I don’t even know what to say. Still. About 3 weeks ago I made a post on this silly little website and then through the help of so many wonderful people this happened. THIS HAPPENED.

We made it into the papers! Please give this wonderful article a click. The project was shared so many times. So many people were so excited and thankful and I will never get over it. I will gather my thoughts and try to write a coherent post at some point but I’m just shocked and blown away. Thank you to everyone who participated.

HSL♥️T VIENNA RAINBOW RECAP

I've talked a lot about how I've been physically unable to process any of what happened on Saturday, but I am seriously still so overwhelmed that even thinking about it is making me tear up as I write this. One of the angels I worked with to make the rainbow project happen has volunteered to write down some of the things we've been crying about. Buckle up, this is going to be a long and intense post. (x)

We’ve decided to make a post, because the Vienna show isn’t being talked about for how UNREAL it was, rainbow wise — seriously, what was ANY of that????

We met up early on Saturday to start distributing our papers and mini pride flags that we had gotten to those in line for GC/pit. Everyone was so lovely, so excited for the project, some recognised Evi from the rainbow project she did for Louis' show, a LOT of people had heard about the project on TikTok. So we were really excited for lots of flags and lights in pit.

Our incredible volunteers did such an amazing job making sure papers got everywhere! We only had just over 3 weeks to plan the project, so we decided to just use the design of the venue to determine where we put the colours and it worked out so well. We’re so, so grateful for everyone who spread the word and helped out — the support we got was unreal. We handed out almost 10,000 pieces of paper. WHAT?!

Before the show started, one of us handed one of our papers to Anthony Phan, told him to keep it as a keepsake, even if we knew he would be busy during the show and wouldn’t be able to participate. Then it was time for the show and while we could write and talk about it all day every day for the rest of our lives, we want to focus on the project. But the show was incredible, as always.

And then it was time for Sign of the Times, which we had decided would be our rainbow song. And my God, it exceeded all of our expectations. The lights were just so, so beautiful! And so were the flags in the pit!

Harry knew it was coming, too. He was ready for it. Maybe Anthony told him, maybe he saw it on social media, maybe he saw a few colored specks of light during the show — who knows? But he knew about it beforehand. Because after the project started, he smiled and nodded towards someone at side stage as if to say “there it is” – he knew about it, he was ready for it, he loved it. He was so emotional during the song and especially at the end, bowing to us even though the show hadn’t ended. Those bows were for our project and so were his repeated "thank you"s. You could tell he was so moved. And so were we. I’m pretty sure we were all sobbing in our different sections of the arena.

One of the best parts? The close ups of the pride flags on the big screen. They were in black and white, but they were there. Still. Not. Over. That. They saw the pride flags and said “Yeah, let’s show those — make sure everyone in the arena sees them alongside all the rainbow lights. Because we love them.” Just. HOW. (x)

And then, when it was all over, and we were coming down on Sunday, we found an article that mentioned our project and got the point? We didn’t contact any media, never tagged any journalists, never did any promo beforehand beyond social media, but this article GOT IT. Got that we did this project not for personal recognition, or for Harry to acknowledge us, or to gain followers, but for us and the community.

We wanted to create a safe space for everyone at Harry’s shows — just like @lhrry and her @rainbowsforlightsup were hoping for. And we did it. We’ve received so many messages since the show, so many comments, about how beautiful it looked and how it made people feel safe. People have been posting the most beautiful videos everywhere and we couldn’t be prouder that we could help them feel at home in Harry’s House.

Thank you once again to everyone who helped, participated, shared, held up a light, waved a flag or just showed us some love. Thank you to Harry for… everything. And thank you Agnes for kicking this off and being a friend.

EVI WE FUCKING DID IT!!! The project worked so well and went beyond all my expectations. Everyone was so happy and grateful and lovely. We did that. We made them feel safe and welcome. And Harry loved it - with his little nod and smile towards side stage! And his worshipping bowing at the end! And the close up on the rainbow flags on the big screen! I'm still shaking and crying. And we got mentioned in a fucking newspaper review? WHAT? I will never be over this. NEVER.

THANK U FOR SAYING THINGS BECAUSE IM INCAPABLE OF PUTTING ANY COHERENT THOUGHT INTO A SENTENCE RIGHT NOW.

The bows I will never get over. And the article. And the fact that both the journalist and michi buchinger commented on our tiktok. And that he KNEW. Like the nod??? He was waiting for it. It was fucking magical.

And all the people who thanked us for everything? The people who fucking recognized me from Louis’ show and those who had the papers from that show in their phone cases still…. We’ve managed to create safe spaces in our hometown. We’ve got a community.

Two things from Night 2 of Düsseldorf that I haven't seen anyone mention yet, but I think should be pointed out: 1) After Medicine, H stopped the show so that a fan who was in trouble could be helped and taken care of; 2) He made sure to get Sarah's drumsticks and a pick of his to a little girl who was standing with her mom at FoS left. It was so cute. He made sure to give it to his security who knew what to do with it, which makes me think he does this kind of thing often and is just so sweet.

God, I’m so excited for our show on Saturday 🥹🥹🥹🥹

I'll never get over that little smile and nod - it gave me LIFE. That was for us, for our flags, our lights, the fans they represent. They knew it was coming (thanks Anthony!!!), they were ready for it. They loved it. And those bows at the end? And that heartfelt thank you? I'm just so proud and happy. My god. Harry was ready for that and he loved that. No one will ever convince me otherwise.

Hsl<3t Vienna update from me: it’s 4:30am now and I was late night talking with friends who helped with the rainbow project, and then my friend who’s sleeping over.

I don’t even know what to say other than that it was incredible. I will make a more elaborate post at some point tomorrow but I’m just. Sitting in bed trying to process that we pulled off a rainbow project like this is 3 weeks and how much it meant to me and to other queer people I talked to and how much it clearly meant to harry as well. So thank you to everyone who participated. I feel a lot of love.
