LANGA HASEGAWA knows a lot about children's tv shows. like sitcoms and stuff. back in canada, it was a bit of a tradition to watch the saturday morning cartoons with his dad. he knows a lot of stupid jokes from like dora, toopy and binoo, pingu, the big red couch, that kind of thing. but also sitcoms like icarly, victorious, drake and josh were tokens of his childhood along with hannah montana and suite life of zack and cody. he just liked watching them because that's when his parents saw him actually show emotion.
REKI KYAN has a lot of knowledge about five nights at freddy's. he had a markiplier, jacksepticeye & pewdiepie phase. he was there for the pink mustache and probably has a plush of septic eye sam in his closet behind spare skateboards. he was so intrigued by five nights at freddy's and i feel like he would be more engrossed in the whole mechanical side of things how how the animatronics work because wo a h. bit of a bonus, but also a bit of a given, i feel like he knows a lot about cars. how they work, how they run, how to take care of them. that kinda thing
KAORU SAKURAYASHIKI knows a lot about fashion and clothing. he knows what looks good, what doesn't look good, what's in style and what's not in style. THAT BEING SAID HE KNOWS A LOT ABOUT REALITY TV. listen listen listen- he watches rupaul's dragrace and i do not take criticism. he loves watching the cat fights, the fashion challenges, he thinks it's absolutely wild and i fucking love the idea of cherry being entirely into reality tv like house hunters or queer eye. KING SHIT
KORJIRO NANJO knows a lot about old music. like i'm talking beatles, queen, disco, techno, you name it, he 1000% has a record for it (bc he has a record player at home). i see him as an old soul who knows a lot of older classics like elvis and other. please pass him the aux cord when you're driving with him, he has the perfect music for everything. he much prefers old tunes that you can dance to, whether it's swing dancing or slow dancing, i just see him as very joyful and it's an aspect of his personality that grabs the attention of the ladies too
HIROMI HIGA knows a lot about skincare. hey man, he can't have his skin breaking out under all that goth makeup now can he? he moisturizes, has a proper routine he follows every single day. if you ask him about it, he will go OFF on what's best to treat your skin for what you want to achieve. he knows how to take care of himself and will make sure you're taking care of yourself too. like he just knows the names of chemicals in certain lotions and shit and it's like "bro wtf" but he really does pay attention to those things. it's not "clown makeup", it's hiromi™ approved
MIYA CHINEN knows a lot about figurines. like where to buy them, how to clean them and make sure they're all in pristine shape. he has a lot of amiibos (those figures they have for nintendo switches) and other miscellaneous figures like pop vinyls and nendoids for his favourite video game & anime characters. they're all decorated around his room and he'll tell you where he got the best deals and how rare each of them are. miya also knows a lot about the dream smp, i don't think i have to explain myself there

A Nice Day Out
Tumblr media
Pairing: Tadashi Kikuchi x Reader
Anime: Sk8 the Infinity
Genre: Fluff
Synopsis: It’s a nice day out, and you decide to spend it outside skating and getting some desserts with your boyfriend.
Warning(s): None
Note: This story was originally uploaded on my Quotev @HeyLookItsYC.
Story is down below!
~
“Please be careful,” Tadashi muttered, watching as you struggled to place your feet on the skateboard. His hands were held out to you, barely hovering over your waist as you gripped onto his shoulders. “I don’t want you getting hurt.”
“I’ll be fine,” you assured him. “I’ve got you here, don’t I?”
His cheeks went slightly pink at your words, and he looked away in embarrassment.
It was a Saturday afternoon; since both you and Tadashi had nothing to do that day, it was decided that the two of you would go out and spend some time together. It was a simple outing; the nice warm weather had made it the perfect day to spend at the skatepark, which was where you were currently at with your boyfriend.
“I think I've got it!” you exclaimed, both feet now on the board. You immediately felt yourself wobble, and your grip on Tadashi’s shoulders tightened. “O-or not…”
“You sure you don’t want to do something else?”
“I want to try this,” you insisted. You allowed yourself to slowly let go of his shoulders, a little bit shaky but still managing to keep your balance. “Okay, I think I’m good.”
“Now use your foot to move yourself forward,” Tadashi instructed.
“Alright.”
You did as you were told, using your right foot to push the board forward. You felt yourself start to move, which caused you to shake a little bit.
“Tadashi!” A bright smile made its way onto your face. “Look! I’m doing it!” You used your right foot again to push yourself forward even more.
“That’s great, my love,” he said, watching you with a smile of his own. That disappeared in a second, however, at the sight of you headed towards a flat rail. “(Y/N), I think you need to-!”
He didn’t even get the chance to finish his sentence, for you had already toppled over.
“(Y/N)!”
~
“Augh…”
“Are you okay?” Tadashi had rushed over to you and was now by your side, on his knees as he looked over you worriedly. “I knew we should’ve done something else…”
“Are you kidding?” You laughed, surprising him. “I might’ve fallen over, but that was still fun, ‘Dashi.”
“You skated for only a few seconds.”
“And it was the best few seconds of my life.”
He sighed, standing back up again. He held out a hand to help you up, using the other to grab his skateboard.
“I think we should stop here for today.”
“Can I watch you skate?”
His eyes widened at your request. The only time that you had ever really seen him skate was during the rare times when you had managed to convince him to bring you out to the skatepark late at night, where it was usually empty.
You stared at him, waiting for his response.
“... if that is what you want,” Tadashi finally said, adjusting the cap on his head. “But only for a few minutes.”
~
“You looked amazing!”
“You’ve told me twice already,” he said, looking a bit embarrassed by your compliment.
It was now a little bit past four in the afternoon; after spending time at the skatepark, the two of you had found a small store nearby that sold desserts. You were now both sitting on a bench just outside of the shop, enjoying the sweets that Tadashi had purchased.
“I’ll never get tired of watching you skate.” You took a bite from the cream bun that you held in your hands, the sugary taste filling your mouth. “You really are talented, ‘Dashi.”
