Part II | Part III | Part IV
Tumblr media Tumblr media
When your father, Eris Denaron, told you that you were to accompany him to King's Landing you were excited at first, until you remembered what the princes were like when you were little; obnoxious and sometimes unbearable to be be around. You hoped they had matured since you saw them last, but one thing can be said about boys is that they take far too long to grow up.
"I need you to be on your best behaviour while we're in their company, Elisa." Said her father. "These are sensitive talks, and the last thing we need is another incident like the last time you were there."
"That was 9 years ago, father. I choose my battles far more carefully now than you give me credit for."
"That doesn't mean your temper has calmed." He sighed. "You are too much like your mother."
"I won't cause any trouble, you have my word."
His stern face gave away very little, but you could tell your words gave him some reassurance.
"I must make my way to the council chambers. Pay a visit to your cousins, make small talk. With any luck, by the end of this, I will have organised a betrothal."
He left swiftly, his navy velvet cloak trailing behind him.
She walked to the window and took a deep breath as she stared out over King's Landing, her long white-blonde locks dancing gently in the warm breeze. She considered wondering the castle she hadn't seen in nearly a decade, but then her eye fell on the training yard, and they gleamed with intrigue.
Tumblr media
A small crowd had gathered around the centre of the yard, and two men fought swiftly with each other. One of the men she recognised as Ser Criston, head of the King's guard, and the other had long silver locks but she was unsure if it was Aegon or Aemond as she hadn't seen either since they were children.
The fighting lasted a while and Elisa weaved her way through the crowd until she came to the front. When she saw the eyepatch she immediately recognised the silver haired man as Prince Aemond. She was surprised, he seemed different from when they were children, he used to be far more quiet, shy almost, but now he fought with such confidence and grace he almost seemed like a different person.
He had grown quite handsome since last they met, tall too. A far cry from the little prince she remembered.
Tumblr media
With only one more swift motion Aemond had Ser Criston defeated, sword to his throat as he stood tall and proud, barely out of breath. The crowd applauded and muttered amongst themselves as they began to slowly disperse.
He had spotted Elisa from across the yard and walked over.
"Lady Denaron." He acknowledged.
"Prince Aemond." She curtsied. "Are you up for another challenger?"
His eyes narrowed slightly in intrigue and he smirked as he gestured for ser Criston to give her his sword.
"I never refuse a challenge."
Ser Criston hesitated but obliged and handed you his broadsword, stepping back to give you enough room to fight.
She had learned the skill of the sword against her father's wishes but with her 3 elder brothers, she was damned if she had to sit out and instead learn some nonsense such as embroidery. She needed to fight and had become quite good at it. She was confident.
She held fast, she saw the prince's agility in his fight with ser Criston and knew he would be quick, and just as that thought entered her mind, he swung his blade.
She parried, gauging the force of the blow to figure out his strength. He was holding back, and that insulted her.
She returned with four forceful strikes, one high, two mid and one hard hit from the side, Aemond dodging or parrying every single one.
They circled each other for a moment and she touched her blade to his, staring him down.
"If you hold back any longer I'll cut off your hands."
"I would gain much enjoyment in seeing you try."
In a swift, fluid motion she flicked her sword and caught his jacket, leaving a long cut horizontally across the sleeve and she saw his eye flicker with flame.
Some of the crowd had returned and gathered around once again, watching intently as they had never seen the prince fight a woman skilled with the sword before.
He brought his sword down on her from above, then the side and she dodged, almost not fast enough for the second blow. He wasn't holding back anymore.
He came at her again and again and she jabbed, almost getting him but he still managed to block it.
This dance continued for only a few more minutes before Aemond sent her sword flying and placed his blade to her throat.
The crowd applauded once again.
He was trying to hide it but he was out of breath a little and she smiled knowingly, briefly glancing down at his blade.
"You've grown quite skilled."
"As have you." He replied.
His eye lingered on her for an extra moment before lowering his sword. She had grown quite beautiful since last they met and he couldn't help but notice, but he turned away and sheathed his blade as the last of the crowd left.
"I will see you tomorrow for more training." Said Ser Criston, taking his sword back from Elisa as she held it out for him, nodding politely to her.
"I believe you mean another defeat." Aemond retorted with a smirk.
Sir Criston scoffed as he sheathed his blade and walked away, leaving Elisa and the prince alone in the training yard.
"Where did you learn the blade?" He asked, reaching for a chalice from a servant boy who arrived with a small decanter filled with wine.
"My teacher is head of our guard, much like yours. He's taught me since I was nine."
"You were lucky to find a teacher willing to instruct a woman."
"Maybe so." She replied, then smiled. "I kept you on your toes though."
He looked at you sideways as he sipped his wine, and you saw the corner of his mouth curl.
"Maybe so." He replied.
"Elisana!" Came her father's voice from the top of the stairs.
Aemond noticed her smile twist into contempt as Lord Eris walked down and stopped in front of his daughter.
"I told you to behave yourself and the first thing you do is pick up a sword?"
"I wasn't aware having fun counted as misbehaving."
"I apologise for my daughter Prince Aemond, she has an untamable fire, not unlike her mother's." There was a condescending tone in his words that made her want to take the prince's sword and show him what a true opponent really was but restrained herself.
"There is no apology necessary Lord Denaron, I always welcome new apponants."
"I appreciate your understanding my Prince but there are better opponents than a woman."
Those words began to grow the same contempt from Elisana within Aemond and he took another sip of wine.
"Come Elisana."
She bit the inside of her lip to stop herself from arguing with her father in front of the prince and curtsied politely. Aemond bowed his head in return before she was ushered away.
When they were out of sight and earshot of the the prince, her father turned and struck her across the face.
"How many times must I remind you of your place!" He hissed. "If I see a sword in your hand again I will use it on you, do you understand!"
She looked up at her father with a hatred that could not be measured as she held a hand to her face. "You have my word." She growled and her father stormed down the hallway, leaving her to hold back tears and try to gather herself before anyone could see her.
Tumblr media
That night at dinner she was seated next to Helaena who was a pleasant change of company from her husband Aegon who was drunkenly speaking obscenities on her opposite side.
"Are you really a Denaron Lady Elisana?" He asked. "You don't have the colourings of one."
Aemond noticed her tense at the question as he had been watching her.
