Jessamine Potter, also known as Jessy, grew up cold and emotionless because of the way the Dursleys treated her. It left her feeling isolated, until she befriends another outcast loser like her. For the first time in her ten years of life, she finally feels like she has a friend - family.

She decides that she will do anything for this boy. This person who treats like how she wants to be treated. An equal, someone who wants her around. She was shocked yet delighted when she found out that October is going to Hogwarts too.

At least she's not going in alone. Then she meets two other girls, Belladonna O'Riley, and Azalea McKenna who all seem to come from the same family-less background like her. Who's to say that they can't form their own family?

October Hansley is British-American, British on his mother's side, American on his father's side. He moved to Magnolia Crescent when he was ten-years-old.

Due to strange things happening around him, his parents become scared of him and start their anger out on 'that freak of nature'. It led to him becoming withdrawn and he once ran away from home for a week before he was brought back to them.

He ends up meeting Jessy Potter, a strange girl just like him. Due to their oddity, it sparks a friendship and they become the family that they don't have. He would do anything for her, including going with her when Vernon takes off to escape the overflood of letters. Then he meets two other girls and they decide to become the family they don't have.

Belladona O'Riley hates her parents. When she went to her dad to tell him what Emily was doing to her, he brushed off and looked the other way when Emily kept going into her daughter's room at night.

She was glad when she started to go to Hogwarts. She meet Jessamine Potter, the Girl-Who-Lived! She wasn't expecting how cold and detached Jessy seemed to be, but her best friend, October, was outgoing and friendly to make up for it. Azalea McKenna was aloof. However, Bella can tell that there was sadness in them. That was okay, because there was sadness in her too, desite how she tried to be outgoing.

The finale straw came when she went home for the winter holiday, her mother tried to suffocate her with a pillow when she went to bed. She went back to Hogwarts and told her real family what happened. It was relieving that they believed her and they agreed to her decision to kill the bloody witch.

Azalea was raised by ghosts. She was eight when her parents died. She's not entirely sure how they died, but she buried them in the backyard and no one knew. She would go shopping on her own and no one seemed to notice. Her parents refused to accept death and they would 'raise' her like they had died.

Keeping her parents death a secret, she pushed anyone and everyone away in case they take her away from them. However, something about Jessy, October, and Bella intrigued her. They seem to be hiding secrets of their own, and she can't help but branch out to them.

Then Bella comes back to Hogwarts in tears over what happened to her over the winter holidays, saying she wanted to kill her mother. Angry over what that witch did to one of her 'sisters' she started to look into poisons in the restricted section.

These people won't replace her parents, but it would be nice to have someone living to talk to for once. She would do anything to protect her family, even if she had to help kill anyone that harmed them.

"They look so close. It's rather sweet to see members of the four Houses interacting and thinking of each other as family."

When Harry Blaise Theo and the other first year Slytherin boys got to their dorm room Draco started to make fun of Harry because, "he's stuck up, loves being the main character and probably wanted to be in the 'protagonist' house" (aka projecting his own insecurities onto Harry) before Blaise stands up for him and tells Draco to shove off, as well as usually quiet Theo piping up to say that Draco doesn't have to "impress or stand up for his father" here, no one was going to judge him. but when Draco only huffed and slunk away to the furthest bed Theo took the bed next to Harry and cross from Goyle as Blaise took the other bed next to Harry for the night (soon to change the the vey next morning) and they both independently decided to protect Harry from any other Slytherins who wanted to give him trouble for being 'the chosen one'.

Draco Crabbe and Goyle grew up together as their fathers were friends, colleagues, and fellow death eaters. Draco being the smartest and 'purest' blood as well as the richest of them became the default leader of their little group Crabbe and Goyle acting more as henchmen than real friends. this dynamic persisted into their first few years at hogwarts.

Hermione and Amber met briefly on the train before reuniting at the feast bonding over being the only muggle born Gryffindoors in their year other than Dean and solidified their friendship when Lavender and Pravati did not seem to like Hermione's loud know it all personally and did not want to sleep near her for fear she would keep them up talking their ears off. Amber told them off and volunteered to sleep next to her for good measure.

Kellah Seamus and Dean shared a train compartment and a boat and subsequently became fast friends. Kellah and Seamus both being half bloods and more than happy to explain wizerding world things to a nervous muggle born Dean, they stayed friends sticking together and protecting each other through out their years at hogwarts.

Lavender Pravati and Pravati's twin Padma shared a compartment on the train and then a boat across the lake. they were all very surprised when Padma was sorted into Ravenclaw and the her twin into Gryffindoor as twins are rarely separated into different houses but Lavender helped her adjust by comforting Pravati as they bonded over dinner eventually deciding to choose beds next to each other and become friends.

