idk if this is an autistic thing or whatever but oh my god why is writing so HARd? like, im afraid of constantly implying things other than what they mean
"does this sound like im demonizing mental illness?"
"what if this makes it seem like i think the answer to struggling with mental health is suicide?"
"what if this relationship comes off as toxic,"
"does this seem like x character is trying to fix y? what if it reads like x is being manipulated to try and help y?"
"did i accidentally give x a savior complex?"
"does y come off as an abuser just because they did bad things out of desperation? what if giving y a happy ending ends up feeling like abuser sympathizing?"
"how do i make y's character arc without it feeling like they suddenly realized something obvious and were fixed magically"
writing is hard
#ok context#y is being consumed by a godlike power that is overwhelming their mind to the point they have trouble controlling it#its like being stuck in perpetual overstimulation with frequent meltdowns and since they have god powers that can cause alot of damage#x was friends with y but then shit happens and x decides they want y to go away but y doesnt know how to handle that and instead lashes out#blah blah blah they seperate and plot happens#everyone just thinks y is a brat throwing tantrums for not getting what they want but then x realizes the truth thru some magic shit#more plot#x ends up saving y from losing themselves in the confusing hellscape of their mind#x wants to help y heal but thats hard because no one can fix y's mind they just have to work through it. the end#originally the ending was gonna be x takes away all of y's pain and then y decides they want to reincarnate to get another chance at a life#buut 1. that may be a bad message and 2. i dont want to get rid of this character because i love them and i want them to have a healing arc#but i also dont want it to seem like x has a savior complex and is gonna magically fix y#and also y literally had a bad codependency with x before their friendship got ruined and i feel like this would be bad too?#so i THINK im gonna go for an outcome where x does what they can but still keeps boundaries and encorages y to help themselves more#and y will make more friends and learn how to exist without being in mental anguish all the time#idk maybe some other characters will help and come up with a solution so y doesnt have to deal with chaos in their brain all the time#but anyway do yall UNDERSTAND???#I FEEL LIKE IM OVERCOMPENSATING AND NOT COMPENSATING ENOUGH AT THE SAME TIME#HOW DO I WRITE NATURALLY AND NOT BE AFRAID OF MISCOMUNICATION#FUCK#.txt#autism#actuallyautistic

new crackfic idea lel
Hear me out,,,, DSMP and BNHA crossover with some multiversal bullshit mixed in. I know, I know, two cursed fandoms, blah blah blah “MIKE ARE YOU FUCKING OFF YOUR ROCKER, WHY WOULD YOU THINK THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA-” No. Shut. Hear Me Out. First of all, I would like to preface this by Assuming you, dear reader, have a decently well rounded idea of each peice of media.
DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT WRITE ABOUT THE CONTENT CREATORS OF THE DSMP, ONLY THE CHARACTERS, THANK YOU
Now, with that over with, on with the worldbuilding and plotting. First and foremost, because I’m picky like that, XD and Dream are two completely seperate entities. They are, however, connected fundamentally. This Will Be Important Later. Yes, XD is a god, yes, Drista is a god, they got this whole motif of twins going on Because I Said So Kristin is also a god, and Phil is ambiguous about the topic. Nobody can tell if he’s of divine blood or not, and if he’s asked he just smiles and laughs vaguely, almost ominously. Technoblade is much the same way, they make it a game of how much they can confuse people. Debate happens. It’s hilarious. (The two are most definitely gods.)  ANYWAYS PLOT TIME- So, the story starts with Tommy hiding out at Techno’s house after Techno decided to hide him from Dream, naturally, because Dream’s a Dick and Exile was Not An Appropriate Punishment, you can’t argue this with me, I will slander C! Dream till the day I die. no, I don’t care that he got tortured in prison, he fucking tortured and manipulated kids, fuck the green teletubby. Anyways. Techno is out checking his crops and his animals, y’know, regular chores n’ shit, when the shitstorm in question happens.Tommy’s being Tommy in the house, dinkin around with one of Techno’s capes, when Dream comes a’knocking. And Boy, is Dream pissed. So, Tommy does the only thing he can think of in his trauma-response ridden mind. He fucking books it out the back. But of course, Dream hears this and immediately follows Tommy, taunting him and teasing him, reminding him that “You can never really leave me, Tommy. I AM the only one that cares for you, after all.” And y’know, regular Dream bullshittery. Tommy,,, is halfway to a fucking panic attack, and well.. He starts praying. Tommy doesn’t want to do this, he doesn’t want to go back to his cold little tent in the tundra, he doesn’t want to keep going hungry, he doesn’t want to be forced to endure the smell of gunpowder and the hypocritical sting of both blistering burns and oncoming hypothermia. He doesn’t want to be hurt by Dream anymore.