"My mother was blonde." She replied. "I take after her."
"Is that so?" Aegon swirled the wine in his cup as he looked her over. "Anyone would think you were a Targaryen with that hair."
"I wouldn't be so bold as to say so your highness."
"I like it!" Beamed Helaena. "It makes us look like sisters."
Elisa smiled at her, she had always gotten along with Helaena and had occasionally sent letters by raven since they were children. She was the only one who she had kept in contact with in the nine years since she was last in King's Landing.
"That is true." Said Alicent with a soft smile.
"Is it also true that you were caught fighting my brother in the training yard?" Helaena excitedly asked, a little tipsy from the wine she had been drinking.
"I had him on his toes the whole time." She whispered cheekily in reply.
Helaena giggled and Elisa smiled, she had always loved Helaena's strangeness. She was one of the few friends she had and she loved her dearly.
She didn't see Aemond's fond gaze from across the table as she laughed with his sister. He rarely saw her laughing like that, she was mostly quiet and a little withdrawn, especially when she was around Aegon.
Alicent also noticed her daughter laughing and smiled at seeing her so happy.
Tumblr media
"Tell me, Lady Elisana, is it true you managed to give Aemond a challenge this afternoon in the training yard?" Asked Jacerys, gleefully leaping at the chance to mock his uncle.
"Is that how your shirt got damaged?" Lucerys snickered.
Elisa pursed her lips to attempt to hide her smile, knowing her father was glaring at her from the other end of the table.
"Perhaps one day you may give even a fraction of a challenge." Aemond retorted, retaining his usual expression, but she could see him clench his jaw, his eyes fixed despisingly on the brothers.
"Aemond." Said Alicent, giving a warning look from her place beside Rhaenyra, who gave the same look to her sons.
Jace and Luke cut it out but still exchanged glances at each other with stifled laughs.
"It is refreshing to see a woman with such skill with a blade." Said Rhaenyra. "I would like to see you fight while you're here."
"Perhaps not." Said Lord Eris, attempting to remain civil in the company of the Queen. "I'm sure there are more productive things for a woman to do than fight."
The air in the room immediately changed and the distain for Eris' comment was felt my most of the people in the room. Rhaenyra's expression said all it needed to as she shot a spiteful glance in his direction.
"If a woman can birth a child she can wield a sword." She said. "A wound from a blade is nothing compared to the pain of labors."
Elisana glanced nervously at Rhaenyra and then her father. She could feel his anger begin to rise and although she revelled in Rhaenyra's comment she knew she would be the one to take the repercussions of it later.
"Then why bother with it?" He replied.
"Father, please." Elisana pleaded quietly.
Aemond saw her face during this interaction and saw her anger towards her father and also her fear.
"Would you rather a woman die than be able to protect herself and her children?" Rhaenyra continued, snapping at him once again.
Elisa sat forward, a hand on the table. "Princess, let us change the subject."
Rhaenyra turned her head to her and saw her fear of her father and became even more enraged but stayed her comments.
"I think that's enough talk of this for one night." Said Alicent, standing up and smoothing out her skirts. "I shall retire to my chambers and I suggest you do the same, tomorrow's talks will be of great length."
"Of course, my Queen." Said Lord Eris almost behind gritted teeth.
A look of laboured relief appeared on Elisa's face and once the Queen had left she stood up and curtsied. "Excuse me." She said before leaving.
Tumblr media
That night, Elisa sat in her chambers, worried that her father would burst in and set another 'example' and she was therefore unable to fully rest. She hadn't even yet changed into her night gown.
Her father always hated her for being a girl. He got his three heirs and had no need for her other than to wed her off in exchange for powerful connections.
Anger swelled in her gut day by day as she lived with him and she kept it down as best she could but one day she knew she would not be able to hold back and may kill the man without a thought of hesitation.
As she sat beside the fire, swirling a strand of silver hair around her finger there was a knock at the door and every muscle in her tensed. Though she realised her father wouldn't bother to knock and she turned to the door before getting up.
She opened it to reveal Aemond wearing a long black cloak with the hood up to hide his hair.
"Would you like an adventure?" He asked quietly, giving her playful smirk, one she hadn't seen since they were children.
He held up another cloak and Elisa smiled and put it on, looking both ways down the hall before they snuck out of the castle.

Always dragons💌
Pairing: Charlie Weasley xfem!healer!reader
Fluff/angst
Summary: Charlie introduced his girlfriend to his family and they don’t seem to like her very much.
Warnings: swear words; mentions of age gap and injuries; let me know if there is more
A/N: Requested by: anonymous. As always feedback is welcomed! <3 I hope you like it and I’m sorry again that it took me so long to write this.
Tumblr media
Charlie loved his family. He really did. His brothers, sister and parents but he knew that they are a bit much sometimes. When he announced he wanted to work with dragons they went feral, having been told that working in romania with a bunch of dragons isn’t a right job and how dangerous it’a gonna be. Alas Charlie went anyway and he had never made such a good decision.
When he started working and taking care of the dragons Charlie often got injured and sent to see a healer, though it seems that he always went to you. Maybe it was because Charlie thinks you’re just too pretty not to go to. You didn’t mind of coure, frankly how could you? He was tall, handsome, muscular and not to mention good at talking. So it wasn’t really a surprise from anyone at the reserve when you both announced you were dating and you got support from everyone, even the dragons, mind you.
Since you started knowing each other, Charlie’s letters to Bill always contained at least a sentence about you and Bill’s letters always said something like ‘Charlie you are smitten’. When Charlie was asked by his mother to come home for christmas he saw this as the perfect opportunity to take you with him and meet the Weasley clan. So he wrote back to his mother, saying he will bring someone with him and Molly was overjoyed that Charlie has finally got himself a girlfriend.
When you first arrived at the burrow you were welcomed with the smell of fresh cooked food. The house was tall and seemed to be only stabled with magic - which it probably was. Molly took you in her arms and the twins, as crazy as it sounds - poked you at first. When you regarded them with an questioning glance they just answered with an ‘we thought you’ ‘were a dragon’. You just let it go. Arthur was nice, though a little muggle obsessed but it suits him. Percy wasn’t there and you knew Bill already from school. You helped him out sometimes. Ron was kind but closed off with his friends. He was cute, he always stuttered when you talked to him the same shy way Charlie did at first. It was sweet really. Harry Potter, Ron’s best friend, was really kind to you and blushed a lot, maybe it was because they were so young?
