when I was in 8th grade I had the same teacher for physics and geometry and he was like one of those dudes who always wanted to be one of the cool kids but never was so now he got to be the cool teacher that all the cool kids loved so he would like straight up bully the weird kids (me and my friends lol ✌️) and I thought it was wack as hell that a grown ass man was calling my friend, a 13 year old girl, stupid in front of the whole class for asking a fucking question so I constantly told him to back off and would get in full on screaming matches with the man about why he was not allowed to treat us like that (at one point I basically told him that if he ever made my friend cry again I would not rest until his teaching license was revoked lol) and it got to the point where he was like. actually for real beefing with me during class and in the hallways when he saw me and sometimes after school

I’m laying in bed after a long day out with a friend after talking a bit about getter to them and once more at war at myself on *why* arma ryoma is the ryoma to scratch my brain when new is objectively better written then him.

I will always argue and say arma ryoma isn’t a terrible written interpretation of him, there’s a lot from that you can poke at him like with most ryomas but he has clear missed potential and he isn’t he as fleshed out as he could be, especially compared to new. Yet no matter how many times I think about it he still intrigues slightly more.

Is it because what happens to him is most engaging? How with even his absence he goes through some of the most insane shit ever? That you can tell despite what he lacks he’s a fucked man, arguably if not more then the direct trauma his new self goes through? And yet he still gets a decent resolution to his arc?

You ever see some posts that low key imply a character is going to die, so you just try to ignore it. You’re early in the show, some people kill off characters in fan works just because that character almost died and not because they actually died, died. But the amount of content of them being dead is still concerning and now you’re later into the show and you still haven’t even seen anything about this supposed death. As a matter a fact this show has kind of shown it doesn’t make sense for anyone to permanently die. But you haven’t forgotten all those posts you saw about them being dead. So one day out of pure morbidity curiosity you cave and just look it up. And it turns out they do die in the next couple episodes you were going to watch soon.
