So, When i first started Genshin I was on some Shit.

His name is June and ive since tweaked some stuff about him. You dont need to know much about him, just that hes a bit of a cryptid among the town for almost two years before townspeople start interacting w him on their own volition. His best friends are Marnie, Kent, and Caroline, and he is really cool w Willy, Linus, and Marlon (old men gang rise up). Also romances Shane which is funny to Me bc whenever shane gets a male farmer to romance i am constantly rotating this image of vincent getting upset and saying ‘gee jas how come YOU get two cool godfathers’

To answer ur question about Jojamart; i feel like it truly wouldnt mess with the balance of magic in the valley. Magic is powerful BUT. It is adaptive. The Junimos harness the magic of the valley to fix things in the broken down community center, but if someone else came along and fixed it for them, well thats one less thing the magic of the valley is used for. Theres plenty of talented people in the valley that dont need magic to get things done 😉 (Robin my beloved)

But i do think jojamart is a big indicator that something is amiss with the town. I think it is a common idea to believe that jojamart is like. Evil. And like. Its totally a soulless corporation, but i think its filling a very specific Need of this town. Pelican town has some very skilled laborers that sell their work and services to help provide not just for themselves, but FOR pelican town; if that still leaves people unable to pay rent/mortgage or groceries, then people will absolutely swoop in and offer ‘solutions’.

I have more Thots but basically……magic is powerful, but it cant do anything on its own. Its utilized by magical beings to make tangible change in the world. But humans are capable of making real and tangible change without the use of magic. Jojamart says ‘here, give me money and time and ill fix this stuff 😉’ and that is not anymore different than Robin, Clint, the junimos, etc saying ‘give me some money and time and i can do this thing for u 😉’. Jojamart is like. Bad. But bad in the same way Pierre owning the only grocery store in town wo employing anyone is bad, and how Lewis is okay with all of this Mess. Its indicative of a bigger problem in the valley that magic cant really fix

omg jing yuan !! as soon as i met him i knew he was gonna be a fav of mine, and his deal with the finches just sold it. i really love his cn va. he was also really fun to play as for that little stint he was part of your party, i got the awakened dan heng card Right before that final battle which felt perfect and now they have this guy and im like i NEED him his mechanic lags my entire laptop. the xianzhou luofu has been very fun to get to know so far, i do love what dan heng/dan feng and jing yuan have going on, and i guess blade is part of that? i love edgy characters but ironically he's felt like the most boring of the cast so far... but that means i still have two of the quintet yet to meet i think! i cannot guess who theyd be right now. the timelines theyre working with are so funny to me like i guess dan hengs supposed to be 700 years old but also still a teenager? being eternally 17 sounds like some horrific curse. which im still not entirely sure of what he did but that seems undeserved. speaking of which reincarnating (?) and then ending up befriending someone who looks more than passingly like your old life's old friend (the trailblazer and jing yuan's visual similarities are a coincidence im sure but its funny to me) is such a neat concept i hope they touch on. + SEELE AND BRONYA!! they were an amazing part of that storyline i want them on my team so bad. I just got the missions to go back and see whats up with them so i'll have to check it out... when i first continued the story to get to the xianzhou seele was visiting and i thought the game would make her disappear after the warp but she was still there... i was like we've taken this kid 500 million light years away from her home planet we've committed a crime here. ANYWAY this is a mile long i hope u have a good weekend nd get rest o7

yeaaahhh jing yuan's va is so good!! i love playing on cn tbh the other dubs dont hit the same idk... i dont have him tho (f) and both times his banner was on i didnt have enough jade to pull for him 😭 first time bc i spent everything on seele, second time bc of sparkle KHFDKJGFDG literally my roster is almost all the girls (not you topaz. and silver wolf was bc i lost 50/50 💀) and barely any guys (i have dhil and luocha and dr ratio bc he was free... all the others i skipped and im gonna skip aventurine as well LOL) can u tell im a lesbian :'))

and i thought dan heng was like in his early 20s??? but none of it rly gets explained so KFDJKDG we do know viyadhara when they reincarnate become children again and then age up before they go through the whole egg-reincarnating thing again. but like in his prev life he was several decades old and looked the same anyway, yet blade/yingxing at the time was like. an old man (the only "mortal" among them 😭). and then baiheng and jingliu were around the same age as jing yuan? wait actually jingliu is older since she's his master but yeah. it IS interesting to see how their dynamic has shifted tho but you'll see (if you havent gotten to that part yet in any case, i think if you finished the tingyun/emanator of destruction part you should've already known abt most of this due to companion quests!)