Ginny was probably the person who distrusted and disliked you the most. She said awful things about you with Hermione and even though Mrs. Weasley defended you, you could see the way she wasn’t overly fond of you either. You didn’t know what you did wrong, you were kind to them and thanked them for the hospitality.
Maybe it was the age gap between you and Charlie. It wasn’t big really but you were still five years older than him. It was unnatural for women to be older than men in relationships. But it was great for you and Charlie and worked out pretty well.
The final pull was when you heard them talking about you with Molly. Fleur got there the day before and you got along really well. So when you both were talking and heard them calling you a cougar and saying you were in search for a child it was enough for you. It wasn’t okay of them to call you such things. Charlie was, one, not the richest person that exists and two, he was definitely to old to be a child. Although you could think sometimes he didn’t grow with his brain in the way he talks to his dragons but that’s beside the point.
Fleur told you that they said similar things to her when they met her because she was a Veela and frensh and god knows what but it still annoyed you. Oh boy, and Charlie noticed that you were annoyed, you were acting the sameas before but he couldn’t help but notice the way your smile vanished as soon as it came or how tight lipped you were sitting there. So when you got back to romania he confronted you.
“What’s wrong with you?” He asked as soon as your shoes were seated on the floor. “Nothing.” It was short and definitely not convincing but you didn’t care. “Tell me what’s wrong? You’ve been acting like that for a while.” He practically insisted an answer.
“I think we should break up.” You finally said, no, shouted. He faltered, his face fell and you wished you hadn’t said anything at all. The sight before yoh broke you, he looked like a puppy that just got kicked. “What? No! Why would you say that?” His voice was hard.
“I’m not right for you. You should be spending your life with someone your family likes. Someone who wasn’t already finished with her healer exams when you were startung your OWLs. Someone better.” Your answer softened him. “Why would you say that? You’re right for me, who would take care of me if you weren’t there? And my family can be a bit much but they will learn how to adore you. And even if they wouldn’t, I won’t care what they have to say to me. And our age difference doesn’t matter to me, I thought you knew that.” He spoke so fast you thought a lightning stroke him. “And there’s no better one for me.” It was his final answer and then he took you in his arms. Swaying you from left to right and back, he took your hand in his and danced with you. Maybe it seemed wrong or confused to others as to why you would dance now but that always calmed you. And when you put your head on his chest, hearing his heartbeat, you knew everything is going to be alright.
“And anyway, my real family is here in romania. And they do adore you, the dragons.” Typical Charlie Weasley. Always dragons.

Part 1 | Part II | Part III
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Araxi glared at Elisa as she towered over her, almost thirty feet in length, her young and not yet battle-hardened scales gleaming.
Elisa was in awe but terrified as she could tell by Araxi's body language that she was not happy she was there.
She began to slowly crawl backwards in the hopes of a chance of getting away but the glow appearing in the beast's throat burned those hopes to ashes.
Araxi opened her powerful jaws wide and just as the glow became blinding, Elisa held up her hand.
"Dohaeris!!" She yelled.
Araxi hesitated.
"Dohaeris Araxi!"
Araxi let out a roar so loud she knew it would have woken almost the entire palace and she winced from the sheer volume. She didn't know what the word meant but she remembered Jaecerys saying it to his dragon when they were children.
She pulled herself to her feet as she kept her hand raised in front of her, Araxi closed her jaw, hesitant but still restless.
"Dohaeris!!"
Something had changed in Araxi's eye, the malevolence had dissipated, although the danger was still present.
Aemond appeared at the mouth of the cave where they stood and his eye grew wide as he saw what was happening. He went to run forward and help her until he realised what was going on.
Araxi leant her huge head down and looked closely at Elisa, staring into her eyes. She snorted, the air almost pushing Elisa backwards.
Tumblr media
"Dohaeris." She said once more, but it had been done.
Araxi had calmed.
"Elisa." Said Aemond.
The dragon looked up and scowled slightly and Elisa turned.
Aemond walked up to her as Araxi receded back into the depths of the cave and she embraced him. He held her earnestly as he thought on all of what had just happened, comforting her as she cried into his shoulder.
Tumblr media
Just as soon as they returned to her chambers, they had been summoned. The dragonkeepers had informed the Queen of what had just transpired, and everyone had been called to gather.
Elisa walked hesitantly towards the council chambers, Aemond's hand resting reassuringly on her lower back. She knew what she had done and she knew the consequences would be dire. She feared being banished, never to see Aemond or Haelena again, she feared her father's wrath.
Aemond removed his hand as the doors opened for them and the others were already waiting, including Aegon who sat beside his mother with a swollen eye and cut lip.
She felt herself shrink as all heads turned towards her when she entered. Her father stood restlessly by the fire and he turned to her with an anger he had not seen before.
"You useless cunt of a girl!!" He yelled, storming toward her, but Aemond drew his blade and pointed it at him before he could step any closer.
Lord Eris stopped and glared at Aemond, knowing he was no match for him in a fight.
"Enough!" Alicent exclaimed. "Lord Eris, sit down! And Aemond, put that sword away or gods help you."
Aemond kept his blade at eye level, making lord Eris back down first, only then did he sheathe his sword.
"What's the matter?" Asked Rhaenyra, as she stood holding he pregnant belly, her hand in her husbands'.
Alicent didn't know how to start.
"The dragonkeepers sent word to me a short while ago, that they had seen the Lady Elisana in the dragon dungeons tonight, and that she had-" she hesitated. "Tamed Araxi."
Everyone's expressions shifted immediately.
"What?" Blurted Aegon.
"But only one of dragon blood can tame a dragon." Said Lucerys.
Everyone's eyes looked to Elisa again and she could hardly look any of them in the eye.
"Do the keepers speak the truth?"
"They have served this family for generations, I trust their word." Alicent replied.
"But then-" Said Jace.
"This is rubbish!" Declared Lord Eris. "My daughter has no Targaryen blood! Yes she has the colourings of a Targaryen but only from her mother who was a true-blood Lannister."
"Well she must or what has just happened should never have transpired." Added Rhaenyra.
