I've had this neat little idea for a hypothetical character arc for megami.

So we all know that megami was pretty much born and raised to eventually hold the mantle of CEO of saikou corp.

I mean her dad literally forced her to kill a pet hamster she had because it "served no purpose to saikou corp." or whatever.

Well, what if Saikou Corp was shut down?

I imagine megami feeling pretty lost and not sure of what to do from that point. The thing that she has been built up to take over; gone.

Leaving her feeling as if she lacks purpose and not sure as to who actually she is. Though, I imagine the council members helping through it.

As for how the rest of the saikou family would feel, I had not thought about that yet..

Though, as for her little brother (can't remember his name right now) I feel like he'd also feel lost given his sibling rivalry with her.

Being perfect to take over the company was the thing that would earn "Daddy's approval" and with that being gone, I feel there would be no reason for there to be any bad blood between them causing to grow as siblings.

Maybe that can get into contact with their aunt, ichiko and be a happy, worthless family.

I don't know, my ideas are kinda dumb anyway lmao.

Mother figure.

In this timeline, Ichikou contacts Megami and convinces her to leave the family, and for some reason Megami agrees and travels with her to her home. That day ended with Ichikou suggesting that they cuddle up to sleep like a mother and daughter.

This is only the sketch, Idk if i would ever have the time to finish it.

ok i think we need to talk about the MASSIVE shit revealed in this update

I haven't had a chance to install the game and play anything for myself for various reasons, but I've seen some videos on YouTube, and I am REELING - like, where do I even start???

I guess I'll start with the dream that Ayano has about the origins of the Aishi condition. Which. DEFINITELY seems to be a curse. I was able to find a video that enables free cam without any of the effects so we can get a good look at who all is in this sequence. There is, of course, Ayano's ancestor (using the Yanvania model) and her Senpai. But there's also someone that looks like Info-chan and someone else that looks like Mae Kunahito. Weirdly enough there is a demon with Osana's hair? And the Lust demon (probably). She seemed to be a major player in this, but her role is unclear. She stopped Yancestor from getting her Senpai in some way, but i don't get why he was trapped in a bubble. The REAL kicker is at the end - WE FINALLY HAVE MORE INFORMATION ON WHAT'S UNDER THE CHERRY TREE. There is a dilapidated corpse tangled up in the roots! And Yancestor knew about it! But we don't know who or why. My current theory is that we've got a Dehydrated Ganondorf situation, and if the corpse is disturbed, we free the Lust demon for an opportunity to defeat her once and for all. That, or the Osana demon. Hard to say. But that would probably be the secret true ending. And honestly, I'm not mad about that direction for the story.

Next is the CRAZY timeline shenanigans going on in 1980's mode. It's definitely FUN! We learned that Fun Girl can manifest through her sister. Here's a thought - Ichiko referenced a window of time where she wouldn't be monitored. It would be easy to assume that she meant monitored by the Saikou family, but is it possible that she actually meant being monitored by Fun Girl? Is Ichikou being manipulated by her sister? Is she actually a victim? Fun Girl's actions at the end of the time paradox playthrough indicate that she's more sinister than we thought. No matter what happens, she grants us a Chara-style jumpscare (which makes sense because Fun Girl was inspired by Gaster, but I would appreciate some originality honestly). It seems like her intention is to steal Ayano and use her as a vessel to re-enter that dimension. To do what? Enact revenge on Saisho? He's dead by the time 202x mode starts. So it's hard to say. Either way, the effects are cool and it's an interesting extra!

Now I'm tempted to make tier lists based off of the sins of Akademi's students as shown in the Death Demon Easter egg. Maybe I will lol. But I guess we'll see next month what the plan for the game is. In the meantime, Yakuza mode sounds fun!

there's a way so that you can get the background out of filtered pngs easily

first you just put your png there then save it as a png, and then put another blank layer above the png, it will be useful later

then bam kaboom, icon filtered, but Ichikers isn't transparent yet! this can be fixed easily :3

you return to Ibis Paint, and on the blank layer you use this option

import the filtered version and bam! she's transparent now :3

then you just save it and the filtered transparent is ready!