Theo and Draco grew up together because both their parents were death eaters and colleagues but the never spent as much time together as Crabbe Goyle and Draco did because Theo was much more of an introvert than the others were and tended to fall behind, get distracted easily or keep to himself in general ,though Draco treated Theo better and more like an intelligent person compared to treating Crabbe and Goyle like big morons. after the spat in the dorm on the first night at school Draco has started to ignore Theo despite his best efforts to talk to Draco.

Ron and Harry first met when they shared a train compartment but Ron stopped talking to him when Harry got sorted in to Slytherin. They made up soon though when after Neville got hurt falling off his broom. he accidentally left his rememberall behind after the fall and Draco picked it up yelling to the surrounding Slytherins about it, making fun of Neville, and flying up with the rememberall with the intent to hide it out of his reach and Harry stole it back meaning to return it to Neville and consequently impressing the first years present specifically Ron and the other Gryffindoors boys.

Ron and Hermione become friends when after her overhearing him call her a bossy know-it-all she hides in the bathroom for the rest of the day, meanwhile in the great hall the staff and students are told that there is a troll is in the dungeon. Ron then remembers hearing about Hermione in the bathroom and decides to split off from the main group and head to the girls bathroom after he accidentally locks the troll in the bathroom with Hermione, he goes back and breaks back into the bathroom. His attempt at fighting the troll doesn't go exceptionally well and they both get pretty beaten up (especially Hermione) but as luck would have it the teachers arrive in time to save both of them. Ron's stops being as much of a jerk to Hermione after this point.

Harry and Hermione become friends when during Harry's first Quidditch game of the year (and his first ever) ron notices some thing causing Harry's broomstick to buck and try to throw him off. At the same time she notices Snape muttering something to himself while not breaking eye contact with Harry, and while they they aren't very good friends at this point she's not about to sit around when she could stop someone getting hurt, so she sneaks into the Slytherin bleachers and sets Snape's robe on fire to break his eye contact and saves Harry. He then thanks her and tells her that he owes her one. the trio are never as close as they would be in the original story here but they end up hanging out a little bit more often after this.

Tame Impala 'The Slow Rush'

