If you were a glee character you’d be the warbler that was like 10 years old #fightbecky2021
You know what? That's okay.
Because at least I'm not the New Directioner that was like 10 years old. Because that's who you are.
(yes I'm talking about Myron)

Esp! I'm sending glee related asks (and I can send you one too : ) ) But I thought I'd ask, SLPA-to-SLP, what was the most niche or relatively unknown communication or speech disorder you learned about?
I think cluttering is pretty niche, even if it isn’t extraordinarily rare (1-2% in the school-age population).  While nearly everyone has heard of stuttering, cluttering is quite unknown. Not to someone in our field, of course, but I think very few people outside the speech world have heard of it. I’ve never personally worked with someone diagnosed with cluttering but I did have one kid I saw early in my training that in retrospect I think may have had it. While stuttering is characterized by “less typical” disfluencies such as prolongations, blocks, and sound/syllable/word repetitions, cluttering is characterized by rapid rate of speech and omission of syllables. For example, someone with cluttering might say “I wanwatevision” rather than “I want to watch television.”
Most of the truly rare things I’ve encountered have been genetic or neurological conditions that affect communication but are not themselves communication disorders. I had a student with tuberous sclerosis which is a rare genetic disorder present in .01% of the population which causes benign tumors to form all over the body, which leads to a wide range of difficulties. My former student has tumors growing in his brain so he had significant learning and language challenges.

Author Spotlights: Kurtdeservesbetter Day 1
Tumblr media
Author: @kurtdeservesbetter
How did you get into Glee and Glee fandom?
Watched it while it aired; already knew fandoms existed through livejournal and fanfic.net. Just dive headfirst back in 2010
In general, what drew you into writing (and/or creating)?
Reading fanfiction in general. I had already written fanfiction in other fandoms (namely Harry Potter) and since I liked glee so much, and read glee fanfiction so much, I just started writing my own.
What was it about Glee that made you decide to write fanfic for it?
I hated certain plot lines and how they changed things, or simply didn’t like an episode, so I decided to write my own versions.
Have you been a part of other fandoms before? Have you written fanfiction pre-glee?
Yes! Harry Potter was a big one. I also enjoyed X-Men (the Patrick Stewart Originals) and some shows here and there.
Is there a trope you’ve yet to try your hand at, but really want to?
I definitely want to get more into series writing. I have a universe planned out in my notes, with lots of details, plot ideas, lessons, everything, about Season 3. It’s where all of the OGs (plus Sam and Blaine) are all seniors. I’ve talked about it on my blog before. My current fic, I’m Falling Apart, But Only On The Inside, is one of the fics in that universe but it’s more of an AU on the episode “On My Way”.
Is there a trope you wouldn’t touch with a ten foot pole?
There’s lots. Too many to name.
How many fic ideas are you nurturing right now? Care to share one of them?
20 and they aren’t consistent. I do have another Kurt-centered fanfic that’s a bit wild. It involves Cody (yes, Sexy Bi Santa). It’s a bit dark (with a happier ending) and it takes place in S2.
***
Check out Kurtdeservesbetter’s Fics
I'm Falling Apart, But Only On The Inside - Fueled by Dave’s suicide attempt, Kurt finds himself in an alleyway, pulling some neanderthal off of a boy. In the end, he realizes what he’s done may have been completely stupid (he was never a fighter) but Kurt doesn’t regret one bit of it. Until the newest duets competition starts bringing him bad memories, and he begins reexperiencing the worst things to happen to him.
The Great Milk Thief of the Hummel-Hudson and Evans Home -  Sam, Kurt and Finn all disagree on who keeps using up all the milk.
Teef, Buns and Me! (According to Kurt) -  Kurt gets his wisdom teeth taken out. Sam and Finn are along for the ride. So are everyone else.

