Into, Across and Beyond! Cast: The Funkin' Crew

Origin: Friday Night Funkin' (most of the group); VS Sky (basis for ErrorSky)

"Benjamin Miku here! Let's get into action!" - Benjamin Miku/Boyfriend

"Aww, yeah! That's how you do it!" - Grace Dearest/Girlfriend

"I already lost one iteration of my best friends, and I'm not going to let another meet that same fate." - Pico N. Grounds

"It makes no sense for me to be held by the shackles of my past. I have friends who need me in the present AND the future!" - ErrorSky

The gang from Philadelphia; an aspiring music artist, a daughter to a demon family, a ginger-haired bounty hunter, and a fangirl of the formermost. Each of them have had their major points in history, and here in IAB! is no different. However, these aren't entirely the same Boyfriend, Girlfriend, Pico and Sky fans have grown to appreciate over the years. This story focuses on an entirely new group.

The important point that kickstarted their new story was the events of Mario's Madness, which led to the deaths of Boyfriend and Girlfriend at the hands of Ultra M, and Pico being stuck wandering in the haunted cartridge until he came across some strange being that reset the ENTIRE FNF universe and created a new iteration; Dimension FNF-NEW-2023.

Right away, there are some changes; the counterparts of Boyfriend and Girlfriend are vastly different, being dubbed "Benjamin" and "Grace" respectively, and it's through this that gives Pico a new connection to them. He just wanted them to be together in this timeline, too, and cared very much about their wellbeing. Granted, Benjamin did date Pico for a bit during high school, though they broke up for Ben's safety after the school shooting.

Speaking of that attack, Pico had remembered meeting his counterpart from Dimension DS-2022, and took a hint from him; he went straight for Cassandra to ensure lives could be saved from the shooting, and thanks to that, Pico had less of an interest in professional work than he once did. As it happened, he was the only one whose memories remained intact after the big reset.

In this universe, quite a bit had changed. Benjamin and Grace were both instead high-school students, and though Benjamin lacked the very high levels of bravery his original self did, he's still done his best to tackle the challenges laid before him. He's also more careful around asking people to sing with him, and holds off if that person isn't in the mood for it.

Benjamin and Grace's families were also bigger in this new universe. Taking a page from MizanPloz's Genderswaps mod and other mods, their families include parents (fresh ones in Ben's case), siblings (including their younger "genderswap" counterparts, Kaity and Chris) and cousins. And the two even made new friends out of those they had singing matches with, which Pico really enjoyed seeing.

As for ErrorSky, she ended up coming into the new universe as an accidental anomaly, and found herself admiring Benjamin like most iterations of Sky would admire their Boyfriends. Predictably, it backfired in her face, but she came out of it not wanting to intrude on Benjamin's love life. Unfortunately, she became a prime target for the monster known as Toxinfect, but with help from one of the other victims of his wrath, she overcame the monster and guaranteed her escape, even reconciling with Benjamin and Grace afterwards.

During that same time, the Corruption struck Philly, courtesy of the Lemon Demon, though it lasted two weeks in total, and unfortunately for the Monster, it grew in sentience and soon betrayed him. Thankfully, Benjamin, Grace, Pico and their companions were all able to fight off the virus and get rid of it. And better still, they got on Daniel Dearest's good side permanently thanks to this. If Agent Blueballs' foothold on canon events were to apply here from Funkinverse, then the Corruption is their shared canon event.

After both these events, ErrorSky became besties with Benjamin and Grace, preferring to remain at a friend level to make up for her prior advances, though has been blushy in Grace's presence as well as Benjamin's. It's sometime after that the blasted cartridge incident came back, this time in the form of a disc with Mario AND Sonic horrors within. This time, they avoided death, freed SHM from the confines (who was Victim #1, or "Madeline") and overpowered Xenophanes, who was the REAL mastermind behind it.

Once that was all said and done, the four discovered the path into the Errorverse via an interdimensional portal. Thanks to going through it, they ended out aging down into teens, like Nitro and his siblings before them. Thanks to this, they ended up becoming more involved in the quests of those in this dimension; helping free the Literature Club girls from their game for good, Benjamin giving a kid dubbed "AE M." companionship (and leading to them becoming boyfriends), fighting off evil corporate businessmen and sentient viruses, and further expanding Benjamin's music scene overall.