“Thank you.”
It had been awhile since the two of you had a day like this. Tadashi was always busy working under Ainosuke during most of his time, and with the increasing popularity of Joe’s restaurant you were often occupied with coming up with new desserts to add to the menu. Moments like these were rare, since work took up most of your schedules, so you really did appreciate the time that you did get to spend with him.
You glanced at Tadashi, who was staring down with a blank expression. He had his skateboard beneath his feet, mindlessly rolling it back and forth. Despite this, however, it was clear to see that he was relaxed; his eyes, though tired, were filled with content as he stared at his board.
“Hey, ‘Dashi? I have a bite left.” You held out the dessert in your hands. “Do you want it?”
He gave you a small smile. “I have my own snack-”
“Come on, please?”
He hesitated for a moment, but upon seeing your pleading look he gave in.
“Alright.”  He held out a hand to take the snack, only to pause when you shook your head.
“I’ll feed it to you.”
A slight blush formed on his face at your words. You would feed it to him? That thing was only seen in the movies or books; if anything, he was the one who should’ve been feeding you.
“Come on,” you urged, holding the cream bun even closer to him now. “Eat while the filling is still kind of cold. That’s when it tastes best.”
Feeling a bit awkward, he opened his mouth expectedly, only to be startled by you suddenly grabbing him by the jacket collar and pulling him in for a quick kiss. Before he could process what was happening, you had already pulled back and popped the rest of the cream bun into his mouth.
Tadashi stared at you in shock, his usually calm expression now gone.
You couldn’t help the laugh that left your lips, and you pressed another kiss onto his cheek.
“Something to make the dessert extra sweet,” you said.

Tumblr media Tumblr media
Reki drummed his fingers against the edge of his desk, jamming out to the music playing in his headphones. He mouthed along to the words to the song, tapping his foot on the floor. He was designing a new deck right now, waiting for you to arrive at his house. It was finally the weekend and you were spending the night at his house, and he was in an amazing mood. He ran his fingers through his hair, his bangs covering his forehead since it was one of the rare times he wasn’t wearing his signature headband. He leaned back in his chair, looking back around the room. He saw it resting near the pillow on his bed so he stood and padded over to grab it.
He picked it up, and right then the chorus of the song started up and Reki got lost in the music. He was snapping his fingers, shaking his head to flip his hair around, swaying his hips to the music, waving his arms to the beat. But, because of the volume, he didn’t hear you greeting his mom and younger sisters down the hall, and the creak of his bedroom door crack open or even see you poke your head in. Seeing Reki dancing in his room certainly was a sight you didn’t think you would ever see, and you leaned against the door, amused. Reki had actually started singing along to the song, and right in the middle of belting out a note he spun around and came face to face with you, and screamed, making you burst out laughing.
His face immediately turned bright red, and he scratched at his neck, bashfully looking away. You wiped tears from your eyes and set your bag down on the edge of his bed,
“I didn’t know you were so musical, babe”
“You don’t have to make it more embarrassing yknow” you pinched his cheeks and cooed at him
“Aww, is my baby Reki embarrassed? You’re so cute!!” He just shook your hands off and went back to his desk to pout, while you smiled and went up behind him, running your fingers through his hair and pulling it out of his face.
“Yknow, that was one of my favorite songs, I would love to sing and dance with you” He smiles at your words, peeking up at you before sitting up a bit and giving you a quick, sweet kiss.
Tumblr media
Langa tapped his fingers against his desk, staring out the window. It was a calm Saturday afternoon, and all he wanted to do was go skate with you. But, his mom wouldn’t let him leave until he had finished all his work. He thought it was extremely childish, but complied and has been sitting at his desk, his blank, unfinished assignment in front of him. His chin was resting him his palm, gaze shifting down to the page where he started absentmindedly doodling on the page. Before he knew it, he had his very own cute little garden scene on his paper. He knew he should stop, but his hand just kept drawing. It was better than doing the assignment anyway.
Langa had texted you and told you about his predicament and you could already tell how bummed out he was, so you decided instead of just cancelling plans all together, you would just skate to his house and ‘help’ him with his homework. You had told him you were heading over, but in the moment Langa read it as a joke, preying on his misfortune. But, he really hoped you would actually show up, not that he would let you see his creative little animal friends he was sketching out.
You arrived at his home, greeted by his mother at the door. She’s delighted to have you over and tells you she thinks it’s a good idea, that you’ll probably help lift Langa’s spirits. Creeping to his room, you decide to scare him. You peek inside, and see him hunched over his desk, and much to your surprise, he looks like he’s working hard on his assignment.
You quietly walk up behind him, peering over his shoulder and you can’t help but gasp, scaring the living daylights out of the baby blue haired boy. His hand clutched at his chest, trying desperately to calm his rapid heartbeat while you snatched the paper from in front of him, admiring it and aweing over it,
“W-wait when did you get here??”
“Awe! Langa I didn’t know you could draw so well!” He snatched the page from you
“I don’t. I just got a little bored...:”
Then you got a look at his flushed face, leaning into his palm as a way to attempt to hide it form you. A poor attempt, but an attempt nonetheless. You could tell he was embarrassed and leaned down to give him a chaste kiss on the cheek, making him blush even more,
“Love you look so cute with your cheeks all flushed!”
“Why must you say such embarrassing things??”
“I just do it ‘cause I love you!” He just sighed. You could be so difficult sometimes.
‘...I love you too…” You stayed silent, before blurting out,
“So when are you gonna draw me a bunch of cute animals?”

Missed Signals Chapter 3
SUMMARY: Reki is sensitive when it comes to how others perceive him. He tries to be involved but not overly so, he doesn't want to be seen as a nuisance to the rest of the gang when some of them seem busy. Koyomi helps with the manic build-destroy-build energy Reki tries to channel through.
WARNINGS: Nothing too grand, descriptions of ADHD symptoms,
NOTES: I am trying to cope with what I am thinking is undiagnosed ADHD by projecting onto my favorite characters. I mean no harm and no offense.

