Second of all, omfggg thank you so so much 🥹🥹 heart begins was truly a labor of love, and I cannot accurately depict what it means to me when people tell me any of my work has touched them. I appreciate it endlessly.

Regarding recommendations: *slides my fake dating AU across the table like a $3 bill* we're a lie (you and I) was my very first hellcheer long fic (my very first hellcheer fic title belongs to ransom my heart., actually, if you're into two-chapter smutshots). @adickaboutspoons - Writes the most poetic, and I mean, THE most poetic tags. I regularly get exposed to just lovely MASTERPIECES of thoughts, and it's like reading a beautiful fanfiction at the bottom of a gif set. Also, regularly backs Stede up, which is always appreciated because I'm holding him so tenderly in my hands at all times. So she GETS IT <3

@aha-my-villainous-thoughts - Creates some of the most striking art EVER. I've said this before, and I'll say it again; the usage of COLOR knocks my socks clean-off. like lol they're gone where did they go idk i am SOCKLESS OVER SUCH LUMINESCENCE. I feel like I may have seen this meme going around before? Some of these questions strike me as familiar, particularly the 'thoughts on foreign language dialogue?' one, since I'm puzzled as to what this question is asking and I remember being stymied by it before. I think that I want to fill this one out with any answers that have changed since last time and any questions I like to talk about, and skip the questions that don't have interesting answers.

Fic Writer Interview

1. How many works do you have on AO3?

207 as of current!

2. What's your total AO3 word count?

2,939,672. Getting close to the 3million mark there -- possibly, as with Lise's case, this year's MDZS big bang may put me over the top. (If not, that + other current project probably will.)

3. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

Without even looking I'm pretty sure that the top two spaces will be Loki fics and the third will be Ceru's fic, lmao. *checks*

Close! Loki fics take up first, third, and fifth place, and Ceru's fic is in second. However *yakety sax arrangement for guqin and xiao* has crept into the top five, at place 4, making it the first of my Untamed fics to do so. (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧

4. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

Yes, usually. There are some factors that may lead me to not respond including 1) too short or had no content for me to reply to (i.e. a string of emojis), 2) it's on a fic from a fandom I don't really consider myself part of any more, or 3) too negative, such as when people for some reason have chosen to use the comment box as a space to rant about how much they hate a character, oftentimes with little to no connection to what I actually wrote.

On the other hand, I will almost always reply to a comment that poses a direct question, also incl. requests for permission to translate or podfic. I love when people ask questions. It used to be an ongoing source of angst to me when people would leave comments with questions on Fanfic.net, but without any way for me to reply. ╯︿╰

5. What's the fic you've written with the angstiest ending?

Probably Rise From Ash, a downer ending Loki fic where Loki got caught in a timeloop trying to prevent Ragnarok from happening. More recently, probably nostrum. In both cases though the Bad Ending is simply a reversion to canon mean, so it probably could have been worse.

6. What's the fic you've written with the happiest ending?

I do love happy endings! There's usually at least some element of melancholy or bittersweetness, but the ones I'd say are most happiness-loaded with that regard would probably be either One Elegant Solution (which was literally written for the purposes of giving the characters the happiest possible ending) or the coda ending of the refrain series (where I literally spell out at the end what I think the ideal ending for each character would look like.)

7. Do you write crossovers?

Not in the old-school understanding of the term crossovers, where the characters and settings of series A and series B literally meet and interact, but I write a lot of fusions, where characters of series A are placed in setting of series B or are otherwise remixed together. Modern fandom seems to have largely elided the distinction.

8. Have you ever received hate on a fic?

A few times. I'd put these into three buckets: 1) people who didn't like what I was doing with the character/story and told me so, but were civil about it and merely stated they were not going to continue reading; 2) people who write unprompted character hate in my comments, usually unrelated to whatever's going on in the text, which I don't enjoy but don't really take personally; and 3) people actually writing callouts or otherwise putting me 'on blast' for a specific fic. That last one has only happened once (that I know of) and while it wasn't particularly upsetting to me either then or now, it sure was A Trip. This is already a long post, so I won't elaborate here unless someone asks.

9. Do you write smut?

Occasionally. It's one of my less favorite things to write, but I'll do it if the story seems to call for it.

10. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

This rings a very very faint bell, possibly sometime in the aughts I have a vague recollection of encountering one of my own stories on some geocities site under someone else's name, but I don't recall who it was or which fic. Not since then that I know of.

11. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Yes! Enough times that I have lost track of all the specific instances, but I think maybe once or twice a year I'll get a request by someone to do a translation or podfic. I do not recall any instance where I said no, but I do prefer to be asked first.

12. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Yes! With @faux-fires, a Tsubasa Chronicle sci-fi AU, many years ago. Alas the currents of life took us in different directions before we could write the next part.

13. What's your all-time favorite ship?

Don't have an interesting answer for this.

14. What's a WIP that you want to finish but don't think you ever will?

I do have lingering regrets over my abandoned WIPs from Critical Role fandom, Molly's Moving Castle and Fjord Mustang's YEEHAW! Fun and Pony Ranch, both of which fell victim to the march of canon and my eventual departure from the fandom. The latter fic in particular was going to go some wild places.

15. What are your writing strengths?

I think my pacing is excellent, my character voices are usually solid, I can do humor very well and action competently. I can spin a coherent plot and an exciting adventure. I both enjoy and am good at AU worldbuilding and can convey exposition without infodumping, and can do melodrama and angst that packs a solid punch.

16. What are your writing weaknesses?

Mostly those of career fanfic authors everywhere: I'm weak at developing original characters and largely unmotivated to write plots that don't shadow or mirror the original text in some way. I've also noticed a recurring and growing difficulty with romance; I like romance, but when trying to write a romantic story, often fail to move the romance arc convincingly forward. (See also above answer re: smut.)

17. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

Don't have an interesting answer for this.

18. What was the first fandom you wrote for?

Gundam Wing, baby! I feel like there was a bit of a GW revival on tumblr recently? Man, now there was a fandom whose fanon vastly overshadowed its canon.

19. What's a fandom/ship you haven't written for yet but want to?

Fandom - I have a half-written draft for an Encanto fanfic lying around somewhere, if you can believe it; I'd also like to do some ZhanChengXian work, but haven't figured out an approach for it yet. If a romance with two principals is hard for me, imagine how much harder adding a third participant must be!

20. What's your favorite fic you've written?

Not gonna pick one! I like some fics more than others, for various different reasons, but none of them stand out as an All Time Favorite.

my wife, my best friend, the project i will always carry with me, dancing on my own. nothing like dealing with your own issues through the lens of a gamer boy who lives off of mountain dew kickstart and jurassic park movies <3<3

10. What fic made you feel the happiest to work on?

if we keep score was so so so much fun!!!! it really took on a life of its own and i LOVE to worldbuild so even though it was Stressful, i had a good time writing it for sure <3<3<3

28. How did you recharge between fics?

as i told you specifically i literally took like. a work week off. i listened to music, i binge-watched an anime, i went back to work after winter break, i read some of a book. it was great! back to the grind now though <3<3<3

29. If this were an awards show, who would you thank?

i was gonna answer this like a joke but it made me emotional so here are my genuine very real thanks KLNFKNFKLNFKNL

i'd like to thank smosh first and foremost for getting me through what has objectively been one of the most difficult years of my life. the company's been through ups and downs, but so have i, and i find a real genuine comfort in these guys playing board games and making memes so truly thanks so much to them. especially tommy and spencer bc where would i be without them KDNKLSNFK

Did you have a favourite canon character to write? It definitely ended up being Rolan. 4 out of the 5 bg3 fics I wrote were about him lmao

Did you have a favourite OC to write? Juniper, my tiefling bard. She's a mess and she's absolutely so dumb. I adore her.

Which fic was your most popular? Better Judgment, a Rolan/Tav fic that is getting a second chapter soon!

Which fic was your personal favourite? This is so tough. I love all of them! But I guess the best, for me, is Better Judgment. It shows how much of a fool Juniper is and how exasperated, but charmed Rolan is.

Was there anything you wrote that was a surprise to you? Why? Rolan/Dammon's fic, A Divine Dream. I've been so obsessed with my bard and Rolan that I didn't think I was capable of writing another ship with him. I also got to sneak some Karlach/Wyll in that fic too so it was completely self indulgent.