also YEAH KDFJHKJFDGD it's so funny that characters from different planets can visit the astral express even when they're not on/near their home planet like oh... i guess we kinda abducted you, lol. although, hey, look at it like this: you can show them entire fields of grass or something which they don't have on their home world...! (and obvi you can just take them back to their home world in a snap 😌)

also my weekend was great!! went to a film festival and talked to friends and had a good time overall fdkjghfkjdg idk if i already said this but saw zhu yilong on screen twice (!!) and also met the director of the movie he was in it was super fun <3 def needed that lol

ultrabrawl : aka me fucking around with the sandbox

i'll put you in context for the nonscreenshotted story. so basically i decided to pitch in enemies against enemies (blind enemies beforehand so the stalkers dont pre-sand the contestants + enemies ignore player + enemies attack each other + invencibility in case some projectiles or attacks hit me + flight to see the fight from all angles. also + infinite wall jumps but thats just a preference)

first one was a general battle. all against all, 1 of each (2 gabriels, 2 V2's the only exceptions ALSO no big johninator because i never beat him...yet). it was surprisingly heated! the minotaur lasted longer than i expected and the battle was slightly tied against druid knight and sisyphus so i had them fight in a small room. sisyphus won! barely tho... so, from this point u should know sisyphus can win ANYONE

...except the flesh prision and panopticon. for some reason once the eyes are defeated the enemy just. doesnt attack The flesh itself! so theyre invalid

ok, fast foward, made a bunch of random battles (fun fact that the guttertank can instakill the gutterman, and consequently, maurice can instakill guttertank)...blah blah, ok

so, i made a small civil war then, yeah? several numbers of ALL enemies. that battle lagged the game so hard my wifi turned off. im serious

and after that? here comes the illustrated experience.

i decided to pitch in. around 12 gabriels of each (12-ish act 1, 12-ish act 2. i wasnt counting)

it went on like this for a good 3 minutes probably. my chest still hurts from all the laughing. i wish i recorded it instead because hearing them all talk overlapped was honestly hilarious

goes on... goes on... and then... the act 2 gabriels (most of them) come out victorious. youd think well! the npcs stop there because they have no one else to fight!

they decide to FUCKING WANDER WHO KNOWS WHERE LITERALLY OUT OF BOUNDS

THEY LOOKED LIKE THEY WERE FIGHTING SOMEONE BUT?? THERE WAS NO ONE...

i tried following them but i gave up when i almost got lost and also they just kept flying further away...

a sole survivor... got stuck in a fighting position with no one to attack...

i found gabriels! from. before the 12vs12 pitch. probably from the civil war

after that i decided to chase a golden strike shooting upwards, but...

i got lost.

MY GIF-MAKING TUTORIAL

for @sunshinesquash

i use photopea.com for making gifs so if you have photoshop i’m not sure how much different these tools will be, but i hope this can help!! i also have a windows computer so if you have a mac my recording technique might not work :’( all the tools i use are pretty simple and basic so if you can’t afford to download a lot of software dont worry!

recording:

when you’re finding videos to use for gifs, you want to use the highest quality footage u can find! you normally always want to use 1080p, but if you can only find 720p then make sure its not too grainy!

for the actual recording, i use the (windows + g) shortcut. once you click that this should pop up!

if this is your first time opening the game bar, it might just show only the top bar - if that happens, click on the second icon! when the capture sidebar shows up click on the third icon and the recording will begin :] make sure that your recording is 4-5 seconds max, otherwise it will be too big for photopea to handle and there will be too many frames!

opening the recording:

all your recordings from the windows game bar will automatically show up in videos > captures.

open photopea, and then click file > open and locate your recording!

when it’s opened photopea should look like this:

this image size is 1920 x 1080 which is way too big for photopea to load your final gif and for tumblr to accept! because of this you’ll click file > new and get to a pop-up that looks like this:

the size that i normally make my gifs is 540 x 540 which is what i’m going to use for this tutorial! you can always go for other dimensions - whatever you’re comfortable with :]. click create!

ok now comes the complicated part :

select all of the frames that you’re going to work with until they become highlighted grey. make sure the folder is not selected!

right click on the highlighted area so an options bar pops up!

click on ‘duplicate into...’ and select the drop down menu and click on ‘new project.psd’. there will be a ‘new project’ and a ‘new project.psd’ option - ‘new project.psd is the one you want to click on! ‘new project.psd’ is the 540x540 project that you created.