Reki texted Langa on Saturday. We r gonna sk8 l8er right? The simple I'm busy. I will see you at S tonite. gave him pause, not often was Langa too busy for him and didn't tell him what was going on, Langa was quick to explain what he was doing and invite Reki along. Reki pouted at his phone. OK. C U 2nite then. Reki answered back. He knew that Langa had bad days like everyone else and a life all his own. Reki knew that Nanako even had friends and family in Okinawa, which is why they moved here in the first place. Reki didn't have the monopoly on Langa no matter how much he wished that true. 'I don't own him. He can do whatever he wants. We aren't attached at the hip.' Reki tried to reason with himself but all he can think about is how yesterday at lunch he was too busy talking about a Movie he had recently watched that inspired him to sketch a bit. He remembered interrupting Langa a few times during their breaks and even being more fidgety than usual. 'You talked to much on Friday. Langa needs a break from you. You are too dependent on him, you are smothering him. He needs some time away, deserves it from having to put up with you.'The dark parts of his mind whisper to him. The text did seem overly blunt and dismissive.
Reki shook off the intrusive thoughts, trying to ignore the beginning of anxiety churning in his gut. He can feel the restlessness creeping in; the shaking in his fingers, the urge to pull his hair. Reki bounced on his toes shaking his hands roughly. Reki decided to turn the anxious energy into productive energy. Anything would be better than sitting and stewing in his self-depreciation. He looked around, his room could use a good cleaning and his desk needed re-organized, as did the workshop.
Reki made his way to the kitchen, headphones draped around his neck. "Mom, Langa had to cancel his plans last minute. So I won't be heading out like I planned. So, I am gonna clean my room okay?" Reki grabbed a couple of bags, and cleaner and cloths from under the sink missing the shared look of mild horror from Masae and Koyomi. He darted off once his items were secured.
"You are excused from your chores today for the time being. Please sit with him and keep him on track. Maybe we can prevent him from rearranging his room again. Thank you, dear!" Koyomi was off her stool waving over her shoulder in acknowledgement as she followed Reki to his room. Both the girls were aware what Reki could and couldn't do if left to his own devices. Even if the other person was completely silent their presence was enough to keep Reki focused. Past times of cleaning his room led to the ramp outside his window being built after he tore his bed apart trying to move it, another time ended up with all his clothes on the floor while trying to make a fort in his closet, and their was once a time where he was considering a skylight but was promptly interrupted by Masae before he could get to the roof. Koyomi came in just in time to see Reki strip the sheets off his western style bed( he deemed the floor too hard to sleep on after a day of skating. The rest of the family quickly followed suit upon realizing how comfortable they were). Koyomi only side and put a reminder on her phone to replace his sheets or he would spend the next three days sleeping in a nest of throw blankets and pillows from the living room. Koyomi was 16 not stupid, she knew that Reki snuck out most saturdays for something and he would never remember to put clean sheets on if/when he came home. Reki placed the bundle of sheets in a basket left by his door by Masae. He threw his laundry in too. Masae and the twins loved doing laundry, especially hanging it all outside. He sorted the trash in his room and then put it into bags, then vacuumed before taking a break. 'He is pretty focused on this today. I wonder if something happened.'
Reki took a break, u busy l8er? texted Miya but after a few moments with no response, he began pulling at his fingers, pushing them, rubbing harshly at the joints. He was chewing his lip too, gaze completely focused on his phone. He could hear the voice in the back of his head getting louder again. 'You think a nationally ranked skateboarder has time for you? Miya Chinen doesn't play with slimes like you. He has more important things to worry about.' Reki ignored the voice, trying to logically reason it away. 'He is probably busy. He is an important person. He'll text back any minute now. I should keep working while I wait.' He went over to the mess of skateboarding catalogues he had and began organizing them.
He kept the ones from the current quarter with a note on top to remind him they needed read. He quickly flipped through the others, seeing how most of them had pieces missing threw them away. He put the new ones and the inspiration binder in a drawer in his desk. The binder was full of things Reki and Langa had found interesting or inspiring to try for the future, they had even made a similar one at DopeSketch for customers requesting special commissions or parts for their rig. It was helpful for increasing amount of people coming through from S since Langa had started showing off his new board to anyone who would listen. Reki continued on through his desk, anything not school related went on his bare bed by Koyomi while he sorted through his school things, stacking them with notes to divide them until he could consolidate them further. He had began checking his pens and paints and markers and pencils and sketchbooks for dead ones when his phone caught Koyomi's attention.
"Reki, phone." She said while grabbing his elbow, he flinched slightly even though he knew she was there the entire time. she rolled her eyes at his dramatic double take and slid his headphones off. "Meow-ya texted you back." He snatched the phone up.
Hey slime, I will be there in a few minutes. Langa had said something about you getting a new commission the other day. I wanted to see how that was going. I guess I can entertain you in his stead today. Miya had responded, his message properly typed and punctuated.
Thx. That'll b g8. c u l8er Reki shot back. The three dots were blinking so he waited a bit for Miya's response.
Jeez, learn to text properly. What are you 12?" Miya asked.
No but you r. lol." Reki laughed as he handed Koyomi his phone. "Let him know I am finishing my room if he asks and to just let himself in. I really need to get this done now." Reki nodded once, firmly. His shoulders were stiff and he kept turning slowly in a circle, Koyomi knew he was getting overwhelmed with the prospect of a friend he cared for coming.
"I have something that might help you now and in the future. I got it for you when mom and I went shopping the other day." Koyomi said. She hurried off and got it thrusting it in Reki's hands as he blinked in confusion. "I got you a label maker. That way you can actually organize all your art and skating stuff and not panic when you can't find it later. Since you can never seem to keep track of things, like at all." Koyomi teased with a bright smile. Reki beamed back.
"Thank you so much, Koyomi. This is a huge help. I can't wait to use it. Might have to wait a bit before I get to use it though." Reki told her. The tension seemed to ease in his shoulders. His room was clean and almost finished. He seemed a little more relaxed then he had all morning it seemed to Koyomi.
