A black eyed and veined demon crouched over Arthur, a long wicked blade shining in the moonlight that had been stashed below a pillow. Two yellow eyed snarling dogs standing around them their hackles raised. And then there's Arthur just laying there not even worried, his hand caressing lovingly MC's strained leg who's ready to jump on moments notice.

luke’s entire body weight was currently resting on top of your body. the sounds of the movers the poisoned mercury team hired were making a ruckus outside of your room, hauling and tossing the random items the boys accumulated over the summer. the boys’ bags were packed, outside the cabin’s door, waiting to be thrown into the back of their tour bus.

you chuckled, running your fingers through his mess of curls, which proved to be the wrong move as it made luke bury his head even deeper into your neck. you placed a soft kiss on his head, “c’mon, pretty boy. you gotta get up.”

“can i just hide in here? maybe they won’t notice im not in the bus and i can stay here a little longer.”

you snorted, feeling a sense of longing erupt in your chest. you were feeling the same way as luke. you didn’t want him to go. you didn’t want to go. “i think they’ll notice the lead isn’t in the bus, luke.”

"luke? where are you?"

luke's head perked up at the sound of his mom's voice echoing through the cabin. he groaned, placing a quick kiss on your lips before he got up. he knew that his time was up and he would have to get on the tour bus soon. he'd see you soon, hopefully. he didn't know the band's schedule yet and you still haven't gotten word on whether or not you were playing this season, so the next time the two of you would see each other was still up in the air.

you froze as you heard may's voice. you'd been so caught up in wanting to treasure the last few moments you had with luke that you completely forgot that you'd have to see may and explain what this was. you'd met her before, sure, but it was a brief introduction and it was before you became luke's girlfriend. it seemed like she liked you enough, but now that the circumstances have changed, you weren't so sure.

"babe?" luke asked, tilting his head in question as he placed his hand on the doorknob of your door to open it. "you coming?"

"does your mom know about us?"

he blushed, rubbing the back of his neck with his hand, "yeah, i kinda told her. are you mad?"

you quickly shook your head, "no, no. i'm just--uh, nervous, i guess?"

luke walked back to your bed, grabbing your head in his hands as he peppered kisses all over your face, "nervous? for what?"

"what if she doesn't like me?"

luke let out a loud laugh, a goofy grin appearing on his lips, "you're funny. come on, five star. i only got a few more minutes with you and you're not leaving my side 'til then."

reluctantly, you got up from your bed and accepted luke's outstretched hand. he laced your fingers together, giving your hand a light squeeze as he opened the door to greet his mom. luke smiled widely when he saw his mom poking her head into luke's bedroom, trying to look for him. "mama!"

may turned around, smiling at the sound of her son's voice, then her eyes immediately darted down to your intertwined hands and the sheepish look on your face. her eyebrows shot up in surprise and walked over to the two of you, "there you are, been looking everywhere for you. the boys are already in the bus."

luke let go of your hand for a moment to give his mom a hug, then quickly returned to your side to wrap an arm around your waist. he looked down at you, eyes twinkling with fondness, "mama, you know y/n."

you rubbed the sweat off your palm on the fabric of your jeans, "nice to see you again, mrs. castellan."

"oh, don't do that," she rolled her eyes, pulling you in for a hug, "mama c is fine, or may, whatever you prefer."

"oh, uh, okay," you chuckled, awkwardly, feeling strangely welcomed by her simple act of kindness. may castellan's hugs felt like home. no wonder the boys adored her so much. "nice to see you again, mama c."

"so i reckon this is why we've been waiting for you for ten minutes?" she turned to luke, an eyebrow raised. she had a teasing smile on her face and it was a familiar look. luke got his smile from his mother.

"yeah," luke flushed, "sorry, don't wanna leave yet."

"mhm," may hummed. she turned to you, smiling at you in a way that made your heart hammer in your chest. there was no judgment in her eyes but she was still your boyfriend's mom and your mind was thinking of all the things she could point out about you that would have you spiraling. "he treating you right?"

you blinked, not expecting those words from her. you looked at luke for some guidance on what is the appropriate response, but he was unhelpful. he just looked at you with a dopey smile, a small part of him enjoying watching you all flustered around his mom. luke pressed a kiss to your temple.

"come on, mom. you know i do. you raised me well."

may laughed, "damn straight."

"five star here, was nervous to see you again," luke said, making your eyes widen and involuntarily hit him lightly on his bicep. you received a fake 'ow' in return.

