My Honest Opinion:

Man this story had everything to be a perfect 10 on 10, but something was always lacking. I mean, I seriously wanted it to be a BL. That would be so amazing. But no. We got bromance. Not that I am complaining. Okay, may be I am complaining a little bit. But I am glad that Shiro and Ichiro both had loads of moments together. It was really heartwarming and heartwrenching at the same time. I mean as glad I was that they were always there for each other, I almost had my heart broken into pieces everytime Shiro kept risking his own life.

This story has multiple plot holes. But the one that irked me the most was the fact that they constantly kept showing the bombing incident where Ichiro lost his parents. I mean I get that it was sad but I don't need a reminder of the incident every 15 minutes. And the repeated flashbacks covered about 20% of the entire series if not more.

Overall, the series is an entertaining one time watch in my opinion. Also, special mention, the actor who played Hanabusa Shiro's character. He is the same guy who portrayed sweet and innocent roles like the ones in "Our Dining Table" and "The Man Who Defies The World of BL". Honestly, I watched the series only for him. It was such a breath of fresh air to see him play a character that is so damn different from his past characters. And his hairstyle? Damn. Okay, I'll stop rambling.

I am dumb dumb

I have been enjoying watching Kei x Yaku: dangerous partners, but I have had the sensation that one of the male leads was familiar. I don’t watch that many Japanese shows, so there weren’t many options to begin with.

Blondie on the left (Shiro) is a member of the yakuza and starts working with the agent (Ichiro) sent to tail him, on the right.

There’s nice tension but also domesticity. There are two bodyguards henchmen that follow Shiro, some nice twists, cloak and dagger and what not.

But suddenly today, while on episode 5, I had an eureka moment: it’s Mob!!!