Until he saw Miya's response to the earlier joke.
I hate you sometimes.
Reki blanched, fingers twisting into painful looking knots in front of him, lips bloodless from where he was biting them so hard.
Koyomi was 16 not stupid. She had meet Miya Chinen once or twice. The 15 year old National Skateboarding team-hopeful was a savage as his mascot. Cute and cuddly and warm one minute and quick to change temperament towards sharp savagery in the blink of an eye. To his friends it was usually softened by closeness, sharp and quick but not violent. Koyomi knew he didn't mean for his comment to hurt Reki the way it seemed to and she knew that had Reki been feeling his usual self he wouldn't have taken it so personally but something had already affected him that much was obvious.
But today those words seemed to hit him harder than usual. Koyomi made to text back but Reki swiped his phone before she could type a letter. His fingers danced over the screen before he tossed it back towards her and moving back to his desk. He returned to organizing his art supplies, trying and failing at nonchalance. He was more subdued than earlier when the idea of the label maker had made him smile. He was testing all his markers and pens, throwing away the used ones but spreading the good ones into a large messy pile on the top of his desk. He undid all if his earlier work and was making a mess that he wouldn't find his way out of anytime soon. He had lost sight of his goal and was spiraling into familiar territory; creation and destruction. Koyomi was surprised he hadn't commented on his desire to rearrange his room yet. 'He had almost finished his desk before Miya's text ruined his train of thought, now he couldn't remember how he was going to sort everything. When he gets agitated or losses his goal he tries to do something often ending up with a room so messy he can't think. He tends to look worse than when he began. I wonder if things like Miya's text set him off.' Koyomi thought. "Reki-bro. Does this happen a lot when you get anxious or feel like you are a burden? Why do you undo everything you worked hard on when things like this happen?" Koyomi asked. Reki looked up from the massive pile of art stuffs. He looked at her wide-eyed and lost. Koyomi felt her small heart break. Her brother was her hero, she only wanted him to see how much everyone loved him.
"What do you mean, Koi? I don't think I am a burden. I can't help wanted to change things, I am not meant to stick to a day after day routine. I get going and then when I come up for air, it looks like this. I don't mean for it to happen, so I don't really know why I do it. I don't even realize I am doing it sometimes. The saying if it ain't broke don't fix it doesn't really apply to me. I pull things apart and then am left with a mess purely by accident and then sometimes I get an idea in my head and I can't not do it. I try to change it for the better and when it doesn't work end up in the same place. It is this weird twitchy energy sometimes." Reki tried his best to explain the reasoning or lack thereof to his sister and when she nodded slowly he knew she wasn't fully grasping the concept that he could barely articulate.
"I don't really get what you are saying." Koyomi began. Reki sighed. "But I want to help. So how about we work on the desk. You keep sorting pens into usable and not and then we can break it down into small groups from there. if we work together we can get it done quick. I just need to know your criteria for each group." Koyomi mimed pulling up her sleeves and stepped up next to Reki. He looked down at his little sister, swallowing hard and blinking the extra moisture from his eyes.
'I barely know what it going on in my head. There are days were even breathing seems to be hard for me, I have to learn that I am not alone. Just like Joe tried to tell me.' Reki sniffed and began testing his supplies. Koyomi broke the mess into simple tools(markers pens pencils) and non simple tools(paints, brushes, paint markers) When that was done she asked for Reki's input. The simple tools got broken down into their broad categories and then from there into the brands/types. Reki's regular pens and pencils were in a spot, his markers and marker pens and brush pens and the like were all sorted and labeled. The same with the brushes and paints and such. With Reki's approval, Koyomi used the label maker to finalize the decisions, causing a bright smile to light up Reki's face.
"Now, you can re-organize your stuff without causing too much issue, cause the containers are movable but the groupings are not. Simple." Koyomi teased. Reki stuck his tongue out at her and finished cleaning his desk off. She grabbed Reki's phone, to see if she could salvage whatever Reki had ruined but the conversation didn't seem to need help.
Sorry. I can handle the commission on my own. I wouldn't want to be a hinderance. You have a lot on your plate as it is. I don't need supervision.Reki had texted Miya with complete sentences and proper puncuation.
The hell? Did you fall and hit you head?
You slime, who told you that you are a hinderance. If I was busy I wouldn't have invited myself to your house.
You know what? I am definitely coming over now. You can't stop me. Something is obviously bothering you and the last time this happened you disappeared. I am not letting that happen again.
Koyomi smiled down at Reki's phone, 'I am so glad he found people to see him.' She had sent a brief text to Langa earlier, giving some details or Reki's latest obstacle. She knew that he had been trying to document everything lately, to better help Reki. He replied with a thank you and a promise to add it to the list.
"All right Reki-bro. I think it looks nice and functional. Now, you can change it if needed but not without me. I have decided I shall be your impulse control when you are at home." Koyomi winked but her comment fell a little flat when Reki winced and blushed.
"Am I so bad that I need babysat? Do I cause that much trouble? No wonder Langa sent Miya to watch me. Who knows what I would have done or not done today if he hadn't. Not that it matters since I told him I am fine without him."
Koyomi watched as the light in Reki's eye dimmed, and he seemed to shrink right in front of her. His shoulders drew up around his ears, he chewed on his lip, digging his nails into his fingers. His attention drifted inwards. Koyomi didn't know what triggered such a change besides the idea of having to be looked after but that didn't seem like the true source of this issue.
Reki could hear with voice in his head growing louder again. 'See you even burden your sister. What a terrible big brother you are. Langa sent someone to watch you because they feel responsible for you since you tag a long so often. They don't really like you. Miya only offered to come because Langa asked him to.'