"no need to be nervous, y/n," may replied, casting away any doubts you had in your head with a hand on your shoulder. "this one doesn't shut up about you and it's all good things."

you turned to luke, scrunching your face up in glee, "you talk about me?"

he rolled his eyes playfully, "mom, you're embarrassing me."

"that's my job, kid," may shrugged, turning to you again. "he just goes on and on about you sometimes."

"okay, that's enough," he groaned. the band's publicist was calling him over so he muttered a quick "be right back" in your ear before he left you with his mom. luke turned around as he was walking away, "mom, please don't say anything else while i'm gone."

"no promises!" she called back, chuckling as luke shook his head, accepting defeat. may motioned for you to sit on the couch with her for a second while luke chatted with their publicist about their upcoming schedule. she sat across from you, "he's real happy, you know."

you blushed, playing with the throw pillow on the couch, "yeah, camp had a good effect on him."

"not camp," she shook her head, "you did."

when you looked back at her face, you were almost overwhelmed by the sincerity in her eyes. she continued, "i haven't seen him like this since well, ever. it looks good on him, don't you think?"

you agreed, "it does."

"i hope i'm not overstepping here when i tell you this, but when he first told me about you, it felt different," she explained, pausing for a moment as she tried to conjure up the right words to say next, "as a parent, you can feel it when something shifts with your kid. i felt it when his dad left. i felt it when he got the call about the record deal. i felt it when they played their first sold-out show. i felt it when the fame started getting to him. and i felt it when he called me to tell me about this girl who gave him such a hard time at camp."

"yeah, sorry about that," you cringed.

may laughed, placing a hand on yours again, "no, y/n. don't ever apologize for that. something clicked in my head when he first told me about you and it's a feeling i didn't think i'd ever feel when it came to luke. he's the sweetest kid, but he hasn't made the best decisions when it comes to dating."

"having this much freedom and access to the world at his age will do that to someone, i suppose. but when he started talking about you, i don't know. i knew it was different."

"for what it's worth, i feel the same way about him," you said, eyes finding luke's. he gave you a small smile.

"good," she squeezed your hand and got up, "it was nice to see you again. i hope i get to see you at a few shows soon."

🥣 anons back! (Did I submit an ask for both of your accounts? Maybe.) SO we all know that scene where Sky is playing his harp because he misses Zelda, so assuming he would do the same for reader when he misses them, how would the rest of the boys cope with missing their dear, sweet reader?

Okay okay okay— Sky with the harp. Playing songs that his partner always used to request from him. Songs that they love. Yes. 100%.

Four, I think, would hold onto something physical of his partner’s. Keeping a little trinket of some sort that they made for him, or wrote, or drew. Loves reading it every night if it’s a writing, or memorising every detail of it if it’s a drawing. If it’s a physical trinket, he will 100% hold it in his sleep. He once physically slapped Wars when the captain tried to take it, and since then, no one has gone anywhere near his bag.

Time, I think, would pick flowers. No one ever remarks on it, nor do they ever try to ask him what he’s doing. They tried, once, but never managed to will up the courage to do it when they saw the sad look in his eyes. When his longing for his partner is really bad, he will carry the flower as they walk, and will literally get sad if he loses it. Then, proceeds to find another one. It’s the only time they ever really see him as the child hero he once was, because the way he picks flowers, looking for them even, is just so soft and small that they often find it hard to believe that this is their Old Man.

Legend wouldn’t do much, I think. At least, not so obviously. He strikes me as the kind to just stare up at the sky, or over the land, or out across the sea. Just staring out, hoping that, in whatever timeline his partner was in or where he’d left them, that they were looking out over the same view as he was. He hates the feeling of missing people, thanks to Koholint, but the feeling of missing his partner back home is an oddly nostalgic, sweet feeling. If the day is particularly bad, he’ll draw in the dirt, or mud, or sand.

Twilight, in my mind, would try to just distract himself in nature. In whatever way he can. Though, if it’s dark, he will find or make a source of light. Man cannot be in the dark if he’s missing his partner, because it sends his mind down a spiralling path of whether or not he’ll see them again. It only got worse after he’d gotten wounded by the Shadow. Most days/nights when he misses his partner, he will stare into the light, or look up at the sky.

Hyrule, when he misses his partner, will make an attempt to be as close to any member of the group as he can. Unlike the others, he likes the comfort of being near another person, and finding comfort in their company. He won’t be clingy or anything like that, but he will remain close to someone. His favourites to be around are Wild and Four, surprisingly enough, when he misses his partner. He finds joy in being able to talk and laugh with them, to somewhat fill the void of his partner’s absence from his side.

