The icononic "Be Someone" bridge has most recently been painted with #SaveOurChildren The Houston Chronicle ran an article calling it vandalism but in the next breath calls it a tribute when It was previously painted with George Floyd. I was reading the article aloud this morning and my daughter overheard. This was her response: "Wait, they're basically saying George Floyd is more important then the lives of children that go missing? Thats not right! That is so messed up! Children are basically people too... They're just weird and smaller." God, I love her. And yes, she's weird. Lol. What she doesn't know is, the weird never goes away.