10 Years of Klaine: Tumblr Community Project
Hello! I know that despite the fact that Glee ended six years ago, there are still so many of us left that love and appreciate the beautiful love story that is Klaine. So I thought - in honor of the ten-year anniversary of our boys getting together, I would reach out to many of you that are still here to find out why exactly you still love this ship so much!
I have compiled a list of favorite scenes from over one hundred of you and was delighted to read the reasons why each of those scenes appealed to each of you as a shipper.
Happy reading! Hope you enjoy it :)
First Meeting - 2x06, “Never Been Kissed”
Tumblr media
It’s so hard to just pick just one, but i think i’m just going to have to go with their first meeting.
Kurt stopping Blaine on the staircase is such a defining moment in their lives. What if Kurt hadn’t stopped him? What if he stopped someone else? What if he didn’t go to Dalton that day? They probably would’ve met regardless at competitions, but the story would have been a very different one.
Blaine grabs Kurt’s hand and Kurt is totally caught off guard because it’s such a contrast to the way boys treat him at McKinley. It takes me back to Burt’s line from 2x04: “Until you find somebody as open and as brave as you, you’re just gonna have to get used to going it alone.” And there is Blaine, just openly holding his hand. And Kurt isn’t alone anymore.
There’s the /iconic/ slow motion running with the piano theme playing. Their hands were meant to hold each other, and even if they are holding right hands and it does look a little ridiculous, it’s still such a gorgeous moment.
And then of course the Warblers singing Teenage Dream and Blaine basically serenading Kurt (the first of many serenades). And the look on Kurt’s face. There’s so much meta written around the lyrics in Teenage Dream so i’m not going to go into detail on that (and i’m also kinda rushing to get this posted), but it fits them so well.
In conclusion, i think i love this scene so much because its where it all begins. It’s the first chapter in their love story.
- @blainebutt
I will have to go with their very first meeting. There are so many amazing moments, but I still get happy chills when I remember their meeting. Kurt could have asked the next person, and their love story would never happened.
- @klaine-is-eternity
I’m a purest. While I have loved a lot of Klaine scenes throughout the series, this first one (including the song) will forever be my favourite. It introduced me to Blaine, it was the first time in a LONG while that Kurt smiled, and it gives me just the happiest of sighs every time I watch it.
- @darriness
Baby It’s Cold Outside - 2x10, “A Very Glee Christmas”
Tumblr media
I chose BICO for two reasons. One, it was cute and flirty and someone was flirting back with Kurt, finally. And two because this was the moment I was certain they would become a couple and not end up as just a mentor/mentee friend relationship.
- @lucy8675309
Blackbird - 2x16, “Original Song”
Tumblr media
I thought a lot, and chose Blackbird scene. Coz it was a fateful moment for Blaine💘
- @na-page
First Kiss - 2x16, “Original Song”
Tumblr media
Blaine just laying it all out. It’s both complex and simple, he’s not just  saying “I really like you, Kurt” He’s talking about his feelings and being so open.
The kiss. Its passionate, but not fan-service. It makes me just punch the air and say “Finally!”.
The way their conversation before Blaine reveals his emotions. It’s cute, it’s a conversation between two best friends who are just about to be something more in a few moments.
Kurt’s little “I thought we were.”
It’s finally finally finally someone just plain on telling Kurt their feelings for him, with Kurt just taking it all in.
The little gasp Kurt does when Blaine grabs his hand.
Kurt’s amazed gaze and deep inhale/exhale after the first kiss ends.
Blaine being bold and going “It’s you” In more words.
JUST THE PASSION OKAY
- @kurtdeservesbetter
I love their first kiss so much I think it's such a groundbreaking scene in teen drama in general and also really helped a lot of people around the globe but also so important to them as characters especially for Kurt and I just really love it
- @kuinntanass
I can basically quote the scene from memory and it’s so sweet. I love how excited Kurt gets when Blaine confirms his feelings and his little “I thought we were” after their first kiss.
- @gleeincorrectquotes
I know many are looking for the slightly less obvious but if truth be told, there is literally one moment that stole my heart and sucked me right into the fandom...there is a moment.
- @gleekto
My favorite scene was their first kiss in the Original Song episode. At the time I wasn’t in fandom so had no idea that it was happening. It was wonderful that Blaine finally realized what we already knew.
- @hkvoyage
I think I'm going to have to go with this...
They're both so vulnerable and open, Blaine's speech is so well delivered and it was the beginning of so much to come. I remember when it aired just loving it so much.
- @imakeitrealinmymind
I think my favorite scene is their first kiss. Out of all of the scenes on the show I think it’s honestly the most impactful [to me]. Something about it just spiritually moves me. It definitely had a big impact on my life and American culture. It was definitely not the first gay kiss on television, but it was the one of the first ones that I really witnessed and could I could see that it was purely love. I always find myself rooting for Kurt because everything in his life is so relatable and heartbreaking, and this scene is just pure joy for him and it makes me feel good. I also have a bit of a strong connection to it because Glee was actually what worked up the courage for my girlfriend to ask me out. As a lesbian it’s so encouraging to see such a positive, young, queer couple on television. And of course their first kiss is just really sweet!
- @blackvvbird
I guess I'll go with their first kiss then. It felt like such a huge thing back then, to see two boys kissing on screen, and it meant so much to me. Blaine's speech is still one of my favorites from the show, and Kurt's face when he realized what was happening... oh, that poor boy had suffered for too long and he needed something beautiful to happen to him. It was such a game-changing scene for me. And it didn't hurt that it aired on my birthday - it's felt like a gift to share that day with them since. Haha.
- @heartsmadeofbooks
it’s SO difficult to pick just one but i’m gonna go classic and say their first kiss 🥺
everything about that scene is just magical. i could (and have) watched it over and over again just to focus on a different little thing each time. the way they’re both nervous and giddy and shy but then go *all in* on the kiss, kurt’s hand on the table, blaine’s blush, the music, the SECOND kiss!!! it’s a perfect culmination of all the build-up between them over the season. plus, it's honestly a piece of television history.
- @crayonstoperfume
Mi favorite scene is the first kiss from season 2 episode 16. Starting when Blaine finds Kurt decorating the bird’s coffin and looks at him with SO much love and omg the speech and the delivery on the line “oh, there you are, I’ve been looking for you forever” is so goddamn sweet and the first kiss is hands down the best kiss of their entire relationship. And idk the tension and acting in the scene are sooo good, like you kinda know it’s coming because the chemistry between them id insane but still every time i watch it I scream and die
- @roundfacella
Somewhere Only We Know - 2x18, “Born This Way”
Tumblr media
i’d have to say the scene in born this way when kurt comes back and blaine sings somewhere only we know. i can’t watch that scene without getting emotional because there’s something so bittersweet about it. kurt was ready to come back to mckinley, and i think it was the best thing for him, but there’s something so painful about knowing they’ve officially burst their happy dalton bubble and things are about to get rocky from there on out.
i love how kurt left mckinley so alone and isolated (obviously, he had nd, but things had gone from bad to worse and he wasn’t safe), to come back with the support of this huge choir of boys (including his boyfriend) who are singing to him and expressing how much they love him and are going to miss him. it felt stronger and it represented a lot of where kurt seemed to be at the time.
and blaine looked so sad the entire time, like he hated to lose kurt like that but knew it was the best thing for him. i still get emotional about realizing he was mouthing ‘thank you’ at the end, because i think for the first time we see that kurt coming into his life really helped blaine too.
we also get “i’m never saying goodbye to you” which is one of my favorite kurt lines to blaine. i could go into a whole analysis of how much i love that as something kurt is so sure of and strong with, and something blaine desperately needs to hear.
it sets them up for all of the real struggles they go through through the end of the show (which i do like, because it makes them feel less like a fairytale and more like an actual relationship), and solidifies one of the things i love most about these boys, which is how much they love and care for each other.
- @theghostofashton
Blaine Asks Kurt to Dance - 2x20, “Prom Queen”
Tumblr media
I absolutely love the prom Queen scene where Blaine asks him to dance. Well my heart melts with the scene in the hall where Kurt says, they can’t touch us. And how Blaine had told him earlier about being beaten up at school dance. So it’s like their solidarity together, to stand up and face the bullies and homophobes. And the way Blaine is obviously a little scared himself, but wants to do this to support Kurt. Then when Kurt is left alone on the dance floor , my heart panicked for him, then his lovely boyfriend stepped up to support him, and he relaxes in his arms. They’re just both so lovely here.
- @1908jmd
I recently rewatched prom queen so the scene where they're just dancing and having fun makes my heart melt 🥺
So I really love that scene because they're so loose and relaxed and they're just having fun. Like, blaine had his past trauma with dances, and Kurt had just been crowned prom queen. They were both scared, but by the end, they were having fun together and enjoying being with each other. I think I just really love the scene because you can see how happy they are with each other, and even with everything that happened before at the dance, they were still brave and having fun.
- @oohbabycupcakes
I like in prom queen with Kurt saying "they can't touch us or what we have" and then later, Blaine stepping in for dance.
Reason is it shows how willing they are to be brave for each other even if it is difficult to be brave for oneself.
- @make-it-klaine
First of all, I really love young!klaine. It just seems so perfectly pure, before all the baggage of being older started weighing on their lives and their relationship. That timeframe was just so pure, unadulterated first love.  But prom in particular gets me because them getting up and slow dancing in front of a school who’s majority population just did something incredibly homophobic is just so brave and goes to show how far they’ll go to make each other safe and comfortable. Like holy shit they just love and care about each other so much that the consequences of slow dancing in front of the school doesn’t matter. Also klaines relationship until then was so built on kurt needing Blaine and Blaine being the strong one for him, but during this scene the tables turned. It was kurt showing and encouraging Blaine to be brave. Also Blaine literally coming to save the day as kurt’s prince is adorable.
- @courageousdreamers
It’s kind of hard to pick just one favourite, but I think I’m going to go with the scene at the prom where Kurt has just been crowned prom queen and Karofsky refuses to dance with him, and then Blaine asks Kurt to dance, even though he’s terrified, given the Sadie Hawkins bashing. I admire their courage so much, both of them. It’s a wonderful scene.
- @lilyvandersteen
Love this scene because even though Blaine was scared for what happened to him at a former dance, he wanted to be there for Kurt. Both brave boys.
- @daisylovesblaine
If I have to choose only one scene right now, then I think it’s the junior prom scene: Kurt is left in the center of the dance floor after being humiliated and voted prom queen, and Blaine, overcoming his own fears and insecurities, steps up to dance with him. I think this scene perfectly embodies the basis on which they built their relationship, showing their love by supporting and encouraging each other in order to grow together.
- @quizasvivamos
I don’t have a big explanation for this but this moment was so beautiful. They tried to ruin Kurt’s night but that just made him stronger, he was a king dealing with that shit. Blaine was so supportive and he just wanted Kurt to have the prom night he deserved. Kurt was so happy to have the night of his dreams and that makes me happy too. They have a lot of great moments but, for me, this one represents the beginning of a great and supportive relationship. We can see how much they love each other.
