime i watched it!

->underrated but i loved the scene where todo like, trains yuji? he teaches him all about jujutsu and black punch? yeah, i really loved that. i wish jjk just continued being a sweet normal shounen anime/ manga T_T with all these training montages and 0 angst

->the scene where geto describes what it's like to absorb spirits and describes it as swallowing a vomit-covered rag 😭 and how he slowly spirals into anger and hatred as he loses his friends (and sanity) one by one.. they really shouldn't have killed haibara, he's too precious

->i don't really wanna spoil the manga for you if you haven't read it yet, but um there's a scene with megumi and sukuna in the manga.. and I'm just gonna say that i really didn't expect it to happen. that's all I'll say (for now). you'll know when you see it.

and finally, BSD!: i only watched the anime tho so :D [and the movie--]

fukuzawa and fukuchi flashback. I'm sorry, which bl did they rip it off of?? the cherry blossom trees? the lake? I'm not Japanese and don't really know the significance of the cherry blossom tree and maybe it's also like a symbol of friendship and platonic affection in general but to me atleast it seemed very ✨️gay✨️ <3

yosano san's past: I'm sorry, a 11-year-old shouldn't have had to go through so much. it was just such a touching and gut-wrenching sequence in general.

yosano san defeating the lemon-explosive villain in the first season: she's just a badass i love her

fukuzawa-san lying to ranpo-san about his (lack of ) special abilities [can i adopt fukuzawa as my parent please]

and finally: the very first episode where akutagawa finds dazai floating in the river and dazai is like why did you save me i was in the middle of committing suicide 😭 i love the funny parts in bsd

omg!!! pfft...the idea i have for this one...😅

"Alright, alright," Gojo quit his antics, the stares from other patrons now very obvious. "Our turn." Gojo leaned to his side to grab a medium-sized bag with "Shay" written in fancy, modern lettering. Nanami's eyes widened, the bag unrecognizable so he assumed Gojo got it at another time and not during their mall ventures. "Mine's...naughty in nature - so I'm sorry in advance," Gojo grinned and nodded toward his kohai.

Geto snickered and carefully took the bag, taking out the tissue paper and snagging the box from the bottom of the bag. He was used to Gojo spending his money unwisely for gifts; the man had ultimately limitless resources. However, this time, the price tag was surely unexpected. Geto carefully handled the diamond link necklace, each link heavily decorated with diamonds. He gave Gojo a concerned look as he realized Gojo would never buy anything fake or anything made of cubic zirconium.

"Why would you buy me this?" Geto gave a single, shocked laugh as Gojo claimed the necklace and fastened it around his partner's neck. "I mean...what's so naughty about this?"

Gojo playfully rolled his eyes upward and bit his bottom lip, "you know how much I like having your hair in my face when we..." his voice trailed off. Haibara began giggling, covering his mouth to do so, while Nanami nearly chocked on the piece of chicken he was taking a bite out of. "So why not add something else to the mix?" Gojo inquired quietly, leaning toward Geto and taking a second to lick the shell of his ear.

"You're ridiculous," Geto chuckled and shoved him away. "How much did you manage to pay for this one?" Gojo quickly blushed with the question, knowing how much Geto hated to hear the price tags.

He began coughing, covering his mouth with a closed fist as he looked away, "two seventy," he continued coughing.

"Oh, two hundred and seventy thousand yen?" Geto gave Gojo a weird look. "That's...surprisingly not so bad."

"Yeah, thing is...I wasn't done," Gojo nodded, eyes widening with his smile as he held back laughter, "more like ¥27,457,560." Jaws dropped around the table as he finished. (AN: This is $240,000 or €211,630. The watch from earlier in the story was around $53,000 / €46,735.)

"Satoru!" Geto screamed in a whisper as the two freshmen were completely stunned and frozen. "That's..."

"Because I love you," Gojo finished for him, throwing an arm around his shoulder. "There's nothing or no one else I'd rather spend my money on." Geto quickly blushed.

"I'll never be able to top you, huh?" He asked, handing Gojo a small wrapped box.

"Baby," Gojo sighed with a smile, "money is all I have...you have charm and thoughtfulness. Money can't buy that."