Speaking of that, the influence of Funkin' culture has happened to be part of the multiverse's music scene, even if it's not to everyone's tastes. And it just so happens that it seems to be popular in Dimension MP-2021, especially with OMT!Tails. It's to the point where, when CR!Sonic told him to keep calm about the wall-clinging in One More Hero, he did some of the beatboxing from "Fresh" to keep him steady. Of his composed songs, of course, Benjamin isn't too proud about "Really Happy" from Sunday Night, considering its nature and the awful screen-shake effect it caused.

This later leads into More than One Universe, the point where Benjamin and his crew are brought into the events via the Errorverse link. Through this, they each lent a hand in apprehending the villains that had leaked through into the OMT universe. During this time, however, Benjamin almost fell victim to demonic possession from the Puhoi curse, with three outcomes; him escaping solo with Soul BF, him losing and branching into becoming Bently, and, in the case of the scenario post-EV-rewrite, Nitro interfering before it can hold for long.

After the end of it, Benjamin was happy to sign an autograph for OMT!Tails, since the kid was a pretty big fanboy of him, and EV!Sonic saw quite the potential in him, since Benjamin was an angel in this shared universe. The following day was when Pico finally came clean to Benjamin about the timeline reset, which he took pretty well, all-in-all. And that Christmas, he met Soft Benjamin (a younger incarnation) for the first time, he, the Mikus and Dearests gave the Fairests their karma and prompt arrest, and he decided to adopt Softie into his family, which the kid was really happy about. It's through Softie that he got to meet his other counterparts from other universes (like Neo, B3, Minus, B-Sides, D-Sides and Arrow Funk).

Amongst other things, he has also been taking good care of Evan from FNF: Childhood Memories, and helps babysit him each Sunday in his free time, the time they spend together reigniting some of Benjamin's childhood memories. Since Evan and Holly obviously aren't suited for combat, it's why neither actually appear in the base stories, as I've planned to instead feature them in more casual slice-of-life storylines to tie in to the mod while work on it continues.

Sometime after this was when The X struck during one of Salty's crusades, and the attack left Sunday, roommate of Carol and good friend of Ben and Grace, with protanopia, meaning they can't see red anymore. When Cam (Agent Blueballs) tried to recruit Benjamin into the Funkin' Society using Kenji as association, this backfired massively, and due to Benjamin's well-respected position amongst the Boyfriends, this quickly earned Cam even MORE ire amongst counterparts across the multiverse), including from the original Soft Pico.

After The X was successfully detained by the Quill Society, which took more work than you'd think despite him being weaker by the events of IAB!, EV!Sonic approached Benjamin for a potential place in the Quill Society, which he accepted, though was confused about.

As EV!Sonic explained later, Benjamin was offered this place due to a mix of him being an angel, him sporting the ECHO ability to keep pace with hostile villains, and indirectly hailing from a SEGA property thanks to his ties with Hatsune Miku. These were enough to give Benjamin his position in the group, and he was able to increase his connections through it. ErrorSky also joined in, having built her own community with other Skys. That said, she dislikes Miko a LOT, due to her being an internet jerk.

As for Pico, his quest to ensure a better future for his friends paid off, and he could get his closure for the original BF and GF in that their legacy would live on through his newer friends and their families.

To count any canon events each of the crew have gone through (relative to Blueballs' way of thinking in the Funkin' Society):

Benjamin:

He had dropped out of high school, though not immediately, only after the Corruption was gone to ensure it couldn't hurt any of his classmates.

Benjamin has three companions supporting him together; Grace, Pico and ErrorSky. The latter two are not committed relationships, which isn't a requirement.

The bad song Benjamin composed was "Really Happy", and he's actively not proud of it.

Benjamin has fought off the Corruption when it struck his world, and has never encountered or been claimed by any denizens of the Darkness.

Grace:

Like Benjamin, she only dropped out of high school in the aftermath of the Corruption.

Grace has Benjamin as her main supporting companion.

She encountered the Corruption much like her friends, though was never claimed by the Darkness.

Pico:

Pico dropped out of high school in the aftermath of the shooting incident, like his original self did, and moved to mercenary work. However, in the new timeline, it's only undercover work to get Daniel Dearest back on a good side.

Pico's supporting companions, as usual, are Nene and Darnell, though he's yet to make things click romantically with either.

Pico, as per his canon event, took a stand against the Corruption first-hand and aided in eradicating it after being freed. He also had to fight off one Darkness infectee and came out no worse for wear.

