Six Sentence Sunday (2/18/24)

Happy Sunday!

Yesterday was @zaharadessert's birthday (Happy Birthday!!!), and I didn't remember until late in the day, so I shared a sneak peek of something with her to make up for my forgetfulness. Well, her reaction to the sneak peek got my muse going and I am happy to say I have dusted off the sequel to In the Company of Demons and I have begun working on it once more.

So, here is a quick six(ish)sentence snippet from the yet to be titled sequel that might actually see the light of day some time this year fingers crossed. Enjoy!

“Move in with me,” he said, not for the first time as of late, his lips and hand doing their best to sell the idea to her. “You live on a boat,” she countered while bracing herself for the expected response.  It didn’t stop a hiss from escaping her lips when his palm slapped the tender flesh of her rump. “She’s a ship,” he admonished, running his hand over her skin and soothing the sting from his palm with a gentle caress. “But you know that, don't you darling? May naughty Swan, you’re just trying to provoke me.” He slipped his hand back between her thighs and shifted their position slightly. “Tell me you don’t want to wake up each morning like this?"

I was reading Legendborn for a literature class i had in term 2 and to make reading more interesting cause I don't do it often I imagined all the characters as ponies.

My memory is shitty so I had to write everyone down but this helped so much. I never realized how many characters fit the main cast so well
