Grief is there... but they grieve for different reasons.

One for their Combining Comrade, a part of themself that may never come back. Leaving a block of confusion and anger, paired with a mishandling of their own emotions.

The other grieving an enemy they'd known for so long that finally destroying them leaves an empty void of apathetic grief. What is the point of winning if the other isn't there to see their triumph and conquest.

Due to personal reasons, I have decided to open sketch requests again!

Last time I wasn't able to work on them due to the same personal reasons, but I am willing to try to draw more stuff if only so I can focus on class more instead of wasting 30 minutes on each about what to draw.

So you classy robot fandom, send them in!

RULES:

1. These are requests, not blood oaths. If I don't wanna do it, I won't

2. There are things I won't draw on principle, which are:

- IDW, don't like it - Any comics really, except Dreamwaves, because I read them at least - Rescue Bots and RBA, because I haven't watched them - Aligned is allowed this time, but I WILL totally mess with their canon designs to suit my preferred style (which means I will slap a nose on their faces) - Cyberverse, I don't like it - Armada, except if its Jetfire or Tidal Wave related (the two peeps I liked + JetOP) - Just in case - no Beast Machines, I can't save their designs and neither do I have the energy to try - no OCs this time - No humanformers except if I already have a design for them (check my #humanformers tag for that)

3. What is allowed?

- shippy stuff (no nsfw) and don't worry, I don't have any ship I would refuse on principle - Two characters per picture (not more)

4. Anything I would prefer?

- I would love to do content for all the animes! - If you read my fics, you are free to request scenes from them! - Requests of my faves are usually good to go! - I would prefer a little description to the request so I can work better

Want to make this Sparkling situation even more chaotic? Soundwave being one of Optimus' exes during the Orion Pax' days. Sounders got sparked and Lazerbeak is essentially their Sparkling disguised as a Cassette for the kid's protection. (Optimus has no clue since the Decepticon essentially ghosted him alongside his memory being a bit fuzzy.)

Only way everyone finds out when Soundwave is stuck in the Autobot base. JetOp' Sparkling can easily recognize a sibling and doesn't go to bite. Very abnormal behavior since they usually nip at every bot, even Optimus. Lazerbeak, whose still salty about the loss of the other Cassettes, lets the bomb drop outta spite.

Soundwave just has a huge angry frowny face on his screen as he knows a custody battle is about to happen. Optimus Prime's face further cements it.

Okay!!!

Headcanon but sprinkled with notes from canon but since I can't quite find evidence else to prove others wise except for them being Combiners.

Optimus and Jetfire are close in age. I would even say they might consider eachother Batchmates. (A term that I dont' think is canon any where but I use to denote they were built in the same facility and raised in a group together.

Jetfire and Optimus grew up along side the other. Jetfire eventually developing a frame for flight based ablities. and Optimus being possible a war build... I wonder sometimes if he could of started as something less civilian looking... before Frame Dysphoria set in. Topic for another time.

I very much get the vibes that the two have been long time standing friends. Which is why they wound up as Combiners. (which one can gauge as either they just... decided to build around eachother as a concept. or Perhaps Primus gifting Optimus with a Spark of Combination...

Later infects Jetfire due to their close bond, which I feel is a requirement for the Spark of Combination to work at all.

Where as in oposition. Tidal Wave was reverse engineered from Minicon Powerlinx tests.

Ah this spiraled alittle bit. But Some thoughts.