- @brittelizzabeth
My favorite Klaine scene is this one right here.
Kurt just stood up to the whole school. He's let them know that they can't take him down. He is not a joke and will rise above their hate and ignorance. He probably thinks he's doing it alone again but he's not really alone anymore is he because Blaine is right there. He's right by his side. It's like Burt said in an earlier episode of season 2. Kurt needed to find someone as open and brave as he was and he finally did. These two are strong individually but together they are unbreakable. The fact that Blaine sets aside his fear to stand up and face a whole school of bullies just proved to me that they were meant to be. That no matter what they faced, they would come through it together.
There are so many great Klaine scenes but this one is iconic and it's what made me truly believe that Klaine was endgame.
- @imdone29
First ‘I Love You’ - 2x22, “New York”
Tumblr media
the first i love you in the season 2 finale!! idek totally know why it just melts my heart?? i think because it kind of solidified in my mind that this was going to be a serious relationship and blaine wasn't going to be a character who just disappeared after one season
- @breakingbowties
uh probably the first time they say i love you. i think i love this scene so much bc outside of the words “i love you” the visual cues in the scene just indicate how much love they have for each other, like blaine’s eyes and his mouth just show he’s completely smitten, and the position of his arms and how he’s sitting show how content he is to be there with kurt. and i think the breathlessness kurt has just emphasizes the tenderness and excitement of firsts.
- @blaine-andersxn
I’d like to talk about my favourite klaine scene or scenes as there is not only one but many lovely scenes that are my favourites. But out of all of them the one I like the most is the 'First I Love You' It is so simple no grand gesture or anything they're just simply having a conversation and Kurt is talking about his NY experience and Blaine is listening to him attentively and suddenly he say those three little words and kurt says them back just as easily.
- @shoffe91
Kurt Asks Blaine to Transfer - 3x01, “The Purple Piano Project”
Tumblr media
It’s gotta be in the Lima Bean, when Kurt is asking Blaine to make a decision regarding transferring schools. For me, we really see the best of their relationship here. The casual “there you sit cute as ever” comment from Kurt, teasing “I have to transfer because you’re afraid we’re going to beat you at sectionals”, and who could forget the FLIRTING from baby penguin himself “I know what it does to you when I win.”
To me, it’s so obviously Klaine. This is how all their conversations must be when they’re together. They’re so comfortable with one another. To tease and flirt and a dash of some flattery.
- @slipping-through-my-fingertips
i have a particular affinity for the Lima Bean scenes. My favourite is the one where Kurt is trying to get Blaine to transfer to McKinley because that is just Kurt&Blaine at the core, being best friends and young lovers, teasing and bantering, figuring out relationships together.
I mean...just LOOK at their faces, they're just so happy and smitten and fucking adorable.
There is a clear distinction between Early!Klaine and Adult!Klaine in my mind and this coffee shop scene is the embodiment of Early!Klaine at their best to me.
- @klainelivin
The coffee shop scene in 3x01 !!! 🥺💕 It’s so cute and it’s just them being sweet boyfriends and flirty.
- @klainedrops-on-roses
Blaine Transfers To McKinley - 3x01, “The Purple Piano Project”
Tumblr media
this right here!! one of my favorite moments on the entire show, so definitely my favorite klaine scene!! blaine just is so open and vulnerable and kurt is just so happyyyyyyyy
and then the lead into its not unusual i mean come onnnnnn
KURT IS SO HAPPY!!!!!! BLAINES JUST SHOWING OFF HOW MUCH HE LOVES HIS BOYFRIEND!!!!! its so cute i love it
- @newrachels
I do have a soft spot for the transfer scene in 3x01. I mean, it's quite interesting, since the whole transfer thing is one of the 3 big Klaine storylines I'd change (pls blaine why didnt u stay @ dalton), but it was actually the scene that got me into the Glee/Klaine fandom and that made me sign up for Tumblr (and which inevitability led to me creating onlyklainescenes). And storyline feelings aside, I just love the vibes. They're chill and happy and cute and in LOVE!
- @justasmallbloginabigklainefandom
Kurt Gives Blaine Flowers - 3x03, “Asian F”
Tumblr media
The first scene I thought of is in Asian F when Kurt gives Blaine flowers for getting the role of tony and he says: You always zig, when I think you‘re about to zag and I just love that about you.
Look at them!! They’re so cute 🥰 I hate that they didn’t kiss because of damn McKinley bullies but it’s still a really heartwarming moment :)
- @bolintheturtleduck
Talk in Blaine’s Bedroom - 3x05, “The First Time”
Tumblr media
Blaine is dancing all goofy and Kurt is on Blaine's bed so is clearly relaxed in his space and it's just a scene where you can see how comfortable they are with each other when they're alone. And "you're the most interesting kid in all of Ohio" like Blaine what era are you from?
They have a proper conversation about sex (kinda because Kurt is obvs a little skittish but I'm glad he's the one that bought it up and it's a long way from throwing Blaine out of his room when they were making "sexy faces") and we get the iconic "that's why they invented masturbation" line. And I love how Kurt's comfort is Blaine's number one priority and they are able to have healthy communication about stuff.
And of course "because of the layers" which is a just this lovely teasing, flirty moment and the lil mwah kiss. It's so sweet and wholesome.
- @coffeeorderwrites
I know it’s not an “epic” scene, like one of their profound conversations or arguments, or a bg romantic moment. I like it because it’s just a sweet, casual date night, goofing around in Blaine’s room, and it’s one that always stands out to me that I come back to.
- @honeysucklepink
my justification is the immaculate vibes. Really I just like this as we see that they’re more settled into their relationship, the conversation they had and also the ‘layers’ bit
- @von-frappe
All that said I think my favorite scene is this one from 3x05. This scene gave us iconic lines we'll remember forever. That's why they invented masturbation. Because of the layers. And the kiss!!
But this scene also showed us them actually talking about their relationship, and attempting to talk about sex as a couple, and that they have done so before as well. I don't recall many couples on Glee doing either of those, but I could be wrong and biased.
- @katimanki2
I prefer the sweet moments of them just hanging out and actually enjoying each others company, like the I love you scene, and when the “you and I are competitors” one. But my favourite is “because of the layers” it’s got everything! A sweet kiss, them just chilling, saying weird shit, it’s great
- @trent-warbler
Auditorium Scene - 3x05, “The First Time”
Tumblr media
even though i’m such a sucker for season 2 klaine, my favorite klaine scene probably the talk that they have at the end of the first time. just the quotes from the scene... “you take my breath away” and “just like the song”... i love it so much because it’s just so damn sweet :) even though i don’t particularly like season 3, i just love that scene so muchhh
- @lgbtblaintana
So I love the scene from The First Time when Klaine talked to each other on the stage after WSS because even though they had their first big fight you can tell they just wanted to make up and for the arguments to be over with. The way they could communicate with each other so well is very meaningful. I also really love how Kurt said he was so proud to be with Blaine and Blaine simply replied with “I hope so. I want you to be” - it showed that even though they were fighting they were still supporting each other through everything.
- @blaineydays1
i think it would be the “you take my breath away” scene... the one where klaine had a talk about what happened in the car while blaine was drunk... it really showed how flawed their relationship is from the start even though some of us see them as this perfect couple when they are not...
- @really-gay-anon
Even though I hate the circumstances surrounding it, I love the auditorium scene after the West Side Story performance. It’s super sweet and Chris and Darren’s acting is spot on as well.
First of all it's nice to see k&b having good communication with no unnecessary drama (looking at you season 5). Even after the whole scandals/sebastian drama they were able to just talk it out. I also love that even though they had been fighting they were still so supportive of each other!!
Kurt could've been salty about Blaine getting Tony, or Blaine could've been snotty about Kurt just having a minor role, but one of the first things Blaine does is compliment Kurt's performance. And then of course you have Kurt saying he's proud to be with Blaine and Blaine's voice breaking when he says I want you to be 🥺 and lastly I think it really highlights their individual personalities well.
Blaine is there going over the move he missed instead of going out because he feels like he has to be perfect (and make kurt proud) but then kurt is there to assure him he did a great job. and then even though kurt was given a minor role he still gave it his all and blaine was still there cheering him on. i think it's a really good portrayal of their dynamic. and then at the end of it all they chose to still keep trusting each other (foreshadowing for the bird talk hahaha) and take this next step in their relationship. so overall i just think it's a really sweet scene that really captures the best parts of their relationship :)
- @anderhummel
So many good things about this scene. Kurt’s cheekbones. Blaine’s eyes. The outfits.
- @darrenismydarcy
This is really hard to choose, even though I saw lots of other people’s answers (which were awesome), but my first gut reaction is the auditorium scene from ‘The First Time’ -- mostly because it was an early example of them talking through their misunderstandings, admitting fault and apologizing, willingness to be vulnerable with each other, and their mutual respect and love. The break in Blaine’s voice when he says he wants Kurt to be proud of him is one of my favorite little illuminating moments in his character development.
Plus, I mean -- the look on Kurt’s face.
- @razorsharpquill
honestly it varies from moment to moment but since I'm in the middle of rewatching S3 I'd say the auditorium scene because it's so soft and tender and vulnerable and they both make the effort to make up, because of the kiss and the forehead touch, Blaine's choked up voice when he mentions the afterparty and the way Kurt says he wants to go to Blaine's house and Blaine's reaction to that. I just love everything about it 😊
- @jedthesecretdreamer
Oooh, it’s really tough, because there are so many that I love (special shout-out to season 5), but for me it always comes back to this one...
The auditorium scene - 3.05.
Because:
* they both look absolutely stunningly beautiful.
* it’s equal parts romantic and sexy.
* they are so in love, so connected here.
* they are both on exactly the same page.
* Blaine takes Kurt’s breath away - and when Kurt says it, and puts his hands on his shoulders, it takes MY breath away.
* Just all-around Klaine perfection really :)
- @gleescape
I gotta go with the Auditorium one, then. Elaborating on it just produces a lot of 'omg they're so beautiful..I can't.. all the feels.. 😍😍😍... Blaine's expression 😭... the little 'Okay'.. the working through their fight... the kiss.. noise, soooo 🙃😌 Hope that works.. 🙂
- @mmmerlenoir
The Box Scene - Cut From 3x09, “Extraordinary Merry Christmas”
Tumblr media
My first instinct says “the box scene” because it’s so fucking romantic and they are so happy and in love and grateful for each other and I- *swoon*! I am also just a sucker for all things christmas and the whole feeling of love and warmth it brings. It makes people kind and loving and express that just a little bit more. Also the moments when they are moving forward in their relationship make me so so happy. I just want them to be in love and happy and comfortable and HAPPY! And yes please compliment each other and make the other feel loved. Shit is so pure and romantic and important! And it littered makes my stomach flip every time I watch it!
- @justgleekout
even though it was deleted, definitely the promise ring scene because it is really sweet and i love how much thought was put into the ring and just everything about the scene❤️
- @gleeblaineislife
Maybe the deleted scene in which Blaine gives Kurt the ring for Christmas? I think it’s because Kurt is rarely shown any appreciation and despite the front he puts on, his self-esteem is clearly terrible, so watching Blaine do this for him and tell him how much he loves him is really moving.

