i have weird feelings towards the concept of pick me girls , mostly bc its like , a shamefull thing right? but sometimes it feels like what people are shaming are not the rejection of connecting with women but shaming them for doing the wrong things to attract men, like pick me girls are made fun of bc they'll say they like video games or football to get a guys attention and to other women this subconsciously reads as wrong and a facade but they hide behind being a 'girls girl' when they are making fun of this failure of womanhood. And while rejecting the women around her is harmful, a pick me girl will be made fun of more for her lack of femininity more than anything else

As I play pathfinder more and more it's usage of alignment continues to fascinate me... Like in some of my fantasy games, if it's not mechanically bound, I tend to ignore alignment but here it's a very big game mechanic which I find very interesting.

Like it has me thinking alot about fantasy and how alignments are dealt with in that as a genre. Like what does lawful good mean if the systems and traditions around you are built off of blood and exploitation? Or ones that perpetuate violence? What does it mean when a god is lawful good yet it's patron worshippers are warriors? (Cough Iomedae)

Like where are the lines for "innocent life" drawn? And what determines who can be killed "without guilt or moral conscious" in that regard?

Like yes, this is literally a video game where fighting hordes of evil doers is part of the fiction but it has me thinking alot about the idea of "lawful good" and what that means from like.... A post modernist framework?

idk how other ppl learn to read characters but even when someone has very few lines, if they're not a few throwaway lines and have a smidgen of thought put into them, you can really deduct a lot of things from what they say without mountains of dialogue and array of actions they take.

cIaus, even Iucas via his few lines and interactive dialogue, is so easy to understand and learn what hes about from the dialogue you are given. it shouldnt be hard to mess him up

and even tho these are more active characters in the story with goals to achieve and story beats to hit, u rly can apply the same to lngo and 3mmet. u can make assumptions or deduct possible aspects about how they act from breaking down their dialogue and possible routine. some things might be completely speculative and pulled out of thin air but as long as it matches the characters general front its hard to go wrong

What would Sonic do if he met my oc, MB? She’s a princess, and would most likely be crying alone somewhere. She’s Blaze’s sister, white fur with black stars, half shirt and pants, black with red stripes on the sides(like Shadow). She has one black eye(she also has the black dripping down her face sometimes), her right, it’s completely black; only the color part of her eye and pupil are left. She has white eyes, with star pupils. Something happens when she’s scared or frightened, like, robotic lines come from her gloves, shoes, and eyes, they are black, and easy to spot when she’s thinking hard or scared, if she’s really scared or sad(such as crying), the robotic lines go into her eyes. She hates Sonic, at least the one from my AU. She’s very aggressive, she’ll most likely be an enemy before she’s your friend. She’s usually sarcastic, y’know that type of thing.

MB can ‘infect’ others, she would unsheathe her claws(she has fingerless gloves), and sink them into an opponent, and wherever her claws were in her opponent, would be robotic lines too, like when she’s scared(she has to have her robotic lines on her claws before sinking them into her opponent to work), and it would spread. She controls how fast it spreads, and it usually spreads fast if she has strong emotions, because she wouldn’t be able to control it. She uses her tail(at the speed of light/Sonic! Wow!) to trap her enemies(such as blocking an exit, tripping an opponent, even wrapping an opponent in her tail and ‘infecting’ them.). If she ‘infects’ her opponent, well, numerous things can happen. She usually does the effect that messes up her opponent’s powers, or special abilities. Such as speed, flying, fire, telekinesis, her opponent would try to use it and fail, such as if the opponent tried to use speed, they would start running slower than normal(like normal speed), or it would be out of control(this also effects spindashes, if she’s feeling alright, but if she’s dealing with trauma, such as crying, it will not work.). It can also go in the eye, it goes up to the color part of the eye then stops, then it continues to ‘infect’ the rest of the body, messing up even more abilities(If that’s what you want to call it. If it has ‘infected’ the whole body, the spindash will be messed up, too. Even if she’s not feeling well. If she’s feeling well, the spindash is messed up earlier on, and she will be able to control what happens to the opponent.). If you can gain her trust, you must keep it. One mistake, and you’re out. She can also cure the ‘infection’.

Here first instinct will be to ‘infect’ Sonic.

I wouldn't say I'm the best person to ask about what would Sonic do, since I'm more familiar with IDW Sonic than the other Sonics, buuuuuuut I can give it a shot anyway!

If she attacked first, Sonic would likely try and fight her- Maybe he'd recognize her infection as something like the Metal Virus, try to reason with her or get her to stop fighting- If that doesn't work, he's probably going to try and defeat her or knock her unconscious first. If it does work, and she listens to reason, Sonic would likely try and find a cure for the infection, and if that's impossible, just try and become friends, probably!

If she hates Sonic, it'll probably go the fight route- if he notices the similarities with this infection and the Metal Virus, he'd likely try and just run off the infection- he'd also probably assume that Eggman did this to her.