so he prays. And someone answers. XD to be specific, and them being Very Out Of Touch with humans thought that instead of teleporting Tommy to, I dunno, Techno or Phil, they decided to just go: “Y’know what would do this kid good? A change of scenery :D” So, XD opens a wormhole right underneath Tommy’s feet, making it seem as if he’s fallen into the snow. Dream does NOT find him in the snow. Dream doesn’t find him ANYWHERE. Instead, Tommy’s been unceremoniously dropped in the middle of fucking Japan, right in the koi pond one Izuku Midoriya is fishing his notebook out of. :D

Zootopia is a kind of underrated Disney movie. Because it wasn’t that most of the talking of a movie, I have been scrolling through on my facebook feed and to youtube, google but it was always on the underrated talks. Comments sections are most of “underrated” movie and it supposed to be watched blah blah. I don’t have the prove that this movie is underrated, however I just want flex this movie.
This movie premiered on 2016, I had watch on 2018 and repeated on 2020 because of pandemic. I don’t much of the watching movies or any, but pandemic made me. It was repeated waching because I love all the movies, the characters, voice actors, cinematography and especially, the story. It is a kind of kid’s plot story, but if you take it deeper, it is not just for kids but also for the society. That, special mentions on Philippines, it has a lot of lessons especially on the cops. Moreover, it is all about our society. It is just animals who are acting it. (I love the voice of Nick the fox, gosh that fox cartoon is gorgeous ughh) Anyway, I’m simping over the fox and as I was saying, this movie breaks records. I guess this hits millions dollars that time.
Above first picture, it wasn’t on the movie but when you’ve search “Nick and Judy” it has a lot of kind of selfie of them, and that is my favorite of all. The second one is their second meet, the first one is Judy was been conned by Nick to buy Jumbo pop (kind of ice popsicle)
The story is all about society, as I said above at the same time, it is about think positive or have a positive mindset. No matter what happens, you should be think positive, even if you already been shattered, still don’t lose hope and determine to be success. That is my favorite lesson of the movie, and that is why it is one of my favorite movie. Positive mindset whatever it takes. It is a kid cartoon, because its personification movie and there’s no SPG scenes and languages, but for adults it is talking about society, discrimination, positive mindset and dreams. If you take it deeper, you know what’s the real purpose of the movie. It is a kid movie just for positivity and cute scenes.
I’ll be talking about the story, I know some of y’all knows but I just want a flex.. Hehe. Sorry for some bad grammars and FVA too.
Discrimination - When the Vice mayor, Bellwether is the antagonist. She planned to seperate all the predator just for the prey’s peace life. That is a kind of discrimination, it is seperated about Preys and predators. In reality, it is racist on rich and poor. (It can be corrected thanks if it’s not discrimination, but that was I see hehe)
That Bellwether Vice Mayor is good actually, at first, it cannot be distinguish that she is the main villain of the movie or somewhat called, the ruler. (u know what I mean lels haha) As the movie goes by, Judy Hopps realized that she’s the main ruler of the crime of the scenes. She’s just good at acting, and if you’re good observant there’s this scene that it has a number of the maker of the Night Howl; the one who goes savage of the predators. Bellwether’s voice actor is hot though!!! As like her character hehehe. The scientist on Venom.
Positive Mindset - This is very obvious. From the first scene to the ending, Judy was so good at thinking positive since she were young, most people on her circle don’t believe on her, but she has the courage to prove them wrong and that, she really prove them wrong. She’s not the meter aid at the end but one of the crime investigator. She’s the only one real cop who investigated the crime scenes, well with the help of her friend Nick (Hopefully her love interest, if it have a sequel). Oh and, additionally, there this deleted scenes that Judy’s parents went visit to her apartment and seen them both. Gosh, I want that real scenes even just a minute video.
It was stated that no matter how Judy experiencing shattered life, she still manage to be positive and happy and when she went down, she still not give up but to continue. She even helped Nick to be on top, even if he conned her she still help her. In reality, no matter others let you down, still make them on top just like and with you. Encourage them to be positive and always on positivity. Just what she did, and I am hoping if there’s sequal they will be a couple.
Forgive others even if they hurts you at first, because life is short so forgive everyone.