i like love shack a lot!!! they’re having a lot of fun there and kurt is so excited to see his man again.

their moments in musical numbers, specifically Love Shack, are godtier. so yeah, their little parts in Love Shack is my answer if that's an option. 💖💜💙

Blaine Finds Out About Chandler - 3x17, “Dance With Somebody”
Tumblr media
My favorite klaine scene is when they fought about Chandler in Kurt’s bedroom. Because it was the first time we got to see the vulnerable, insecure side of Blaine. You could really see how Kurt’s text messages with Chandler hurt him. Up until that point, Blaine has always been seen as this confident, self assured guy when Kurt was the one who felt insecure and scared of losing Blaine to Sebastian or even Rachel in the beginning.
It was heartbreaking to see Blaine on the verge of tears as he confronts Kurt about the text messages.

Couples’ Therapy With Emma - 3x17, “Dance With Somebody”
Tumblr media
god this is so hard.....i have so many favs..... but id be lying to myself if i didn’t say it was the scene in 3x17 in miss pillsburys office. the comedic timing of the tan hands and the snapping fingers at wait staff convo??? perfect. ending with the softness of blaine telling kurt how he felt and the whole “love of my life” line??? INCREDIBLE!!!! literally it’s the best scene bc it’s captures them both perfectly as people and it makes me feel all warm n gooey
- @blaineskurt
There are so many wonderful Klaine scenes that it’s hard to point at one and definitively say that it’s my all-time favourite, but one I keep coming back to is the couples counselling scene from 3x17. I love how it manages to go from so funny to so emotional in the space of one line, and how it adds a whole new layer of depth to Kurt and Blaine’s relationship that we didn’t really get to see before then. And the dialogue is incredible- the way that Chris and Darren play off of each other is so great (and Jayma does not get half the credit she deserves for how funny she is in this scene).
- @porcelainandthehobbit
It’s the office scene in Dance with Somebody. Because it’s comedic (tan hands!) and dramatic, and that’s my jam. We get some new characterization for Blaine, which was like porn to me anytime a new side to his personality or a new anxiety was revealed, i was like Mr Burns.
- @black-john-lennon
i think my ~overall fave scene (which i know quite a few other people have said too) is the emma’s office scene in dws because it’s funny and sweet and really well acted by both darren and chris
- @guswaters
It’s Time - 4x01, “The New Rachel”
Tumblr media
I love so many!! Though one of the first to come to mind was right before Blaine sang it’s time.. his smile! And Kurt’s affectionate ‘of course you did’ face. The way Blaine knew he was having a hard time, but was able to not just put a smile on Kurt face, but encourage him. Shows how well they know and love each other through anything.
- @steph-luvs-klaine
Thanksgiving Phone Call - 4x08, “Thanksgiving”
Tumblr media
Well first of all this is the first time they are actually talking after the break up bc for some reason the writers decided a metaphor of throwing away flowers is enough to show the break up while other couples get an actual break up scene. And then we had to settle with a couple of side away glances while other couples had actual conversations (never mind the fact that I think Chris and Darren convey more emotions in those and all the lines other couples had).
I definitely adore the conversation that's going on here. The scene and everything is really brilliant. And also again the parallel of Kurt being on stairs again for important points of their journey. The fact that Kurt reaches out first is an excellent choice and the fact that he is not forgiving Blaine yet. But he can't let go either. Because Blaine is just more than a lover. He is Kurt's best friend and favorite person in the world and in a way his home. He can't never be fully out of his life.
I love how Kurt mentioned he apologized a million times because well it can be used to shut haters up lol. I like how Kurt is emotionally open with how much he misses Blaine. Something he couldn't even admit to himself. Once again he is being completely honest with Blaine which is not an easy thing to do for him especially because he is hurt. And how he jokes to make Blaine laugh just shows how strong their foundation of friendship was.
There's some brilliant acting going on here. The emotions seem genuine. The fact that Kurt is shaking and how they take deep breathes and choke throughout the conversation and Darren's eyes per usual shows it's not an easy conversation but they are willing to do it because it's the first step in healing.
And the I love you. God it feels like a stab that Kurt didn't say it back before the break up and now he is saying it after. It shows they are willing to work for this. They are not over. They have been through so much to simply fall out of love because of stupid mistakes. They will always be in love but they have to figure out how to overcome what life throws at them first.
- @luckycupcake2
I'm a slut for some good angst, and this is definitely that. On top of being angsty, it just feels so real. The emotion is just spot on.
I love love love that Kurt believes that Blaine's apology is sincere but he is also acknowledging that he's not ready to accept it. Just because someone apologizes doesn't mean you're obligated to accept that apology, and I think this scene does a really great job of showing that.
Kurt looks fantastic.
Blaine is just so happy to know that Kurt doesn't hate him.
Not only does Kurt not hate Blaine, Kurt still loves Blaine, and the exchange of I love you's is very bittersweet and I just love it.
- @backslashdelta
Honestly this is such a hard question because I love so many and part of me wants to go with something cute like one of their first or 'You Make Me Feel So Young' (which is very close to the top of the list) but I think I am going to have to go with the scene in 'Thanksgiving' season 4, when Kurt calls Blaine before they perform and they have their first proper conversation to repair their relationship, or at least their friendship.
I know they're not together at this point but this gets me everytime. It's so heartfelt and I feel as though it doesn't always get the credit that it deserves. It's almost as though its the start of the end when things start to get better between them again and that's just so special to me.
So yeah, it has to be that one for me. ❤
- @come-what-klaine
White Christmas - 4x10, “Glee, Actually”
Tumblr media
I wrote an analysis on this scene but I love how much it implies. It also just left me feeling hopeful, like things really were starting to get better. Chris and Darren's acting is as amazing as always, too.
We know Kurt isn’t emotionally vulnerable to others (most of the time). That’s not to say he completely shuts away his emotions, nor to say he’s never cried in front of others. Of course he has! But who’s the one person he let his guard down around, time and time again? Blaine.
Until The Breakup. Until he feels so completely devastated, so vulnerable, and so hurt because this was the one person he could always count on. It hurt so much because it was Blaine.
It’s enough to make him shut himself away, keep his thoughts under lock and key in his mind because the one person he wants to talk to the most, is the one who caused this pain in the first place.
Even after they work to rebuild their friendship, Kurt feels as though he needs to keep his walls up, you can tell.
And yet, he desperately wants to tear them down again because he longs to have Blaine, but he’s so scared of getting hurt again.
Kurt longs for Blaine when he turns away.
Kurt longs for the relationship they lost and for the implicit trust he had in Blaine. He longs for Blaine who Kurt knows would say yes to friendship, dating, and so much more.
And that’s why he hides. He knows that if he lets his guard down, he would be able to have Blaine back, wholly and completely.
And he knows he wouldn’t be able to refuse.
Kurt loves Blaine, who hurt him so terribly that night, who loves him like Kurt’s his whole world. Kurt loves Blaine and it’s that, by far, that scares him the most.