next, click on the tab that says ‘New Project.psd’ and it should show you something like this:

the frames are really zoomed in because of the different dimensions, so we’re going to fix that! make sure all of your frames are still highlighted and then click on the little folder button that i circled:

now all of your frames are going to be under a single folder. make sure ‘transform controls’ on the top menu is selected! now single click on the edge of the selected frames:

now a new menu is going to show up where it used to say ‘transform controls’ was! make sure the little hamburger button in between the dimensions is selected.

replace the 100% with 50% and now your dimensions will look like this!

now just drag that box of frames onto the white area! (make sure only the folder is selected on the side bar):

sharpening + color:

now you’re going to open that folder and then select all your frames again (make sure the folder is not highlighted):

now click filter > noise > and type in 1%.

im adding noise here because it helps smooth out the gif and makes sure there arent any wavy/grainy lines!

after you click ‘ok’ then click filter > sharpen > smart sharpen. you don’t have to change any settings here! just click ‘ok’ with the default settings.

now your base gif is ready for coloring!

all your coloring tools will be under layer > new adjustment layer.

always remember that whatever settings/coloring that i use may be different from the way you want to do it! gif-making always starts with exploring and experimenting with your style :]

the first type of adjustment layers that i always start with are the ones that deal with adjusting brightness! depending on how dark your gif is you will either want to start with ‘brightness/contrast’ or ‘levels’. (you can also use curves but levels are easier to control for me.)

if you have a super dark gif, you’re going to want to start with ‘brightness/contrast’. no actual adjustments will be made to this layer but you’re going to make its type ‘screen.’

BE CAREFUL WITH THIS LAYER! doing ‘screen’ with brightness/contrast will often whitewash characters of color so for this gif we’re going to just use ‘levels’! (there are ways to get the original skin tone back when using this layer, so if it’s completely necessary depending on the scene, you’re going to have to work a lot with coloring adjustment layers to make sure not to oversaturate or whiten when doing this. you’ll get there with practice, but for this tutorial we’re going to work with safe adjustments!)

if the gif becomes too bright because of ‘screen’ in brightness/contrast you can adjust the opacity!

whenever you use brightness/contrast you’re also going to use a levels layer because just this layer can remove a lot of the depth

now let’s open the levels layer!

you’ll see the three squares that you can adjust - the black is shadows, the grey is mid-tones, and the white is highlights. when working with characters of color don’t brighten the mid-tones, this will also whitewash them! dragging the squares to the left will brighten, and to the right will darken. each scene will require different adjustments so explore and figure out what’s right! make sure when brightening, that you remember to give it enough depth.

now the gif has proper lighting!

after your brightening layers, you’re going to look at the scene and check whether you need a photo filter layer! if your scene has a strange filter - for example, cw shows often use a weird dark yellow filter: this is where a photo filter comes in.

for this tutorial im going to show how to use the photo filter! shawn’s face has a yellow tint so we’re going to try this out. (there are ways to get rid of the yellow in selective color, but for this tutorial we’re going to start with photo filter.)

photopea automatically provides a yellow color photo filter which is not what we want for this scene! (if you have an especially blue scene this might help though!)

click on the orange square and drag the color picker to the opposite color of the one you’re trying to get rid. we’re getting rid of yellow, so we’ll select blue.

now, we’re going to adjust the density so it doesn’t look so blue. now it looks perfect!

now we’re going to go to my favorite tool: selective color :]

you can see hints of blue, and pink in the scene already - so we’re going to really bring those out!!

click on the drop down that will bring up a list of colors! we’re going to especially go for cyan and blue. when i really need to bring out blue, i drag the cyan fully over to 100% and the yellow to -100%

if you look at the gif now, you can see that the blue is starting to come out! duplicate that selective colors layer until the blue becomes saturated enough, but not grainy. i duplicated mine’s three times for this gif!

now that you see how to manipulate the colors with selective colors, experiment and see what you can do! i felt like the skin tones were too pale so i messed with the reds :] you may think differently, that’s why coloring is subjective not objective!

one of my other favorite tools to use is the vibrance tool! make sure not too saturate your colors too much so be careful with this layer!

another really fun tool to use is the hue/saturation tool! if you have a very prominent stable color that isnt too grainy, you can manipulate it to another totally different color! this gif may not do too well, since the blue isn’t completely solid, but we can still test it out!

click on the drop down to the color you want to manipulate and have fun with it! i could make the blue a little cyan here without making it too grainy so this is what we ended up with :]

this is going to be the end of the tutorial for now but always feel free to ask me if you need some more advice. if some of it was confusing dm me or i can always make a video of my process!