"Big bro, that isn't what I meant at all. You aren't a child that needs watched or cause trouble. You are a human with quirks that need a safe outlet, one that will actually help and until we figure out what that means, we all want to support you. You have this tendency to not put yourself first or even second. So I want to help you take care of yourself. So does everyone else, because we all love you. Now let's keep going." Together Koyomi and Reki finished organizing and cleaning his room, they didn't even look up when Masae took the dirty clothes and sheets leaving fresh ones for later. Koyomi had stopped to make the bed and Reki finally stopped when Masae knocked on the door. The two of them had cleaned every surface, making the room look fresh and clean.
'Koyomi and Reki I must say, I am impressed. Great job guys. This needed done. Koyomi you were a great help for Reki, proud of you. Reki, Miya is here. Do you want me to send him to the garage? I can make snacks in a bit too." Masae praised her kids, proud to see how well they did.
"I told him he didn't need to come." Reki said to no one. "Can you have him go to the garage. Snacks will be great whenever, mom. Thank you." Reki looked at his clean room, cleaned for the first time in months to this extent but grimaced at the trash and debris on his floor.
"Go. I will finish here. Just promise me, that you'll talk to me or Langa or someone when you need to. I want you to go to your workshop and finish that commission, cause I don't want to here you griping about it later. Have fun with Miya. He cares just as much as the rest of us." Koyomi nudged Reki towards the door, ignoring his half made protests.
Reki looked back at Koyomi only to see her wave him away and shut the door in his face. Reki took the hint and went to his workshop/garage. He stood outside, second-guessing himself. Before he could make a decision the door flung open and Miya Chinen stood angrily in the doorway.
"You idiot slime. I have so many bones to pick with you, I practically have a damn skeleton." Miya reached out fisting his hand in Reki's sweatshirt and yanking him in. Reki held his hands up in a non-threatening gesture stumbling through the doorway.
"Miya, I'm sorry. You didn't have to make time for me because Langa said so. I didn't mean to pull you away from something important." Reki began. Miya had let go of him, watching Reki flap his hands about trying to postpone Miya's temper.
"No. Not accepting apologies right now. I'd like to remind you that you texted me first to see if I could skate but I reminded you about your commission. I reminded you because I remember you and Langa talking about it. You said the sometimes having someone around helps your productivity. I asked Langa if you wouldn't mind if it was me. I didn't want to ask and make you uncomfortable." Miya started. Reki kept quiet, knowing that Miya was only getting warmed up. "At no point was I asked to 'babysit' you. Reki,, to people who really care for you, you will not be a hinderance or a burden. You are my friend. I may tease you rather aggressively, but I don't mean anything by it, so you can start getting those thoughts out of your head. Now, should we discuss what happened today? What might have caused the downward spiral?" Miya asked hesitantly. Reki stayed quiet, studying Miya. Finally Reki sighed, nodding.
"I am not sure." Reki said. He pulled out the longboard commission they had been talking about. 'Langa and I had plans but he cancelled on me last minute, which was unusual. I tried to rationalize it, I don't own him, he has other friends I'm sure and even family here. I am not entitled to his every minute. But I just got stuck in my own head. I know that I can be a lot to tolerate. I forget things, misunderstand things, too loud, obnoxious, I get irritated for no reason sometimes, can't focus or can't not focus. I just thought what if I annoyed him to much and he needed time away and didn't want to say anything. The gang understand as does my family, I need someone to check me when my brain goes to hard. I forget to eat or drink or sleep when I get going. Cleaning can be a chore and even the idea of a shower can be too much, all the little steps that make it up seem insurmountable." As Reki spoke, he seemed to shrink on himself, shoulders drawing up and voice growing muted. He avoided Miya's gaze focusing instead on painted the deck of the longboard. He was very carefully painting a beach boardwalk at sunset on the bottom, currently working on the wooden boardwalk in the foreground. "Hell, If I was Langa I would need a break from a practical delinquent like me. I got him involved in an illegal skateboarding ring ran by a crazy pedophile. I wouldn't be upset if he told me he needed space, I just want to know. I would understand."
"Reki, you don't know, do you? Langa is absolutely head-over-heels for you right. Like there is no one more important in his life than you pardon his mom and most days that is even up in the air. Have you ever thought that Langa came here for a reason?" Miya asked.
"His dad died. Japan doesn't allow dual citizenship. His mom had to come back." Reki answered, missing the point.
"Yes, and Langa still in mourning, in a country half a world away from home, find you and you show him skateboarding. You, this boy, who came out of nowhere to welcome him with open arms, to show him something worth living for." Miya tries to explain. 'You! You are the thing worth living for, you stupid boy.' Miya tried to push telepathically. Unfortunately Reki cannot read minds.
"Oh." Reki blinked. Miya rolled his eyes. waving for Reki to continue. "I just felt unwanted, ignored. Then you said you would come over and I was happy. I hadn't let the bad thoughts win, and I able to breathe again. When you said you hated me, it just brought it all crashing on me again. How was I supposed to just ask a National Team hopeful to drop everything and come to my house. The Olympics are in Tokyo, and Skateboarding is debuting, I want you to do well. I don't want my issues being the reason you miss important training. Langa is my best friend and can't stand me. Everyone is only tolerating me, too nice to say anything. That kind of stuff, a downward spiral. Then you showed up, and threw me for a loop. Knocked some sense into me. However, I know that one day, you'll leave. I will be too much and I'll be alone again." Reki peered closely at the board, touching it up here and there before pulling out a hairdryer. He used the cool air setting to dry the paint a bit faster, trying to avoid cracking and once done, grabbed some sealant then setting it aside to dry.
"I knew you were a slime but I didn't know you were stupid too. We are your friends. We wouldn't leave you or ignore you because we grew annoyed with you. Your personality is what brought us together as friends, as a family. Without you there is no us. We aren't going to wake up one day and drop you. We want to help you, and that means talking to us. All of us. Kaoru and Kojiro care for you too. So does Hiromi and Skokichi. But we can't help you if you don't say anything. I get that is can be hard but we can start small. You did well the other day when you came Sia De Luce when working on schoolwork." Miya patted Reki's shoulder, politely not commenting on the wet sniffles and watery eyes he was trying to hide. "Now, come on. Let's finish this so we can meet up with the others soon. I think you can nail that trick you were trying the other day.'