Car Makeout Scene - 4x14, “I Do”
Tumblr media
While I love the romance of their development as much as anyone, my favorite scenes are when they got to do goofy comedy stuff, or when the scenes felt like a real, dorky, relationship. This one is fun, flirty, sexy; Kurt’s relaxed, and Blaine is happy as fuck. And bonus inconvenient boners to cap the scene. What’s not great about it!
- @slayediest
Post-Hookup Hotel Scene - 4x14, “I Do”
Tumblr media
ok so its actually REALLY hard to choose because they're my fav glee couple (if that wasn't clear already lmao) and i think is that one in the motel room? (in 4x14) because even tho i dont like their getting back together arc in s4 i really like that scene because kurt is pretending that he doesnt want blaine back, even tho both kurt and blaine know is bullshit.
- @catsplushellhounds
I would say the scene in the hotel, after Kurt and Blaine have done the deed, Kurt’s buttoning up his shirt, and then turns to Blaine and says, “I’ll see you downstairs.”
Why? Because Kurt has never looked and sounded hotter. He’s gone from clueless baby penguin to full on knows what he wants, how to get it (consensually of course.) Kurt’s all grown up and hot and sexy AF.
And there’s Blaine, very happy and all “I got some. I want some more.”
There’s a lot of Klaine to love and a lot of great scenes, but that was the first one I thought of.

Come What May - 4x15, “Girls And Boys On Film”
Tumblr media
honestly come what may is my favorite, even though it was like a dream sequence or whatever- it just felt so personal to them & especially kurt, and i felt it really set the tone for them getting back together
- @tinasgothphase
I’d have to say Come What May is my favorite (if that counts as a scene). The whole scene/performance is so intimate and also so emotionally vulnerable. Kurt reaching out to Blaine at the end makes me feel so many emotions. He’s letting all of his walls down at the and is just letting Blaine hold him.
AHHHHHHH and when Kurt sings “but I love you” even though that’s supposed to be Christian/Blaines line, that makes me so soft. Like DAMN Kurts pouring his heart out, everything’s okay for him as long as Blaines there.

Lima Bean Scene - 4x21, “Wonder-ful”
Tumblr media
One of my favorite scenes from the whole show is the Lima Bean scene in Wonder-ful. I like the flirty banter, the fact that Blaine knows Kurt and the eye contact at the end makes my heart turn into a puddle. It’s just simple and shows their connection- which at the end of S4 is very important, especially when you know what’s to come.
- @gorgxoxus
i'll go with the 4x21 sugar packet scene?? idk if i can explain very well XD but just how well blaine knows kurt in that moment and the comfort i guess if that makes sense

Hallway Talk - 4x21, “Wonder-ful”
Tumblr media
Oh, gosh! This is my project and I had such a difficult time doing what I asked the other 100+ of y’all to do! I’ll try to do my best...
First off - we’ve got their outfits. Another thing that y’all who follow me should know is that I am OBSESSED with costuming. I love the simplicity of Blaine’s shirt and bag and Kurt’s ripped jeans/open vest/T-shirt combo. Both of them look so relaxed and gorgeous.
Blaine bringing up the word courage again. Callback? Idk, but it’s cute. Also - the way he stutters over his words is very very cute.
Kurt’s little ‘you get kinda cute when you get nervous’ - I LOVE IT WHEN KURT COMPLIMENTS BLAINE OKAY?
Blaine almost asking Kurt out and then nervously stutters again to ask Kurt to stay for Regionals - god he really is cute when he’s nervous. And Kurt! Expecting him to say something else! Awwww.
The absolute fucking adorable way that Kurt bats his eyelashes at Blaine. Look how cute he is!
The fact that Kurt already discussed with Mercedes ahead of time that they wanted to stay to support ‘the team’ - this is Kurt skipping an extra two weeks of his demanding coursework and his internship to support everyone without even questioning it because he is a supportive and amazing person. But - no way in hell did he stay to support the people he didn’t know, I bet y’all he stayed just to support Blaine 🥰
Blaine’s reaction to Kurt’s yes is so freaking cute. He loves him so much!!
Kurt’s ‘you had to know I would’ve said yes!’ - Foreshadowing?
The way that Kurt links his arm through Blaine’s <3
Finally, if you’ve spent any time at all on my blog, you’ll have probably noticed that my queue tag is a quote from this scene. I do believe that ‘with you in it, a wonderful life’ is quite possibly the most romantic thing Blaine Devon Anderson has ever said.
This scene has everything I love most about Klaine - flirtyness, both of them looking fantastic, amazing chemistry, Kurt showing his love for Blaine, Blaine showing his love for Kurt, an emphasis on friendship - it’s perfect.

Got To Get You Into My Life - 5x01, “Love, Love, Love”
Tumblr media
Gotta Get you Into My Life- It is such a fun take on a great song, the marching band, the agreement to try again, Kurt telling Blaine to sit down and let him do the singing, the amazing kiss at the end... Everything I love and nothing I don’t.
- @tchrgleek
The Proposal - 5x01, “Love, Love, Love”
Tumblr media
It’s really well done. All the callbacks are fun. There was a lot of effort out into it, and the actual proposal is really sweet and emotional.
- @personalgarbagepile
It’s the 5x01 proposal scene. There are two things that I love about that scene. The first one is the part where Burt drove Kurt to Dalton, and he was like, dad you can stop it, I know you’re driving me to my surprise proposal. And Kurt seemed to be confused about whether he was ready to marry Blaine yet. I think he already knew what his answer is, I think deep down, he knew he wanted to be with Blaine but he was scared that since they are both so young, marriage wouldn’t work out for them and he would lose Blaine, someone that made him feel safe and loved. He was trying to rationalise and finding a way out but hearing Burt’s story with his mom, he realised that he shouldn’t waste any more time and he should do what he felt right.
The second one obviously the proposal itself, more specifically Blaine’s speech. RIB managed to write such a heartfelt speech which holds a special meaning that only makes sense for Klaine.
“It knew that our hands were meant to hold each other, fearlessly and forever. Which is why it’s never really felt like I’ve been getting to know you. It’s always felt like I was remembering you from something. As if every lifetime you and I have lived, we’ve chosen to come back and find each other and fall in love all over again, over and over for all eternity. And I just feel so lucky that I found you so soon in this lifetime because all I want to do, all I’ve ever wanted to do, is spend my life loving you.”
The part “It’s always felt like I was remembering you from something. As if every lifetime you and I have lived, we’ve chosen to come back and find each other and fall in love all over again, over and over for all eternity” sounds a lot like the premise of the fandom famous fic The Sidhe. I don’t know if this is true, but I might’ve read somewhere long time ago that the fic inspired Ryan to write this proposal speech. I have no way to prove it but it’d be really amazing if that is true.
That is what I love most about Klaine. The idea that regardless of time and space, there will always be a Kurt and Blaine finding each other and falling in love over and over again for all eternity, really moves me. Because not only it’s the most romantic connotation ever imo, it also proves that even when Kurt and Blaine could find someone else that they love, but they are still meant to be and they would still be together in the end, because they are Kurt and Blaine. I know that the idea of soulmate aka there is only one person that is destined for you is not realistic in the real world, but I’d still like to believe Kurt and Blaine are soulmates. They are the embodiment of true love and soulmates for me. And that is why I chose the proposal scene for my ultimate favourite Klaine scene :)
- @klainecuddle
Man I have so many favorites. Thanks for asking. If I have to choose, it’s Klaine’s engagement at Dalton. Kurt had his friends and his dad there and Blaine just made it very special with different groups to sing to him, the Glee Club and asked Rachel, Mercedes, et all to be there. It’s such a lovely scene and I really loved it.
- @theredandwhitequeen
My favorite Klaine scene is definitely the proposal from 5x1. It has inspired a entire series of fics that I am writing with @jayhawk-writes. The scene confirms for me what the boys display through the entire rest of the show: that they are soulmates, and there is something bigger at work with them than just them finding one another by accident.
- @teddyshoney
I’m probably overthinking this, so I’m just going to commit and pick the scene that filled me with joy and left me walking on air for the next few days: their engagement.  The entire scene from start to finish was just a gloriously happy musical extravaganza (a perfect example of glee doing what it does best) culminating with Kurt being led to the very step where he first met Blaine.
And Blaine pours his entire heart, soul, and being into the most romantic of proposal speeches you will ever hear.  His eyes shine with endless love and sincere devotion and he means every single word he says.
“All I want to do, all I’ve ever wanted to do is spend my life loving you.”  Excuse me, brb, just swooning right off my couch here.  I’ll be right with you, just talk amongst yourselves for a moment.
I mean really? How do you top this?
- @klaineownsmysoul
If I had to choose I think it would definetly have to be the proposal scene in Love, Love, Love. It’s so magical, Blaine’s speech is so sweet and I LOVE Kurt’s outfit so yeah.   Though it’s a very hard choice because I love a ton of scenes... as one does when you adore Klaine as much as me (as a ton of you do, yay!).

