At the age of 29, Miya Osamu is still single.

None of his friends questioned his decision. There were people who were vying for his attention, but none of them managed to woo the owner of Onigiri Miya.

But his brother, Atsumu, knows why he’s still single after all these years.

“Ten years and still counting,” his twin began that made him frown. “I’m not sure if I should commend you or if I should pity you.”

He clicked his tongue before slightly kicking his brother. “Who needs your pity, you scrub?” he asked, his mood turning sour every passing second. “It’s my choice whether or not to confess my feelings to her or not. Also, neither of us are ready yet.”

Or at least, he’s hoping that you feel the same way.

“Ah. You haven’t heard yet?” Osamu turned to his brother with a scowl. “Tch. You should read our group chat from time to time. Suna gave her some tips on how to strike a conversation with a stranger during a group date.”

His eyebrows twitched upon hearing the word ‘date.’

“I’ll smack the shit out of you if you’re lying.”

“Do you really think I’m capable of lying? I’m offended, my dear brother,” Atsumu responded while resting his hand on his chest. “Besides, she’s not getting any younger too, ’Samu. Don’t you think it’s only natural for her to find her other half by now?”

Osamu groaned as he leaned his head against the couch. “So... when’s this group date happening?” he asked while covering his eyes with his arm.

“I think it’s going to happen tonight. Wait, I’ll forward the details to you.”

Osamu immediately rose from his seat while taking long strides towards his room.

“Are you sure this is the right place?” you asked Suna while standing outside a greenhouse where Suna said the group date is going to be held. “Tell me now if you’re messing up with me while I still haven’t entered that place.”

“Don’t you trust me, Y/N?”

“You’re really asking me that?” you asked while frowning. “Would you like me to remind you those days when—?”

“—Alright, you win. But that was then, Y/N. I’ve changed.”

“Uh-huh.”

“Come on. Believe me, for Osamu’s sake!”

“Don’t mention his name, Suna Rintarō.”

But Suna laughed upon hearing your threatening voice. “Just sign up and enter the greenhouse. They’re waiting for you.”

Before you could even retort, Suna ended the phone call.

You grumbled and approached the person who’s taking care of the guestbook. While they’re looking for your name, you tilted your head as soon as you recognized who that person is.

“You—!” It was one of the first-year students who played with the twins when you were in third year. “—what’s happening here?”

“I’ve confirmed that your name is on the list.” Then, he pulled out a walkie-talkie and said, “Akagi-san, please assist her to her table.”

“Akagi? He’s here too?”

You were confused. ‘Were they planning to have a reunion behind my back? But one of them would surely end up spoiling the surprise even if it’s unintentional. Atsumu, to be exact.’

“Follow me, Miss.”

You decided to play along with your former teammates. You’ve spotted Aran and Kita behind the buffet table, both of them were wearing similar outfits that matches the theme of the greenhouse.

“Please wait here for the arrival of your designated partner,” Akagi said while grinning from ear-to-ear.

‘What the hell are they planning?’

They offered you drinks and finger foods while waiting for your ‘designated partner’. While you were enjoying one of your favorite snacks, someone suddenly sat on the vacant seat in front of you.

You almost choked upon seeing his face. No, you actually the food you were slightly choking that he have to give you something to drink. “What’s with that look?” you asked after regaining your composure.

“Just a little change.”

“Woah. Who would’ve thought you’d look nice?”

“I always looked nice.”

“Hah! Says who?”

“I hope I’m not intruding or anything.”

You stopped laughing when you heard his voice. Suna began snickering while looking at your reaction.

If you weren’t too distracted with the man standing before you, you would’ve stuffed Suna’s face with the finger food you’ve accumulated over time.

There he was, standing effortlessly beautiful while wearing an attire that’s far from his usual outfit. His hair was neatly done, the buttons of his poor long sleeves were about to pop off, and to finish it off, he was even wearing a pair of glasses with thin metallic rims.

You unconsciously swallowed your saliva while staring at him. Suna shook his head before turning to his friend. “No, of course not. Just trying to accompany Miss Manager here since her designated partner is taking so long to arrive.”

“Designated partner?”

