Finally got to see Psycho Pass Providence. I was unable to see it when it was in the theaters here for 5 days and my lord!! What a phenomenal movie!

Action, suspense, amazing fights and everything came full circle. I loved Akane's growth, she is such a strong female character and she deserves way more recognition. Kougami is Ko and that's what I love about him. Now, the best for last...

My Ginoza was absolutely perfect and his long hair had me feeling all the things. All. Of. Them.

Psycho Pass S1 has been really good!

I was averse to it at first because I hated the way they classified people but I guess that’s the point lol.

I think it’s realistic to a degree in how society could try to ensure “happiness”.

Kogami.

Gynoza was most irritating to me because he didn’t seem to really learn that the system isn’t all knowing until it was too late

Makishima was a good villain.

The main girl got fleshed out a little late to me but I liked her too

Sitting here working thinking about Psycho Pass trying to hold on to the last thread of sanity I have left on this Monday and a thought occurred to me. Why do I love Akane from Psycho Pass so much and here is my complex answer.

Bear with me while I try to make this make sense.

She is like a regular woman and yet she has managed to pull one of the hottest men around her and have him absolutely smitten over her. She isn't the over the top anime woman (Don't get me wrong I love them too) she is sweet, cute, powerful but she isn't the big boobed painfully hot anime women I am jealous of, she is more like, well, me.

She cared about Kogami, she treated him like a human and not a hunting dog and he fell for her not just her looks but who she was. Yes, it's an anime but let's be real usually it's the super hot, scantily clad female the men are drooling over and falling for.

In my fucked up brain these hot guys don't go for regular women and maybe I am just cynical, maybe I have picked too many of the wrong guys but this little relationship with Akane/Kogami has given me the feels and I am living for it.