Society - Ofcourse, it is a crime kind of genre. There’s she says that "With all due of respect.. sir, a good cop is supposed to protect the city.. not to tear apart. " She already know the REAL DUTY of the cop, not just a cop. So even if she was been promoted, she still not accept because she made mistake as cop. She didn’tprotect, she let the city seperated. Like in reality, cops who are “just” doing their job not thinking common sense (you know what I mean), they were been promoted and accept, not thinking what will other feels. Judy may be sensitive, but she knows the responsibility and duty of the cop. Sensitivity is really one of the duty of a cop, it should know how people feels. (Well, there were some who overacting, you know what i mean, okay so those who have a lot of kids and blame all to governments oops sorry) And I am not a criminologist student, I just know and I just have some books right now, when the pandemic just started.
That’s all I just want to share, thanks for reading and you can re-watch or watch Zootopia. It has really cute and deep meaning of the story. I just want to flex but not to promote, especially when you study crime law and criminology this one is for you. I know it’s childish thing but hey-- it helps.
Spread the love, no hates hehe...

SLS
SLS SPOILERS OMG
Okay, two reasons for this. First, I get morbid and think that maybe I'll get sick and my story will never be finished. Second, I've got SLS-specific writers block. So, since I've plotted 90% of the damn story (including snapshops and a short sequal to follow the epilogue), I'm going to ramble. Do Not Read if plot spoilers are a thing you do not like (personally, I'm all about execution, two cakes blah blah, but it's not the only school of thought so there's your warning before I go off.)
I'm so pissed with myself how I've made so little progress on SLS all these years. I feel so guilty sometimes for working on other WIPs instead of SLS, aka the one people actually read and subscribed to.
Worse, I have the damn this plotted. I need to edit the first chapter slightly, change the tone and dialgue in some parts just a smidge to help complete the circle to the finale. But that's it.
That's right, it's all plotted. All the foreshadowing and action and huge chunks of dialogue are either complete or have been first-drafted (I write like I'm telling myself the story, there's lots of '[blah blah this happens]', it's my process). I know how it's going to end, I've written the damn epilogue already in order to give readers a satisfying conclusion despite swerving away from a clean cut 'happily ever after'. (I needed to focus on my theme, which was breaking the cycle of generational trauma and doing what's right not what's 'supposed' to happen.)
Biggest spoiler: Bruce loves Claire and knows she's bonded to Lex for life. He's willing to bow out and even let her still be a part of Damian's life (Talia is the villian, I'm sorry guys, it's not a hater story, she does us the immense favor of killion Lionel but she doesn't want to co-parent with Bruce, she wants to rule the world).
He tells Lex this after he recouperates from the final battle but Lex sees Claire, the twins, and Damian together as a family in the Manor and realizes he can't give them what Bruce can. Lex's list of ambitions doesn't have 'be the best dad/husband for my alien/assassin family' at the top like Bruce does. He can protect them but Bruce wants the whole package.
Bruce is like 'Kryptonians are, most often, poly. I accept and love that part of Claire, plus, I'm Ace. There's a place for you in our lives if you want in.' Lex says he'll think about it.
The epilogue is a year later and Lex is stressing about calling because he heard about the accident at Haly's circus (Damian made the news for being the one who climbed up to help Dick). He wants to help but doesn't want to risk their fragile secret if they're just fostering the kid (he knows she's likely keeping Dick, Claire wants to be a mom even more than she wants to be Nightwing).
THEN, I have an actual happily ever after. But to get there, I have more stories, and one-shots, in that AU! There's one I really want to write about Claire wanting to try getting pregnant again (all of the Robins - and Cass - get adopted too, at much different ages, Bruce did not sign up for this many kids but Claire wants a huge family and he complains but loves it).
It starts with a whole story about the three of them working through trauma and unhealthy relationship habits and past hurts that need resolving to be a healthy poly throuple. Bruce is ahead of the curve, dealing with his history of sexual assault and seperating his trauma from his asexuality (and trying sex with his wife for the first time). Claire loves Lex but is still hurt (from being pregnant while Lex marries Helen) and Lex is hurt too over missing the twins' first years and struggles with jealousy of being secondary but doesn't want to be primary either. Eventually decides to sacrifice some ambitions to be the faithful lover and 'uncle' he needs to be.
Then, I have a self-indulgent cross-over between my AU and a normal Smallville AU in order to showcase how beautiful and happy and nothing hurts anymore my AU becomes. There are babies and a thriving poly-ship where the Ace character isn't 'fixed', SV!Lex freaks out, and HEALTHY FATHER FIGURES protect their family while I showcase my obsession with the glaring missed opportunities in naming Kryptonian heroes.
But instead I'm on page 65 of an Earth-3 smutty fic that is full of venom, drowning a love story that showed up out of no where. It relies heavily on knowledge of my personal-hobby-writing-Mary-Sue-self-insert so I can't even publish it to feel accomplished.