He lost the original Boyfriend and Girlfriend in his canon event.

ErrorSky:

As per tradition for Sky variants, ErrorSky had crushed on Benjamin in the past, though saw what she was doing was wrong.

Her parents died through her canon event, courtesy of Toxinfect.

Benjamin's top-selling songs:

A cover of Vocaloid song "Idol", deviating from his usual beep-boop singing act.

"Serendipity" from Vs. Radi and Lofie (ft. Lofie)

"The Division - Destruction of Boyfriend" (cover of his own sister's song; ft. Softie)

And as for a little extra trivia related to the bunch:

ErrorSky actively dislikes Miko and has gone to great lengths to vandalise her twisted social media acts for the sakes of others. She's also actively at odds with Faker Sky, those two being the ONLY Skies she hates.

Pico had been twice-shy around Nene, having once kissed her cheek to cheer her up, but feeling extremely embarrassed about it afterwards.

I thought it was a crush or a short fling, well anyway, that girl can SING!! I’m not a Hannah basher and we cant choose who Sam wants, but as a singer Kaity is much, much better than Hannah."

Sam DEFINITELY had a big fat crush on that girl Cloves, she was all he could talk about in interviews and he included nearly all her album in his Transonic Experience playlist but I'm pretty sure it wasn't reciprocated. The only reason Sam and Hannah are a thing now is because Cloves couldn't be bothered to give Sam the time of day and I wonder if Hannah knows or realizes this.

She was an accidental child. She just appeared one day, and her dads don’t know how or why, until sometime later.

She was clingy as a baby and kid. She still is a bit now but not as bad as back then. She used to cling to Husk the most back when she was very young.

She stutters easily, especially around Maddie, which is why she prefers to share her affection through her actions. Marcus uses her stuttering to tell if she is lying because it becomes worse when she is lying.

Her favourite colour is bubblegum pink, but she might just really like pink in general because her wardrobe consists of many pink clothes.

As to not confuse one with the other, she refers to Angel as Papa or Pa and Husk as Dada or Dad.

She isn’t called “Kitty” by her family, and that is because Angel calls Husk “kitty” and they don’t want to get the two confused, even though if it still happens.

She sometimes sings “Spider-cat! Spider-cat! Does whatever a spider-cat does!”, and Maddie likes to join in, even if she isn’t good at singing.

She performs with Vincent and Noah when they are playing at the hotel. She usually plays the piano, but she does sometimes duet with Vincent.

She has been in a relationship with Maddie ever since she was 17. Before that, they were close friends.

She is not a morning person. She is known to hit Maddie, who is a morning person, with pillows when she tries to get her up.

Like some of the other fankids in the AU, she was a one-of that became a main character after the AU was developed.

She is one of the fankids that has had the least amount of change from her first design to her final design. The biggest change has to be her second pair of arms, which used to look very different.

Ignorance is bliss

Summary: Jacob and his childhood best friend slowly realise their feelings while trying to survive the quarry.

Pairing: Jacob Custos x nameless/female!OC

Warnings: jealousy, cringe dialogue, miscommunication trope, pure ignorance

Chapter 5:

After we sing some midday songs, one half of the counsellors takes the kids to Abi’s work station, the others are instructed to start cleaning up the places that weren’t needed today and tomorrow.

Jacob tries to get in my team but Kaitlyn drags him with her before he can object and i walk down to my hiking station alone, gathering random forgotten bits while trying not to think about what Kait said.

I’m done way too quickly so i lay down in the grass and look at the clouds. thinking about my future.

we three would move in together, the house was already chosen by Jacob’s parents and rented by mine…maybe also an overprotective rich schtick by his.

Kaitlyn’s parents were glad we were all together, taking care of their little ‚kitty‘.

i snort, Kaiti would kill me if she knew i thought about that nickname.

and my parents….didn’t really care. they promised to help with the move but who knows what could come in-between…Jacob was the most reliable person i know.

that realisation made me sit up.

Well. Kaitlyn too. but more in the practical sense. she was more ruthless…

Jake was the one that was always there to consult me…for every heartbreak, for every bad grade, for every cancelled family time…he, his stupid yellow van and infuriating…cute…grin had always been right outside my window.

he would drive us to Kaitlyn’s house and then imagine some scenario that made Kaitlyn come right out the door.

and then we would drive around, sit at the weirdest parking lots or lay on the littlest patch of grass we could find.

i couldn’t risk all of that for a stupid feeling i got once.

well…with one eye closed only once.