You Make Me Feel So Young - 5x14, “New New York”
Tumblr media
i'd probably choose 'you make me feel so young' because it's nice to see klaine being domestic and doing couple-y things. glee can get dramatic sometimes do it's nice and refreshing to see something "normal" and tame.
- @bkhummel
Mature Adult Conversation - 5x14, “New New York”
Tumblr media
I’m going to throw it to this somewhat awkward scene in New New York.  Because I love about how they’re communicating here.  The whole episode they’re trying, and struggling, to be a real adult couple in NYC.  And this moment the performative nature of that falls away -- and they finally talk to each other, and are open with each other and don’t know what to do about their issues, but they’re so deeply in love with each other, they’re going to try to start doing things to help preserve a relationship that means something so profoundly deep to them.  And it’s one of the more mature conversations we get to see them have.  And, again, it’s a look into Kurt facing his vulnerabilities as he doesn’t know what to do, but at least knows how his heart feels.  So much crunchy meta here!
- @spaceorphan18
I think I'll have to go with their talk about Blaine moving out from the loft, ending with running to hottest make up sex ever. Yeah. I just love that they are vulnerable and actually facing an issue together, and those kisses are great, too.
- @little-escapist
This was hard but I feel like my favourite Klaine scene would be the one towards the end in New New York (S5)? It’s when they decide that Blaine should move out and it’s one of the first few scenes where we actually see them trying to work through their issues. It gives you a glimpse into why, with a bit of therapy, their marriage would work really well after season 6. I also just love Kurt referring to their relationship as something very precious to him.
- @beingalivegcv
Not While I’m Around - 5x15, “Bash”
Tumblr media
As heartbreaking as this is I love the tenderness of it. The moment that Blaine can't sit by and watch anymore and climbs up on the bed and snuggles down into Kurt's neck both to comfort Kurt and himself. The love he has for Kurt is heartwarming and so tender, we really get to see that in this story as short as it was. They have issues, but they love each other fiercely, I love that about Klaine.
- @gleefulpoppet
Honest Conversation - 5x16, “Tested”
Tumblr media
I would say my favorite klaine scene would be their discussion near the end of Tested! I love when they would actually sit and talk about things, and realize that communication was a valuable part of being in a relationship. We love to see it.
- @daisychaindemon
Tested is probably one of my favorite klaine episodes. Just because we've seen Bash, we've seen the tearing Kurt Hummel down (again, ffs) and his build up. Now we get to see the aftermath!
Kurt becomes obsessed with health. He needs to rebuild what he lost during the healing process. And as an independent person who needs to feel in control, what better way then to hyper focus on your body? Make it stronger. Prove to the world that you aren't so easily broken. And so he does, even if at times he takes it to unhealthy amounts (Kurt, please get therapy, you're losing weight too quickly again).
Blaine becomes self-conscious because he just witnessed Kurt getting hurt, and he couldn't do anything to help. He stood on the sidelines as Kurt healed. So he naturally turned to a comfort item which was food - junk food. Which in turn leads to him not feeling he's good enough for Kurt, because Kurt picked himself out of the ashes without Blaine's help and that's inspiring! But now Blaine feels as if Kurt is going to leave him because he couldn't protect like he had during their first meeting or even with the rock slushee.
It explores Blaine's insecurities, which is great because same Blaine, same. And it shows how Kurt is handling his aftercare since being attacked - obsessive behavior. And now they aren't connecting physically, oh no! And Kurt is obviously missing that, and is wanting to rebuild the time they lost during his healing process. But whoops, Blaine is turning to porn for pleasure instead of doing things with Kurt, and Kurt is hurt. Instead of communicating, they lash out physically (LIAB - favorite duet of these two, hot damn) and that leads to SOME DAMN COMMUNICATING! The heavens have opened and the angels rejoice. Because this communication is Blaine venting his feelings, getting how how thought process has eaten him alive, and Kurt is right there to call him out on his bullshit but also ease his overthinking. And then it hitting Kurt that the attack also effected Blaine when he hugs him, and how he should've caught on sooner. My dude.
I love it. I love the angst. The depth. I love the making up. I love how it proves Kurt never has a problem in calling Blaine out if Blaine's being a little shit. I love that we see Blaine's insecurities on a different level. I love that they both are proving that people react to trauma in different ways, sometimes you rebuild or you crumble and yet both still require support. I love the duet and the fencing scene, they both look so good even if they're dumbasses. I love seeing Kurt being fawned over by his classmates. I love that they didn't forget that Kurt has a tattoo. And I love Blaine taking a bite out of that cronut while admiring Kurt in just his underwear working out, because yes me too.
- @chrispaulcolfer
I really enjoy angst—probably an unhealthily so. And Blangst is my favorite angst, apparently. I really enjoy seeing characters at their most venerable, almost shattered. And when he *finally* tells Kurt the reason he's feeling that way...
The way Kurt doesn't completely understand, but tries his best to assure Blaine that there's nothing wrong with him...that he's going to love him no matter what, it's gorgeous
That unconditional love and acceptance. That's why I enjoy it so much.