"Elisa." Said Alicent, looking at her searchingly.
Elisa looked up at her, nearly quivering with fear at what was possibly to transpire.
"Who is your father?"
Elisa's heart beat faster by the moment and she tried so hard to keep her composure.
"Lord Eris Denaron, your grace."
"No." Said Alicent, her gaze even stronger now, holding Elisa in place. "Who is your real father."
"Your grace I-"
"Speak girl!" Said Daemon, sitting beside his wife. It was the first she had heard him speak since he arrived back in King's Landing.
Her eyes quivered slightly with tears, having still not had time to process her emotions from the events of the night. She promised she would tell no one.
"My father-" Every possible consequence for the words she was about to speak bolted through her mind and she saw no way out of this, no matter how hard she thought.
"My father...is Prince Daemon Targaryen." She revealed, almost at a stutter.
Their eyes, now widened, looked to Daemon, who seemed only somewhat less surprised than the others.
Rhaenyra let go of his hand as she processed the information but Lord Eris began laughing.
"Of course." He chuckled. "I knew that whore had a lover. And of course it was a fucking Targaryen!"
"Take care with your words Lord Eris!" Rhaenyra snapped.
"My mother told me of my real father as she lay dying. She must have intended to die with her secret but she was so feverish in her last moments, I-"
"Explain yourself Daemon." Said Alicent with an exasperated sigh.
Rhaenyra looked to him, also wishing for an answer.
"I visited Lord Eris' territories for a peace treaty many years ago. I bed Lady Lyara Denaron. She fell pregnant soon after, though I had no way of knowing if the child was mine...until I heard of her colouring."
"So you knew?" She asked.
He hesitated. "Yes."
"Gods be good!"
Tumblr media
"What were you doing in the dragon dungeons in the first place?" Asked Lord Hightower, only now taking part in the conversation.
It was then she began to panic even more and she thought her heart would burst from her chest is was beating so fast. She couldn't tell thr Queen her son had tried to take her forcefully so soon after discovering the truth of her heritage.
"I-"
"We were training." Said Aemond.
Lord Eris' hateful gaze continued. "Training?"
"She wished to learn and so I was instructing her. She left early and came across Aegon."
Elisa looked to him and shook her head just slightly enough for the others not to see but he saw, he also saw the pleading look of fear in her eyes, but he knew his mother would believe him.
"He forced himself on her and she ran when I pulled him away. When I caught up with her she was face to face with the dragon. What the keepers said is true."
Alicent's face dropped in disappointment. She knew what Aemond said of Aegon was true, and so did everyone else.
"I promise you, your Grace, I did not tame Araxi on purpose. I only used a word I had heard Jacerys use on his dragon when we were children, I don't know what it means."
"I believe you." She replied.
"Please have mercy my Queen, I'm begging of you. If you wish to banish me, I will leave. If you wish me to serve you until my dying day, I will do so without argument."
Alicent's eyes flashed with pity at the girls words. She knew there was only one solution, but it would not go down easily with the council. As a mother, she couldn't bare to think of how Helaena would react if she could no longer see her childhood friend.
"Prince Daemon." She said. "Would you be willing to accept the Lady Elisana as your child and give them the name of Targaryen?"
The shock rippled from face to face.
"Your grace!" Exclaimed Lord Eris.
Daemon looked to his wife, the mother of his four children, two already were not her own, yet she mothered them as if they were.
Pushing aside her feelings of her husband's past discretions, she took his hand and gave him a look of assurance.
"I would." He said.
"Then I hereby declare Lady Elisana as your true blood, and her name now Lady Elisana Targaryen. Her ties with house Denaron are now forfeit and she may inherit no titles."
Elisa stood in the room feeling such overwhelming waves of emotion she couldn't think or say anything. Tears still flickered in her eyes but now for vastly different reasons.
"Take her." Spat Lord Eris. "I have no need of another whore in my family."
"I would also like to declare a betrothal." Queen Alicent added, ignoring him. "Of Lady Elisana Targaryen and my second son, Prince Aemond Targaryen."
Tumblr media
The profound nature of these declarations were not taken lightly and were felt by everyone in the room.
Elisa's breath hitched at the second announcement and it felt as if the world was spinning. She didn't know how to react to any of this. She expected banishment, not a change of name and a betrothal, and not to the Queen's own son.
She turned to Aemond and he took her hand and kissed it, still as shocked as she was, though he hid it well.
"My lady." He said.
She squeezed his hand and looked back to the Queen.
"Your grace I- I have no words."
"Your heritage is no fault of yours, nor the taming of Araxi. Your discretions are of no consequence now that the truth of your bloodline is known. You are to live here in King's Landing as your new name requires of you."
She knew. Alicent knew she wanted to stay. She knew Lord Eris's temper, and she knew Elisa's feelings toward her son. She knew it all.

Part I | Part III | Part IV
Tumblr media Tumblr media
She followed Aemond through back passageways they used as children to evade their parents, corner after corner, covertly weaving through darkness and dim torchlight.
They reached a room that was so dark she could barely see but she did see Aemond open a door she had never known was there.
"We're leaving the castle?" She whispered.
"Are you afraid?" He asked, sounding almost like a challenge.
She smiled a little. "No."
He smirked and let her go through first, closing the door quietly behind them.
They travelled through more dark passageways until, through the final door, she saw the whole of King's Landing, still alive despite the hour.
The warm torch lights that scattered the city glowed brightly beneath the cool moon that shone above and Elisa continued to follow Aemond to their unknown destination. At first the thought he was raking her into town, which made her a little nervous, but when they turned yet another corner she eased a little.
There was a small wooden door on the outside of the castle walls that she realised lead into one of the towers. She followed him through the door and up the spiral staircase until they came to the very top of the tower.
It was a large, flat area that stood overlooking almost a 360° view of the city.
It was then that Aemond took off his cloak to reveal he had two swords, and he threw one to her.
She caught it, it snapping her out of her awe of the view.
Tumblr media
Aemond drew his sword, and she hesitated, a little confused.
As she unsheathed it he came at her, three strong strikes in succession, she blocked every one.
"Good." He said. "But it could be better. Again."
They copied the same strikes and she dealt a lot better now that she was prepared.
She unclasped her cloak and it fell to the ground.
"Attack me."
She used the same three strikes against him.