What is your favourite piece of description you wrote? Why do you like it? I'm obsessed with this description of Juniper as she tends to Rolan's wounds in Nights Like This:

No words passed between them as Juniper’s hand hovered near his jaw, the turquoise glow of her healing magic cool and bright. His skin prickled at the sensation, unused to being tended so. She sang quietly as she worked, ocean eyes focused on his injuries. He could feel his muscles mend, his bruises soothed, the pain he’d felt for weeks fade, all gone in nearly an instant. His lungs expanded with his breath and he finally relaxed under her careful ministrations.  Her voice was captivating. He was a fool, Rolan chided himself, to have never sat and listened to her before. His thoughts were always on Baldur’s Gate, on the future he was building for himself and his siblings. Not on the people around him.  Certainly not on the woman who had risked so much for him when she had no cause to. Rolan studied her in the fire’s glow, lavender skin dulled to a grey in the darkness, a particularly nasty scar harsh against her pretty face. It was, in that silent moment, that he noticed freckles dotted her cheeks and nose, dark against her much lighter tone. He didn’t realize he’d done it until his fingers had already brushed against her face, a soft touch that distracted her from her work. Her eyes darted to his, a searing blue that reminded him of the hottest fires that burned in Avernus. Beautiful, dangerous… fires that could kill. That could cleanse.

What was your favourite piece of dialogue you wrote? Why do you like it? This little moment in Long Rest ranks up there with some of my favorite dialogue that I've ever written in a fic. Juniper is such a tease, it's how she shows affection:

“Ah, well, let’s just say that Alfira will be glad to know that I find someone else more bothersome than her.” “I can’t tell if I’m supposed to be flattered or offended.” Juniper released her hold on his arm and immediately missed his warmth. She ran her fingers across the strings of her lute, the sound calming her nerves. “And where do I rank in regards to Cal and Lia?” “Getting closer to the top of the list the more you speak.” A bark of laughter escaped her mouth before she could stop it. “Oh! Was that a joke?”

What was your overall feeling about your writing in 2023? What were you proud of? What were the highlights? I think this has been my best writing year ever. I joined two new fandoms, wrote 200k words, and just felt more comfortable with my writing than I have in a while. I did have a time where I wasn't writing much at all, the block was so bad, but I pushed through and playing Andromeda Six really did jumpstart my creativity again. I'm proud of the fact that I managed to write so much despite feeling like I wasn't doing anything. Most of it came in chaotically inspired bursts, but I'm proud of it.

What would you like to explore more in 2024? I'd liked to explore more of the companions in bg3, particularly Wyll, Astarion, and Lae'zel. Maybe I can even get some Durgetash written finally.

excluding the two above, so far they all have a happy ending, or at least neutral??? i'd say Book Club, though, because that's the massive 'everybody lives!!' silly fixit fic

i'd definitely say dialog. it makes sense, since the stuff i'm most used to doing is drawing silly comics. i also like to ping-pong emotions around and feel like i'm pretty good at that too

using the same words over and over and feeling like i never write Enough, like everything is always light and never in depth. i don't like making scenes too heavy with padding but i also feel like i need to find a balance

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

i'll do it only if it's a language i speak!!! this doesn't apply to peppering words like gege and stuff just for funsies. i think the best way to go about it is to just tell the audience what language they're speaking in that moment

Damn, should've saved the "you know" for this one lol. I translate and scan books and have written a little fanfiction. Among other things...

Had to search this so here's the definition for others: A Kintype that isn't permanent. It seems to "flicker" in and out of existence if you lose interest in that fandom.

Before Guilty Gear I probably did, but I had a hard time in general figuring myself out until relatively recently.

6). When did you realise you were fictionkin? How long have you been in the community.

It'll have been a year in late August. Some of my friends are fictionkin but I wouldn't say I really interact with the wider community at all.

7). What was your introduction to fictionkin?

Lmao... Probably seeing kids talk about it on DeviantArt back in '05 or '06. I've known about it for a long time. Though... I have to admit my views towards it back then used to be negative.... My second "introduction" was in the end of last year when I finally sat down and looked stuff up about it.

8). Are you similar to your fictotype in personality? How so?

That's how this all started. Friends kept making jokes about me being a Sol kinnie even though I was like this BEFORE Guilty Gear and eventually I just went and researched it and, well, here we are. People on sites I'm not open about this on have compared me to Sol before too and I just laugh about it. They don't know, but they know.

9). Are you similar to your fictotype in appearance? How so?

Not really. I guess we both have brown hair that wants to be vertical real bad and I've got a crazy shoulder/waist/hips ratio but that's about it. Oh, default expression like this -> T_T

Jk lmao I ended up searching this term to make sure I was understanding it right because I was going to say "no" to this question but I guess I "dream shift" often and get "phantom shifts" (phantom limb sensations for non-human appendages) sometimes. For the phantom shifts it seems to be for wings the most frequently with claws and meat-tearing teeth less frequently.