„Fuck.“ i whisper and stand up.

„okay. under no circumstances we will talk about that feeling. even if we now know that it’s there.“ i coach myself while slowly walking back to the lodge with everything i found.

at the lodge the others aren’t back yet so i clean up slowly, now truly focused on my game plan.

god me, Kaitlyn and Jacob were such cliché athletes weren’t we?

i giggle quietly about that realisation when the doors slam open and kids flood the room again.

„OH! are you already back?“

the kids swarm me and show me each and every band they made for me or anyone else.

i talk to them attentively and don’t even notice that the other counsellors came with them.

„Hey-.“ Jacob starts but is called back by Mr. H. for the fire pit and he sighs before walking off, i didn’t even meet his eyes.

„Kaitlyn made you something (Y/N)!!!“ one of the kids yell and Kaitlyn scoffs embarrassed.

„oh really? did the mean, mean Kaitlyn make me a friendship bracelet?“ i asked with a teasing tone.

she rolls her eyes and shoves it into my hands.

it was our colours. yellow, black and green. and our initials woven into it.

i actually start tearing up a little when i see and she notices.

„hey, it’s no biggy. Jake made them. he wanted me to give you it tho…“ she gives me a meaningful stare and i sigh.

„okay i need help putting it on, can one of you please help me?“ i ask into the small round of kids gathered around me and the bracelet is promptly secured on my wrist.

Kaitlyn pats my shoulder and we walk towards the fire pit together.

back at the fire pit, the kids thankfully all want to sit around me so i had a natural barrier against Hurricane Jake…god i love that nickname. platonically of course. yeah. yeah. anyways.

Jacob and Nick appear with the fire wood right after all our kids had settled down and i act like i’m busy with the kids.

he sits down right opposite to me and tries multiple times to signal me to leave with him but i stay strong.

after some time, Mr H. notices and gives him more duties to keep him contained.

Jacob walks off sulking and Mr H. gives me a concerned look which i shake my head at.

nothing was wrong. haha. hm.

i sing more songs and dance until Jacob comes back with a big boxes after some time and sits down opposite me again.

Mr H. opens the box and takes out the letters the kids wrote at the start of the camp…and the letters we wrote at the start of our journey to the quarry.

„oh god.“ i mutter and Abigail giggles as she was the only counsellor that heard me.

„Kids. you know what these are right?“

„yesss!“ the kids yell and he smiles.

„those were the letters you wrote to yourself, 2 months ago. i’ll give them back to you now and you can read them and if you want to you can read them out loud of everyone, but we won’t force you. those words are very, very private.“

he picks up the first envelope and shouts out the name.

when he’s done he still has 8 letters in his hand.

„and those are the letters our hardworking counsellors wrote to themselves before they drove here. those are also very private. but you can also read them to us if you want to.“

he gives the letters out alphabetically and i give him a smile when he pushes my letter into my hands.

i read slowly.

i was excited for this camp, the new experiences as a counsellor…excited to spend time with my best friends. find new friends.

once i’m done i look up and watch the others read their letters.

Ryan is deeply in thought, Emma is smiling and Jacob is furrowing his brow before raising his hand. „Mr H.“ „yeah?“ „i would like to read my letter, if it’s okay.“ „sure Jacob.“ Mr H. sits back down and gives him the go to start reading.

„uh okay- it’s going to be a bit weird…but yeah. those are my feelings.“

i gulp at the word feelings.

„hey Jakey, it’s me, from 2 months ago. i’m writing this right before picking up Kaitlyn and then (Y/N) to drive to the train stations to pick up the other guys. Somehow Mr H. got me to be the driver this year, i dunno how he did that. uh yeah. he said we should write about our feelings, and yeah. that’s weird.“

the kids giggle around him as he scoffs smiling at himself.

„i’m really f- flipping excited to get out of our town. i mean it’s ours and i love it but yeah. maybe it will different for us. like without tech and stuff. just sports and nature. i know (Y/N) gonna love hiking around all day. and Kaitlyn’s gonna love it too. in her own way. and i’m gonna love being with them. doing the sh- stuff i love. for 2 flipping months. like dude. that’s like all summer. all by ourselves. out of this town. with new people. like a test thing before we move to college…together.“ he stops for a second and my eyes snap from the fire to him automatically.

he’s looking right at me.

