La imagen muestra al asesino sentado solemnemente en un lugar sagrado.

Han pasado casi tres años desde la última vez que vimos en la pantalla grande a John Wick, y ahora tenemos que se ha revelado la primera imagen oficial del Capítulo 4 de la saga de acción protagonizada por Keanu Reeves.

John Wick: Capítulo 4 es dirigida por Chad Stahelski con guión de Shay Hatten y Michael Finch, y será protagonizada por Keanu Reeves como John Wick junto a Laurence Fishburne, Ian McShane, Lance Reddick, Rina Sawayama, Donnie Yen, Hiroyuki Sanada, Shamier Anderson, Clancy Brown, Marko Zaror, Bill Skarsgård y Scott Adkins.

Por cierto, cabe recordar que el universo de John Wick se seguirá expandiendo más allá de las películas principales, y es que se está preparando la serie precuela The Continental que será protagonizada por Mel Gibson, además Ana de Armas protagonizará el spinoff titulado Ballerina.

Me fracture el 07/03/2023, por lo que ya tengo mucho tiempo sin pisar un súper, una plaza, el cine, o cualquier lugar que no sea mi casa y casa de mi mamá (porque me cuidaba cuando mi pareja trabaja)

Durante esta espera de mejoría vi cómo pasaban por cartelera películas ir esperaba tanto como Suzume, JhonWick y Mario, iba a ir a verlas al cine después de mi consulta el veintialgo de abril, pero no tuve consulta, el trauma que me estaba viendo no pudo dar consulta y tuve que reprogramar mi consulta, me extendieron incapacidad por 28 días…

Estaba triste porque el trauma no me vio ni dijo si ya podía apoyar el pie, o cambiar la bota por un huarache. Así que continúe en espera.

El jefe de traumatología dijo que podía quitarme la bota a los 10 días, sólo cambie por un huarache que igual es para lesiones en el pie, pero no tan caluroso como la bota.

Pasados los 28 días acudí nuevamente para aclarar lo de mi incapacidad (ya que todavía no puedo caminar, no he visto a rehabilitación y al día siguiente tendría que ir al trabajo; el jefe me dio la incapacidad por 28 días, eso cubre mi próxima consulta y me extendió la interconsulta con rehabilitación.

Hoy me sentí con la confianza de ir al cine… POR FIN!! Este no parece un gran paso, pero para mí es como un paso gigante a la independencia, también me bañe yo sola de pie sin apoyo (me estaba bañando sentada en casa de mi madre ya ir es un baño más amplio)… esto se siente como que pronto podré nuevamente hacer mis cosas del día a día en mi casa, salir a comprar, a pasear, ejercicios leves… estoy muy emocionada.

I watched John Wick.

On a Saturday night, I turned on the TV in my room and decided to watch a movie before going to sleep, something I don’t do often. I came across the TNT channel, where the first John Wick movie was airing. Since I heard many good things across the internet about that movie as well as the whole franchise, I decided to stay on that channel and watch the movie.

That was a very good decision.

The movie’s plot is not the most deep one in any way. I could havethought of something that simple, but that doesn’t mean it’s terrible. John Wick is the protagonist of the homonymous film, he’s a retired hitman who worked for the russian mafia in the past and voluntarily decided to leave that criminal life in favor of a peaceful life along with his wife. 5 years passes, she dies and John is devastated as his only company is the dog that his wife left for him. The story takes a twist when the son of the aforesaid mafia’s boss steals John’s car and kills his dog, not knowing who they are messing with. After said events, John decides to come out of his retirement and seek for revenge against the guys that gave him an undesirable past and that are tormenting him again.

To put it bluntly, I may have loved this movie more than what I expected. While the plot itself isn’t the greatest, it’s everything else what makes this movie starting with the action scenes. Since this is an action movie, they have to be good since it’s one of the main characteristics. And they have been executed in a sublime way: with no CGI used, a detailed and intense gunplay, an excellent dark and serious setting in New York and the lots of battles that our one-man-army protagonist will be involved as he slowly adapts back to the criminal underworld he used to work in, John Wick is one of the best action films from the last 10 years as it will keep whoever watches it on the verge of their seat because of how exhilarating it constantly is.

John Wick has become one of my favorite movies, I should havewatched it before and I can’t wait to watch the rest of the trilogy.

-8.5/10, I really recommend it.