The wing feeling is weird, I don't like it. It doesn't feel like the whole wing, just sort of where they would connect to my back but either the rest of the wing never existed or was never formed in a way that had nerve endings, or my brain forgot what the rest of the wing would be like. Usually I only get this feeling right after I wake up and it goes away quickly but sometimes it happens when I'm fully awake. The claws/teeth happen whenever.

I often wonder how related these feelings are to having synesthesia and being trans.

15). How do you deal with kin for fun?

I don't. It can be a little annoying sometimes when trying to find people or studies/essays that are serious about otherkinity, but more often than not the KFF people are just teens goofin off. I don't care. They are, as the name suggests, just doing it for fun and exploring their identities through characters they relate to. Introspection is always good.

16). What are your thoughts on symbols, flags, etc.?

Indifferent. The 7-pointed star's pretty neat though.

17). Does fictionkinity connect to spirituality for you?

No.

It seems so. Like I said in one of the above questions, I used to have a hard time figuring myself out and when I was young I'd try to see things through the lens of a character that I related to. This likely wasn't otherkinity, but I think it maybe evolved into it. There weren't many masculine 6'5" women for me to relate to as a kid, I didn't know how I was supposed to be and gender didn't make any sense. There's definitely a relationship between being trans and otherkin for me.

19). Do other people notice your similarity to a character or species?

It seems so.

20). How do you express your fictotype? Clothes, merch, cosplay, maybe even name?

21). What's something about the fictionkind community you wish was different?

Don't see many essays and stuff from fictionkin as I do from other kinds of 'kin, which is a shame. It's probably because the rest of the otherkin community and the internet in general are unkind towards fictionkin.

Someone's gonna laugh and say I'm just not seeing it, but if there's drama in the GG fictionkind community it never makes its way onto my feed. Hope it stays that way. Leave me out of it.

Best experience: I have 2 experiences that were absolutely wonderful for me. one was when I had maka albarn and patty from soul eater as my muses and I had such a strong connection with the community and still have some of them as friends on facebook and discord. the second was when I had my heather duke muse from heathers! I was so close with that community and I loved every minute as heather duke and try to talk myself out of going back lmao.

RP pet peeves/dealbreakers: only expecting a specific formatting or icon style. personally for me I don't care if my partners format or make/use icons or overly decorate things. I care more about the writing but I have the extra time to work on these extra formatting. competitions!!! I had a maka blog that constantly tried to start drama over who was the 'best', i'm not here for that, i'm here to write and help my own anxiety by being creative. I don't have time for drama.

Muse preference (fluff, angst or smut?): i love fluff and angst. i don't write smut often but am not against it.

how do you even approach shuake in the year 2023. man. your point about the fan community is an extremely fair point to make bc like. like i was saying before SO MUCH of persona fanbase is so warped based on fan perceptions of characters and its like. distill it and wash that away what do you have left (a shit game) (sorry) but like.

okay this hardly needs to be said but obviously the way persona fandom approaches shuake is EXTREMELY yaoibrained. like, the things that the strongest most powerful fujoshi archmages on tumblr are concocting? What on earth. like. and this ties in to awful fan characterization of akechi, lol. i think there really is, to be honest, a particular inherent problem in fan characterization of shuake (aside from the standard) in which you sort of smooth out the edges of akechi and make him more palatable and acceptable to put him in a relationship. fanfic is wish fulfillmnt at its core and i think...its not unreasonable to say a lot of people are projecting onto him and the healing they wish they could have, but its at the expense of his own character. like, people datamined akechi in therapy and then fucking ran with it. im going to say it outright: shuake is a really interesting pairing that i dont see working in any way. but its the same, or similar way that i dont see jonwalt ever working in any way (yes i see your second ask :3) i think its fun to explore but if i see you writing about a domestic life with them im like, lol. Lol.

on that note, im gonna be completely honest, as much as i love marigolds, i think the actual shipping parts of it are boring as hell unnecessary and i do not care about them, and this is a fic that ive repeatedly said has the best p5 characterization and writing ive ever seen and singlehandedly fixes p5 writing lol. the marigolds author expertly crafted a situation in which shuake would work and would be healthy (not perfect, but a lot better) and it genuinely is just like.. i am not invested in this? i am invested in this because of akechi's healing but part of akechis healing is like, talking to people who aren't akira? Lmao? sorry bit of a tangent.

honestly, its kind of impossible for me to think about what it would be like without the p5 fandom. can you imagine playing through the entire game while never seeing a shitty persona 5 meme? well i can honestly say it probably would have occured to me and i'd like it as a ship but it wouldn't be really that significant to me honestly. at the same time my experiences are clouding it! so i really cannot say.