Suna stood before patting Osamu’s shoulder. “Five minutes. We’re all starving so that’s the only time we could give you two to talk.”

Your friends left in a hurry, leaving you—who’s too flustered to talk with your long-time crush— and Osamu all by yourself.

“I’m guessing that you weren’t aware of their plans either?” you asked after clearing your throat. You were trying your best to avoid his gaze, but he was too attractive to be ignored.

“Do you have an idea who your designated partner is?” he asked carefully.

After ten years and still counting, he’s still a little dense when it comes to this romance thing.

“It’s—”

“It doesn’t matter,” he suddenly said before kneeling his knee while holding your hand. “What... What matters more is that...” Osamu looked into your eyes. “...”

“You’re hesitating.”

“Give me a moment,” he said with his eyebrows furrowing. “I've never felt this way before, and truthfully it scares me. But, the idea of never trying scares me even more.”

Your face felt warm upon hearing those words from him. “Osamu?”

“I love you.”

“...”

“From that time we had to share the bed during the Spring Tournament, I knew that I’ve fallen in love with you.” He tightly shut his eyes while still holding your hand. “I’ve never confessed my feelings before because you’ve turned down all of the confessions you received back then. Maybe you weren’t ready yet, so I waited. And waited. Until I heard that you’ve signed up for a group date.”

“Osamu...” you touched his cheek with your free hand while trying your best to suppress that grin that’s about to appear on your face. “First of all, it was Suna who signed me up for that group date or blind date thing. Second, I turned those confessions down because...”

You avoided his gaze as keep yourself from saying the words you were afraid to say. But... you don’t have to be afraid of confessing anymore, right?

“...I was just...” you scratched the corner of your lips as you buy more time to compose yourself. “...well, aside from the fact that I’m not interested to any of them, I was... maybe I was hoping for you to... ehem... I don’t know, confess like you did earlier?”

“Huh? So, all this time, we—?”

“—wasted more than 10 years? Yes,” Atsumu cut off as they entered the greenhouse. “I’m starving,” he said as he made his way towards the buffet table.

“We’ve been telling her to confess first instead of just waiting for you, but she’s too stubborn,” Suna added as he follows Atsumu.

“What are you two waiting for?” Kita asked while looking at the two of you who remained unmoving.

It was awkward, at the very least, but he doesn’t mind experiencing this humiliating event if he’ll get to hear you say your feelings towards him.

At the age of 29, Miya Osamu was single.

But at 30, he began to write a new chapter in his life with you by his side.

amihan’s note: this is based on got to believe which was a drama television series back in 2013. i used to wait for this to get on air… damn i missed cute cliche teleseries on television. anyways, i picked some famous scenes in g2b and put a lil' twist in it. i think megumi really fits joaquin's image, dunno if it's just me. thank you for the kissing scene idea mahal <33 n e ways, hope you’ll enjoy this, happy reading!

-the first meeting

you run behind satoru after seeing him pass by, “mister gojo!” you call out as you try to catch up with him.

“excuse me” you push past the people beginning to lose sight of him. a certain boy in a hoodie happen to be in the way which cause you to unintentionally shove him harder than intended.

“ahhh!” you hold the piece of wood that's about to fall on top of him.

a bodyguard helps you with the wood, the boy have his arm on top of his head successfully protecting himself.

once deemed safe, you begin turning your back at him, about to leave the scene. the boy stands up and points at you.

“hoy!” you turn around and look at him, “what?” you ask in slight irritation, satoru's nowhere to be found.

“that’s all you’re gonna say?! you could’ve killed me!” he shoutz at you, agitated.

side note; a little background, joaquin has a bullet in his head that’s why he’s extra careful with hitting his head. thus, if the wood would have fallen on top of him it may have resulted in his death. also po and opo are used for older/someone with authority to show respect.

you frown, “you? dying? because of that?!” you scoff. you then wave your hand dismissing everything.

“fine,” you mutter before bowing like a princess, “sorry po~!” you drag out, trying to sound as apologetic as possible.

you turn on your heel running to find satoru again, not giving him a chance to reply. “are you okay sir?” the bodyguard checked on him, looking for any injuries.

the boy glares towards your direction, he clicks his tongue and tug his hood back on.

