Sonic, you do understand that if reality gets restored, and the Shatterverse stops existing (because it wouldn't be shattered anymore), so would the shatterspaces, and everyone who lives there: everything would just go back to the way it was before.

But if you consider them real, you only have two choices:

Bring the shards together and restore your reality, bringing back your friends in the process, but the people created by the shattering of the Prism would go back to being just parts of your friends and seize to exist separately?

Or leave it be, and lose your friends forever, but their counterparts would still exist as their own entities?

Re-watching hazbin hotel rn with a fresh perspective and honestly??? A lot of the things people criticize it for are such small issues and at the very most issues that MOST good shows have. Like, the writing isn't perfect but it's so endlessly charming and fun and beautifully animated that it's really not as bad as people make it out to be.

i have to say i'm kind of baffled that nathan's entire s3 arc is apparently just. romance? like obviously this is just my opinion but To Me a lot of what led to him doing everything he did was caused by deep insecurity and a self loathing he overcompensated for by diminishing others, and a lot of that also came down to him feeling insufficient As A Man (he was obviously set up to be very envious of roy, who was everything he wanted to be) so. to see him have a redemption arc entirely based on him starting to date someone is just deeply strange. the idea that his self worth and his masculinity would be validated by a woman is...... uuuh...... like idk man for a show that wants to be "about fathers" and thus to an extent about masculinity, and that obviously is invested in showing different displays of healthy masculinity confident in their identity, it reaaaly feels like they dropped the ball with nate.

am i the only one who thinks this season was really rushed? most of the time i wasn't able to feel and digest things because then other things were happening in a span of less than 5 minutes and then everything just...... ended? there were things that didn't have any depths, that was just made... idk.... in such a whatever way

they put anne and mary in there for one episode. then we see their relationship and that they're two psychos (affectionate) and then they vanish in the end. they put ned low in there, that appears out of NOWHERE, just to be in one episode and then kill him off. they kill izzy off and we don't even have the time to mourn, because next scene they've already buried him and now are making a wedding. i mean.

they tried putting a lot of new characters in there instead of focusing on the original ones and their developtment and it made the season feel so fucking rushed and idk man. idk.

sometimes alan alda writes really well. sometimes he writes the silliest oc fanfiction i've ever seen in my life

#shout-out to episode 8x20 for being the silliest most overdone nonsense ever #it's just so interesting. it's an episode with his dad #the disagreement between hawkeye and alda's father's character felt incredibly contrived #it's hard to say it was out of character because alda's father has only been in one other episode so far #hawkeye was as in character as he could be #but the... the fucking. the word. chemistry. the chemistry between the two characters was wildly off #it was like... overfamiliar despite having only ever met once before #and the plot points of the story felt incredibly rushed #maybe i'm too critical of alda's writing but idk. maybe giving the man so much control over his character was unwise #honestly sometimes i feel like the later seasons lack a lot of the heart that the earlier seasons had #sometimes it feels like the writers are just trying to hit tropes that made for popular episodes in the early days #could write a paper on this. maybe i should #could do a video essay... #soliloquy #mash

in all honesty, this has to be one of my favourite episodes! i just think it’s nice seeing the kids be ghost hunters and explore the unknown of the human realm! i miss the Owl House a lot more then i originally thought i would when i originally started watching it. for a kids cartoon, it means a lot to me, which is cringe but whatever i guess
