Juri/Jeri Katou's interaction with Culumon/Calumon is cute and hilarious

(Juri and Culumon are having a snack in the park. Juri watches the little Digimon catalyst munching on the bun happily. Then, she rummages into the paper bag for a bun.) Juri: I'll have one too. (But before she could have another bun, Culumon steps in and asks for more food.) Juri: One more? Culumon: One more, Culu! (Juri obliges and gives the paper bag full of buns to Culumon. Also, Juri takes one more bun for herself. She watches Culumon eating another bun and ponders.) Juri: Maybe...we...Culumon and me. (Juri moves closer to Culumon who is still eating the buns.) Juri: We get along! Culumon: We get along, Culu! Juri: Right? Culumon: Right, Culu! Juri: Culumon, I think you're my partner! (Culumon looks at Juri in confusion.) Culumon: Partner? Juri: That makes me your tamer, Culumon! (Culumon gets a shock and nearly faints. Juri is unimpressed with Culumon's reaction and stands there, looking annoyed.) Juri: Why do you fall over? It's kind of unpleasant. (Culumon bolts himself upright, looking more confused and scared.)

This is probably my favorite shot from Digimon Tamers, a quick but sweet moment between Jeri and Leomon before the lion hits the fan. I'm really happy with how this came out! I tried a couple of new things with both characters and I think it turned out well overall.

As you can see, this is a redraw of a redraw - I've included the original screencap from the show and the redraw I did in 2015... There's a bit of improvement! I used photo reference for both versions but it's hard to tell here. I'd like to personally apologize to 2015 Jeri...