#15. icons

icons are rly fun honestly! i think they have the ability to add a lot of personality to a scene, and sometimes can assist in establishing context or helping to emphasize tone. THAT all said, i don’t find them necessary at all—i’m primarily here to read threads, so icons or no icons, the writing is where my focus remains and my interests lie!! i don’t bypass blogs just bc they go icon-less, in fact its oftentimes the opposite? i love seeing how ppl can use their words alone to paint the entire picture. whichever way someone chooses to express their muse is valid tbh, do what feels comfortable!

#18. fanon interpretations

throw a stone and hit any of my muses, and it's apparent how over-the-top and carried away i get from canon lmao... pkmn is the perf franchise for it too; not only are the settings vast and the thematic concepts plentiful, but there is often a lot of negative space to fill on these muses’ canvases (this seems esp true for most canon characters in the earlier games). i aim for my interpretations to feel realistic (to some degree) so i do keep in mind the little canon i am given... but that’s still more for reference, and not something i strictly abide by. its thrilling how ppl have fun w their muses’ exploits and interpersonal relationships, i’m so here for how muns deviate from canon in order to conceptualize something entirely new.

jasmine, jasmine... i will never forget witnessing her for the first time ;; it was after school, while watching my friend nick play gold before a crowd of like 12 of us (he was that kid that always had new games right when they came out lol his family had it made like that). he was just reaching the jasmine gym battle by the time i walked up. as you can imagine, being an elementary schooler i was not using the internet as it was back then much at all, so leaks etc were not accessible to me (what few leaks existed at the time, that is); same was true for p much everyone else in my grade, so none of us had any idea about the slayage we were in for. we all saw the two magnemite and kinda brushed them off like “lmao that’s cute”, the disappointment was kinda real ngl 💀 but that disappointment didn’t last long whatsoever, bc the second she sent steelix out... the collective gasps in that lunchroom, lemme tell you! it was quite possibly the greatest thing any of us had ever seen in our lives up to that point, so serious when i say lives were changed that day ;;

so then when i finally received the game a couple months later, i was so excited to get to her gym and battle her for myself. i fell more in love going thru the amphy plotline, and the rest was history as they’d say. she was (and still is) a v overlooked character, but writing her is tons of fun c: (as is seeing her get some exposure from pokemas!) srry this was long-winded as HELL-

for the pkmn fandom, my first ever muse was (surprise) misty! this was back on lj, in a community that prob died out in 06 lmao. she was a lot of fun to explore, and became the perf gateway muse before i decided to try exploring diff personalities within the pkmn universe. ive written her since several times, and she’s grown into a more developed muse of mine following that first incarnation for sure. always will have a soft spot in my heart for miss kasumi ♡

My original tumblr blog was dedicated to glee and eventually to manga/anime/comics and then I dipped for a bit and came back to tumblr blah blah blah glee was the start of my tumblr experience but also was the first time I ever actively engaged in a ship war (Which was STUPID i was so STUPID) like before I was a lurker but glee was the first show I openly participated in fandom 

and it’s a dumb show, it’s a bad show, it has some shining moments but lordly it was a mess and I was so invested in Britanna and Klaine at the beginning but by the end I was like they should NOT be together and honestly proud of myself for that it showed ~growth~ I also dropped the show idk mid-s4? Glee was the show that made me learn to drop things and not get caught up in sunk cost fallacy, if you’re not happy watching something, drop it.

THIS FUCKING SHOW this show was my first taste of any fandom ever I was still in elementary school and honestly way to young to be watching this shit but my GOD did I eat this shit up like nom nom nom it was so good hit all the fantasy action points it basically created the template for what I like in media: romance, action, adventure, friendships, fantasy

Kinnporsche 

okay here’s what y’all came here to see lmao Kinnporsche really grabbed my ass and slapped it like wtf I wasn’t expecting to get so invested in this show tbh b/c like I started watching BLs again but the ones I had watched from Thailand hadn’t GRABBED me they all ranged at the time from okay but wouldn’t watch again (Until We Meet Again, 1000 Stars) to boring-dropped it (Fish Upon a Sky, 2gether, Lovely Writer) the ones I had liked were mostly Korean and Taiwanese offerings (HiStory Trapped, Love is Science, We Best Love (seasons 1 AND 2 fight me), Be Loved: In House, You Make Me Dance, the one Korean assassin one). 