[VERY IMPORTANT: REMEMBER that photopea.com is a website so it’s always prone to crashing. always ALWAYS save your psd’s after you’re done editing. a psd will save all your coloring and frames! go to file > save as psd. to export your frames as a gif go to file > export as > gif > save! if photopea starts lagging, it might be the time to open it in another tab and start making your other gifs there.]

general thoughts: IT LOOKS SO SO NICE! all of my screenshots r really bad quality though because the vid i watched was low quality it looks so nice though like this feels like when u leave a place u love for a while and u come back and all of the nostalgia hits nd ur just really happy to be back. that had nothing to do with the animation quality but it is how i feel to be watching new pripara content. the animation quality itself feels like seeing ur favorite childhood game get a sequel and all ur favorites are there too

YUI FUCKIGN DIED? IN COMA?????? i have a feeling MAYBE this is connected to the whole dreams storyline from idol time somehow because lol when u sleep u dream and yui definitely is. sleeping. kind of worrying how normal nino&michiru look though despite missing their leader?

very excited to see what marios deal is i hope he isnt just like a stereotypical bully character bcs that would suck. i dont think he will be that based on the intro though

overall idol land seems like. darker in plot somehow. it mostly just looks like normal pretty series fare but for a good amount of shots i was like “WOW that seems a lot more grim than pripara usually gets in openings especially”

it doesn’t! all u really get to know is they’ve been best friends since they were little.

the kin answer is i met her at the knight academy long before either of us enrolled because my mom was a knight herself & zelda’s dad was the headmaster. i don’t have the memory back as clear as i’d like but i think i fell asleep in one of the empty classrooms and she found me and woke me up and immediately started interrogating me and then when i didn’t answer with anything besides shrugs she screamed ‘WHY ARE YOU SO QUIET’ and i screamed back ‘WHY ARE YOU SO LOUD’ and she then proceeded to drag me down the halls for hours showing me all her favourite places. and then she did that for the rest of our lives.

i know a lot of swears. and various signs for various things with no real cohesion on how to use them. my headmate who knows more taught me how to sign ‘im trying’ so i could do it at my zelda whenever he antagonized me for sucking at a shrine puzzle. he said ‘dont take that tone of hands with me!’

i have wanted to learn how to actually sign proper since i was in high school but learning a new language always is so daunting to me and i worry i won’t have the dedication for it. i want to believe some day i’ll have the time because it would help SO much.

What was Aepon like!!

fiery, stubborn, wild, and free. talkative and proud with a dangerous overconfidence and a heart that feared nothing. if adventure was personified that would be aepon.

he would threaten my life for a single pumpkin chunk and begged me to take him flying in thunderstorms. he hated being away from me and stayed close to wherever i was more often than not. sometimes i’d be trying to focus in class and he’d start talking in our headspace just circling above the academy.

he laughed. i dunno how to explain that he laughed, like a person. he did this weird disjointed spin on the loftwing caw that was definitely a laugh, usually directly after throwing me off his back for fun.

he was the fastest bird in skyloft easily, zelda joked it was to make up for how late to everything i always was, constantly lagging behind. they called him the red terror. i love him with my whole heart.

How did Aepon and Fi get along??

not to plug my own ass fic but i can’t actually sum it up better than how i wrote it there so:

Link holds back an ugly-sounding syllable shaped halfway like laughter, briefly wonders if his sword and his loftwing talk behind his back. The embarrassing stories he’s sure they share whenever he goes to sleep, out flying in the starlight and laughing until they weep. Fi probably doesn’t know how to laugh, but he pictures that Aepon’s wicked cackle is more than enough for the both of them.

do they know each other? do they talk? i have no clue but probably because they’re both on the same level of Exasperated With Me

aepon definitely did not react with anything other than disinterest to a fucking spirit just casually popping out of my sword one day. he just kept flying, filling my head with musings about chasing clouds and how much he liked the colour blue. blue lady is nice. she is blue. aepon’s stance on fi is that she’s blue. fi’s stance on aepon is that’s your bird master do you really need me to tell you in detail about his plumage? i will but do you really desire this. and i was like. yeah

Did anyone other than yourself meet Fi??

honestly, not formally for the most part but she had basically no qualms about her existence being known to people. she only really responded to me but occasionally i’d get to explain to random people that that’s fi she lives in my sword and is magic don’t worry about it can you sell me a potion.