-when you just got hired as megumi’s nanny

the first time you set foot in gojo hacienda which surprisingly located in the countryside, clearly the opposite from what you expected since satoru is a well-known man in the country.

the mansion is breezy and peaceful as you walk alongside him, trying to familiarize the place. what surprises you the most is the fact that satoru have no other maid or helper around the house. it’s just him and what you assumed was his ‘little’ son whom you have yet to meet.

“excuse me for a second, you can continue looking around if you want to,” he quickly excuses himself, answering his phone.

you nod at him politely, doing as told. “psst” someone tries getting your attention which they successfully did.

you see a blur of black from behind the trees, “wait is that the little kid?” you muttered to yourself. you slowly approach where the sound came from, wanting to at least get a glimpse of them.

before you can even step outside, your vision turns upside down. “AHHHH!” you scream holding your skirt, “put me do-” your words' cut off by loud barks from behind you.

your eyes widen at this. soon, you come face to face with a dog, soft white fluffy fur tickling your face.

the other dog behind you is still barking, biting your skirt and tugs on it. “no no, bad dog!” you panic, trying to break free from what’s hoisting you up and from the dog’s grip.

megumi snickers, making sure to keep his location concealed behind one of the many trees surrounding the mansion.

he tugs on the rope making you struggle more as you move up and down. “stop it!! let me down!” you exclaim, tears starting to well up in the corner of your eyes.

“what’s happening?” satoru, finally done with his damn phone call, saw the confusing scenery.

you fall with a thump after megumi lets go of the rope, he immediately walks out of the scene being careful not to be seen by satoru.

satoru rushes to you, “oh god, are you okay?” you groan rubbing the back of your head, ‘does it look like i’m okay?’ you grumpily thought.

you put on a sweet smile waving a hand, “i’m all good sir, see~ not a scratch in my body.” satoru looks at you for a moment before he gave you a hand.

“you can rest first if you’re not feeling well.” however, you want to give a good impression, you quickly shake your head, which you soon come to regret because it made you feel a little dizzy.

you take his hand and use it as a leverage, you wobble a bit, satoru’s hand automatically wrapping around you.

“i’m fine, mister gojo. i promise,” you straighten up and sooth the crease on your skirt. “really?” he ask, skeptical with your statement, “hundred percent sure!” you enthusiastically replied.

-megumi ordering you to clean his closet

you knock on his bedroom door and open it a little bit, enough to peek through it. “sir..?” you frown at the mess in his room, his clothes is scattered everywhere.

every inch of his room covering with what seems to be every clothes he have in his closet.

“you called for me?” megumi audibly groans in displeasure, “finally.” he turns around and roll his eyes at you.

he points at the clothes on the floor, “clean.” he face back to his computer after demanding the order.

minutes passes by, his clothes are all folded and tidied together. you gather the last stack of them and carefully place it inside his closet.

you sigh in relief, “there you go,” you mutter to yourself. you look back at the boy, who now has his headphones on, and slowly approach him. you lightly tap his shoulder, he glance at you and raise a brow.

he remove one side of his headphones, “what?” you politely gesture at the neatly folded clothes, “all done sir, do you need me to do anything else?” you ask, smiling at him, cheerful like always.

he remove his headphones letting it rest around his neck, you follow every of his movements waiting for further instruction.

he approaches the closet, your cheerful expression faltering as he reached out at one pile of clothes and carelessly throw it on the floor one by one.

your jaw drop at his childish actions, once he's done emptying his closet. he put his headphones back on and mumble his one command, “again.”

you force a smile and utter through gritted teeth, “yes, sir.” you glare at the back of his head sitting down on the floor, now back to zero.

for the past months that you've officially become his personal nanny, the two of you have this little petty fight going on that seems to never end.

both of you not backing down even for a bit, it can be childish and too much but this is what brought the two of you closer without knowing.