In 2020, it's only logical for Kevin Parker to release a project thematically preoccupied with the passing of time. By 2015, the revisionist psych-rocker had achieved unreasonable levels of success for five years and three albums of material. He picked up Grammy nominations for two of these, went on to collaborate with Lady Gaga, Travis Scott and Kanye West, and enjoyed a lengthy creative process before putting the finishing touches on this widely anticipated fourth release. It's worth remembering just how deserved this wild success was. 2010's Innerspeaker was a cult classic overnight, quickly considered an important landmark for global alternative rock. 2012's Lonerism refused to emulate it, tugging Parker's sound into more dynamic, expansive areas of the psychedelic, to astounding results. Three years later, Currents saw the Australian achieve the perfect communion of (unanimous) critical acclaim and bona fide mainstream appeal, complete with radio play and festival headline slots. Almost single-handedly writing, recording and producing everything, Parker's pantologist reputation was already established before he begun lending a production hand to other artists. His everyman sensibility seemed to be at the centre of a wave of 'slacker rock' personalities down under, in North America, and here in the UK. His work helped reinvent disco, bridging gaps between guitar rock and electronic, alternative and pop, nostalgia and the future. https://youtu.be/utCjuKDXQsE So going into to The Slow Rush, high expectations were both justified and inexorable. Listening to it (repeatedly) and coming out the other end (consistently) disappointed is therefore all the more crushing. Parker's too talented for this to be anywhere near bad. It's been laboured over for too long by somebody too obsessively singular to not be worth the run-time... but, it just isn't great. Opener 'One More Year' kicks off with a throbbing groove as Parker syncopates against the beat: "Do you remember we were standing here a year ago?" The nostalgia shifts between universal and personal, observing how "What we did, one day, on a whim / Has slowly become all we do," before expanding back outwards: "Fifty-two weeks / Seven days each / Four seasons, one reason, one way." It's not the only time Parker engineers a track around memorability and how catchy his hook is. Lead single 'Borderline' (after 'Patience' was left out) may appear here in a slightly different form, but is no less reliant on refrain, sacrificing structural complexity for how successfully it translates to the dance floor. Its rhythmic tendency to stop, start is fine; but it pales in comparison to the repetition-by-design of 'Be Above It' or 'Elephant'. The strategy has better results on another single: 'Posthumous Forgiveness'. The piano heavy 'Breathe Deeper' begins interesting, but goes on two minutes too long and trails off with ninety seconds of muffled voices. 'Tomorrow's Dust' has a similarly uninspired twenty second outro, threatening to undo the refreshing use of acoustic guitar and a cutting electric, and Parker's Thom Yorke-style wailing (a new vocal avenue for the Australian). It's not all disappointment. The irresistible bass lick to 'Lost in Yesterday' echoes the likes we've had since as far back as 'Desire Be, Desire Go'. Its opening line – "When we were livin' in squalor, wasn't it heaven?" – is as instantly iconic as "I'm about to do something crazy, no more delayin'" on 'Instant Destiny', whose warbling synths begin to resemble Sci-Fi the longer it goes on, complete with siren effects. It's one of the few examples of necessary digression within the space of a song, refined into a neat three minutes where others ramble to the six-minute mark. Of these, nothing has the verve and finesse of the showstopping, seven-minute 'Let It Happen' five years ago. The glimmers of epic are pretty sparse on The Slow Rush, which has never been the case for a Tame record, no matter how much Parker's project has mutated and evolved. 'On Track' deceives with a ballad start, before reaching 'Baba O'Riley' heights in its second minute. 'One More Hour' is similarly bombastic, the grand finale to an otherwise cyclical fifty-seven minutes. Early reviews described getting lost in the musical journey of this album, but it's hard to locate one, at least not with the kind of space, range and diversions of Innerspeaker-Currents. Those projects still spoil for choice – as wonderful as 'The Less I Know the Better' is, 'Eventually' is just stunning; ditto 'Feels Like We Only Go Backwards' vs. 'Sun's Coming Up'. While rarely disposable, The Slow Rush offers far more isolated moments of inherently great. Where the more instrumental 'Alter Ego' soars, here we get something as forgettable as 'Glimmer'. Where 'Apocalypse Dreams' and 'The Moment' absolutely kick, here we get 'It Might Be Time', which needed a more rigorous cut in the editing suite. Parker has hardly been one to trim or go for any kind of punk brevity, which made sense up to now. But for an artist so important last decade precisely because he refused to sit still (or interpret "psychedelic" as one univocal thing), it seems odd to not reinvent again this time around. By its second track, he promises "I'm about to do something crazy"; The Slow Rush not only doesn't, but proceeds to give an hour of expensive, polished soundscapes that never dare to be groundbreaking. The result is meticulous but lacks edge. After half a decade out for Tame Impala, it's hard not to ask: "Is this it?"

July 4 juggling in Alliance, Ohio

Independence Day!

I juggled at Silver Park for several hours! It was the longest time on my feet since my leg injury, and I'm happy to say I only needed my crutches a few times!

I juggled four clubs and five and six balls and I juggled with giant hands! I taught many kids and adults how to juggle, and a few of them earned three balls from me for learning to juggle three balls!

The first kid to learn three-ball juggling was 10-year-old Abby, who I taught last year, and came back for more this year! She refreshed her memory of juggling from last year, and then rose up past her previous skills by throwing six or more throws with three balls ("Level 3 juggling"). So I gave her three juggling balls!

I had many helpers July 4! Early on, I had help from Marissa and Dylan, my niece and her brother. Marissa was the first of several kids who helped me juggle with my new giant hands, which I made just for July 4. Dylan helped me watch my things while I was teaching, and stayed many times when I had to leave my equipment temporarily.

For July 4, I made special new juggling hands, three times as big as my other ones, and bigger balls to go with them! The new hands proved difficult to work with, but some kids and I had fun trying to figure out how to juggle three of the giant balls!

So many kids and young adults came to try some juggling, to try racket tricks and to play "racket catch!" Kylie, Jennifer, Torian, Tyler, Zack, Sam, Mia, Ashton, Kevin, Dominic, Cole, Nick, and more!

At 7:40 I was invited to juggle at the stage for the audience gathered there, while the DJ played "Baba O'Riley" and several other songs! It was my crowning achievement! And then after I juggled, several of the Carnation Queen contestants asked me to teach them juggling! :P

During the day there were a few kids who stuck with me for a long time! Among them were Kylie, Ashton, and Nick. They stayed and practiced juggling while I was at the stage.

Nick, in particular, learned three balls and went on to juggling two clubs! We were passing back and forth and doing progressively more difficult tasks! He earned three juggling balls! He invited his Dad over to watch us practice! I hope I see Nick and/or his Dad in the future at some of my daily juggling lessons.

Nick kept juggling until the very last moment when I packed up and left. And then there were fireworks! And the night was over.

Thanks to everyone who helped me and encouraged me on July 4! I can't wait to do it agan until next year!