"Bend your knees, you're as stiff as a dead goat. Again!"
She struck him again, this time following his instruction, despite his comments.
They stood, swords together, the moonlight gleaming off of the polished blades.
"Good." He said, that signature smirk on his face. "Now, parry."
He moved to strike, but she diverted his blade away from her and quickly turned to face him.
"Why are you doing this?" She asked him, sword still raised.
He struck her twice more.
"You want to fight?" He said.
She nodded.
"Then I'll help you."
"But why?"
"Because, woman or not, everyone deserves to fight."
A glint of admiration flickered in her eyes as they stood above the city. He truly had grown up.
They copied the same moves at least another four times before moving onto a new set, and then another, and then another, until the sun had begun to rise above the ocean.

She was so tired the next morning that she could barely stay awake while playing with Helaena and her children.
"You look exhausted." Helaena noted.
"I couldn't sleep last night."
"You need to tame the beast."
She had no idea what she was talking about, as with a lot of things Helaena says, but she appreciated the sentiment, too tired to try to make sense of it.
"Are you really ok?" She asked.
Elisa's eyes dropped to the floor and she handed Maelor another wooden block for the little tower he was building.
"My father is...difficult." Elisa sighed. "Hopefully there'll be some miracle and I'll be rid of him."
"You could come and live with us here in the palace?"
"I would greatly like to be able to spend more time with you." She smiled. "But I'm not sure my father would agree to it."
"It's worth the ask."
"I'm not sure I can ask him anything after yesterday. I fear his temper is still too high."
Helaena placed a hand on yours and smiled warmly. "You can stay here as long as you like."
Elisa held her hand. "I don't know what I would do without your friendship, Helaena."

It was slowly approaching sunset when she decided to sit in the gardens for a while. Her head was full of decisions and questions, and she needed some peace.
The sun was warn on her back and it calmed her immensely. This type of sun wasn't common back home and she wanted to make the most of it.
She thought of last night and the training she did. It was draining. She didn't know if she could do that again and be able to remain conscious the next day. She did, however, find herself wishing to spend more time with Prince Aemond.
He was a man of few words if he didn't have anything of worth to say, but he was one of few people she felt comfortable around despite his sometimes cold exterior. After last night, she supposed it was because she knew now that he was on her side, and his willingness to help her train gave her a new admiration for him.
Then her mind began to wander to his gracefulness with the blade and his piercing eye that could reach down to the farthest reaches of her soul if she let him. That eye of a beautiful sea foam green
She shifted where she sat and snapped herself out of it. She couldn't let herself entertain such thoughts.
Suddenly, she heard a bereft groan from behind her. She spun around in her seat and saw Aegon stirring in the bushes, clearly having just woken up from a drunken sleep.
"Aegon, what on earth are you doing here?"
"Oh, Elisa." He winced, shielding his eyes from the sunlight. "I may have had one too many pints."
"My name is Lady Elisana. Go and find your mother before she sends the guards out looking for you."
He propped himself up on one elbow. "You want to be rid of me so soon?"
She rolled her eyes and turned back around.
He stumbled to his feet and brushed the leaves from his tunic. "You could have been with me last night." He jeered, leaning toward her.
"I could also have been puking in my chambers, which would have been vastly more interesting."
"When did you become such a brick?" He replied. "You used to giggle at my advances."
"I grew up and realised that you're vile."
"You wouldn't think so if you sucked my cock."
"I would rather cut off my head than give you any." She scorned.
"My idiot brother annoying you Elisa?" Came Aemond's voice from beside them.
She didn't hear his footsteps at all.
Tumblr media
"Oh look, it's the twat." Aegon groaned.
Elisa stood up, intending to leave, her peace clearly disturbed.
"Why don't you loosen up and we can take her together, hm?" Aegon continued. "She seems like the type to enjoy that."
Her face changed immediately at that comment and she back-handed him across the face, hard.
He grabbed her arm, but almost immediately, a blade appeared at Aegon's throat.
With a pause and a smile of contempt, he let go of her and Aemond stepped forward, pushing Aegon back with the tip of his sword.
"Fuck. Off." He said. Slow and raspy, like a snarl.
Aegon glared at his brother and glanced back at Elisa briefly before accepting defeat and sauntering away.
Aemond put away his sword and turned to her. "Are you alright?"
"Fine." She replied, both greatful and annoyed that he intervened. She wanted to do a lot more to Aegon that just slap him. "Your brothers a cunt."
He chuckled, not having heard such words from her before. "Yes he is."
"Next time I'll stab him in the neck and save you the trouble."
"I look forward to it." He smirked.
Elisa chuckled, seeing his expression. "You find me amusing?"
"I find your fire refreshing."
She felt herself blush slightly and brushed some dirt from her skirts in the hopes that he wouldn't notice. "My father would say otherwise."
"Your fathers a cunt."
She laughed. Aemond smiled at the sound, he hadn't heard it in a long time.
"You know, I have fond memories of our childhood, despite you boys being so obnoxious."
"Like the time you filled my boots with mud?"
"You remember that?"
"Mm." He replied.
"The mud was Aegon's idea, I only did it because he didn't have the balls."
Aemond huffed amusedly.
Across the garden, Alicent sat with her daughter as they embroidered and heard Elisa's laugh from a length away. She looked up and was just out of earshot of the conversation, but she saw the way they smiled at each other as they talked and she watched with an expression that could only be described as contentment. She rememebred how he looked at the Lady Elisa at dinner the night before and couldn't help but smile.

Summary: A well known singer in Westeros arrives at the palace to perform for a great banquet and her voice, beauty and mysterious past immediately bewitches the handsome prince Aemond in a way he could never have predicted.
This is a first draft so please forgive my deplorable grammar, I'll repost the final draft later on. I hope you enjoy! ♡
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The day had arrived that you thought would never come, the day you had dreamed of, yearned for; the chance to perform for the King and Queen of Westeros in the palace at King's Landing.
Since the day your mother caught you singing a lullaby to your baby sister and managed to get you into one of the best bard collages in westeros, you had dreamed of the day you could sing for the royal family, though you had never thought of it ever coming true.
You sat in your carriage, nervously waiting for it to stop so you could take your first step onto the palace grounds, a far cry from your humble beginnings, but your talents had taken you far, gained you many titles, and now you knew you must give your best performance, for your future depended on it.