„we three are going to be together forever. whatever happens.“ he says without looking at the paper.

i stare into his eyes.

mind blank.

he swallows and looks back down.

„uh yeah- whatever happens…and dude am i excited for the other dudes.“

the guys start cheering.

„and the kids….f- fling i forgot my baseball bat.“ he stops reading and looks up again, „i packed that before writing on.“

„i’m going to miss my cat tho. i hope mom actually cares for her, but yeah. after this summer she’s going to come with us.“

i smile. i miss his cat as well.

„Mr H. said we should write a goal we have for this summer,“ he explains, „i didn’t really write about it, i just made a check list.“

„typical jock.“ Ryan mutters and Jacob huffs but continues, „first, stay strong. like muscles. because of my scholarship.“

„well you definitely achieved that,“ Nick laughs.

„second, don’t make (Y/N) or Kaitlyn hate you…“ he looks up at the two of us and we both frown.

i from shock, her from unwanted affection. „well yeah, i- don’t think we’re mad at you.“ Kaitlyn says, awkwardly and i nod fast.

„third, make it a good time for everyone.“

Mr H. pats his back, „You did that son.“

he nods and looks back at the paper.

„yeah. that’s it.“

„okay. thank you Jacob for reading. anyone else?“ Mr H. looked around the fire and a few kids raised their hands but no other counsellors.

„well then, Olivia, how about you read next.“

i don’t really listen anymore.

too tired and too…thoughtful.

Kaitlyn drags me up with her when the night finally comes to an end.

i sing the camp song one last time and Mr H. splits the group again, one for cleaning up, one for bringing the kids to the cabins.

I’m team cabin and walk to the front of the group before any wardrobe man could sneak into my point of view.

since Mr H. patrolled the cabins there was no way for us to sneak out for one last party without kids and i fall asleep before Emma could ponder over any other idea.

it's the next morning, some kids ask me for the favour of Jacob but i tell them that they have to ask him themselves.

i throw my bag inside his van first thing in the morning, while he is getting bombarded with questions, so he can't even look at me.

thank god.

I'm too embarrassed for any contact with him.

the drive home would be prison.

at 6 pm all the kids wander inside the big bus, the bags were carried by Jacob, due to the favour and i wave from the banister with Dylan and Nick.

after that i follow them inside like a dog while Kaitlyn watches me leave from downstairs.

our first conversation would be once we three were alone on the highway to home and it would entail nothing about feelings, or love, or Emma, or Nick, or anyone else. only good old friends. platonically friends.

i try to get myself into a good mood inside the toilet by smiling fake but Dylan’s hard knock gets me out of my feelings.

„Come on (Y/N), other people need to shit too.“ „sorry!“ i come out and give him a small smile, „sorry.“

he only hums and locks the door in my face.

i hear Jacob’s boots approach the main hall, so i scramble to the next door and land in a small living room, made writing room. i hear Jacob talking to Nick and Dylan, then a sigh and how two bags are picked up.

„air’s clean.“ Nick yells and laughs at my expression when i come out hesitantly. „you can’t hide forever alright?“ he asks in his Australian accent.

„i- that is a problem for future me.“ i mutter and look at the front door, scared he will come back.

Dylan hums and wants to say something but is interrupted by Mr H. „Kids, come get the phones.“

„ah. finally.“ Dylan sighs and Nick and I snicker.

I intentionally don’t take Jacob’s phone, only the phones of the girls. but Nick is fast than me when it come to Abigail’s.

I give him a knowing look and he smiles.

„well then. bring them the phones, i’ll be right with you…“ Mr H. mutters and we all hum, too busy with the implications.

i give the boys the right of way and lowkey hide behind Dylan as Nick throws Jacob his phone. when they walk down the stairs i act busy with my phone, even though there is no signal and no notifications and stay between Dylan and Nick.

after Emma and Abigail arrive without their bags, Mr H. and Ryan come back with the van keys and Dylan mopes about his phone battery, Jacob tries to start the van.

„What’s wrong?“ Mr. H. asks, weirdly stressed. „Ugh…Dude. i don’t know. i- i think there’s something wrong with the engine, Mr H.“

i sigh and cross my arms, while the situation gets even more heated.

finally Mr H. tries to start the van himself and Jacob wanders beside me.

i shrink into myself and try to keep calm. his stupid green shirt looks too good.

„I thought i told you kids to check everything!“ Mr H. yells and i jump.

