After about a year of conceptualizing them, I finally made my general DM.

Magnus is on the same level as Dark Matter Swordsman, second only to them. After DMS’s death (or disappearance depending on your head canon), Magnus replaces them as the main general. He hates traitors, and is known for showing them no mercy. It’s said his very blade was forged from the dead remains of traitors he has slain. Wether that’s true or not really doesn’t matter, as it’s so in character for him that everyone just acts like it is. The only traitor he failed to kill was Arcas, because he was just too quick, but Arcas isn’t really a threat so Magnus also doesn’t care as much as he usually would.

He’s an advocate for keeping defects, Dark Matters that are born with disabilities or anatomy differences. This seems like a good thing, but it’s solely because he recognizes that more bodies that he can throw in front of star warriors, the less actually useful warriors will die. He doesn’t care about them, seeing them purely as meat shields. He’s an ass, lol.

Name: Rox

Personality: Rox has a cheerful personality, he's really energetic but can get easily disinterested, Unfortunately he likes to mock people just to mess with them, and he's kind of a "hot-headed" guy, but when he gets comfortable with others, he's just really sweet and caring, it can get time to get to him to open, but he tries his best to be kind with everyone (⁠ ⁠T⁠_⁠T⁠)

Backstory: his backstory is really related with another of my oc's, so i'll try to resume it, rox works in a post office and is in charge of sending packages, this doesn't make him very happy so he's mostly just wanting the day to end to go home, in one of those days he sees a black spot landing in the forest, hes really curious about what it can be, so he goes to investigate, when entering the depths of the forest he founds that the thing he saw was a dark matter being, this scared him a little, but hes still curious about him, so he goes up to talk to it, this scares the dark matter because he didn't know they were watching him. After talking a little they become friends!, so now rox teaches and tells him all about dreamland (After this, they have various adventures, and a lot of things happends but I'll leave that for later. )

Let's see where he goes!, even if he's alone in this he has friends supporting him

All Work and No Play

Yeah… Taffeta has a bit of a strained relationship with his father on no small part due to Dark Matter's meddling. As Dedede's carefree and lax nature would not jive well with the relentless conditioning that DM's putting Taffeta through to make him both mentally unstable and physically stronger so that he can be the perfect host for Dark Matter. An entity that thrives on negativity and power.

So, While Taffeta has a sense of respect for his father; He also sees him as a dismissive and lazy king who doesn't seem to take his position all that serious, unlike Taffeta's mother.

Granted, it's not just Dedede that DM does this with. It's just about anybody who might try and steer the crown prince into a healthier direction.

Dedede just gets the brunt of the deflection because he's always trying to encourage Taffeta to do something better for himself. Worried he might become so absorbed in trying to perfect himself, that he might neglect the people around him unintentionally.

So uh... I know it's late but I want to try this time. So lets do this lads I'm throwing my boi Shade Knight into the ring of the @kirbyoctournament Wish us luck!

Personality: Shade Knight is one of the... weirder members of the GSA, but he's a well meaning and kind hearted knight despite his naivete to a majority of the world/galaxy around him. While easy going in nature, he's a master of the blade when backed into a corner, thought... He doesn't remember how he was trained as a knight.

Backstory: For his backstory, Shade Knight, formerly known as Dark Matter Bladesman, used to one of the elite members of Zero's army. The twin blade to Dark Matter Swordsman. After a chance encounter with Meta Knight, Bladesman realized the light within him, the heart he never knew he had. So, in a attempt to chance his ways he faced his twin, but fell to his blade. But by the mercy of a fluttering spectator. He was given a second chance at life and joined the ranks of those who swore to protect the galaxy. But at the cost of losing all memory of who he once was.

Out of curiosity, Valfrey can... See, feel, the souls? Perhaps it's a bit stupid question, but i'm still with doubt

The reason i ask is: How would she react to someone who, perhaps, doesn't have a soul? Maybe an AI, for an example? Most of AI in kirby show to be sentient, ones more than another, but i doubt that means they hace an actual soul... Unless You have a headcanon about this topic

Yes, she can sense souls! And a sentient entity that does not bear a soul can not be properly judged by a reaper and is therefore given a soul to rectify this issue as soon as it is observed, may it be an AI, a clone or freed Dark Matter spawn. Death = Delete for a soulless individual, it'd be considered a failure to Valfrey if she couldn't capture the essence of an individual after death. (This serves somewhat as a continuation to this, which was supposed to be more so to describe DMS’s loss of his original soul and serves as a warning on Valfrey’s part. She purposefully didn’t mention that DMS is still alive and well for this purpose.)

I’ve adored @desultory-novice ‘s Apologies AU! What a fascinating and emotionally compelling universe to explore, with Dark Matter Swordsman being Adeleine’s brother-?! I love every bit of it and I’m so excited to see what’s next!

This particular drawing was inspired by @driftwoodmfb ‘s take on that AU where Noir instead lives on Popstar and Adeleine was the one taken by Dark Matter…. I just love these characters and the story and AHHHH I need to sing your praises from the rooftops!! And AUs within AUs are so delightful :D

Anyway here’s an AU-squared drawing of Noir <3 I kinda referenced multiple of Dess and Drift’s drawings so hope it’s still true to Noir’s design :)