So like, I saw the trailer for KP and was like, oh that looks different and interesting from other Thai BL and then I saw it was canceled and was confuse. Then I saw it was un-cancelled and was MORE confused I was like is this show coming out or nah? But it was and I was like, sure why not? And I had just restarted using tumblr again and then the show started and the first episode HIT SO HARD and I was like “omg actual cinematography, actual camera framing, actual directing, actual locations, actual physical movement of the cast and the story, a larger story at play, COSTUMES” bitch I was hooked and I’m probably bias but KP is still the best conceptually executed Thai BL imo like sometimes I see posts about the cinematography of other Thai BL and it’s just pictures of two chars standing in a mid-lit room and I’m just like, god I’m a snobby ass bitch lemme leave lol 

KP isn’t perfect, there are issues with the plot at times, but like, there’s issues with the plot! Not the sound (rip LITA I still love you), or the lighting, or the editing, or the direction. The secondary cast actually feels like a cast rather than extras to fill out the cast or pad for time there’s like next to no filler in the show which is such a rarity (imo) for Thai BL. 

Love Between Devil and Fairy 

To me this show was peak fantasy epic romance I just love it to pieces, the costumes are to die for I wish America made more epic romances like this that really embrace fantasy, romance, and action one thing I really love about C-Dramas is they embrace romance with a certain sincerity that is missing from American dramas and I think it’s a shame 

I’m cheating that’s all I got in me I don’t watch a ton of TV shows and the ones I do I’m picky about so it’s hard to pick like a top anything lol but I think these ones describe me pretty well so

18. what is your most and least favorite part of writing?

...this is surprisingly hard to answer. Sometimes I think the answer to both is just 'yes'. lmao

Okay, I think there are two 'mosts' tbh - one is just when you find your way into the zone and then suddenly you're writing a mile a minute and just dropping the most beautiful syntax onto the page and then you look back afterwards and go 'shit I wrote that' (which is often followed by why can't the rest be that easy), it's a great high. The other is when you share your work and get to see people flail at you in the comments, or scream, or just drop you these delicious dot point essays/parts they found nice and it feels all worth it? Reader interaction definitely a fave.

The least favourite part has rapidly become connective tissue >:| I want to get to this scene here but time has to pass and things have to happen and the scene has to logically make sense and before you know it you've got five chapters of just. scenes happening to edge you along and you're wondering why everyone isn't bored yet and left because you haven't got to the good part. The answer is generally that a lot of people like connective tissue, but you don't really see it as the author. But I often get stuck in 'am I bloating this too much, is it too much padding, HELP THE GIRLS ARE TALKINNNGG' and thus I am always, always paranoid about this. Alas, stories can't just be jumping from high to high, because that's also lousy storytelling. (I suspect I would be better at this part if I hadn't taken, say, a 15 year writing break. Perhaps I will improve with time as I remember how to do this shit.)

40. best piece of feedback you’ve ever gotten.

Are we talking in terms of concrit or just general response to fic? Because I have...very little to choose from in the first and too much to choose from in the second. Honestly in terms of concrit I would have to point at my various betas (you being one of them) as helping me to streamline things and tweak characterisation (case in point: when I'd spent too much time in Donnie!mindset that April sounded way off lmao) and general encouragement that it is not as bad as I fear.

In terms of general feedback...hoo boy. I have gotten some amazing feedback across my fandoms, I cannot choose one. The 700 word essays one reviewer keeps leaving me on Snowblind that dissect my writing on the way through and highlight themes. @wrexie leaving me such amazing reviews on Zaibatsu Project and gifting me sketches in her last one. Every time someone tells me what all their favourite lines were. Or makes hilarious jokes. Or leaves gifs. Or just keysmashes. It is very easy to make me happy in this regard lmao.

94. do you prefer dialogue or description?

Actually an either/or situation. Dialogue is a lot of fun and I love banter. OTOH you can get really visceral with the right description and I really enjoy that. I cannot choose between these, I like it all. |D

yknow the portrayal of kris in fanworks. theyre bright. even tho you need to look into the flavor text a lot to get who they actually are behind the vessel situation, kris in fanart and fanfiction is colourful. theyre silly, theyre serious, theyre menacing, theyre Gender, theyre complex, theyre kind and flawed and beautiful fuckin stunnin in a way.