Wind, I think, would clutch something on his own person. Either his sister’s telescope, or maybe the fairy pendant, or even just twisting his hands. It doesn’t help much, but if he tries hard enough, he can kinda imagine that it’s his partner’s hand he’s holding, or maybe his partner’s curious examination of his things. He relies mostly on his thoughts and memories to soothe his longing, though the things that helps most is to just sit on the beach, under the sun, if they’re close enough to one for him to be able to do so.

Warriors’ habits when he misses his partner, are to forgo maintaining himself. It’s a jarring and odd sight for the rest of the boys, for sure, when the day or days come when Wars walks around with his hair disheveled from sleep, or his shirt untucked, or wearing his scarf lopsided or haphazardly. It was so weird the first time. But as it happens a bit more often, he actually willingly explains that it is because he misses his partner. That also surprises them, and understandably so. He explains that his partner would oftentimes help him in the morning, when he was too tired to do so himself. Combing his hair back, or fixing his collar, or adjusting his scarf. No one says anything more on the matter…though sometimes they’ll help him by fixing his scarf, or collar for him. They leave the hair, though.

Finally, as for when Wild misses his partner, he will be, on those particular days, calm. If he’s reckless and headstrong with his brothers, then he’s even worse with his partner back home. Though when he finds that he misses them, he will take it back a level, or three. Because he wants to make sure, more so on those days than on any other, that he can make it back to them alive. Or, when it’s already a calm day, he’ll make their favourite food for dinner. Or a special dessert.

I had a thought that does not make sense

Like that seems fun but what would that be?

Another voice? A voice for the princess? Some other magical third thing?

So many possibilities yet none at all it feels like

HONESTLY I HAVE THOUGHT THIS BEFORE. It really does seem more difficult for this fandom than most others I've been in! That said, there are a few possibilities that I did come up with after a bit of thought:

Another form of the Princess, either a new Chapter II form (that either branches into an already-existing Chapter III form -- like how both The Spectre and The Nightmare go into The Wraith, both The Tower and The Adversary go into The Fury, both The Beast and The Witch go into The Wild, etc. -- or that comes with its own new Chapter III form, so like two OC Princesses for the price of one!) or a new Chapter III form that branches off from one of the existing Chapter II Princesses.

Another Voice for the Protagonist! Either linked to the above (so a second or third OC for the price of one...) or some Voice that's an odd circumstance like... if you manage to sort of "break the game" by somehow getting to The Wild from The Tower, how in the world would that even happen and what new Voice might come along with that?

In a complete AU situation where the Protagonist and the Princess switch places, if the Princess gets any voices in her own head -- one or several -- what would they be like if they aren't simply identical (or close to identical) to the canon ones that the Protagonist has? Or if the Protagonist takes on other forms, what would they be like? (In this case I'd be tempted to simply tweak the Princess's forms into Voices and vice-versa somehow, and I'm not sure if those would count as OCs or just heavily AU versions, but it'd be very possible to OC it I think!)

In a complete AU situation where the (pre-)Narrator split the universal forces into more than just two beings. Who might exist other than the Long Quiet and the Shifting Mound? What roles might they play in this scenario? This one might actually be the most complicated option and necessitate the most finagling and worldbuilding.

Just People Out In The World. Sure, you could go OC with "Who was the person who made the Narrator/the Echoes? What was his story?" but like. What are the regular people like before he did this/while this was all going on? Or what are the people like in the new world that the Long Quiet creates if you go with the ending where they do kill the Shifting Mound? Or what kind of people do the Protag and the Princess meet when they leave together -- how do people react to the Stranger version of the Princess in that ending? I think there's a lot of room for play in here, though it's a... less usual and maybe less "interesting" kind of OC in the sense that it's entirely removed from the adventures going on in the game itself.

How it play out? How will Megatron and Jack talk about it? How does Miko and Bulkhead look in that cave scene SO MUCH QUESTIONS

WOW MY FIRST ASK! NOW THIS IS SPECIAL!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS AND SORRY FOR REPLYING SO LATE!

