I just find it soo funny how asoiaf fandom can accept all the kinds of craizy theories but can't accept the fact that Sansa will escape from Vale and the Littlefinger beacuse that somehow can't happend but everything else can like D#ny going to the North even trough her main storyline is more conected to the Kingslading and the Iron Throne than with a treat of White walkers on the North

It's not about the crazy-level of the theory, it's about how inconvenient it would be to many other popular theories for Sansa to suddenly leave her Safe Parking Spot and show up in other places, where she might "steal" plotlines they would prefer to reserve for their faves.

Okay sooo, what do you think about this? When aemond was younger he was in love with his niece, cause she was the only one giving him attention. When the incident with his eye happend he didn’t see her for six years all these years he is obsessing about her.

After six years they return to kingslading and finally sees her, stalking her trough the redkeep sneaking up on her etc being creepy.

I keep hoping for good things! It’s Sharon Carter Month, after all! But I think the closer we get to Endgame, the more we’re going to see non-fans anxiously trying to justify reasons we’ll never see her again.

All I have is hope that we WILL see her again, at which point the non-fans will complain about how we saw her again, even though she’s only a love interest no matter what she does.

I’ll start this by saying that I am a deeply insecure person so this answer is always changing and sometimes it genially is nothing. But right now I love my aptitude for kindness. I have a great deal of kindness in my heart and that often shows by helping our or being soft. I do a lot to help others when I am able to do so based on my skills and energy. So my aptitude for kindness is the current thing I love about myself.

I just can't with people who say they are Dany fans but think it was in character for her to burn down the city. What in the books would indicate Sansa or Bran would be a better ruler? Because I've seen nothing like that.

People who say they’re Dany stans but say it was in character for her to burn down Kings Landing don’t know her character at all. Daenerys literally says in the books that she doesn’t want to burn down Kingslading...

Anyone who says that it was in character for her to burn down Kingslanding have no understanding of her character, and that’s the hill I will die on.

As for the second part of the ask, I haven’t read all of the books but I do know that Bran was trained to be Lord of Winterfell in Roobs stead while he was away for war. I think he’d make a fine ruler, actually. Isaac has already said that grrm said he’d be King in the end, I assume he’ll be King in the North though, not King of Westeros.

As for Sansa, she has seen how Cersei ‘ruled’ and is now being taught by Littlefinger how to ‘play the game of thrones’. However, learning to play the game of thrones doesn’t mean she’d make a good ruler.

We’ll just have to see where grrm takes them.

I read a meta where arya could have something to do with the destruction of kingslading using wildfire or something like that, but I do not think so, any idea?

first of all, thanks for being so patient with me. I’m very much behind with my asks.... Work is a bitch at the moment.

I do think that for several of the characters in ASOIAF there are two poles that define their arc, mirroring the overall theme of the opposite of ‘ice and fire’. For example for Jon it is love and duty, for Tyrion it might be self-respect and respect for others, for Da€nerys it might be home and power (while paradoxically her pole ‘power’ is defined by the words of her house) etc. And the characters oscillate between the poles and their arc is defined by what they learn about it and what happens when they choose one of the poles. The interesting thing is, that these poles are not good and bad. Following love or duty can have terrible consequences if taken to the extreme. Look at Stannis: A man of duty if there ever was one, and yet his choice to sacrifice his daughter for the sake of his ‘duty’ as the champion of Rh’llor will be his downfall (I do think it is likely that he’ll sacrifice Shireen in the books as well). Look at Jaime and “the things he did for love”.

So like with Ice and Fire, who both have to be rejected, for each character both extremes are there, tantalizing and seducing and they have to position themselves in between these poles. If a character chooses one extreme I think they are doomed.

Now, for Arya I think these two poles are ‘mercy’ and ‘revenge’. The chapter in TWOW that has her posing as ‘mercy’ shows her executing an extreme case of revenge (which probably served as a model for her killing of Mervyn Trant on the show). Also, Arya training to be a faceless (wo)man leads her down a dark path where she’ll impersonate death for many people - and probably not only the people on her list.

I think, when Arya will return to Westeros in the books, she’ll come across Lady Stoneheart and will probably be part of the Red Wedding 2.0. which seems to be on the verge of being orchestrated by Stoneheart whose only purpose now is revenge. And although a part of me will rejoice when the Freys die, I’m also aware that the Red Wedding 2.0 will be a terrible act of vengeance, and it will possibly escalate even beyond what Stoneheart plans. I think this will be a very, very dark event and a turning point for Arya who will realise that revenge is not the solution.

I think that this would be enough of a dark turn to justify the “dark heart” line - foretold by the ‘Ghost of High Heart’ who has connections to the Brotherhood without banners, later Stoneheart’s followers, but I fear that GRRM will even go further along the line of mercy and revenge with Arya.

I fear that it will be Arya’s task to kill Stoneheart, and that this killing will be a killing for mercy. It is obvious that Stoneheart will go down with her revenge, and a part of me hopes that somebody else kills her, but it might fall to Arya.

A turn like that would certainly be sufficient to ‘darken’ Arya’s heart. I think, that by the time, Arya will reunite with her family, she might be changed beyond recognition. I fear that the reunion Jon and Arya (and the audience) want so much, will have a twist - Jon and Arya might not recognise each other, Jon because his time in Ghost has changed him and Arya because she might meet Jon when she wears a face.

Bookwise the destruction of King’s Landing via wildfire rather seems to be part of Tyrion’s, Cersei’s and Da€nerys’ arc. I personally doubt that Arya will have anything to do with it. In the books Cersei burned the tower of the hand with wildfire, and I suspect the sept - that was cursed by Sansa in one of her prayers - will burn in the books as well. There should be a third time and to me it seems logical that Cersei is involved in that as well. Tyrion should be involved in this storyline because he is the one who knows about the wildfire and Da€nerys will be part of this because she’ll probably - maybe by accident - will do what her father only threatened to do. I see no hints that Arya would be present to the Wildfire burning in King’s Landing, but of course that’s just my take.

I would love to see Arya as a carefree little girl again, but I doubt GRRM will give this to me.