My brain is just too full of shit to write drama (it makes me hurt) or love (it just gets shit on by my plot because of my brain).
WHY?!?

@ren-amamiyaa and their (he/she?) Golden Heist, Thief Nanako and Cryptid Chaser aus flooded my brain and now Im making this post bc I cant fit all of this in asks!!!
All right, so, idea. Cryptid Chasers, Thief Nanako and Golden Heist are all connected righr???
CC acts as a prequel, TN becomes the inbetween starring Nanako and Akechi, and GH stars a broken and older IT and slightly jaded PT.
So far CC has Yosuke and Naoto forming the brotp that fanon wanted through silly Saturday Night Ghost Chasers Shenanigans, Akiren is bein' a lil shit at midnight bc he needs an outlet and exercise to Phantom Thief. While this goes on, Akechi's ghost/spirit/rement/heart/whatever pulls pranks and shenans along with Joker (hiwever that happens).
As the Cryptid Chasers keep going out of their way to confront Joker about Arsene (bc even he likes to mess around) the other IT in Inaba start to try and stop them from disrupting the peace (read : harassing a known criminal) and this somehow leads to a falling out. Mayhaps Naoto and Yosuke break a few laws and Chie busts them, Kanji wants to know why theyre stalking his student/protege, and Yukiko just wants to keep the rumors about the inn in check bc jfc Yosuke STOP SCREECHING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT IN THE LOBBY THERE IS NO GHOST ON THE TV!
Maybe eventually they call it quits or dont bc Naoto dug this hole too deep to climb out themself and Yosuke is having the time of his life since Partner isnt around and hasn't come back to visit yet (Not sayin' souyo is canon and there but-). And the Cryptid Chasers arc probably ends here with there being some animosity towards their shenanigans , but the IT are all still friends.
Now fast forward to like, uhhh (*flings dart at wall of calendars*) 2014 during winter and Akiren's cryptid acts are now fully accepted and maybe exposed, who knows. Nanako is like 10 ~ 12 (P5 is maybe three/five years post P4 I believe) and is just going through the motions of public education. I.E. go to class, do work, get good grades. Dojima is still the same as he was before Yu came but is at least doing better at being a dad, not much but better. Yosuke and Ted aren't around as much bc Junes, Chie is transferred to Tokyo, Yukiko is busy managing the Inn, and Kanji is busy with work (as a teacher and crafts business owner). Rise unfortunately cant come visit and Big Bro now visits every other year.
Nanako starts to look back and wonder how things started to fall apart amongst the group and recalls that "delinquent" who came back at the same time the Cryptid^tm showed up and ruined the group. So now she starts to remember the good times when Big Bro came by and starts to notice some blanks around winter... Why was she in the hospital when she got kidnapled? Why does she remember these weird flashes of Big Bro and his friends and some monster?? And how come she tried to ask them anything about it they brushed her off each time???
The TV in her room flashes and soon she starts hearing things. She starts to move closer to the tv, as if she was in some sort of trance, as the sounds start to become voices to her. When she's directly infront of the screen she sees something... someone on it...
Nanako doesnt show up for breakast, or to school, and nobody seems to have seen her.
A full year passes on after that day. It starts off with a big search party of the IT and Social Links for the first two months, then after ankther three something stange happens... are people forgetting that Nanako existed or something? Everybody's starting to act like completely different peoplw than who they are too, some even end up hospitalozed due to severe headaches and such, and start claiming that Nanako was never around when she vanished or that she left Inaba or was already deamed dead or missing. This rings alarms in the IT's mimds as they search for answers, eventually all fully reuniting for the first time in years/months.
Naoto and Yosuke blame themselves bc they piece together her disappearance with the Cryptid + Ghost case and immediately get scolded for trying to pin their stupid kids game on a missing person's case - especially now with Nanako missing and possibly in danger again! Afterwards the IT are a bit on edge and a bit broken with the whole thing. Meanwhile Akechi can hear the tale ends of "missing person" and "literal disappearnace" and starts looking into this weird limbo metaverse he's in bc some shit is kinda fucked in here now for some reason. They're pretty much only together as a team to rescue Nanako.
GH in the PTs POV starts when Akiren invites the group to the Amagi Inn thanks to licrative money grin- I mean training. He comes clean into having seen something weird on the tv one late night and wants to let the gang know.
Midnight rolls around and Akechi shows up on the screen and the Thieves losing their shit is an understatement - numerous noise complaints were filed that night. Anyways Akechi decides to just play the role of "hey moron, some shits fucked come help fix it" and ends up informing them of a missing girl and this weird TV Mementos world he is in.