Chris Colfer’s Scene - 5x19, “Old Dogs, New Tricks”
Tumblr media
This is so hard. If I could only choose one scene it has to be from Old Dogs New Tricks. It's the scene where Kurt is preparing for Peter Pan. It is just such a sweet moment between them. I love seeing Blaine support Kurt. We see Kurt support Blaine a lot and it was so nice seeing it the other way too.
- @bowtiesnmusicals
I’ll go with Kurt and Blaine being supportive of each other in an adorable domestic way. Blaine helping Kurt getting dressed in 5x19 Old Dog, New Tricks (Kurt’s Peter Pan hair-do is a nice addition) Blaine is just putting away the hot-glue gun, he helped glueing on leaves to Kurt’s costume with to hide the harness.
- @klaineship2
The Bird Talk - 5x20, “The Untitled Rachel Berry Project”
Tumblr media
okay, so lets start at the beginning, because i'm not kurt vonnegut or god.
blaine is brooding on the steps and feeding some birds, he clearly feels very bad about lying to kurt about june wanting him to be in the showcase, but doesn't know how to approach kurt.
so when kurt walks up, blaine really does not know what to expect. he thinks that kurt is still very mad at him, so when kurt starts talking about birds and bumble-foot, blaine probably thinks that kurt is avoiding the subject, yet he still looks up, which like i don't have a comment on, just an observation.
and then blaine says that he doesn't want to do the showcase anymore, and kurt barely acknowledges it, and just launches into the whole relationships are like birds learning to fly for the first time thing, and blaine just looks so damn scared, he thinks he's fucked up big time again, and so he apologizes.
kurt wasn't mad going in, though. he's started to understand what happened, we see growth in their relationship from this (one of the many reasons that the season 6 breakup was very clearly just for drama, and not to help the plot along).
and then my favorite part, the trust talk.
through most of it, blaine still looks so scared, and then the camera cuts to kurt's face, and we only see blaine's hair helmet , and when we see his face again, he's leaning in for a hug, and his face just goes from so tense to so relived, and when he speaks again, he is so clearly more relaxed than he has been in a while.
(oh, and the trust is a choice, and i'm choosing to trust you thing, i love it)
i guess the thing that appeals to me most about this scene is how the dialogue seems to just weave through itself so well, nothing is predictable, yet it all works so well
- @the-veirdo
One that sticks out is the pigeon scene in 5x20. I love when Kurt comes to the realization that, “trust is a choice....I choose to trust and to love you through everything.” For me thing is the turning point from a high school romance into an adult relationship. Learning how to trust and fall in love with each other over and over again even when it’s difficult. It really speaks to me and my own relationship.
And then of course we learn in the next episode that it’s all come crashing down again, but I guess that’s kind of the point. They’re still works in progress.
- @latetotheklainetrain2020
Elevator Scenes - 6x05, “The Hurt Locker Part 2″
Tumblr media
The scene where they’re stuck in the elevator and playing that game to pass the time. Bc Darren and Chris literally made up that whole little scene and I just love that. As a testament to their onscreen chemistry, and just how well they know their characters, and how much they care about Klaine’s friendship as well as their romantic relationship. S6 is a big ol mess but I do love that scene.
- @angelhummel
The kiss alone is fantastic in all its slo-mo glory. I mean, Sue was technically forcing them to kiss, so it had the potential to be forced and awkward, but what we got was AMAZING—completely natural and so passionate. With the way they initially lean in with just their mouths and then gradually become intertwined, we see them literally falling back into place. And from the vulnerable looks on their faces afterward, there’s absolutely no denying that they are 100% still head over heels for each other.
But on top of that, I absolutely adore all the intimate little moments splashed throughout the episode—the adorable romantic picnic that they set up, the longing looks while watching each other sleep, playing the game and reminiscing. They are so comfortable with one another and I love that we get to see them reconnecting here.
- @sunlightletter
I light up every time they appear on the screen. In many ways I feel like we didn’t get enough Klaine scenes. I guess I’ll go with the elevator scene in The Hurt Locker since I love when they have extended conversations.
- @yadivagirl
i’m gonna go with the scene in the hurt locker pt 2 where they’re playing the lil game with the slips of paper in the elevator. it’s so... soft and natural. they’re not together, they know they’re not (if only bc they have to keep reminding themselves), and yet they fall into each other again so easily. the elevator isolates them from the rest of reality but it’s almost like it brings them back to their reality. like the way blaine looks at kurt? nobody could deny that they are so full of love for each other, even still. it’s like through all the road blocks their souls have never stopped moving toward each other. they just feel so... at home with each other.
but to put it simply, and more superficially, it’s just a rly cute scene. i feel like it gives us a little look into the little domestic moments and tiny conversations that we missed out on (love you little feta !) and it shows the simple unadorned love that lies at the base of their relationship. plus i love the banter (“what a tragedy, you’re in the wrong profession. what are you, a teacher now?”) and i will never get over how happy and in love they both look!
also the fact that kurt guesses parfait before ice cream like anybody else would? love that for him

Kurt Manipulates The Duet Wheel - 6x07, “Transitioning”
Tumblr media
one of my favourite scenes is the scene in Transitioning where Kurt rigs the wheel and moves it from Artie to Blaine’s name - i just really love seeing the rare occasion where Kurt is the one chasing Blaine and showing his feelings and being vulnerable after season 5 where we basically got the opposite. and he’s just so cute and transparent and cheeky it makes me endlessly DIE

Banter & Kiss Outside Rachel’s House - 6x07, “Transitioning”
Tumblr media
THE SCENE OUTSIDE RACHELS HOUSE IN SEASON SIX!!!! THAT SCENE IS JUST *CHEFS KISS* The banter, the familiarity, THE UNEXPECTED KISS!!! It’s legit stripped right from a fanfic scene and I adore it.
- @blurglesmurfklaine
there are too many really great scenes to choose from, but I think I’m going to go with the scene in Season 6 episode 7 when they are talking outside of Rachel’s house after having just performed Somebody Loves You together.
I’ve never really been good at explaining (or even understanding) my reasons for things but I’ll try... I love that scene because it’s a casual but flirty conversation where they reminisce about the past, and I think it really shows how well these characters know each other and how much they care about each other.
- @caramelcoffeeaddict
it’s the angsty vibes that I love, cuz they’re both so clearly in love with each other but aren’t at the stage of being ready to be together. ugh I just love it, 10/10
- @mostlygleethoughts
I’ll say it was the kiss in Season 6, outside of Rachel’s house. It’s my favorite because it just solidified that Blaine was finally (FINALLY!) realizing that he still loves Kurt, and he just couldn’t seem to help but kiss him. And, it’s a flirty scene, too, and I love me some flirty Klaine!!
- @openinguptojoy1
i would pick the scene in s6 transitioning after their duet when they are talking about BICO and blaine kisses kurt and runs away
- @porcelain-nightbird
Reunion Scene - 6x08, “A Wedding”
Tumblr media
The reunion scene in A Wedding. I love the hard realization and the desperation and the way that they cling to each other in relief. Yes, the time doesn’t make sense with the scenes with Walter and it’s a little rushed and a little short (but let’s be real their scenes were always a little too short). But the emotions are just so raw and vulnerable. There’s a reason why I keep coming back to it in my stories.
- @redheadgleek
American Gothic - 6x08, “A Wedding”
Tumblr media
It is very hard to choose one. There are so many iconic moments, soft little moments, heartbreaking moments, and some absolute chef’s kiss comedy.  It has been interesting to see what people choose, and why.
While I absolutely love early Klaine I’m going to pick a small moment from S6 that I have not seen talked about this.
The couple that laughs together...
Look at these adorable nerds!  What we are seeing here is companionship in it’s truest form.  Kurt and Blaine have always loved each other as friends, truly enjoying the little things about the other that make them who they are.  This little moment is a window into the kind of bond they have behind romance, pure friendship.
- @snarkyhag
Locker Scene - 6x13, “Dreams Come True”
Tumblr media
there are so many good scenes but if i can only choose one then i’d go with the one from dreams come true where kurt shows blaine his time capsule locker
i just love it so much. after everything that happened they’re finally together and married and so in love. blaine keeps staring at kurt with his patented i’m so in love with you eyes while kurt is showing him all the things in his locker and it’s so adorable. it makes me feel all the emotions
i love it when blaine says you’re the only one who would do something like this and you can just see how much he loves kurt
and kurt is so happy as well. hes showing blaine all these things that are important to him and he’s reminiscing about everything that happened and now he’s here married to blaine and blaine loves him and kurt loves blaine and they’re happy together. it’s perfect.
- @sugarcarnation
My favourite scene is the locker scene in 6x13. I love how this scene sums up key moments in their relationship including the aforementioned prom king episode, and how it also canonises the infamous box scene. But what I love most of all is how utterly in love Blaine looks just in seeing Kurt do the simplest of things. Just seeing Kurt being simply himself, is enough to make Blaine’s eyes go wide, and for him to then actually cry about it. That’s the true definition of love. When Blaine says, “you’re the only one”, I almost take that as a double meaning to mean that he’s the only one who would do something like this but also the only one for him. It goes back to what I said about Blaine’s doubts about finding true love, but in that moment, we see he certainly has found it, and seeing how happy Kurt makes him is so wholesome. I also love that full-circle element of Kurt struggling for so long with his identity and with people bullying him for who he was, and not only is he now long comfortable in his own self, but he also has a husband who loves him completely for himself and wouldn’t change a thing about him. This scene shows just that. That’s what makes it so poignant for me and seeing them walk off hand in hand happily together, before then transitioning to them still happily married and in love 5 years later is a very meaningful moment, and definitely one of my favourite scenes to watch.
- @chooseyouovereveryone
Daydream Believer - 6x13, “Dreams Come True”
Tumblr media
I think the Daydream Believer scene because Klaine with kids is just so cute, we found out about their future and it's actually good. They are the Broadway power couple I always knew they'd be. They are considered inspirational. Also I just really love that song. And Blaine is totally a daydream believer and Kurt held a high school royalty position regardless if it was done cruely. So it describes them (Ultimately they are both the white knight on his stead throughout their relationship)
- @buckyandsteeb
Mine is when the go to the school and sing daydream believer! I love that it's a glimpse into their future 😍 like future daddy vibes. Also absolutely love that song