Just as soon as you had thought it, the carriage came to a halt and soon the door was opened and you were standing in the palace courtyard, greeted by Queen Alicent herself, as fair as you had imagined her.
You walked over with the elegance bestowed to you by your mother, despite her hardened hands from the work she did to keep you fed through your childhood.
You stopped some feet away from the Queen and your eye immediately caught that of a tall young man, stood behind her with his siblings on the steps of the entance, his black eyepatch standing out from his fair skin and long white hair.
"Lady Y/N, it's such a pleasure to have you here in King's Landing." Said the Queen.
"You're too kind your grace." You cursied politely. "The pleasure is all mine. I'm honoured you would have me."
The Queen smiled warmly. "I trust your journey was fair?"
"As fair as a months journey by sea can be." You smiled in reply.
"Well, I'm glad you've made it safely. May I introduce you to my children? Prince Aemond, Princess Helaena, and Prince Agon, my eldest." She said, gesturing to each as they bowed and cursied in answer to their name, though Aegon barely bothered to exert any effort and was clearly hungover and did not wish to be there.
You cursied once again, not seeing prince Aemond's lingering gaze. "An honour to finally meet you."
"I'm sure you're exhausted from your long voyage, I will have you shown to your chambers." She put a hand gently on your back, ushering you forward. "You will have plenty of time to rest before tonight's festivities, so please make yourself comfortable."
"Thank you, your grace."
Tumblr media
You sat in your chambers till nightfall, not needing much to warm you as the air in King's Landing was favourable compared to the harsh damp of the ship you arrived on.
There was not much in the way of sleep as your nerves had kept you far too awake despite your exhaustion. Though you did find your mind wandering to the handsome prince Aemond, who you had met a few hours earlier. He had a cunning in his eye that made you wary, but that smile...that smile had you intrigued; sly and knowing, as if he knew your eye had lingered on him longer than the others, as if he knew your very secrets and desires.
You hadn't realised how deep in thought you were until you jumped at the maid knocking at the door.
Soon it was time to perform and you needed to be dressed and prepared, though that smile remained; echoing quietly in the back of your mind as you redied yourself for what was to be the most important performance of your life.
Tumblr media
The crowd of nobles applauded as you took your position amongst the musicians accompanying you and hushed soon after, awating your famed melodies.
Your gown of deep crimson caught the firelight and made it seem as though it was woven with fine threads of blood.
Prince Aemond stood at the back of the room, not originally intending to be there but you're beauty and mystery had piqued his interest and he had nothing better to do.
You closed your eyes for a moment as you breathed deep, awaiting the starting strum from the lyre. When it echoed through the hall, you began.
"You breathe within me
A hot breath that caresses my heart
as soft flames caress paper
You embrace me
And quiet the world to sigh in my ear
Calm and relentless.
You warm my body
And draw the heat from my soul,"
Aemond's expression changed from his usual contemplative stoicism and he took a subconscious step forward as he found himself utterly bewitched. His eye widened and his breath hitched, as if hearing song for the very first time.
Tumblr media
"You smile at your success
You sigh as you fail
I love you
I need you
You are the worst part of me
I cannot live without you,"
This mysterious creature that had arrived here had just clutched his heart in a way that he could never have predicted and it took him completely off guard and yet he could do nothing until the song was over and the hall ruptured with applause, only then was he free from the spell that had held him in such a disarming embrace.
Your eyes met from across the room and as they did he swelled with emotions he could not decipher, good or bad he did not know, he only knew that this was dangerous and forced his gaze from you as he left hastily.
He was rarely disarmed in battle, if ever. His station, prowess, and respect had been worked hard for and earned and he was proud of that accomplishment, to the point of arrogance. But to be disarmed by a woman and her siren song was a concept never entertained by his mind, nor thought of as something that would...should ever happen.
He retired to his chambers and sat staring into the flames in silence, unable to take his mind off of this woman, this...beautiful woman who had grasped him in a way he couldn't understand.
Tumblr media
The weakness that posessed him in the presence of, not just a woman but a common woman, angered and confused him. Who was she to be able to do this to him? Was she a witch? Was this a spell? Though, it wasn't long before his mind wondered to how the nape of her neck curved, how her hair fell, how soft her lips must be, how warm she would feel...
Tumblr media
You had just been undressed when the knock came at the door. The maids wrapped you in a robe which you tied around your waist as the door was answered.
Aemond entered the room with what you could tell as the faintest hint of urgency despite his slow, strong gait.
"Your highness." You curtsied, surprised. "Is something the matter? I'm not quite decent."
"I wanted to congratulate you on your performance tonight." He said, his demeanour no different from the moment you met. "Your talents have won my parents hearts it seems."
"You flatter me your highness."
There was a brief moment of silence as neither of you could find the will to take your eyes off each other.
"You did not come here to compliment my singing." You said. Eyes exploring every inch if him as he stood, stoic and strong before you.
"Perhaps I have not." He admitted, the words escaping his mouth almost of their own accord.
Tumblr media
The corner of your mouth curled a little. "That will be all Maylina, Esbeth." You said without looking away from him.
The maids curtsied and left promptly and Aemond nearly leapt forward and took you in his arms immediately, much to his consternation, but instead stayed where he was, eye trying not to wander.
"You came from bravos?" He asked.
"Bravos was one of the places I came from." You replied vaguely you walked over to the freshly drawn bath and poured oils and flower petals into the glistening water, illuminated by firelight.
He watched every movement you made, graceful and calm. You turned to him and smiled, it was now you with the knowing smile.
"You wish to know more about me?" You asked, now pouring a decanter of goats milk into the bath.
Without hearing a footstep, nor a rustle of cloth, a chest pressed against your back and a hand wrapped tenderly around your waist.
Your breath hitched in surprise.
"Who are you?" He hummed low in your ear.
Wanting to melt into his arms, you put the decanter down on the small table beside the bath.
"Your curiosity is...persuasive." You sighed, sliding your fingers over his to undo your robe.
Tumblr media
With a dull shuffle of heavy fabric, the robe dropped to the floor between you. He could feel the pressure of his heart beating as his fingertips caught a touch of skin and his eyes wandered to your curves as you stepped into the bath and lay down in the steaming water.