"Yeah, I like the sound of that." Reki gave Miya a bright albeit small smile and got back to work, drying the sealant and applying another coat drying that as well before begin the assembling process.

Sk8 The Infinity hurt/comfort fanfiction request for @joi-fishie
Please feel free to request something, I’m looking to improve my writing! :)
Word Count: 2167
Warnings: Ad*m
A/N: I kind of hate this because I haven’t written in a long time, also so sorry it took so long, I’ve had a lot of work to do! Also, Miya isn’t at the hospital with them because I wrote a lot of this before episode five came out. I’ve never written a hurt/comfort fic before so this is kind of a mess. ://
"Reki!" the blue-haired boy yelled, rushing over to his friend who lay, motionless, on the rocky ground. "Are you alright?" Langa questioned frantically at the sight of his injured friend. Reki lifted his head slightly to see Langa, blood dripping down his face, "Sorry." the boy croaked out, "I lost." "Don't talk anymore!" Reki dropped his head back to the ground again and shut his eyes, the intense pain in his head causing his vision to blur and his surroundings to spin. "Hey! So, the main course is here." An infuriating voice called as Adam came to a halt on his longboard, dust from the ground forming a cloud around his feet as he glanced down at the pair. "Once again, hello, Little Langa. I can finally skate with you." Adam added with a smirk.
It wasn't what he had planned to be doing at one o'clock on a Saturday morning but Shadow found himself, reluctantly, agreeing to give the boys a lift to the hospital. The drive was tense, Reki rested his head against the cool window of the car, a hand clutching his left arm, it was clear he was in pain but whenever Langa asked, which was every five minutes, the boy painted a small smile onto his face and nodded slightly. Of course, Langa knew he was playing it down, but he didn't want to pester his friend who evidently did not wish to talk at this time. Meanwhile, Shadow drummed a finger against the steering wheel, anxiously waiting for the red lights to fade to amber and eventually green, this was a teenager he barely knew after all. 'S' is illegal and dangerous, there would be no use in trying to contradict that point, everybody who takes part is aware of the risk, yet it still comes as a shock when these situations pop up. Despite barely knowing the kid, he felt it was his obligation to help him, he wasn't just going to abandon the teenagers and leave them to deal with this themselves.
Not wanting to worry his stressed mother, Reki, much to Langa and Shadow's disapproval, refused to call her, and so, Shadow ended up staying with them and acting as Reki's guardian as the doctors treated him. Shadow and Langa waited in the dim hospital corridor, anxiety had tied Langa's stomach into a tight knot and he tapped his foot, anticipating the worst for Reki. He wished he had done more to talk the boy out of this beef with Adam, yet, here they were. Fortunately, the boy only had a small concussion and left with a sling for his fractured arm and a bandage around his head for his, thankfully minor, injury. Out of pity for the teenagers, Shadow dropped the pair off at Reki's house before finally getting to retire to his own home.
Langa helped a limping Reki out of the car and into the house, careful not to wake up his family. "Are you sure you're going to be okay? The doctor did say-" Reki interrupted the boy, a hand clutching his head and squinting, "I'll be fine, it's just a scratch," he smiled weakly. "It's clearly not." the blue-haired boy said as Reki sits on his bed with a grunt. "Anyway, it's almost three in the morning, how would I explain this to my mum?" Langa sighed at his response, "If you're going to be this irresponsible then I'm not leaving until sunrise, the doctor said you have to stay up for the next few hours." Despite Reki's protests, Langa refused to leave the boy in this state and sat himself down cross-legged on the floor. They locked eyes and a few seconds of silence passed before the pair burst into laughter at this bizarre situation they had ended up in. Reki had gone against Adam of all people and made it out with just a small fracture, it was a miracle, and now Langa, a boy who he had been friends with for not much longer than five minutes found himself planted on the floor, refusing to leave. Through giggles, Reki held his uninjured hand to his mouth, attempting to silence himself in order to not disturb his family. Despite his wounded state, the red-haired boy felt content with his life for the first time in a while. Since his friend's accident, he did a good job at hiding it, but there were definitely times in which the teenage boy had felt lonely. Now, that loneliness has been overcome by paranoia. The paranoia that if something were to ever happen, he would lose Langa. If he were to lose somebody for the second time, what- "So what are we going to do?" Langa questioned once his laughter had calmed down, interrupting Reki's train of thought. "What?" The boy says, having been so lost in his head that he hadn't heard his friend. Langa frowned, confused, but quickly dismissed it, "Well we're staying up for the rest of the night, what do you want to do?" Reki paused, looked around his room, a thoughtful expression on his face that soon lit up into an enthusiastic and excited one once his eyes landed on his desk drawer. He leaned over the side of his bed, reaching with his free arm and pulling the entire draw out and placing it next to himself, reaching in and throwing a small object to Langa that he hurriedly caught, his confusion growing more and more by the minute. "A mini skateboard?" he questioned, turning over the small object in his hands. "A Tech Deck." Reki corrected as he grabbed one for himself and sits back proudly, "Let's race." To this, Langa shook his head, chuckling slightly, "Alright then." And so, using various books, duct tape and some old skateboard decks, the boys (mainly Langa due to Reki's injuries) formed a makeshift course for their race, with a ramp leading from the desk, to the chair, to the floor.
On opposite sides of their course, they kneeled, fingers on their tech decks ready to race, they both stared with intense concentration, the only light in the room coming from a desk lamp positioned over their heads and a small ray of shine from the moon that crept in through a small gap between the curtains. Once Reki had whisper-shouted to go, the pair raced, however, quickly, their DIY track failed as the Tech Decks got caught in small gaps and the two foolish teenagers ended up messing around, abandoning the thought of it being competitive. Immediately bursting into laughter once more.