-shirtless megumi

you rush towards megumi’s room after seeing his endless texts on your phone, you fell asleep without knowing.

what didn't help is the fact that you forgot you have your phone on mute effectively ignoring your boss’ calls.

due to the fuzziness of suddenly waking up, you enter his room without knocking on prior nor making your presence known.

it seems like heaven and earth hates you because the moment you open the door, another one did.

your eyes widens looking at megumi who just got out of the shower, to add cherry on top the male in question only has a towel hanging low on his hips like it was holding on its dear life.

you gulp, eyes traveling to every part of his body. his body that still have beads of water dripping down his toned body.

the way his skin stretched when he reached out for another towel, and those beautiful faint stretch marks across his shoulders.

to top it all off, his hair that's usually unruly and sticking all over the place is now damp and sitting on top of his forehead makes him more alluring than usual.

megumi ruffles his hair with another towel, humming songs in his head without knowing you’re there, who’s basically staring at this point.

he turns around and his eyes widened in shock, now aware of how you’re standing there on his doorway as you gawk over him.

he masks his reaction in a snap of a finger, all of a sudden cocky. “wanna take a picture so you can drool longer?” he smirk, his statement makes you snap out of your trance.

you stutter out incoherent words, actually flustered with what just happened. “i mean.. i don’t mind you staring longer but the water will dry soon,” he shrugs.

“maybe you like it wet rather than dry,” his smirk grows wider. you take a deep breath and shut the door with a loud thud not before sending a glare his way. megumi holds his stomach laughing hysterically at your comical reaction.

-first kiss

after cleaning and gathering clothes that needs to be wash in megumi's room, you turned around about to announce your departure, in case he needs you for anything.

instead you see him laying down on his bed, eyes closed shut tucked under his comforter comfortably. the grip you have around the basket softens at the sight, you carefully place it down beside his bed.

slowly and quietly, you take a seat beside his bed enchanted by his beauty. you mentally memorize the way he have a peaceful and relaxed expression, it suits him better than the usual scowl and stoic that seems to be permanently sketched to his face.

your awestruck shatters once you recall the pranks he pulled on you, the memory makes you grimace. you glare down at the sleeping figure.

you stand up, taking out your phone and quickly open your camera. surely, this will make a great blackmail whenever you're too tired of keeping up with his immature acts.

you grin like a madman as your finger slide across the screen focusing on his pretty face, your finger hover over the shutter button.

you're about to click the said button when your other boss decides to barge in loudly like the loud person he is, mind you he did all of that without knocking.

what have resulted because of this, you may ask? well, just like those cliché movies you watched, you fall forward. your lips lands on top of your nemesis.

satoru being satoru let out a loud whistle, "woah there love birds, sorry for interrupting," his hand resting on the doorknob.

megumi's eyes flutters open with all the ruckus satoru caused and partly because of the softness he felt on his lips too.

you immediately jump back and cover your mouth in shock with widened eyes.

he sits up on his bed and points at you, "what are you doing?!" he asks, flabbergasted.

satoru lowly whistles, his gaze going back and forth between you two, his lips forming into a playful smile. "y-you pervert!" he added, eyes still wide open mirrored with yours.

your jaw drop at his words, "excuse me?!" you point to yourself, "me? a pervert?" your voice lace with disbelief.

you scoff, "i am anything but a pervert!" megumi glares at you, not believing a word you're saying, you glare back at him.

satoru's airy laugh ends the staring contest you’re having, two sets of eyes on him now. "yeah, come on 'gumi" satoru says in a sing-song tone, megumi groans at the nickname.

satoru continues as he gestures to you, "she's your girlfriend. why would you even call your girlfriend that?"

megumi fakes a gag from satoru's words, you turn and glare at him. ‘if someone's gonna be disgusted here, it should be me, you spoiled brat' you thought to yourself.

"c'mon," satoru makes his way towards you, wrapping an arm around your shoulder, "she's the only one who stayed even with your.." he taps his chin thinking of the word.

he snaps his fingers and points finger gun at him. his lips forming a charming smile, "your rebellious stage." megumi rolls his eyes at him, "shut up," he mutter under his breath.