So, I have originally thought about drawing for this idea but I got too many things on my plates lately that that plan is simply not possible. I also don’t know what to draw for it too so I’ve decided the best idea is to answer you straight on! Basically to answer some of them and to sum things up the best way as I can: Megatron was REALLY curious about how the Pixie’s mind works. For the longest time Megatron believes them to be simply mindless and primitive creatures like bugs, and couldn’t care about them less. But when he learned that Optimus seemed to be really fascinated by these creatures and grew protective over them, he gets more curious because he knew a simple bug or a rat isn’t enough to fascinate Optimus to that degree, so he wondered about the charms these creatures had that could make a fascinated child out of Optimus. He had his conversation with Jack because he wanted to see just how smart a Pixie is, how their minds work, and how much Jack knows about Optimus.

The results are more than surprising to Megatron, but not at all unexpected, as Jack made the exact decision Optimus would have, and he was aware of that. This not only showed that Jack have a sense of morality but also is capable of understanding and reading human minds, and this answered a lot of questions Megatron had. Would Megatron show empathy to the pixies from now on? No he would not. But was he very entertained by the results? Absolutely.

As for Bulkhead and Miko, things were way more dire on their side since both of them requires oxygen now and could suffocate. Bulkhead also later ended having both of his arms and two ribs fractured from holding up the boulder. When he had to be bedridden for weeks and had casts on both of his arms for an even longer time (Arcee commented that he looked like a Minecraft villager), and Miko insisted on staying by his side the whole time, to the point she eventually built a little nest on his cast. She felt really guilty for what happened to her giant friend, and also feared that she could be captured by that scary skinny giant (Starscream) if she left his side for too long again. Ratchet tried to pick her off like a mouse a few times cause he’s worried Miko’s present might hinder Bulkhead’s recovery, but Miko would hiss at him, even threatened to bite him, everytime, so he eventually gave up.

Starscream, on the other hand, had to be bedridden even longer cause he not only also got fractured arms and ribs from the boulder as well (Megatron only allowed some Vehicons to come and save him after Starscream was on the brink of death) he totally was also bitten by Miko like a bean bag. I might add that Pixie Miko have some poison like wasps, that’s why her colors are so bright, and she probably also didn’t belonged in the desert, maybe a jungle pixie or something that came here for adventure. So Starscream was totally messed up. Knockout even suggested to amputate one of his arms at one point based on how swollen it was from the poison, and it was only a miracle that SS ended up keeping it.

Yeah. I really LOVE asks like these, cause my Pixie AU is my favourite AU by far! So PLEASE ANON ask anything you like about this AU! For some time, what I liked the most about Lily (and the basis for my characterization of her) was that she had ended her friendship with Snape. Not in a vindictive, I-Hate-Him-And-He-Deserves-The-Worst type of way, but in a "I'm so glad she realized their friendship had became toxic at that point and she made the right choice for herself and cut him off". I really admired her capacity to stand up for herself, you know?

What do you think about their friendship?

I’m really interested in Lily’s friendship with Snape. I get that he was the first peer who (unlike her sister) accepted her as a witch and despite it. He explained what Hogwarts would be like and made her feel excited and less nervous about going. He was clearly very taken with her (as a friend initially anyway), and reassured her (massive lie) that being a muggleborn wouldn’t matter.

But…

The thing is, we know that at the very start of his friendship with Lily:

He was mean to Petunia, and purposely dropped a branch on top of her

He knew more dark magic going into Hogwarts than most 7th years (source: Sirius Black)

He got sorted into slytherin and we know by the end of 5th year he was:

Friends with wannabe Death Eaters

Friends with Lucius Malfoy (that’s from a younger age as he was older and left school years beforehand)

Making up very vicious/dangerous dark magic spells like sectumsempra and using it on “enemies”

Making up other less vicious but still not pleasant spells like Levicorpus

Hanging out with bigoted wankers who called muggleborn students slurs and he was also doing this too (except not to Lily)

Hanging out with Death Eater wannabes who attacked Mary McDonald and calling the attack with dark magic a bit of a joke

Trying to out Remus Lupin for being a werewolf

In what universe did it take Lily (who we know was clever, cheeky, popular, stood up to other popular people like the marauders) so long to figure out her friend was a supremacist arsehole who she needs to ditch goodo, in fact, yesterday???

How do we understand this serious lapse in judgement/blind spot when it came to Snape?

I have some ideas…

What if Lily is really loyal to her friends to the same degree as James? Imagine someone trying to warn James that one of his best friends was a bad guy - he wouldn’t believe it (eh, wait, that’s exactly what happened, it was clear SOMEONE was the spy and it being a friend of his wasn’t a runner!!) - she regards it as the height of dishonour to mistrust her friends. Presumably Snape keeps some of his least savoury elements hidden from her (although by the time of SWM in 5th year she is aware of eg his calling people mudbloods etc) and she refuses to believe he’s gotten THAT bad.