"You know, on a serious note, you really need to stop throwing yourself into beefs, you're going to end up dead someday," Langa said, looking into Reki's happy yet tired eyes as his tone turns serious.  The boy just smiled a little and responded, "But where's the fun in that? You said it yourself, it's not about winning medals and being famous it's about having fun and doing it because you want to." "You're unbelievable," Langa glanced down, noticing Reki had his arm raised slightly and was holding it, "Promise me you'll tell your mum in the morning." Reki groaned jokingly in response, "Reki." Langa warned, "Fine, fine! I promise!" the red-haired boy offers up his pinky finger, "I pinky-promise." Langa stared, unamused, but eventually interlocked his pinky with Reki's and the two boys giggled childishly until it slowly faded out to silence. "What are you going to tell your mum?" Langa questioned, Reki paused before replying, "I'll just tell her I fell off of my board while skating to work, she's used to it anyway." Reki faced Langa with a sympathetic look, "Thanks for tonight,  you really didn't have to do this, Langa," "I wasn't just going to leave you here, I'm surprised you're still conscious after a fall like that, I guess there's a reason why Adam goes undefeated to this day." "Yeah." the red-haired boy agreed.
With time passing, he noticed Langa yawn, raising his arms in the air to stretch, letting out a small groan in the process. "You can sleep here for the night," Reki stated, already standing up and pulling out a spare futon and laying it on the floor before Langa had time to politely protest otherwise.
A few hours passed in which the two talked the night away and the pair concluded it should be okay for Reki to sleep now, so, with Reki in his bed and Langa on the floor, the pair lay in silence trying to fall asleep, "Hey, Langa." Reki croaked out, the other boy hummed to show he was awake and listening, "I'm sorry I lost, I shouldn't have accepted in the first place...now, thanks to me, you're going to have to go up against that psycho." Langa sat up a little, holding himself up with his elbows to look at Reki, "Stop apologising, neither of us knew he was going to do that, I appreciate the thought but focus on yourself." "Okay." Reki muttered in response, turning on his side, facing his bedroom wall, and pulling his duvet up to his chin, "I'll never forgive myself if you get hurt." he whispered with a wavering voice, partially to himself, partially to Langa. Whether his friend heard or not, Reki did not find out, but the fear of it happening ate away at him until the moment he was able to drift off to sleep.
The next morning, Reki awoke groggily, his head felt heavy and he felt nothing but an aching pain in it. Yellow sunlight streamed into the room through the gaps in the green curtains, illuminating the room enough for the boy to see specks of dust floating in the air. He arose a little, reaching out and switching off the desk lamp that was blinding him, assuming he left it on last night by accident. Thinking of last night, everything came flooding back to him, and through squinting eyes, he looked forward to see Langa's blue skateboard resting against the wall. The boy groaned, flopping back into his bed, wanting nothing more than to spend the rest of the day in his comfortable position, however, these blissful-seeming plans were halted as high-pitched giggles filled the air, a screech of laughter followed shortly after. Reki arose from his bed once more, rubbing the sleep from his eyes and stumbling towards his door.
When Reki woke up that morning, he couldn't say he was expecting to see this sight in the kitchen, but here he was, staring right at it with a dumbfounded expression across his face. He locked eyes with his friend, Langa, and the pair stared at each other blankly as Reki processed what was going on. Langa sat, kneeling on the floor, his head being tugged side-to-side. His blue hair had been braided into various messy plaits, each tied with a colourful ribbon. The three guilty culprits stood around their poor victim, who was too polite for his own good. "Good morning, Reki," he stated monotonously. The trio all turned and faced their older brother, small, beady eyes staring at him. Before he could respond, a loud voice spoke, "Reki!" His mother exclaimed, "You've finally decided to join us this morning! How are you feeling? Langa told me all about your fall this morning, I've told you before I don't like you going skating when it's still dark out!" Barely giving him a chance to respond, Reki brushes her off, "I'm fine, mum," he said, moments before being enveloped by her hug, despite the fact he refused to show it, Reki appreciated his optimistic yet over-protective mother, she did worry about him often. He gently pushes her away and distances himself, embarrassed in front of Langa. She sighs at this, “Anyway, now that you're up, Langa was telling us all about Canada, he's great with the girls as well," she says, gesturing to the three little identical children at her feet with a smile brightening up her face. Langa sat, wearing a blank expression as he looked at himself through his phone's camera. Reki sighed and pulled his friend up with his good hand, "Langa's leaving now, you're clearly annoying him," "Don't be like that, Reki!" his mother said but Reki had already led Langa to the door and they headed out to the front garden.
"Sorry about them," Reki rubbed his neck anxiously and smiled awkwardly, reaching forward and pulling one of the ribbons out of Langa's hair, considering he had made no attempt to do so for himself. "You really didn't have to do all of that for me." he looked at his feet, fiddling with the green ribbon in his hand. "I wanted to, Reki," to this, Reki raised his head, Langa was smiling at him, "Really?" "Yes." Reki pulled Langa into a hug, the slightly taller, blue-haired boy was hesitant at first but soon relaxed. This was nice, Reki had thought, hoping things could stay like this forever, hoping he would never lose Langa the same way he lost someone before, hoping the world would stop to allow him to treasure this true happiness for eternity.
Please comment any constructive criticism or requests :)

meme time lads
tagged by @feelingofcontent! Thank you, I appreciate it ^_^
Favorite color - purple and teal
Currently reading - pff I do not have time for READING, I am an *~*~EPIC GAMER~*~*
No but really, I haven’t really read anything, fic included, in - a year, maybe? Whenever I think about it my brain is like, no, thank you! Something else please! I don’t know why. (Could be, you know, the Everything, but a lot of people are reading MORE because of it; eh, i dunno, I was only kinda joking earlier, it’s just not what I turn to for my entertainment, I suppose.) I don’t know what made me start holding fanfic at arms length, but the timing does line up with the breakdown I had last year about it all and ... probably too long an answer for this really sskdjdjdj
Last song - lolllll I checked spotify and it’s ‘me against the music’ by britney/madonna. absolute banger tbh
Last movie - *genuinely* can’t remember. I don’t watch many movies these days. Maybe Christmas movies back in December?? If there have been any since then they clearly haven’t made much of an impact lmao
Last series - We’re watching Legend of Korra and SK8 in Caracal Time, and just finished ATLA (though I had already seen that back when it came out).
