Commission of a bloomburrow-ified Sorin Markov for @baronvonchop!!!

Since a vampire bat would be the obvious choice (honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if we did see a vampire bat Sorin, or at least if someone else has drawn that), we went with something a bit more subversive, if still fitting: a white ermine (the weasel variety, not the moth)

From what I know of them, the elegant appearance of stoats belies their status as a fearsome predator to other small animals. The pale coat and beady eyes of this particular species felt like a good fit visually, too.

But I just love how weird Rat looks!! In my latest drawings of them I also imagine LMG just gives them crappy swag shirts to wear or scrap from the city/contractors that didn't make it so Rat's cool shirt is probably unrealistic lol

D'Artagnan's early characterization is so masterful, he gets so mad at a guy making fun of his horse that he goes insane and gets his ass thoroughly beaten up, before turning around and selling the horse as soon as he needs money despite being asked specifically by his father not to do that. It tells us everything we need to know about him which is that having an overwhelming amount of pride doesn't mean he has any sort of morals or dignity