Josele blinked a few times as her brain processed what Ida and Ichika had said.

"Marriage?! You two were going to wait until after you got married to reveal your relationship?!"

"I mean... Yeah, that kinda was the idea," Ida answered with a cheeky grin and shrug. "Not like you could've said 'get unmarried' at that point, right?"

There was a moment of silence. Then, Josele reached up to Ida's shoulders and shook her like she was a cocktail.

"Ida, you're supposed to be smarter than that!" Josele exclaimed, anger and concern crossing her face. She let go of Ida and dragged her fingers through her hair. "Nacht and Yami would've had heart attacks if you dropped a bomb like being married on them out of nowhere! You don't just go from being friends to being married like that! What were you two thinking?!"

Ida cast a bitter smile to the side. *Yeah, that's rich coming from the woman who married behind the backs of her whole squad.* She thought this but knew better than to say it out loud.

"Ida and I were thinking that we don't need to run our choices by our brothers, or you for that matter, that's all," Ichika replied with a sigh.

"It's not necessary but..." Josele sighed. "I understand that communication isn't the strong suit of anyone involved but Nacht, Sukehiro, and I... we would appreciate it if you two did try to communicate a little..."

Ichika looks to Ida „it’s so complicated whit all of this stuff whit Ur brother’s

Josele touched her chin as she considered the options.

Between the two men, Sukehiro had always been the more accepting one. It's partially why he runs the Black Bulls. He could laugh off most things easily, unless of course it was a threat to him or his loved ones. And since Ida and Ichika's relationship couldn't be construed as a threat in any way...

As for Nacht, while he'd been working on opening up his heart to others after years of only ever pulling away, he still had a pretty pessimistic outlook on life. And that pessimism led to caution and overprotectiveness. Josele loved Nacht but she wished he didn't fret so much.

"Telling Sukehiro first really is the only way to go about it, since he rolls with basically everything life throws his way," Josele concluded with a nod. "Because if Nacht wants to argue against your guys' happiness, then Sukehiro and I can step in and talk him down."

"And what if me remaining single and alone the rest of my life is the hill Nacht is willing to die on?" Ida asked skeptically.

Ichika raised a brow. "Wait, would your brother really die just to ensure you stay single?"

"No no no. It's an expression," Ida explained with a wave of her hand. "If anything, you'd be the one dying in that scenario." The idea made Ichika scowl.

"That's..." Josele sighed. "I don't think Nacht will force you to be single forever. I think... He just needs to be thoroughly convinced that you've found someone who genuinely makes you happy and accepts every part of you."

"Which I do," Ichika said pointedly.

"Yes, I assumed so," Josele laughed awkwardly.

"So... When do we tell Yami?" Ida asked. "And how?"

"Definitely over alcohol," Ichika and Josele suggested in unison.

Ida raised a eye brow „ good ok I see it I know too get good alc so I will get it but ichika my love I think you will give him this He will believe I drug him….“laugh

"For Nacht, the most effective way to do it would be to build up to it."

"Like you repeatedly almost catching me and Ichika being affectionate?" Ida asked.

"Uh, no. That might make Nacht paranoid and agitated," Josele muttered, rubbing the back of her neck. "What I mean is that when we tell him, we have to make it clear how close you two are before outright saying you two are dating. If we can put it in perspective for him and explain what you two would lose if he forced you two to break it off, he might not oppose it."

Ichika blinked and then nodded in understanding. "Ah, I see what you're getting at."

"You really think it'll work?" Ida questioned, crossing her arms. "Will it really be that easy?"

Josele giggled. "Nacht hardly makes anything easy. I mean, when we started dating, he didn't call me his girlfriend. But when I told him that his reluctance to do so hurt me, he considered my feelings and started to change."

"Stupid ass brother of mine," Ida groaned.

"Long story short, we need to get Nacht to understand you two."

Ichika nods at this „sound good have we a plan Ida-San?
