While I know that videogames might not be everyone's cup of tea, let's just pretend that ALL your characters actually do like playing certain videogames. What kind of games do each of them like the most, and are they any good at it?

This one had me do some real thinkin'... 🤔💭

Guzma:

I think Guzma actually really enjoys playing any kind of co-op game with the grunts, even if he's not really good at them. But the grunts think it's funny when he starts raging at a game and he knows it. As far as games he plays alone in his freetime, I feel he prefers adventure/rpg type of game. He doesn't play a whole lot, but when he does find a game he likes, he plays it obsessively and tries to find every little bit of lore and secrets it has. He also always ends up becoming obsessed with games barely anyone's ever heard of and often he pesters Plumeria to play whatever game that is so he can discuss it with someone. (He also likes chill games and farming simulators like stardew Valley and animal crossing, but he's embarrassed about it and will deny it if asked)

Plumeria:

Plums likes rhythm games and strategy/puzzle based games mainly. It's definitely worth noting that she's, like, INSANELY good at them, too. Long story short, all the grunts know to never to take her bet if it invloves beating her high score. She also really enjoys any kind of game that implements any kind of branching path mechanic, so she's definitely played games like Zero Escape, Hades, and any of the telltale games multiple times.

Leon:

Definitely any kind of resource management game. So stuff like slime rancher, oxygen not included, factorio, terraria, et cetera. He's actually had to self ban himself from playing certain games because he missed too many league meetings literally playing for hours without realizing it. It bums him out because they were super fun, but he knows he can't trust himself.

Hop:

He likes minecraft and other sandbox games. He likes playing co-op with friends, but when he's at home, he doesn't have a great internet connection.

Moon:

Like the little gremlin she is, she likes horror games. She especially likes making Gladion and Hau play horror games with her. Or rather, not telling them it's a horror game until it's too late

A & B:

B is stellar at platformers. A is the best at fighting games of all the grunts. They are both equally trash at racing games.

Kalani (oc):

When he was much younger, he spent a LOT of time playing FPS. By the end of high school, he kind of got bored with them and played more MMO RPGs.

Molayne:

Mo also like MMO RPGs. He also likes games like Elden Ring and Bloodborn. He has, very discreetly, played a variety of dating sims and, no, no one knows about this but him.

Kukui:

The professor plays a lot of battle royale games. He's also very bad about getting sucked into gotcha games.

Tommas Cutter is an interesting case, a bastard, literally and figuratively. His father couldn’t keep it monogamous, and despite abundant resources, didn’t give his son even a small amount of help.

Never mind that, one day, he and a few buddies stole a shuttle from the docking array, blasting into a armed merchant freighter. The crew happened to be severely underpaid and were more than happy to pívot to piracy under Tom.

Now, they set up their ship, named the Devil’s Reach, at the exit of a hyper lane that led to the Kingstown station, a deep space mercantile station orbiting a rogue planet, kept habitable by a overactive core. Soon, his ship was better armed and faster than any of the solar sail vessels that were standard at the time.

Eventually, the monarchy posted a bounty that attracted a company of four gunships, they came just as the station, and the planet below were artificially cycling to night. Suddenly, there was another signal on the infrared as a thermonuclear missile launched past them.

Knowing that stealth had failed, the ships began firing. Missile, Laser, Railgun, all flashing in the night sky, and the Reach fired all ordinance. The planet below was lit as if by 4 suns as the missiles collided with the gunships. All coms within the Reach’s light shell received a recording of a man laughing like a maniac and yelling “you should have turned back sooner”.

And then, the battle was over, none of the gunships could maintain integrity as the air rushed out. The reach was bound to follow as the generators started to fail. With half a ship, and only maneuvering thrusters working, Tom steered towards the planet, hoping the heat shields would hold, and the artificial gravity would work long enough to save him.

To this day, the wreckage of the ship stands in the middle of an exclusion zone. At the outside, above the warnings about unexploded nuclear ordinance and radiation poisoning, is a little sign that reads “you should have turned back sooner”

Robbie is passionate about urban exploration, and knows the best ways into almost every abandoned building in London. It's come in handy more than once.

When it comes to his work, there's no better opportunity to pick an unsuspecting idiot's pockets than at a tube station during rush hour. With nearly three hundred of them across six zones, he's spoilt for choice, and rarely has to hit up the same place twice in quick succession.

He hasn't had a fixed address since he was eighteen, though he can usually find somewhere to get his head down for a night or two - whether it's a friend's floor, the back of a city bus, or the bed of a one night stand, Robbie has developed a knack for being able to fall asleep anywhere.

Robbie smokes like a chimney, and thinks vaping is genuinely one of the most embarrassing things a person can do.

All his worldly possessions fit into one duffel bag. Sentimentality is a luxury.

The cinema is his happy place, and he does his best to see as many new releases as possible, regardless of what the film is about or what the reviews are like. His favourite film of the last year was Everything, Everywhere, All At Once, which he actually paid to see a second time.
