Someone asked me why I shipped Chair and it couldn’t be because they’re better together, bc Chuck is awful and Blair is worse when she’s with him. And I’d have to agree. They’re both pretty awful, even at their most evolved selves they’re still pretty bad. Now this may sound crazy, but I think they’re perfect together bc of the fact that they’re both terrible. Thanks for answering my question. Just to clarify I brought up sex because they made Chair so much about sex and lust. Dair had chemistry and made them titillating enough to fit the show’s brand especially the elevator sex scene, but minus the emotional manipulation and abuse. They had everything you could want in a ship and then snatched it away.

Oh yes, very good point. With 🪑 it seemed like their magnetic, sexual chemistry was the be all end all, but it was more told than shown. And when compared to *waves hand at The Elevator Scene™️* it doesn’t hold up.