I would like to note that Akechi is not at all bitter or confused at everyone's circumstances in life, no of course not Joker stop crying I know its been a while but shutup theres a kid in trouble rn and youre the only ones who can possibly help her.
When the PT figure out a plan to reach this other world Goro is in (Arsene : THOUARTTHEESTICKYOURHANDINTHETVDOITDOITDOITDOIT) the IT eventually come to the very sad conclusion that Nanako moght be in the TV world and that opens a whole can of worms and burnable bridges to cross.
While in the TV world, I'd like to imagine that due to Akechi having been there for a good while it has been shaped to reflect his heart and be the new overall theme of that world. It all still looks like Inaba, but it all holds themes to Akechi and his no good terrible life. However due to Nanako having been in that world as a kid, and now for an uncertain amount of time, the world now holds motifs to the Heaven area from P4, but it's all sorta ruined and kinda darker.
When both teams get together and enter the weird Tele-Mentos world (IT in a Junes storage and PT at either Ren's pad [bc he moved out obvi] (OR bith teams enter from seperate TVs at the Inn so SHENANS!)) Yu and the IT go through Akechi's influenced world/TV Palace, finding out about his tragic backstory and involvement with the PT, but anything that can and could reveal their true identities is blurred and staticy or missing bc Akechi aint gonna snitch out who ruined his sperm donors life (also I guess saved the world too yeah). While going through the Palace the Team starts to think that finding Goro will just be an "if it happens" sort of deal bc he's been missing for years already, what if we just leave him here bc M U R D E R E R.
Cue a sudden appearance by someone in some sort of fallen angel garb who starts whipping out a full on Metal Gear Villain monologue about how hypocritical the IT are when they find the truth about Akechi's life and disappearance - they claimed to want to live in a world where no one hides in the fig, was that all a lie? Are they going back on their word, and hiding behind a shriud of lies and falsehoods once more? "You've gone and lied and hidden the truth already, what's to say you won't continue?"
Meanwhile Akiren and the Thieves enter at the very top of the Heaven TV Set and have to climb all the way down. As they do so they start seeing little murals or epitaphs about memories and people in this girls life. They see all of these memories of a happy girl who had such a loving family - both found and by blood. As they go further and further down the ruins start to look like an actual Heaven, and the scenary becomes more bright and colorful. Eventually they might run into Crow in his Black Mask clothes and give the bastard a slug on the arm and a group hug or two, bc man he doesn't deserve to suffer anymore like this.
Now that the Phantom Thieves have been reunited (Akechi : I can't leave this world The PT : FUCK, MORE PLOT) they end up thinking up ways to get Akechi out until this weird angel priest looking dude shows up and starts babling about how they are criminals and how they've done more bad than good and blah blah blah. Everyone is just all "We're the good guys, we do the right thing even if its morally grey/ambiguous!" and oh look! Another crazed maniac wants to kill us for our "injustice" *Crow has the decency to look away and not say anything* annnnnnd Heaven is locked off. Perfect.
Now maybe the Phantom Thieves and Investigation Team run into each other somewhere in Akechi's Palace and "You have Personas?!?!" "The hell is a Palace?" "YOU'RE THE CRYPTID OF INABA!!?!?" "And Im the 'Ghost' that follows him." "Wait you followed me as a ghost?" "WAIT WHY ARE THERE TWO AKECHIS??!??!!"
Oh yeah, Shadows... Akechi is still kinda in denial about the whole friends and justice thing...
And now the Dark Priest is back great ("Good name Skull" "Well I've got my moments right?").
Annnnnnnd now I have no idea what happens next and Im all burned out but AAAAAAAAA this entire AU crossover thing is so GOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!

For the shipping questions: 2, 9, 11, 16, 26, 37! (Which ... I might have gone a little overboard!)
Talk about three of the most important ships throughout your life
Oh, boy, this might take a while.
Doug/Carol from ER (remember, I’m old) - Okay, I should have learned after my infatuation from this first ship not to get emotionally attached to TV characters or to trust TV writers and I certainly should have learned to stop reading interviews with the showrunners for the love of God, woman, but alas, I did not. It was the first ship that broke my heart, the first time I discovered that TV writers are essentially all assholes, the first time that the ship was saved in the nick of time and made me want to have nothing to do with the show ever again but kept track of it because I didn’t want that happy ending ruined.
The year after this ship went to hell was the worst year of my life. My sister unexpectedly died, my mother went crazy, also there was some stuff with bullshit lawsuits and feuds with the local press, blah blah blah, we’ll skip over the details. The only thing that kept me going was needing to see this ship righted.
