Translation notes *咽返る as in 咽せ返る, removing the せ makes it read as "pulling one's throat back," hence the "recoiling" **The verb here - karameru or "entwine" - is almost identical to the spelling of caramel in the previous line, making it like a comparison. ***I think it's worth mentioning that 邪魔 here is a word used in the phrase is お邪魔します, which is common to use when entering someone's room/house and means "sorry to interrupt you." Just a funny double meaning/connotation that I wouldn't want to be left vague or totally lost given that the only 'villain' we're given in this story is their parents…if you get it you get it. ****結ばれる means to be united/joined in marriage but also "to be fastened" as in like…tying together a knot. I mean like uhhh yeah you know what this is also if you get it you get it like if you know you know, you know?

I know I haven't posted all of them here yet, but this is just something fun I can do in the meantime and preemptively have available. The puns are the really fun parts, after all. Not all of them are DB ocs, and not all of my ocs have name puns. These are just the ones that do. If I ever make more, I'll add to this.

Maki Asabi: 巻き寿司 (makizushi) -> sushi rolls. Asabi -> wasabi, commonly served with sushi in the United States.

Kabocha: Kabocha, a type of squash. Also referred to as the Japanese pumpkin.

Frez: Fraise -> strawberry

Korget: Courgette -> zucchini

Geler: Geler -> to freeze

Ube: A purple yam common in Filipino cooking.

Asaroth: "Azarath metrion zinthos" -> incantation used by Raven in DC comics.

Shimbaree: "Shimbaree, shimbarah" -> incantation used in Barney and Friends. Her birth name, Chimbara, stems from the same pun.

Sala: "Sim sala bim" -> German equivalent to "abracadabra", but also used as an incantation in Jonny Quest.

Inri: Hebrew magical formula for reincarnation.

Selica: "Salakadoola mechikaboola bibbidi bobbidi boo" -> incantation used in Disney's "Cinderella"

K&K Main Cast

A list of characters from my and @chibbycookie story! This list is for the main cast. 

K&K, short for Knights and Knightness is a slice of life with supernatural and drama about some teens living in Fallen View, a small north-west coastal town with some very interesting townsfolk. Defined by the supernatural world as a “mixtum” town, those who live in Fallen View are not completely human, as part of them have monsters and other creatures blood in them. Supernatural creatures, monsters and more have to be careful roaming in mixtum towns as those living in them can perceive them

Ringo Karameru

5′8″, She/Her pureblood human, as far as she knows .

The new girl in town and probably the most normal same person, as least according to her. Sweet and caring, she also tries to stops fights but hurt one of her loved ones and she’ll finish the fight instead.  She is also the newest member of the Fallen View Sewing Club.    

Sake Vidrio 

5′6″, She/Her descendent of a changeling

She is a loud, rude bisexual punk jock with no filters and always has access to drinks. Sake is always up for exploration, especially creepy abandoned places, and loves things supernatural.

Amaranth

5′2″, She/Her/They/Them, Angeling 

Innocents and sweet looking, Amaranth will always listen to your problems while finding your secrets. She doesn’t mind living in Fallen View under the order of Heaven, as she herself doesn’t trust her higher ups.

Chain

5′10″, He/Him/She/Her Death angel 

A ward under Bloodrayne, Chain’s main duty is to escort those who have passed in Fallen View to the afterlife. A bit of a tsundere and quick to lash out, however, he occasionally  shows a soft side to those he trusts.

Flamberge

6′0″, He/Him, Demon-slayer Angel

A former caption of an angeling demon hunting group and a prodigy, Flamberge shocked his higher ups and fellow hunters when he decided to turn in his badge in and leave for Fallen View with Amaranth. With an impressive armory of swords, those with foul plans better be prepare for this angel.