She has a soft spot for the underdog. Snape is a kind of underdog - very obviously poor and halfblood in slytherin, a bit of an easy target for bullies, not good looking, grumpy, a bit painful personality wise etc. She stands up for him immediately as soon as James and Snape go after him. And she immediately stands up for Remus when Snape tries to say he’s a werewolf etc. Of course, James Rich Boy Mollycoddled Doted-On Quidditch-Star Clever Clogs Top of His Class Fleamont Pooter is the literal polar opposite of an underdog (you’re fucked, Potter)

We are told she’s kind, it’s a defining feature of her personality - so probably she makes excuses for him - hang on, she says it herself, she makes excuses and stands up for him and defends him to her other friends despite the shit-ton of evidence that this guy is bad news for too long… until she can’t

When SWM happens, she’s confronted with the ugly truth that her friendship with Snape is beyond redemption. It’s very hard to admit that and let go of a relationship- platonic or romantic - that you’ve invested in for years. HE WAS HER BEST FRIEND- that’s like James realising Sirius is a Voldy supporter and ditching him. Just because we in this fandom hate Snape doesn’t mean she did.

And Lily does that. When it finally hits her (late, in my opinion, because of the above reasons), she makes the right choice for herself and cuts him out. She doesn’t give into him when he refuses to go away and tries to get her to still be friends with her outside Gryffindor Tower. She sticks to her (right) decision and I applaud her for that difficult but really sensible, insightful decision. I think that’s proof that Lily is not a walk-over. It takes her ages to realise who Snape has become but when she gets it, she acts. And I love her for it. She did the right thing for herself I completely agree 🥺♥️

He needs someone who constantly to test who he is, that makes him question all he’s learned.

Someone he can share his path with and find space for himself in his heart as he grows with this person.

He needs someone who’s willing to give him a firm whack over the head when he needs it.

Jon needs someone who doesn’t have to pretend that they love him or feel like they have to prove it to him. He needs someone who simply does and makes him feel it in his heart that they adore and appreciate them. I LOVE grian in scar’s shirts that is and always will be one of my favorite things in the world okay. okay so the imagine of the night prior, of scar between grian’s legs, kissing the inside of his thighs, biting the soft skin there and putting attention to each leg… scar’s shirt the following morning, almost highlighting those marks, forcing them on display… that drives me insane omg

and like, I don’t think grian is exactly swimming in scar’s shirt either. like no matter the au or world they’re in, grian is fucking Built. he’s a builder. he has wings. his upper body strength and muscle is there. and yeah scar is taller, his shoulder width is a bit longer, so the shirt isn’t a perfect fit. but it fits well enough. grian in scar’s shirt is absolutely one of scar’s favorite sights in the whole world. because y’know what it’s hot as hell

and ???? omg yes I absolutely think that scar uses a feather on grian. it embarrasses grian a bit because that feather is his gift to scar and it’s for scar, not him. but then scar is kissing it, dragging it along grian’s body as if to cover him in their mutual love and grian becomes a puddle of goo. the feather tickles him, but there’s something so soft about the contact, something that makes him even more sensitive to scar’s touch. and yeah when grian kisses him it’s with this intensity to become one. because it isn’t enough, grian needs them to be connected in whatever way they can be because he loves scar so damn much

Oh you know me so well annon im a sucker for angst MUAHHAHAHF hmm let’s see…

- They both live with chronic pain, especially Raven that suffers phantom pain sometimes on her back due to the spine injury she gotten back then, there are times where it gets so bad that nothing could help(the meds, warm press, massages etc) and Price had to watch her tremble and sob quietly, essentially watching her suffer the pain helplessly

- In the case for Price, there are nights where joint pain makes him cranky and grumpy, unintentionally being harshier than usual, although he doesn’t snap at Raven and be on his best around her, sometimes he wants to be left alone and sleep on the couch by himself, which makes him guilty

- They both live with the fact that they can’t have kids ever for multitude of reasons, but deep inside they do want one of their own, especially when they babysit my friend’s oc’s baby one time

- The history of Raven past will forever remain a thorn in them, the extended and full story of her background was never fully discussed between them as much as Price wants to completely erase Cobra off the world, its a touchy subject that Price accepts he’ll never know