In retrospect, I can kind of understand the position the writers were in. The male lead left the show, they wanted to keep the female lead around, so they tried to pair her up with someone new and pretended that the male lead never existed. The fact that they did this while the female lead was pregnant with the male lead’s babies and even had the New Baby Daddy attend the birth while she purposely kept the real baby daddy away really stung, though.
Luke/Lorelai from Gilmore Girls - Well, obviously, I feel everyone that follows me knows my feelings about how this one went down the crapper. Unlike most people who watched this show, I never really trusted the writers. I mean, past experience would have suggested that I shouldn’t have paid attention to the interviews with the showrunners, but did I learn from the first fiasco? Of course I didn’t. ASP consistently put forth the impression in the media that she didn’t really want to write Luke and Lorelai and that her real passion was Christopher and that was the ship she dreamed of writing for years. So when it looked like everything was getting fucked up for good, I stopped watching several months ahead of time and tuned in for Partings to see if the worst possible outcome was what she had in mind and um, yes, it was. I didn’t want anything to do with the show for years afterwards.
There’s a lot more wrapped up in this for me: money and a sense of cultural inferiority and a lot of issues with infidelity and relationships that went sour in my family that made me on some level completely incapable of liking or forgiving Lorelai in the wake of how this ship ended. It was a complete and total destruction of not only this ship but the characters involved in it.
Now that the dust has settled I kind of feel that despite the ending being allegedly planned for years and years, the plot kind of got away from the original writers during season 6 and the happy, optimistic show we thought we were watching became something else entirely. The writers didn’t really want Lorelai and Rory have successful relationships*** because that would get away from the idea that the most important person in the world to them is each other and Rory is destined to follow her mother’s path in life, no matter how how unhappy that might make her or how much Lorelai did not want that. That’s why I think the S7 ending is the far superior ending: it ended the show knowing that they both had to grow up and seperate from each other.
(Also, I think at the end of the day ASP feels that Luke is a simple redneck and won’t ever really be good enough because he isn’t rich and charming. But that may be the cultural inferiority complex talking).
*** I don’t mean to imply that Luke and Lorelai didn’t have a successful relationship in the revival, because I think that they did. I do kind of feel that the reason the plot didn’t allow for them to have a more traditional relationship is because it would pull Lorelai away from having to maintain Rory’s constant angst.
Peter/Olivia from Fringe - I’m picking this one because despite all the crazy plot twists this show took us through, I don’t feel the core characters really changed. In a lot of ways it was a chaste relationship focused on the family unit that included Walter, but it was important to me because it kind of restored my faith in that I could watch a show and ship a couple and it didn’t have to end in disaster.
Do you have many ships that never got together at all?
I’ll always be a little sad that Bolivia/AltLincoln from Fringe never got together. I know that Bolivia got together with Original Flavor Lincoln after AltLincoln died, but it wasn’t the same. In shows that are still ongoing, I’m fairly certain that Caryl from The Walking Dead will never take off and I’m not sure it will happen for Braime in Game of Thrones. The only one left over is Jopper from Stranger Things, which I’m sure will happen at some point.
I’m not sure Tormund will live long along to get together with The Hound on Game of Thrones so I’m not sure I should count that one.
Talk about your favorite first kiss.
Well, it’s not a kiss, but the Jon/Ygritte coupling in Game of Thrones is definitely the hottest entry in this category.
Talk about a ship you initially disliked.
I was totally against the grossness of Dany/Jon in Game of Thrones until it became clear it was going to happen and I started to root for it and felt a little ashamed of myself.
Have you noticed a pattern in your shipping? Is there a romantic dynamic you’re more drawn to?
It’s usually an unabashedly man’s man (preferably snarky) and a fiery, outspoken female.
The exception is Tormund/The Hound from Game of Thrones, because they are both manly and essentially the survivalist Luke and Lorelai.
Do you have a favorite trope and/or AU for your OTP?
I’ve sort of convinced myself that the revival didn’t really happen on Gilmore Girls and Luke and Lorelai got their shit together right away, got married, and had babies (and the younger generation went on to have successful professional and personal lives, of course).
I still remain convinced that Doug and Carol had a younger son named Mark and that is why they did not come back fro Mark 1.0′s funeral. I don’t care if this kid wasn’t mentioned when they appeared during the show’s last season. He still exists to me.
Oh, and on The Walking Dead Carl never died, Rick and Michonne killed Negan a few years ago, and they now live as bucolic an post-apocalyptic existence as possible. Also, Judith is Rick’s biological daughter and maybe he and Michonne eventually had their own kid who is BFF with Maggie and Glenn’s kid.
ask me shippy questions!