Your fingers still intertwined, you slowly pulled him down with you, his knee coming to rest on the stone floor and his free arm laying on the edge of the brass tub.
You played slowly with his fingers, just barely above the water, and your breasts only half covered, the rest of you disguised by flower petals and the now clouded water.
His gaze came to rest in yours and there was a peace laying beneath the tension that was ever so obvious, a calm that seemed to slow his heart from beating so hard.
Your free hand rose from the cloudy water and fingers tipped with water droplets brushed the scar across his eye ever so gently.
"Who are you?" You cooed, almost at a whisper.
He covered your hand with his own and used both to take off his eyepatch, glancing down for a moment before looking back at you with a gleaming blue sapphire in place of his left eye.
You held his cheek in your hand and brushed it tenderly with your thumb.
He knew it didn't frighten you, he saw no fear in you at all, nor pity; curiosity maybe, but mostly intrigue and admiration of all things.
Your gaze returned and you reached your other hand up to touch the strands of hair that hung over his shoulder and were dipped lightly in the water. Gently, you pulled it, bringing his face closer to yours and, with the slightest of hesitations, your lips met.
His were soft and warm and you let out an accidental quiet hum as he brought his hand out of the water to cradle your face as he kissed you a little deeper.
A warmth swept through the both of you like a fire pushed onward by a hot summer breeze and you needed to be near each other as if your lives depended on it.
You leant back and he followed, his arm plunging into the water and coming to rest on your soft waist as you continued to kiss him. His other hand came up to his collar and began to unbuckle his leather vest but your hand guiding his slowly down between your thighs stopped him.
He pulled away for air and looked down at your lips, then back to your eyes as he felt his fingers brush over your folds.
Your breath hitched slightly at the sensation of him finding your clit and slowly beginning to draw small circles over it and leant up to kiss him again.
Breaths slowly grew heavier as tongues intertwined and the pleasure from his fingers began to build up. Your breasts rose and fell quicker by the minute and Aemond was gaining endless satisfaction from the sounds that were coming from your mouth. The desperate little moans and whimpers that weren't loud enough for his liking and he needed more of you.
In another burst of passion he climbed into the bath with you until he was over you, one arm leaning on the edge above your head and the other reaching down further to allow two of his long, slender fingers to slide inside of you, an act made easier by how aroused you had become.
An exclaimed sigh of pleasure left your lips and as his fingers began moving inside you, you grabbed the back of his neck, tilting your head back as much as the slope of the bath would allow.
"Look at me." He breathed.
With more breaths of pleasure, you looked back in his eyes, and he held you there, looking deep into your beautiful eyes as you writhed and twitched with pleasure in the water beneath him.
You moved your hands to his collar and began to impatiently undo the buckles on his vest. You wanted his skin on yours, you wanted to feel him.
As you got his vest undone he removed his fingers to hastily remove it and his now soaked undershirt.
You ran your nails gently down his back as he leant back down to kiss you again and the growl that came from his throat, unknown to you, was not one he had ever made before. You did it again and he pushed his fingers inside you once more, this time his movements far more ardent.
You moaned and held him closer as you approached orgasm, the sounds of the water and the crackling fireplace being completely drowned out as the pleasure quickly approached its peak, his eyes still holding your gaze despite how much harder it had become for you.
With only a few more strokes your climax hit you hard and your back arched in response, your cries of pleasure echoing down the halls leading from your chambers, letting the maids who had returned with freshly washed gowns know exactly how much pleasure the prince could give and they left once again, exchanging excited glances.
Once you had caught your breath Aemond curled an arm beneath you to lift you out of the water.
You both stood on your knees, the feeling of his warm chest against your breasts and his hand on the back of your neck made you burn with desire as you kissed each other so deeply one would think you could steal each other's soul.
He lifted you to your feet and picked you up, carrying you to the bed where he laid you down gently.
He kissed you softly once more before standing up and removing the rest of his soaked clothing.
You sat up on the edge of the bed and looked at him as he tossed his clothes to the side, now completely bare.
He was beautiful.
His fair skin glistened with droplets of water in the light from the many candles that flickered around the room.
"Come to me." You cooed, almost staring into his soul as you looked up at him.
He couldn't resist you. He stepped forward, his hand meeting yours as you raised it toward him and you looked up at him as he nearly towered over you.
You held so much power over him. Was it truly a spell that had him?
You wrapped your arms around him and stroked his back as you left sweet, slow kisses down his stomach to his abdomen, but before you could go any lower he curled his index finger beneath your chin and tilted your head back to look at him again.
"You bewitch me, stranger."
"I hear no protest." You replied with a sly smile.
He lifted you up. You wrapped your legs around him and he laid you down further up the bed this time and he marvelled at your being, every curve, every tiny detail of perfection and imperfection that formed your body. He ran his hands down your chest and over your breasts, down your stomach and up your thighs.
He leant down and began kissing down the inside of your thigh ever so slowly as you gripped the sheets by your head, your heartbeat growing faster the closer he got to your entrance.
He hovered over you, teasingly, looking up into your eyes as he gently blew air over your folds, smirking at the lustful look in your eye.
As his tongue made contact with your clit you sighed with pleasure and your head fell back against the bed.
His tongue swirled around you and you gripped a handful of his silken white hair as he began to suck and flick, sending you into utter bliss.
"Hmm.." He hummed against you, savouring your taste and the feeling of you in his mouth as he squeezed your thighs.
Your breaths were short and jagged as your hips began to move slightly, gently grinding into his tongue.
As he came up for air you placed your hands on his and pulled him back up on top of you, his fingers interwining with yours and pushing your hands into the bed.
You could feel how hard he was as his cock pressed against you, thick and solid, practically begging to feel you from the inside.
Aemond kissed you hungrily and you could taste yourself on him. He pulled away, positioned himself and pushed himself inside of you, holding your gaze the entire time.
You let out an involuntary moan and he did the same, the sensation just too good for him to hold back and you clenched around him.
You squeezed his hand tighter, and as he brushed his hair to one side and brought his other hand back up to clasp yours again, he lifted himself up a little more and began to move.
He bent his head down and kissed your neck, then biting, just soft enough not to leave a mark, then kissing the same spot once again.