Jacob puts his hands inside his pockets and hums.

Kaitlyn tries to defend herself, but Mr H. doesn’t take it and she and Jacob share a look. He steps out again with a swear.

„well, uh- Look it’s not that big of a deal, we’ll just spend one more night here.“ Jacob says slightly concerned why Mr H. is so aggressive now.

„No- NO. Just stop. let me think.“ i jump again as he now yells exactly at us and Jacob take a step forward to give me protection.

Ryan follows Mr H. with his eyes, now really confused.

He catches the keys Mr H. throws him and follow him while he is muttering around like a mad man.

after a short private conversation where Ryan just frowns in confusion, Mr H. drives backwards, almost hitting me, if Jacob and i didn’t jump out of the way and he is off.

„What’s with our bags?“ Emma yells after him but he is long gone.

„so…what was that about?“ Dylan asks into the round.

„he uh…said to stay inside. that we’re not leaving until the morning.“

„are you kidding me?“ Emma yells and my mouth falls open.

another night. with this shit hanging over my best friend and me. i can’t help but look at him but he is grinning from ear to ear.

„Oh (Y/N)…“ he’s swaying from side to side as i cradle my head in my hands, ignoring the feeling spreading in my stomach because he said my name.

„fuck. my. life…“ i mutter as Jacob dances around.

„what are we supposed to do?!“ Emma yells again.

„we should go inside. like he said…“ Ryan’s deep voice beside me said.

But Dylan had a different idea.

„We could go inside. until morning…or…or we could do something else.“

i raise my head. Dylan always had genius ideas. maybe he knew a way home.

i groan, but Dylan talked on, „It seems like that stars have aligned for us. no?“

i didn’t really have another choice. either staying the night alone, with the possible threat of talking about FEELINGS when Jacob corners me with no distractions. or with others and no possible way to talk about feelings.

i sigh quietly while Jacob jumps around.

„oh, dude. fuck yes! I’m in. Nick, you’re in.“ Jacob said excitedly besides me, while pointing at Nick who nods relaxed.

„Dylan’s in. Obviously. my man.“

interesting he knew his name now huh.

„i’m with Dylan.“ i say before Jacob can address me, staring on the floor. „yeah dude!“ Dylan high-fives me with more enthusiasm than i could ever have.

Kaitlyn agreed, Emma as well.

Abigail didn’t really want to, but also not really had another choice and finally Ryan reluctantly agreed, but said it was a bad idea, which made me snicker.

Jacob takes the planning lead, obviously.

Abigail and Nick for firewood, obviously.

„(Y/N) and i will go to the stores for some supplies…“ he teases and i gulp but Emma comes to my rescue.

„I’ll go. (Y/N)’s probably still exhausted from the hike right?“ „Right.“ i say quickly and don’t meet Jacob’s eyes. he would catch me lying. he always did.

„(Y/N) comes with me to the fire pit. we need to talk anyways.“ Kaitlyn's bee earrings are the last thing i see before i get dragged off into the sunset.

Into, Across and Beyond!: Changes from the Universal Resets

WARNING!: Unmarked spoilers for Mario's Madness and Undertale Yellow below.

As discussed in prior posts, two whole universes ended up being reset via in-universe circumstances, akin to the Super Genesis Wave. There are several changes that happened between the two universes, but I'll go into detail about them here.

Dimension FNF-2020 (Pre-Reset)

Boyfriend and Girlfriend met through unknown circumstances and quickly fell in love.

Due to unfaltering bravery, BF breezed through many challenges life threw at him.

Boyfriend's only family member is Ritz the Rat, who he adopted, while Girlfriend only had her parents.

Pico stopped the school shooting, but many lives were lost.

Boyfriend often challenged those who weren't in the mood for it.

The Vs. Sonic.exe and Mario's Madness events happened separately.

During the Corruption, Boyfriend went plain and simple over the course of 2 days to get rid of it after breaking free.

Aside from Hex, Carol and Sunday, BF didn't fully bond with all the mod rivals he met along the way.

The breaking point came when SHM assimilated Girlfriend, driving BF into a mix of heartbreak and fury in his final moments, before he ended up dying.

Pico was the sole survivor of the Mario's Madness events, and unwittingly caused the reset when stumbling across an entity resembling Bowser.

Dimension FNF-NEW-2023 (Post-Reset)

Benjamin and Grace met at high school and became close friends. Love blossomed as they grew closer to one another.