Bleach Arcs: Ranked
So, once again, I’m stealing this idea from @incorrctbleach, because I wanted to rank the general Bleach arcs in the same way they did. (I know I said I was going to do a post about Bankai next, and I’m working on it, but... it’s hard.) I’m just gonna use the arc divisions that they used, so if you wanna see that post, click here.
12. The Bount Invasion arc
This arc is... Okay, I really did try to understand this arc when I was watching it, but it’s so hard to understand because it doesn’t make sense. I had no idea why they were out for revenge on Soul Society, all the characters were flat, and their abilities were horrid. Honestly, everything about this arc makes me angry. Not to mention, it ruined Ishida’s character for me for a very long time. He was represented really badly in this arc and I couldn’t bring myself to fall in love with him again until the anime returned to the Hueco Mundo arc. Plus, it dragged on for forever. I can’t really explain beyond that, and I don’t think I have to because I imagine most people hate this arc.
11. The Lost Substitute Shinigami arc
Otherwise known as the Fullbring arc. So, I don’t really hate any arc like I hate the Bount arc, but this arc fell the flattest in terms of story, to me. Again, the antagonists were extremely flat, and I didn’t have any sort of emotional response toward any of them. Not hate, not interest, not a sense of liking; they were all just... blah. I mean, Riruka was alright, I guess, but compared to the plethora of rich characters we’d gotten before the Fullbring arc, every single Fullbringer was a let down. I will say that seeing Ichigo deal with his lack of powers and the breakdown he had at the end was great, but the lack of beloved characters was a shame, as well. Their return in the end is the sole reason this arc isn’t at the bottom of the list, to be honest... Plus, it isn’t a total waste of time like the Bount arc.
10. The New Captain Shūsuke Amagai arc
I’m gonna be real, this arc wasn’t that bad. Sure, Rurichiyo was a little annoying at times, but her scenes with Ichigo were quite sweet. And, sure, Amagai’s reason for wanting to kill Yama was a bit... over-dramatic, but he was also a really neat character. Not to mention, we got to know a little more about Kira through this arc, and I came to love him as a result of that. Is it annoying that it interrupted the Arrancar era? Yeah. Did the final battle not really make sense because the fight with Aizen should’ve prepared Ichigo for anything, especially someone like Amagai? 100%. Was it aggravating that this arc took up multiple seasons and wasn’t clearly fitted into the timeline of the anime? For sure. But, it wasn’t that bad.
9. The Agent of the Shinigami arc
Here’s the thing: you think this is horrible that this is so low on the list because it’s the first arc, however, that just means the caliber and quality of the series just kept getting better and better, to the point that I’m comfortable having this arc this low on my list. Of course, it was amazing. We got to know Rukia and see her relationship with Ichigo develop, plus the end of the arc was so brilliant with Renji and Byakuya. I don’t have anything bad to say about this arc. I mean, it isn’t as action-packed as the rest of the series, I suppose, but it’s the first arc! Honestly, it’s kind of a comfort arc, for me. It’s nice to think about the simpler days with Ichigo and Rukia.
8. The Arrancar: The Arrival arc
There was a lot to love in this arc. Grimmjow was introduced, Shinji was introduced (with the other Visoreds), Ichigo began to come to terms with his Hollow abilities, other Shinigami came to The World of the Living, and, most importantly, we finally got back to the Aizen storyline. To be honest, the arcs that take place in The World of the Living aren’t ever as interesting to me as the ones that take place elsewhere (save for one specific arc that I’ll get to later). I think because the resources--like Reishi--are limited, it makes for a slightly duller viewing experience. Which, of course, is fine because you need the slower periods of time to offset the extremely intense periods of time. Everybody was focused on training during this arc, anyway, so it’s understandable. This arc was a good setup for the rest of the Arrancar era, but that’s about it. It’s still amazing, though.
7. The Goeti 13 Invading Army arc
I really wish this could be higher up on the list, but alas, this is where I shall put it. There was a lot to love with this arc, as well. Seeing characters fight against themselves or versions of their comrades was always interesting to watch. One of my absolute favorite sections of this arc belongs to Nozomi and Kon. I will forever be bitter that they didn’t end up together. And, how about that Hollowfied Ichigo in the end? Rukia protecting him from the (admittedly terrible and cringy) antagonist was everything. It’s very similar to the Zanpakutō Unknown Tales arc, and I love that one as well, so it makes sense that this would be amazing to me.