It was slow and steady at first, allowing for both of you to feel as much as you could before lust took over and he began to move steadily, faster and faster.
"H-harder!" You breathed between moans, and he growled again.
He pushed harder, the sounds rippling through the room like lightning. Everything began to blur, all sensations became one and you wanted to cum again.
"Harder!" You cried.
He let go of your hands and sat up, grabbing your thighs with his slender but strong hands and began pounding you, hard, almost reaching your cervix, and every thrust pushed another desperate moan out of you. You didn't give a fuck who heard, his mother could hear for all you cared, you just wanted him to keep going.
"Ah!" You gasped, barely able to breathe. "Fuck me Aemond!"
He fucked you harder, digging his nails into your thighs until you felt a familiar heat build and suddenly explode inside of you and you cried out in immeasurable pleasure, loud and primal, gripping the sheets so tightly you could have broken a finger.
Feeling you cum on his cock and clench around him so tightly sent him over the edge like nothing before and he cried out.
"Argh!" He exclaimed, grabbing you close to him and pumping his cum inside of you as you dug your nails into his back and held him close.
Breaths were heavy and chests heaving as you both came down and tried to calm your breathing. He lay on top of you, his forehead pressed against your collarbone.
After a few moments he supported himself on his arms again and kissed you as he pulled out.
He rolled onto his back and you could feel his cum dripping out of you as you also rolled over, placing your head on his still heaving chest.
You both fell into a deep sleep very soon after, embracing each other as if hoping to become one.
But you already had.

Part I | Part II | Part IV
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Two more days passed and the negotiations within the council had heated but were finally coming to an end. It wouldn't be long before Elisa was due to return home with her father, and she was trying to find a way to ask him if she could stay.
The night came quickly, but dinner seemed to last forever. Daemon had joined them now, having returned from official business at Dragonstone. Aegon sat miserably at his place at the table, downing cup after cup of westerosi wine. Lord Eris stayed his tongue so as to not insult the Queen, and Rhaenyra glared at him from across the table. Aemond, on the other hand, stole glances when Elisa was too busy talking with Haelena to notice him.
They had spent continuously longer lengths of time together on the tower. Their training was going well but that wasn't the only reason for their meetings anymore.
The sounds of steel on steel echoed over the tower but they were high enough that the wind drowned it out and they couldn't be heard by guards, or more importantly, Lord Eris.
"You're slow today Aemond." She mocked. "Had too much wine?"
He retaliated with a growl and she quickly ducked to dodge the blow.
"I'm not as slow as your draw." He retorted with a smirk.
The next few moves were more practice but she then flipped her sword so she held it backwards and slashed at him, down twice, then across. He dodged the first two but blocked the last. He was frustratingly quick.
They circled each other slowly for a moment, Elisa's eyes carefully watching him, calculating each move she could make and each one he could use against her.
"Have you grown afraid of me? Attack!" He mocked.
She lowered her sword and began walking normally towards him. His eyes narrowed slightly, but he kept his sword raised.
When she got to a mere meter away from him she brought the sword up but he blocked it with little to no trouble.
He replied with his own attack but as she dodged it she drew the dagger from his belt and brought it to his throat. That was a defeat.
They stood catching their breaths for a few moments, standing unbearably close. She smiled at her victory, but then, without warning, he leant forward and kissed her.
She froze for a moment in surprise, but it didn't take long for her to begin to melt into the kiss, against her better judgement.
Her grip on the dagger loosened and the blade moved away from his neck.
She wanted to stay there.
She pulled away and their lips stayed a mere centimetre from each other for a moment, his free hand now on her wast.
"We can't." She said, almost at a whisper as she lowered her head, her temple now resting against his chin.
"Elisa-"
"We're not betrothed. It would be foolish of us."
He wrapped his arm around her further. "Then let us have this moment."
She placed a tender hand on his cheek and moved her fingers forward to gently brush over his lips.

The last thing she wanted was to leave but she couldn't fall for a man she wasn't betrothed to, only to have to leave in two days and possibly not see him for years to come; after he had married another woman and had his own children. She couldn't survive the heartache.
She wanted to stay with him, in his arms there on that tower for as long as she could, but she had to tear herself away.
"I'm sorry." She said.
She placed his dagger in his hand and walked away.
He watched her leave with a longing he had never felt and she wanted nothing more but to turn back.
When she got far enough back into the passageways, she leant her back against a wall and held back tears, fingers pressed to her lips, not wanting to forget how the kiss had felt but forcing herself to.
She breathed in deep and she began to calm, but a familiar voice appeared not far from her.
"Well well." Said Aegon, walking unsteadily toward her. "What are you doing out here?"
"Not now Aegon." She hissed, beginning to leave, but he grabbed her forearm.
"I'm a Prince." He said. "You shall address me as such."
"Let me go or I'll cut off your cock and feed it to the pigs."
"You couldn't if you tried."
She reached for her sword but realised she had left it on the tower with Aemond.
"What a shame." He mocked, before grabbing her and pushing her to the ground, placing a knee on her back. "And there's no prince Aemond to save you this time."
"Get off me!!" She yelled, starting to panic. He was a drunkard but he was still stronger than her.
"Shhh shhh shhh." He hushed. "You'll spoil the moment."
"I'll kill you if you touch me! I'll kill you!!"
She heard him undo his belt buckle and tried to squirm, but he had his entire weight on her and she could barely breathe.
"Get- get off me!!" She choked.
He ignored her and began to pull up her skirts but Aemond's hands appeared out of the shadows and grabbed him by the hair.
He pulled him off of her and threw him to the ground violently.
Tumblr media
Elisa scrambled to her feet and Aemond began to punch him, again and again but she didn't turn around, she just ran.
"You worthless cunt!" Aemond yelled.
Elisa's boots thudded against the stone floor as she sprinted through the darkened passageways, her heart racing and tears falling uncontrollably down her cheeks.
Suddenly, a large heaving shadow in the dark before her made her skid to a stop. She slipped in the dirt and fell to the ground, hard.
She shadow unfurled it's wings and turned to her, it's eyes seeming to glow in the darkness.
It was Araxi, one of the younger dragons, yet to be tamed.
Elisa held her breath, having not seen a dragon since she was a child, let alone this close. Her heart did not slow as she stared at the beast before her, she knew the danger of an untamed dragon.