Benjamin clearly isn't as brave as Boyfriend was, but he still did his best to tackle the challenges life threw at him.

Benjamin and Grace's families are bigger, including parents, siblings (including their younger "genderswap" counterparts, Kaity and Chris) and cousins.

Pico, due to retaining his memories post-reset, managed to stop the school shooting quicker by going straight for Cassandra, saving many more lives than he would've otherwise.

Benjamin is fully considerate about who he faced, and if they didn't want to do it, there's no hard feelings or force on the guy's part.

Mario's Madness and Vs. Sonic.exe happened together in the same cartridge, and this time, Benjamin came out alive, even giving M a second chance as his variant of Cappy.

The Corruption lasted at least two weeks, with Benjamin and the freed people giving it their all to get rid of it.

Benjamin gained many friends out of those he was able to get friendly singing competitions out of.

In this universe, Updike (like in VS Whitty Fire Fight) realised he wasn't capable of his job and shut down the Greater Good after encouragement from Whitty to have a second chance.

Benjamin, after More than One Universe, got Soft Boyfriend/Benjamin adopted into his family, and even got to make new friends out of the interdimensional BFs and GFs.

Dimension EV-2019 (Pre-Reset)

A demonic thing known as the Puhoi Curse was one of the driving forces of events, and doomed the young Audrey after he was unwillingly corrupted by it. It's also what forced Bently into a new life.

In the original Errorverse, Dr. Eggman, after enough time, redeemed himself and became Mr. Tinker.

Many More Heroes doesn't happen pre-reset.

Various failed timelines occurred, though many of their denizens were able to get safety through the Omega Timeline/OMEGA Universe.

Seak was outright insane to the end and did not get a happy ending, only earning the ire of his big brother, Teak.

Clover (from UT Yellow) remains deceased after the events of that game.

During one event, Amber Lightvale was still alive and well, and thanks to a still-alive Bete Noire messing with a deadly virus, she caused the two to split bodies. (Yes, both Underverse and Glitchtale occurred in the Errorverse.)

Through a lead-up in harsh circumstances, Brian, Calteron's guardian, was ultimately killed trying to stop Puhoi's tyranny.

A strange galaxy-like energy caused the big reset to happen.

Dimension EV-2019 (Post-Reset)

The Puhoi Curse never occurred, so Audrey is able to co-exist with other cast members without its threat holding over him.

Post-reset, Dr. Eggman and Mr. Tinker were split into separate people, the doctor even bringing in his own version of the SSSSS Squad to fight EV!Sonic with. No points for guessing where that got him.

Evo, Nitro's younger brother, and Sid Chang (who's friends with the brothers and their sisters alongside Lincoln, Clyde and Ronnie-Anne) both started up their own science group that Seak, who is much more stable and adorable, regularly attends as a way to make friends.

Post-reset, due to EV!Sonic's meeting with Tekno, Many More Heroes and the other IAB! stories after More than One Universe are able to properly occur, thanks to the Quill Society being formed from their bonds.

The failed timelines still happened, but thankfully, the OMEGA Universe was still open for them as per normal.

Post-reset, because Clover willingly gave their soul for the underground, they were unconscious until Frisk came back to return their soul after permanently shattering the barrier. As such, they now enjoy life on the surface with other monsters, including Martlet.

In the "rewrite" universe post-reset, while Bete Noire is reincarnated after Glitchtale, she isn't in control anymore, as Amber now has host of her body, complete with a more cute version of Akumu. In Amber's case, what you see on the outside is what you get.

Brian is alive and well post-reset, still taking his job as guardian with utmost pride.

Since they met the canon Sonic (or Sonic Prime/Prime Sonic, whichever you wanna call him), Exester and Nameless recall a time when Sonic.EXEs attacked the Prime dimension, though haven't really elaborated on it. Ask @mcgamejolter if you wish to know more.

For the two resets, those that fully recall all of the pre-reset events are Pico, Nitro, Amelia, Reemah and Enzo (close friends of Brian), EV!Sonic, EV!Tails, EV!Knuckles, EV!Amy, Teak, Daveline (Teak's GF) and Brian himself, all thanks to an orb holding those old memories. Said orb shattered after the memories were restored.

In addition, anyone in the Blur Gang, alongside those holding Time Stones, completely recall all of what occurred. As such, there's no confusion on their ends about what happened.