Sweet, savory, or spicy - I like all three but my sweet tooth is legendary. I only really have sweet teeth honestly.
Craving - loads of junk, I suppose. I’m trying to eat *slightly* better so I don’t have to replace all of my clothes, but obviously I still want it. Sigh, the eternal struggle. Why can’t I be obsessed with salad or something like some of my weird friends.
Tea and coffee - COFFEE. Yeah, I’m one of those lame millennials who loves coffee and practically makes it part of my personality, and what about it??
But, ok, you know, it’s not *just* ‘I need the jolt in the morning or I can’t function lolol’ - I genuinely like and enjoy coffee as a drink, I love the taste (when it’s good) - I know loads of people don’t even like it and just chug it down to stay awake but I love it, and savour it… I used to get one at a coffee shop every morning on the way to work and now I make it myself at home, but either way it’s always one of the most enjoyable parts of my morning - and mornings are shitty, anything that makes them better is ok in my book. But even when it’s the weekend and I’m better-rested, I still love it … one of my favourite times of the week is Saturday, when I get up having actually had all the sleep I wanted rather than whatever was mandated by capitalism, and I have 2 free days ahead of me and I’m just enjoying my coffee. It’s good.
Oh and I need the jolt in the morning or I can’t function lolol.
Currently working on - oh this this about actually managing to create things? Hahahaha, what’s that like? Couldn’t be me. (Though for what it’s worth, I don’t actually have any ideas, rather than having ideas and procrastinating on them which is my usual MO.) Anyway, not sure if it counts but I’m currently working on a completionist playthrough of a game that came out recently. That probably doesn’t count, but like most things I love I’m not especially casual about it, it is entirely taking over my life, as it has been doing on and off for the last decade. Fandoms eh??

My current obsession, however, isn't jujutsu kaisen but SK8! I'm so hung up on it that it's the only thing I've been talking about hehe

Notice me here after speaking on the phone. Then I jumped over a bucket and it froze on the air. Then the credit runs saying “Watch out for my stupid sk8 products...” and then I unfroze and landed on the ground.   Doesn’t it feels like Dejavu of some kind.   Like, where have I seen that before? Kind of thing.   Well, I could mention one example of it like if you’ve seen THE BREAKFAST CLUB. There was a bunch of highschool students who have to go to school on a weekend for their detention room time cause I wouldn’t know why; just that they’ve broke some school rules and they have to go to detention room as a form of punishment.   So the school was empty cause it’s Saturday and only these bunch of students: two girls three boys.   Then the principal was the one watching over them and since he had a lot to do, he’d leave them on the detention room and that time the detention room was the library.   Then the principal would just like check on them from time to time and while the principal was at his office, the kids are doing a lot of crazy stuff and then since they are all sort of from different clique at school, cause there’s the NERD, THE QUARTER BACK, THE POPULAR CHICK, THE ROCK N ROLL GUY and then there’s the check that was a BASKET CASE or something cause she said she’s like a theif or something.
Then they ended up talking sometimes and talked about their problems about each other and being not able to notice each other at school cause they’re like from different clique at school. There’s the popular one’s like the quarterback played by ANDY GARCIA and then the popular chick played by A HOT CHICK of the eighties movie. Then there’s the losers the ROCK N ROLL GUY and the NERD and the BASKET CASE CHICK. I forgot their names since the movie was in the eighties.   Then they sort of argued because the losers said they ( the popular one’s and beautiful) are like the cruelest people on earth cause they’re perfect and then the popular felt insulted and argued that they are not; they’re just human like them and get hurt like them and have problems like them and the ROCK N ROLL GUY sort of made the PROM QUEEN cried because of how he accused her of being heartless for being beautiful.   The NERD cried too and then they all cried I think cause they have to tell their story for being who they are at school.   Then the PROM QUEEN fell in-love with the ROCK N ROLL GUY and at the end of the movie, the PROM QUEEN gave one of her diamond earring and then she drove off with her father on their car and he was just the only one left cause no one picked him up cause his father was these rude father and beats him up that’s why he’s like a bully in school.   Then he puts on the diamond earring on his ear and then he walked into the field and the music starts to play. “DON’T YOU FORGET ABOUT ME.” by the EIGHTIES BAND THAT I FORGOT THE NAME.   I lost it on my iPhone too and I’d have to buy another one after I pay my credit card bills.   Then theme song played and then right after he got to the middle of the field, he jumped and then he froze in the air.   And then I felt a since of dejavu after watching the movie and then the video I recently made the COLLEGE DROP OUT.   Well, consider this video that I have already starred on my own teen movie and then I am a skater here and after the climax of the story, the evil villain is put behind bars, then before the end of the movie after kissing my leading lady, I have my skateboard run cause I am a skater in the movie and then after the last trick, then I’d like do a backside 180 ollie on top of a hydrant these time and then I freeze on air and then the credit runs with as the song ends and another song starts possibly some rock n roll songs for it.   Wow, what a great way to imagine a movie of your own isn’t it? Like these video I made and I did a little acting and stuff like just talking on the phone about my hair.   MOM, PLEASE, I DON’T WANT TO CUT MY HAIR, I DON’T CARE IF I DON’T FINISH HIGHSCHOOL, I ALREADY LEARNED A LOT ABOUT LIFE FROM SKATING THAN IN SCHOOL.   That’s such a great line for a movie too.   And then I was actually trying to write that time either and the camera was rolling after video taping me with a drink showing off to friends what I’ve been drinking on facebook.   So for now, I haven’t sold my script, well, as far as I could go to enjoy my movie where I starred in it, enjoy the credits and the nice frozen ending of my skate run at the end of my skate movie before the credit runs and my favorite rock n roll songs are playing on it.