"Please just shut up and open it," Geto pinched the bridge of his nose out of exasperation.

Gojo quickly tore open the box and tore of its lid to reveal a black, silk blindfold (AN: Yes, the one that he uses later in the story. :') )

"I figure you lose almost every pair of glasses during combat, so...why not just cover them more securely," Geto explained as Gojo took off his glasses in exchange for the fold, slipping it down his neck and back up to his eyes with ease.

"Thanks, Suguru!" He exclaimed happily. "This is perfect!" He leaned over and pecked Geto's cheek. "I'll definitely be able to make use of this."

"I'm glad you like it," Geto mumbled, still feeling a bit overwhelmed by his new chain - toying with it in-between his index and thumb.

"Now then, who's ready for strawberry shortcake!" Gojo exclaimed. "There's a bakery down the street, my treat!"

"You've spent enough!" Geto shouted, angrily sitting up in an attempt to tower over his boyfriend. "I'll pay...it's just shortcake." Gojo laughed and allowed it, Geto returning to a more relaxed position.

"This is quite a Christmas," Nanami mumbled to Haibara under his breath, Haibara give a single giggle of agreement. "Let's be wary the next time these two offer to take us out..."

AN: My mind went straight to Suguru gifting Satoru his blindfold for some reason - even though you asked about Satoru. My sad, pathetic satosugu mind went straight to the idea that Suguru gifts Satoru the blindfold, but he refuses to wear it after Suguru betrays the school (but a blindfold is still a good idea) hence the strange bandages. In my mind, Satoru only gives in to wearing the black blindfold after he takes out Suguru because he misses him and its the last bit of innocence he has left of Suguru... :')

Random DCMK Things: If Gosho Boys Were a Boy Band-Saguru’s Profile

As I’ve said in my previous “If Gosho Boys were a Boy Band” blogs, Hakuba would be the leader of the Gosho Boys because out of all the boys, he is the most mature, most calm and most composed. I mean, do you see how prim and proper he is?

As a detective, if you remember the DC episode where Hakuba and Heiji did a detective showdown with other detectives, you would notice that Hakuba’s very organized with coming up with his deductions. Other than that, he is very calm unlike Heiji who’s way more aggressive than he is. Well, this gave me the impression that Hakuba’s personality just screams leader. IDK how I should further explain it.

As a leader, Hakuba would bring order to the chaos Kaito, Shinichi and Heiji, all together are. Out of all the Gosho Boy’s Hakuba seems to be the most behaved. XD

Hakuba is very particular with the managers and the staffs orders, especially during performances. He is very strict about the steps and the blocking during live performances because he doesn’t want to cause trouble to the people behind the set. Hakuba’s a big hater of ad-libs because he disrupts the pre-organized original plans. He often gets into trouble with the other members because they can be really spontaneous with their stage performances, especially Heiji and Kaito. Though the boys could make it work, Hakuba still isn’t a fan of their spur-of-the-moment ad-libs and feels that they could be a bit too much (ESPECIALLY KAITO), to the point of upstaging the other members.

With this being said, Hakuba may come across as a bossy leader, but really, he’s just doing his best and following Manager Haibara’s orders. XD Other than that, Hakuba feels the need to be more authoritative of the boys, given the fact that things could be chaotic with all of them around, together in one room. He’s just doing his duties and he’s so good at it.

As a leader, Hakuba would be like Super Junior’s Leeteuk. They kinda have the same hairstyle too, but that is not the only reason why they could be similar. For those of you who may not know, Super Junior consists of 15 members (Well, used to. Some members already left. T.T). They debuted with 13 members and if you add the two members from their subgroup, Super Junior-M they make up of fifteen. Anyway, Leeteuk, as their leader takes care of all these boys (now, men). And can you imagine just how he could do that? *slow clapping* And with Hakuba and the Gosho Boys, the situation would be just the same. I mean, yeah, they are only four boys but they are four chaotic boys (Hakuba, not so much but Kaito + Heiji +Shinichi? That’s a riot.). Just think about how Hakuba would try to take care of all these guys. I think it would be really interesting. XD

Look at Leeteuk right here? Isn’t he cute? He’s just like staring at the toddler with ease and thinking, “Hey, kid. I take care of 14 boys. So, I could handle you just fine.”

