It is funny cause if I'm not actively looking for Alan Wake content and just randomly see it my mind immediately is like "is this fanart of Imaginaerum?" cause Ilkka Villi was always the dad from that movie to me before he was Alan Wake
Also this is my call to just go watch Imaginaerum by Nightwish it's one of my all time favorite films by one of my favorite bands
It’s absolutely insane to me that The Snowman inspired two radically different things:
The colors and animation of the winter wonderland sequence from Fionna and Cake, which is a cheery segment that is, in truth, a flashy facade to show off a kingdom built upon lies
vs.
The snowman character from Nightwish’s “Imaginaerum,” who is a manifestation of the memories of a dying old man’s father (with one of the strongest memories being aforementioned old man witnessing his father commit suicide—while he was a child).
I kinda live for Anette Olzon's fictionalized older self in Imaginaerum calling her (1) breaking and entering and (2) managing to unlock a vault “magic tricks”
I just now learnt that “Imaginaerium” is not only the best Nightwish album of all time but also an one and a half hour long movie! Why nobody told me about this!?
Sasha was heading towards the church where Alone was at. Alone was there painting pictures for the church but she knew he will be finishing soon. She wanted to surprise him by meeting him at the church’s entrance and walking home together. As she continued walking, she noticed a young lady walking towards her. Wanting to be polite, she stepped to the right to avoid being in the person’s way, however, the lady also stepped to the right and they both collided into each other. Since Sasha was younger and smaller, she fell down first.
“I am sorry for bumping into you, Ms…”
She paused as she looked at the woman in front of her. She didn’t know why but the woman looked familiar even though she had never met her before.