6. The Zanpakutō Unknown Tales arc
Gosh, I loved this arc so much. I absolutely adored everybody’s Zanpakutō spirits. I mean, how could you not? One of my favorites, and this was one of the biggest “WHAT” moments for me during the final arc, was Nanao’s. Their story was absolutely beautiful. I’m also gonna go ahead and say that the Sword Beasts part of this arc was not that bad, either. I rather enjoyed all the individual stories with everybody’s Zanpakutō spirits. Anyway, added on to all of that, the plot with Muramasa and Kōga was terribly sad. I actually felt bad for both of them by the end of it all. I don’t want to gush forever, but this arc was amazing.
5. The Arrancar: The Hueco Mundo arc
Okay, listen. Don’t kill me. I know this is everyone’s favorite arc, and I totally understand why. I don’t have any issues with it, myself. I just don’t happen to enjoy it as much as the next four arcs. It made my top five, though. That’s good, right? No, but honestly, this arc was flawless. Every single fight was perfectly executed, even the fights with the Espada I didn’t care about. The whole arc--everything from meeting Nel to the captains showing up--was extremely entertaining. To be honest, I think all the fillers that interrupted this arc is why it’s number five and not number one. If I had been more immersed in the arc, I probably would’ve enjoyed it even more, but it was pretty damn enjoyable as is. I dunno what else to say. Nel = the cutest cute to ever cute. Grimmjow = daddy. Ulquiorra = eternal sadness for me. RIP UlquiHime.
4. The Past arc
I. Love. This. Arc. I wanted more of it. An eternal supply. A seperate series, I don’t care. I’m in love with Shinji, Urahara is my boo, Yoruichi and Soi Fon give me life, and learning how everybody knew each other was bomb as fuck. I cannot tell you how lit I was right after this arc when you see Shinji and the Visoreds walk out of their base to kick Aizen’s ass (which didn’t go very well, but I digress). After seeing all the shit that Aizen put them through, I was hollering, it was so fucking epic. It’s crazy to think that Hiyori and Yoruichi served together or that Aizen was Shinji’s lieutenant or that Mayuri served under Kisuke or that Urahara, Yoruichi, and the Visoreds were captains way before some of my favorite captains were captains. It’s just so cool to see how everything came together for them.
3. The Quincy Blood War arc
I’m not gonna lie... the beginning was slow. Like... boring, almost. And the final fight ended way too abruptly. And I didn’t get the ending I wanted (not just because of the pairings, but because of the fact that I didn’t see how everyone was doing after the ten year timeskip). But everything in between made it so worth while. The battles! Oh my goodness, I need them animated right now. All of them were so good! Namely Kenpachi’s and Unohana’s, the battle Yoruichi and Urahara fought together, and the one Byakuya and Tōshirō fought together. And almost every single character developed a crazy amount. I was so impressed with Renji and Rukia, they were insane. There were so many revelations and bombshells in this arc, as well, and all of them had me shook. I loved it. As far as the final pairings go, no I don’t agree with them, but if Renji and Rukia’s daughter grows up to marry Orihime and Ichigo’s son, all will be forgiven. Love, love, love this arc. I’d also like to add that I want to kill that Haschwalth myself for hurting Bazz-B.
2. The Soul Society Arc
This was a hard one to place, guys. In the end, it was just perfect. Especially now that I know the Shinigami better after finishing the series. This is yet another arc where the battles were on point. Poor Ichigo fought so many people, but by the end of it all, all of Soul Society respected him and learned to depend on him. Not to make this about ships, but Ichigo coming to save Rukia killed me. I’d die that death a thousand times. Other than that, I just enjoyed meeting all the new characters and learning about them. This arc was very intense, but also serene in a way... weird, but beautiful.
1. The Fake Karakura Town arc
Is this a weird arc to have as my top arc? Hopefully not. I just can’t get over how good it was. For me to be able to see everybody fighting their own individual battles? That was like a dream. And that’s strange because, to be honest, I didn’t really like the top three Espada (although Baraggan’s abilities were the shit). Oh my goodness, and the Visoreds rolling up, ready to throw down and kick some serious ass got me so excited? By the way, when I say “The Fake Karakura Town arc,” I’m including the piece where Aizen and Gin invade Soul Society. Which means I’m including the Ichigo vs. Aizen fight. Which also means I’m including Ichigo and Rukia’s goodbye. So... yeah. All of that. That’s why this is my favorite arc.
Anyway, let me know if you agree or disagree or, hell, make your own list and tag me! I can’t stop talking about this show. I... I have a problem. I really do.
I promise the Bankai post is coming, I just need to plan it out a little better and get it down on “paper,” so to speak, properly. Thanks for reading!