"you never fail to scare all your potential lovers away, let's at least keep little y/n-chan." he coos, his hand now resting on the top of your head.

he ruffles your hair, "i like her, she keeps you grounded." he looked between the two of you and gives a thumbs up as he exits the room. the two of you fall into a glaring contest once again.

both of you jump in your spot, interrupted by satoru again. he peeks from megumi's door frame, "forgot to tell you, there will be a ball hosted by the higher-ups. our appearance is apparently needed" he reminds megumi before disappearing.

megumi groans in his hand. you bend down to pick up the forgotten basket, "y/n-chan you're also coming!" satoru quickly adds and for real took his leave.

"what?!" both of you shouts in chorus but the man in question had already fled the scene.

-bonus scene;

“you’re so lame” megumi’s head snaps towards your direction, he raised a brow, “pardon?”

you shove your hands inside your uniform pockets. “you heard me,” you huff, not taking any of his childish stunts today, “who the hell calls their dogs, ‘divine dogs’” you air quote the name.

megumi clicks his tongue, rolling his eyes in the process, “you’re lame, those were a cool name to call them,” he mutters as he grumpily type away on his keyboard.

I haven’t written Rusciang in A LONG-ASS TIME but here!

Fifty one-sentence fics (well, more than one sentence for many of them) for fifty prompts, nicked off and inspired by this Chrom x Avatar fic called honeysuckle memories.

Title is from Don’t Be Afraid by Lee DeWyze, the song I listen to whenever I used to imagine a Rusciang 1890s wedding.

Finally, have a refresher in case you’ve forgotten my Lunasona, Leriang Sentido. That said, enjoy!

#1 - Ring

Camaraderie was born in their nightly circles around the cookfire after dinner, until they couldn’t tell where one comrade ended and another began.

#2 - Hero

There was nothing grand, or sweeping, or romantic about the entirety of what they went through. What stood out was every small, ordinary, unpleasant moment they endured just for the right to live another day.

#3 - Box

Most people had a box of their favorite expletives. Rusca had a fucking baul.

#4 - View

He exchanges seats at the breakfast table with Jose, so he’s face to face with the new girl who doesn’t laugh at his jokes.

#5 - Strength

“Eduardo Rusca.”

“Leriang Sentido.”

“I know you,” he says, because it’s impossible not to by now. “You’re Rafael Sentido’s sister.”

Something flashes in her eyes, and if he were standing, he thinks he would have stepped backwards. “No, you don’t know me. I’m Leriang Sentido.”

#6 - Ice

“It’s just so rare that someone can resist your charms,” Jose says a week in, clearly enjoying the show.

Rusca is glowering at him. “Well, she’s a rare person, I’ll grant you that.”

#7 - Dance

“Maybe instead of breaking down her walls, you should try to understand why they exist,” Jose had advised him. So he spends today staying out of her way, trying to find vantage points where he can watch her.

By nightfall, she’s the one who’s watching him.

#8 - Promise

“You swear not to tell anyone about this,” Rusca says through gritted teeth, as she squeezes aloe sap onto the sunburn marks on his back.

“I swear,” Leriang says, and he thinks she might be smirking but his neck burns too much for him to turn and check.

It’s the first of many secrets they will keep together.

#9 - Wait

He likes to think he’s quick on his feet. She likes to inform him he’s just rash, and impatient, and por dios, por santo, Rusca, I told you so.

#10 - Candle

He doesn’t mind studying by candlelight, but he tries to read everything he needs before sunset so it takes longer to deplete his stash.

The following night, she runs out of candles.

He discovers he doesn’t mind studying by moonlight.

#11 - Talent

Somewhere in the Academia was a piece of paper detailing the weekly outcomes of the ongoing bet on Rusca and Sentido’s shooting scores.

#12 - Talk

They get to know each other best on the nights they’re on patrol; their feet trace the perimeter, their words map out their souls.

#13 - Dream

“If it weren’t for the war, I’d be a baker,” he confides. “I’d run my father’s panaderia and eat as much as I’d sell. And you?”

“If it weren’t for the war,” she replies, “I would know.”

#14 - Mask

I’m literally wearing somebody else’s face, Rusca thinks with a scowl as he trudges his way to the river.

#15 - Run

He admired the sight of her when she ran, all clean lines and sure steps and braid flying in the wind, but he never fully appreciated the reality of it until she was running to him.

#16 - Storm

They say like called to like, so maybe it was the rushing water of the river that called her tears to the surface, the current of emotion sweeping them both away.

