anyway uh sorry if I haven't been posting much content. I'm on my 48 hour work week and I've had very little time. I feel kinda bad. I want to be drawing but I can't. haven't been able to engage with any of my interests and I feel like they're slipping and it's making me feel decrepit and like the inside of my skull is hollow and flaky. i feel like I want to socialize but I also know I don't have the energy for it and I'm really not built for it. I wish I could draw more. I think content creation IS my comfortable way of socializing and so to not be able to do it is making my brain weird. Or maybe it's just past 10pm so I'm insane. Anyway sorry. hrhrgrgfhfhdbbbbll. Bashes my brain against the cabinets

Hello, there! I’m glad to hear that you’re enjoying my silly little writings! Of course I can write something like that. I hope this is to your liking!

Batter and a Clumsy Reader

As endearing as your being clumsy was, it meant you were bound to be in greater danger, especially in a world filled with aggressive spectres. Batter realised that quite early on. This trait of yours was definitely worrisome, especially in the beginning, when he hadn’t known you that well yet.

From time to time when you would return, he would find new bruises on you, even though you weren’t always able to respond with where you had gotten them from. Not for any reason in particular, your memory simply failed you when you tried to recall. Although small, he did what he could to make them go away, offering a Luck Ticket or using one of his competences on you. You were his Puppeteer, while you were to guide him, he was to protect you.

It was only when you were taking a closer look at the Leo-card while strolling through zone 1 and it was blown away by a gust of wind that proper danger drew near. Running after the small item, spectres appeared right in front of you. Batter immediately aided you and Alpha in battle, making mincemeat out of the phantoms just in time before anything too serious could happen. Ever since then, he had been keeping an even closer eye on you, staying as close to you as possible.

Though, your clumsiness didn’t always result in injuries. While in the mall of Bismark, you tripped over one of the bottles of smoke on the ground. Due to his fast reflexes, Batter was capable of catching you before you hit the ground. Thanking him, you gave him a smile. His response was to simply tell you to be more careful, even if, deep down, he did wish to have an excuse to hold you again.

This plea of his got answered, however, in that he would pull you away from an object or the environment when you were about to run into either. He may not have shown it too much, but he was happy to have had a reason to be this close to you. All the while keeping you safe, he was able to fulfil his own desire for proximity.

seriously have been thinking about this all night long. call me autistic but the fact that 90% of workplaces the point is not to get your work done and then be done doing it but to instead perform an elaborate social dance in which you find something to do even when you're done doing everything you need to do in order to show your fellow workers that you, too, are Working . because you are at Work . disgusting why cant we all agree that if there is no work immediately to be done. we just dont do anything

#i personally like to not be doing things constantly at all times. it stresses me out #i know there are ppl who thrive on cosntant activity #but me i like to chill out.#and the problem then becomes that i only ACTIVELY remember to do work and Find More Work To Do when im stressed #at the thought that others might want to see me working #if im ever relaxed i just dont look for stuff to do #catch 22 of modern work culture which permeates even ostensibly noncapitalist structures like public libraries #for instance: will it really kill anybody if the books get shelved by me now after a very busy day?#or shelved tomorrow morning by. well probably me since i'll be the one at the desk #not in the slightest #but it was work that wasnt being immediately done by me. therefore it was incorrect behavior #that i failed to identify because my instinct is to relax when not immediately presented with a Situation #this got me labeled as 'having no initiative' by my dad from a very early age #and even as an adult i still feel like im a child with no initiative

#the witcher season 3 #the witcher #geralt of rivia #geraskier #jaskier #the witcher spoilers #(at least discussed in the text)#they've come such a long way and I'm still sitting here like 🥺🥺🥺#man if you think of the timeline (which is so whack) Geralt and Jaskier have SEEN things #they have been going on for more than twenty years #they are FAMILY and that gets me so bad and I'll draw the whole squad probably tomorrow but!! look at them #somehow the end of season 3 is everything I wanted from season 1 when it came to those two because it had some S1 vibes again with the duo!#but it was so much more heartfelt and tender and not even an ounce of Geralt being seemingly annoyed of Jaskier just-#clenches fist #I'm so basic for still loving them so much but I simply do and will never stop 😔#but I gotta say I loved the yenralt this season too I can finally see it and it was very sweet at times