i remember a couple times where i overdid it and kinda just passed out at the sealed grounds and more than once i woke up and fi and groose were both keeping watch. i have no clue if they talked. fi’s kind of an enigma to me sometimes as much as i love her, she rarely does things she deems inefficient which includes talking to people unless she can calculate a profitable outcome. but toward the end of my journey she moved away from that and started doing/saying things that were purely sentimental, so there’s a lot about her i can’t always predict or parse.

she did introduce herself to zelda too! and zelda’s dad was with me the first time i met her. other than that she was pretty exclusive to me. my sword is fiercely private sfdgfhg

lil tip no one tells u bc everyone is so adamant about it being bad: If you have problems with scoping bc you feel like someone is gonna just stab you in the back, use the Classic. Its not as horrible as ppl make it seem to be. Source: I use the classic as my go to sniper rifle!

The secrets are: 1. Bodyshots are just fine unless its a heavy, often they wont b at full hp and even if they are a second shot will finish them off and 2. Dont peak corners, since it makes you predictable and an enemy sniper just needs to hover over your corner and fire when you even think of going out. Classic snipers flourish out in the open, surprisingly, as long as you change your spot often enough, and you just delete Spies and Scouts, two of Sniper's counters

For dealing with snipers, just shoot them. Sounds like bad advice, but it doesnt matter if its an uncharged bodyshot. that sniper will run for a health pack, letting you charge up for when they come into ur sightlines. And for the love of god dont peak corners. You WILL die. Move often and use the fact you're a bodyshot champ against their head clicking rifles. (aka you have the advantage of clicking on their whole body, while theyre often trying for your head). They also have to go thru scoping and aiming, while you cut the middleman and just need to aim. Delete them as soon as they get into ur sights. (Side note: If you see an overhealed sniper, ur done for. Ive seen it happen twice bc the enemy team was apparently VERY done with me, just retreat and get another sniper rifle to deal with that mess)

The only warnings i will give is 1. When you die to a sniper duel, go with another rifle. Oftentimes you will lose a sniper duel if you arent the first one out in the open, since you just waddle out like a penguin, and 2. If youre good enough, people will begin to target you. Something about getting killed by whats often called the wordt sniper rifle in the game seems to trigger an instinct called the "You turned me into a rain cloud, time to die" instinct, causing everyone to migrate to your spot.

(Also side note the smg works very well with the rifle since if a class gets bodyshot and lived you can still kill them reliably with the smg. Second best is the razorback or camper, the first just being the "i hate spies" loadout as it gives you more of a chance to turn around and evaporate their body and the second being the "peppering me with pistols will not do anything, prepare your funeral" loadout, although is useless if theres a dispenser or spawn nearby.)

Rant over, hopefully this helped in someway! To sum it up: The Classic is good if you abuse bodyshots and move your sniping position a lot, and dont peak corners since its predictable and easy to snipe. SMG is a good secondary but Razorback and Camper are good too.

Also I feel like people complain about every single weapon that isn’t stock. Like “Oh but it’s too EASY!!!” or “That weapon is SHIT!” Bitch, if it kills you it kills you!

I actually tried using the Classic once, but it was during that time I had some serious lag, so it didn’t work out all that well... I should try it again! It SEEMS like one could have a lot of fun with it!

Also I want to note, I already learned and ACCEPTED that I don’t have to wait for the rifle to be on 100%... But deliberately going for body shots........

hello! sorry, i dont rly have simmer friends so i didnt know who to ask. i just wanted to know if realm of magic made anyone else's game run slower? i used to be able to play on ultra settings just fine but after getting rom i can only play ultra on laptop mode. otherwise there is an awful lag (even when i took out my mods folder) :( if anybody has experienced this too, is there a reason for it? would i have to repair my game? or is that just a bug from the pack? thank u & have a nice day!!

Take out your mods. Repair the game via origin. Clear the cache files and turn off origin in the game if you haven’t already. Then launch the game and see if it’s any better. If everything is back to normal exit the game but don’t save! Now slowly introduce your mods back and check if the game is still running okay. I would be suspicious of any mods you added to your game after the patch and make sure every other mod is updated.

MAXIMUM CC ORGANIZATION FOR YOUR GAMEPLAY

I see so many posts about people having to get rid of cc because of lag and other reasons , when you don’t have to! so I figured i’d show how I organize my cc folder as well as merging my cc for smoother gameplay.

you are going to need sims4studio for merging and Bulk rename Utility

I assume you know basics of merging and have 1000s of unorganized custom content . so lets get started..