#17 - Farewells

She had been terrified of the idea of her brother dying, which is why she had refused to say goodbye, and later regretted it. Now she’s twice as paranoid, because bidding Rusca goodbye so they would regret nothing if they died meant accepting that was a possibility.

#18 - Fall

He got tossed off his horse’s back when he was a young rider, and he remembered the shock of suddenly being aloft, the thrill of almost believing he could fly, and dreading the bone-crushing thud of the landing he knew would eventually come.

Being in love with Leriang was much the same.

#19 - Wings

If she only allowed it, her heart could probably soar above the mountaintops and leave the misery of the trenches behind—and that is the precise reason why she doesn’t.

#20 - Temptation

Jose is away for the night, and he’s miserably proud of his effort to resist inviting her into their hut.

She undoes it all by coming anyway.

#21 - Midnight

“Mahal kita,” she says after several minutes of silence, testing the words out on her tongue.

He responds with a resounding snore, and she lets out the breath she’s holding.

Maybe that’s just as well.

#22 - World

American, Spaniard, Filipino—they sweated and cried and bled out when they died all the same. To Rusca, it didn’t matter what color your balls were if they didn’t keep you alive in the trenches.

#23 - Laugh

He laughs in the face of death. Some people feel like he’s stupid, he’s annoying, he’s disrespectful, he’s crazy.

“That’s fine with me,” he tells her when she points it out to him. “The important thing is that they no longer feel fear.”

#24 – Cover

They cut through the chaos of their invaded campsite back to back, and though this is the closest to the enemy they have ever been, neither of them are afraid.

#25 - Fire

One moment she was a girl with a long, thick braid, the next she was a human candle with a burning wick.

#26 - Drink

Leriang teases him all the time about his habit of pilfering the heneral’s unfinished drinks; he retorts that maybe military brilliance rubs off on people that way and he’s not taking any chances.

#27 - Music

He’s heard her sing, of course, but he prefers the arpeggio of her laughter.

#28 – Gravity

“Cold,” Rusca would tell the man who had come asking him what Pangasinan had been like decades later, remembering the hard stone floor beneath his knees and the steel shackles around his wrists as he prayed for daylight.

Get Closer With Me

Hi guys! I was supposed to work on my articles today but I ended up procrastinating the whole day. Is there such thing as a productive procrastination? I guess, this must be a great example of such.

Quarantine has made me think of some worthwhile activities, including this. The other day, I found myself looking through my cabinet and discovered a bunch of nostalgic things. It made me realize how simple life was way before. Indeed, life is a never ending cycle of going through changes. Sure, we can never turn back time but at least, we have these things that would help us reminisce our past moments.

I also remembered a note I published on my Facebook wall way back 2011. I got to scan and copy its content here and figured I could compare my perspective 9 years ago to present time.

So here it is! It’s a bit long but if you have time, just take time. Hahaha!

It was a life-changing moment and I could not be more thankful to God for giving me another chance to live. Life is precious!

SIYA NA NGA BA TALAGA?