I could imagine Hakuba being like:

“Btch pls. As if Kuroba isn’t enough to drive me insane. You had to add Kudo and Hattori too. But, okay. Yeah. I can do this.” *stretches his limbs*

Hakuba, together with Shinichi would be the one promoting the group internationally. Since Hakuba flies from Japan and England all the time. This is possible. Shinichi on the other hand, would be promoting in America ‘coz he has a lot of connections there. Anyway, Hakuba has a good grasp on the English language and as the leader, he’s mostly assigned to be the one talking a lot during interviews. So, promoting outside the country is also part of his job.

Hakuba would also be the one composing most of the Gosho Boy’s songs together with Shinichi. I’m not quite sure if Hakuba does play some instruments in the canon verse, but yeah I honestly think he does and is good at it. Plus, he is also a Sherlock Holmes fan and he might’ve took lessons in playing the violin because of that. It’s not impossible. Hakuba’s pretty financially stable too. :)

As the leader, Hakuba’s would be a little underrated. Even if he honestly is just as talented as the other boys. In most kpop groups, I feel that a lot of leaders are actually brought out of the spotlight, mostly out shined by the main visual, main vocal, main dancer etc. Usually on photo shoots, the leaders are always on the far end of the side. IDK why. But yeah, even if it is like that, Hakuba would really shine in his own way, without even trying so much because he is great at what he does.

Hakuba would be as much of a great singer as Kaito is. Like if he isn’t the leader, he could be the boy band’s main vocal. (Sorry Kaito. hahahaha). With this being said, Hakuba and Kaito have a subgroup ballad duo because their voice blend together so well.

Hakuba has the least problems with Shinichi and works well with him, especially with playing instruments and composing songs together. They think alike.

Hakuba would often clash with Heiji a lot coz both of them could be really authoritative, but when he’s tired, Heiji usually takes over especially when Kaito and Shinichi are causing a ruckus and Hakuba has basically given up on even giving a fuck with the shit KaiShin is doing. In these cases, Hakuba is really grateful towards Heiji.

Hakuba would most likely be the member to get a lot of endorsement deals from foreign countries. IDK, Hakuba has that model feels. I mean, can we all just admire how fabulous he is?

Hakuba’s very much the most polite among the Gosho Boys. After concerts or stage performances he would never forget to give the audience good bow and a lot of thank yous.

With this being said, when Gosho Boy’s wins an award, Hakuba would have a speech and a long list of people to thank because he is so polite and he gives credit where credit is due.

Hakuba would be a great leader. Even if he is strict he would still have a soft side. He would be deny it a lot but he loves having the boys around and he is as much as a dork as they are.

Hakuba wouldn’t let the Gosho Boys disband ever. As a leader, he strongly holds on to his boys.

Hakuba would be really supportive of the boys in their solo careers and the boys would be the same toward him as well.

Hakuba would also be doing hosting jobs in music shows and variety shows from time to time, because why not?

Hakuba would be featured in a lot of music videos of other artists, because he’s great in acting too.

Fangirls love Hakuba a lot even if he would seem underrated at times.

There would be dating rumors about Aoko and Hakuba because in an interview, Hakuba would openly say that Aoko of the Gosho Girls is his ideal type and that he had a crush on her. But as soon as rumors about them surface, Hakuba would be denying them and confess that he has got over her and is dating Gosho Girl’s Akako. (LOL huhuhu I kinda ship them huhuhu)

Omg! Sorry this took so long! I planned to do this on Hakuba Saguru’s birthday ‘coz he’s an August baby like me, but I got pre-occupied with family gatherings (because my grandfather’s birthday is also in august) and I was also looking for a job that month and other than that, I was also participating in Detective Conan Week 2017, I was also busy writing my KazuHei fics. Plus, the hype over the ShinRan Bomb. In short, I was a busy busy bee and not to mention, insanely distracted. Anyway, I hope you guys liked this series and I hope I gave a lot of love to Hakuba, since @ladygoldstein mentioned that he is pretty underrated. T.T.