Remember to get rid of stray files before doing the bulk utility method. it should be done to all your cc BEFORE you merge. like zip folders rar and jpg and png . you dont need them they are not cc

when I merge cc i start a label system in each of my subfolders. )furniture, clothing, hair) from 999 in my folder and I go below or i start from 000 and go up. the reason for this is that you may have up to 999 merged files per subfolder in your mods folder.

example: in my folder named FURNITURE there will be 30 files of merged cc named 001-030.

so If you have 001 merged files it means this is the first file that you have merged in this subfolder or in your main mods folder.

within each file is how ever many cc files your pc can handle per merged .package. my pc can only handle 200mb / file. i advise not to go over 300mb why? because they might not show up in game

I also add suffixes by alphabet per file. If you have a ton of cc in the A B C range and youre on your 16th merge file you will label it as 016AC meaning you are on t he 16th merged file and it contains cc from A-C. this is good for sectioning off your cc by its names. sometimes you will merge more at once sometimes less.

Here is an example of a folder i merged with cc starting with A-F then G-O then P-Y and then i highlighted the individual files i wanna delete after i merged.

if you dont want to or dont have an alphabet merge limit and you have more than one merge file from that subfolder , add an extra 0 for every merge file you finish in that folder. so if you are on the 8th merged file and this is your 3rd file in that folder, then you will label it 008. 0008. 00008. etc

this system I made works. for me. and it cna work for you. ,it is best for the quicker load time of your game, so it can read the files better than HAIRSMERGED18 FURNITURE12 OR CHAIRSANDTABLES4 DELETE ALL THAT

you dont need tons of individual folders for cc only keep scripted mods seperate from this merge! you can keep subfolders for organization though just not alot

if you did this right you should have all of your 100,000 files and GBs of content merged nice and neatly and your mod folder should look like this:

remember to remove/delete the old cc individual files from your mods folder after youre done with each file in the subfolder to keep track of what you have completed. s4s creates a backup or you can create a backup of all your merged cc in a desktop folder or XHD / SSD

the next thing I do is merge files twice as fast with 2 studios going at once. If your pc can handle more than 2 go for it. this does cause lag though

next tip is to make a harvestables or cookbook subfolder.

if youre like me and you play with cc food, drinks,overrides, recipies, and drinks and plants for gardening these will ALWAYS NEED TO BE UPDATED with patches, so keep them here so whenever an update is out u can easily download and drop them here. This includes harvestable tunings garden accessories platesmat overrides and things like that. they should be separate from scripts mods folder. as scripts folder will be my next tip. you can use the bulk rename utility on these too

Scripts subfolder.

this subfolder will be for basic gameplay overrides and other script mods that do not need to be in the root mods folder to work. things in this folder include, littlemissam mods kawaiistacie mods, basemental mods, any mods that are ui cheats, cas columns mod, more sims in clubs , more sims at parties, more holidays, garbage can overrides, janitors on lots, hire a dj ,custom events, anything that adds functions that is not cc or objects go in this scripts subfolder. the candle maker , easel overrides, sacrifical mods, oburky mods, necrodog mods, zerbu mods etc

wickedwhims subfolder

WW should have its own subfolder, as well as WW objects and all animations will go in this single folder. the mod and animations are always being updated. THIS INCLUDES BODY REPLACEMENTS THAT ARE COMPATIBLE WITH WW and any other ww components. you can use the bulk rename utility on these too

bodypresets subfolder

I have tons you should too, they all need to be in a subfolder alone, some they do get updated often and there are tons out there that you should use

Poses, custom careers , traits, all need separate sub-folders

these can go corrupt anytime. should be seperate for easy removal and updating. almost every major patch update kills traits careers and poses. the pose player and effects player should go in poses also. you can use the bulk rename utility on these too

FURNITURE. HAIR. CLOTHES

these are the only 3 subfolders you need for objects and clothing. your game is not about to read Curly hairs and Straight hairs separately . nor dresses and tops, male shoes female shoes, nor beds and makeup cc. get rid of it all. sort it out. you game will read files as they load in the game thats it.

my last tip is to make a subfolder called NEW CC in your mods folder. we all are cc addicts, so in case you download new cc and want to test it in game, before merging your next batch of cc; drop it there in quarantine in case it doesn't work , missing a mesh, or is too laggy for you or whatever . you can come back later and sort through it all

the objective is to keep your base mod folder as bare as possible for script mods and other mods that require being in the root folder without being cluttered up with other cc.