"Siya na ba, Lord?” “Siya na ba, Lord?” Minsan masakit na tanong. Paano mo nga ba malalaman kung siya na ba ang God’s will mo? (aka “God’s Best”). Sa panahon ngayon kung saan umuulan ng mga hugot lines, mga taong bitter, at mga pusong takot masaktan, paano nga ba natin malalaman kung nasa tama na ang ating desisyon? Kailangan muna nating malaman na lahat ng nangyayari sa ating buhay – ay alam ng Diyos at planado niya. Huwag mong ibaba ang standards mo dahil ang tagal kang ipagpray ng pinagppray mo. PSALMS 37:4 DELIGHT / SATISFACTION = GALAK = PAGSUNOD Ang Kristyanong namumuhay ng may galak at pagsusunod sa Panginoon, ay Kaniyang pinagpapala – dahil nasa pagsunod ang susi. Maraming Kristiyano ang hindi pinagpapala dahil hindi sila sumusunod at wala silang galak sa Panginoon. Puro angal kung bakit wala pa yung GB nila, pero hindi naman sila marunong maglingkod sa Panginoon. Nagtataka bakit wala pang nanliligaw sa kaniya na Christian – pero pag tiningnan mo naman ang Christian life ay mas masahol pa sa hindi mananampalataya. Remember the more we enjoy the Lord, the more we can experience His best – that includes our love life. Kahit yung “The Best” na inaasahan natin. At hindi mo kailangan si Papa Jack, Dr. Love, o sinumang Poncio Pilatong magsasabeng “Sundin mo ang puso mo!” and dapat ay si Lord ang sundin mo – Siya lang ang magbibigay kay (insert name here) para sa’yo. Sa dinami-dami ng potential, "hope to be" o kaya ay "sana siya nalang Lord" na mga Kristyano sa paligid mo – papaano mo malalamang siya na? Kristyanong tunay – Godly Man | Godly Woman and not just a Christian Boy | Christian Girl. Walang wala sa plano ng Lord na magkaroon ka ng partner na hindi mananampalataya. Kaya tigilan mo na yang plano mong sheran muna siya tapos ligawan siya o kaya isama sya sa church niyo – sakit ng ulo ang hinahanap mo. Huwag mong ibaba ang standards mo dahil lang sa pogi siya o maganda siya. Huwag ka rin tumanggap ng manliligaw na hindi mananampalataya ( for girls ) at huwag kang pa-fall ( for boys). Huwag ipilit ang mali – may magandang plano sa’yo ang Lord, huwag mong sirain yun dahil lang nakipamatok ka sa hindi mananampalataya. Sayang ang feelings, kung ibibigay mo lang sa maling tao. Precious yan! – hindi yan nabibili sa sari-sari store at madaling ire-fill. Pag nagmahal ka sa maling tao, masakit – dahil kapag wala sa plano ng Lord, it will end up sa disaster. Laging masasaktan ka sa huli. May kinalaman yan sa puso mo sa Panginoon. The more you seek God, the more God will reveal you the best person He has in store for you ( MATTHEW 6:33 ). Hindi ka bibigyan ng Lord ng partner na papatay sa puso mo sa Lord – unless galing sa kaaway yan. Mahal ko ang Panginoon, kaya mahal ko rin ang gawain. "Hinding hindi ko kayang ipagpalit ang gawain ng Panginoon para lang sa mga panlupang bagay – yan ang laman ng aking puso." Kung ang pinagppray mo na partner sa buhay ay walang puso sa paglilingkod gaya ng burden ngayo, do you think yun ang “God’s will” para sa iyo? I don’t think so. Importante sa Panginoon ang anak Niyang nagbibigay lugod sa Kaniya. Sa pagpili palang ng partner ay dun na makikita – kung ano ang mas importante sa iyo kung ang Lord or ang love life mo? Kung ang burden mo ay maglingkod sa Lord, bibigyan ka Niya ng taong magiging inspirasyon mo para mas maglingkod pa. Tipo ng tao na kapag nadidiscourage ka na, siya yung bubugbog sayo ng bible verses para maging on fire ka ulit. Yung tipo ng babae na magreremind sayo bakit ka naglilingkod sa Lord. Yung partner na lumalago din sa Lord – dahil parehas kayo ng puso. Paano malalaman na siya na? Bumalik tayo sa tanong na "Ano ba ang gusto ng Lord sa buhay mo?" Deep in our heart ba inaalam natin kung ano ang importante sa atin? Importante sa buhay ng bawat Kristiyano ang paglilingkod sa Panginoon, kaya dapat makita din natin sa taong gusto natin maging life time partner na siya na ang the best person na makakasama mo to glorify God. Outward appearance didn't matter. Mag-iingat sa mga taong pinapapasok sa ating buhay. The more impure in our actions are the less ability we have to truly love. Don't lose your stickiness ( emotions ) for the wrong people. We must need to got standard and live by it. Ang taong magiging kasabay mo sa paglago. Ang taong kasabay mong maglilingkod. Ang taong mahal na mahal ang Panginoon. The best love life He has for us is the kind of relationship that is being strengthened by our love for the Lord. Just wait for His right timing and just enjoy, maximize your season all for His glory alone while waiting for that suitable ministry and life time partner. 💋👆