Dear Tumblr Klaine community,
It warmed my heart to make this and to fall in love with the ship all over again while reading all of these responses. I discovered scenes I’d never paid much attention to, noticed new details in scenes I already loved, and most of all remembered how much this couple meant to so many people. I hope it did the same for you.
Love, Evelyn.

If Glee did a Taylor Swift Tribute Episode...
Just my opinions, feel free to add on to them. I know I have some fellow gleek swifties following me. I’d love to hear your thoughts. Obviously they have to do some of the hits but I think some people would have some out of the box picks.
*This post assumes all Taylor songs are available to choose from as of May 14th 2021 but focuses on Taylor’s first 6 albums (if you want more glee and Taylor I have fics with that; LOVER and FOLKLORE) and takes liberties with where this episode’s placement is in terms of canon. But since it’s all made up anyway who cares (but Blaine’s involved so I guess season 3 idk).*
Okay, trying to do a full plot here (completely inspired by @kurtdeservesbetter head canon posts. I hope this lives up to her fabulous posts). This will be my version of glee so everyone gets solos and Rachel can’t hog the spotlight. Also, this is about to be super long (both post wise and episode wise).
Let’s open the first episode with
...Ready For It because the New Directions are in their reputation era. Santana does the opening cough centerstage. Everyone in black and/or camo green outfits (can you just see Kurt in a dark green bedazzled snake jacket, Santana in a black leather dress, and Tina digging out some goth clothes for people to borrow?), snakes everywhere, but probably no Karyn (she just wouldn’t fit on the auditorium stage). Santana takes the first verse but we have Blaine step up for verse 2. (I just love their friendship in the Michael tribute, cute little badasses are BACK. Also him singing “Burton to this Taylor” is such a Klaine thing to do).
Everyone is still dressed in their rep outfits but we’re in the choir room now. Mr. Schue is talking about why Taylor had to disappear and clap back with rep, how rough the industry is for women and tries to uplift the ladies in the room and encourage them to not silence their voices (cue snarky comment from Santana about Rachel needing to be silent).
Then, Mr. Schue goes on about how you can only understand how Taylor got to her rep era by studying her earlier music. So we have a performance of Tim McGraw. Simple, front of the choir room performance, maybe Puck does guitar, and sitting on stools.
Everyone is surprised to find out how pumped Sam is for this assignment but he is all over it. “It's about time we did some country in this room.” Cue Sam and Quinn at her locker talking about their ‘date’ last night, Sam’s all cute and teasing and Quinn is not into it. She tells him it was fun but she was wrong, they shouldn’t do this again. In turn, he does a wonderful performance of Bye Bye Baby. He thought it was more but clearly he’s “a part of her past.”
Then, we’re in the empty choir room. Tina and Mike are there. (I love their cutesy duets) They sing Everything Has Changed and it’s utterly adorable. Can’t you hear Mike asking Tina if she’s “good to go” like Ed does? And while we’re on the subject of cute duets and RED, we flash to the courtyard to see Santana and Brittany. They turn Stay Stay Stay into a duet. “I’ve been loving you for quite some time,” “before you I only dated self-indulgent takers who took all their problems out on me,” “no one else is gonna love me when I’m mad, mad, mad,” and “it’s occurring to me that I’d like to hang out with you for my whole life” it’s perfect for them. Adorable ladies kisses are had.
Let’s toss in some boy drama for fun. Idk shit about football but somehow Puck is praised by their coach over Finn, which gets him all pissy, and Puck’s upset and jealous because Finn is back with Quinn now (this is why Quinn shut Sam now earlier, she changed her mind). Can we say duet of Bad Blood? “So if you’re coming my way...just don’t.”
After their dramatics, we have a Brittany solo in the choir room. It’s after school at this point (or whenever glee club is). Brittany does You’ll Always Find You Way Back Home.
When she finishes Mr. Schue tries to explain that it’s a Hannah Montana song. Britt injects that it’s confusing how she’s really Miley Cryus “like how can you be two people at once?”. Before Mr. Schue can continue, Kurt pipes up “you never specified that the songs had to be sung by Taylor Swift, just that they were her songs.” Mercedes adds, “yeah, Mr. Schue, Taylor wrote that song.” Mr. Schue concedes that he has once again been outwitted by Kurtcedes. The friends do their little hand shake thing.
With a sigh, Mr. Schue asks Mike if he’s ready to go and Mike asks to take things to the auditorium for some dancing room. Everyone’s on stage with him and it’s kind of a group number but Mike is the focus. It’s Shake It Off. All inspired by the music video. He’s tried to fit in elsewhere (i.e. football, with the smart kids, etc..) but he’s really himself in glee when he’s dancing.
Part 2 of Taylor Tribute Episodes
We begin with an ALL GIRL NUMBER of A Place In This World. Just because.
Glee is dismissed and we zoom in on Artie. He’s watching Tina with Mike and Brittany with Santana. Both Tina and Britt have broken his heart by this point. So, he’s rolling down the halls singing A Perfectly Good Heart. While Artie’s soloing, we cut to Rachel watching Finn and Quinn chatting. Artie’s song playing over this scene. Rachel is feeling similar to him at the moment.
She’s pretty sure Finn dumped her to be with Quinn again even though Kurt and Blaine told her they saw Quinn and Sam at the movies last night together making out in the back row. Fine, if that’s how he’s going to be, she doesn’t need him anyway. Cue Mr. Perfectly Fine. Uber dramatic solo performance walking around McKinley’s halls watching Finn and Quinn together ending in the auditorium alone. (see what I did there, both broken hearted peeps singing a song with Perfectly in it (this was not at all planned, actually, happy accident))
After some good old heartbreak, we have Kurt and Blaine on screen. Blaine walks into the auditorium to see Kurt sitting on the edge of the stage. “What’s all the fuss?” he asks from the door. Kurt had texted him “EMERGENCY.” The band starts to play and Kurt just starts singing, Enchanted. It’s time to profess their love for each other, just like they sing Perfect together in the car, this duet needs no audience. Blaine catches up and sings while walking towards his boyfriend. It’s very reminiscent of past New Directions competitions where they come in from the back and make their way to the stage. “Wondering if you knew I was enchanted to meet you?” Kurt and Blaine both know the answer to that question now but just a few months ago they were both wondering that exact thing.
They kiss before we cut to Kurt and Blaine walking hand in hand into the choir room where everyone else is already. Mr. Schue is praising the performances thus far and of course asks Rachel if she’s ready to solo (some practice for her completion solo). This causes an uproar from Mercedes and Santana. Another classic argument of how she gets too many solos. Mr. Schue tries to shut them both down but Santana tells Rachel to watch her back, and we get three very different reactions to this.
All three girls storm out.
First, we visit Mercedes alone in the courtyard. This solo is all about being hurt over this great thing in her life (glee) and her being denied happiness within that club. Thus, Cold As You. (mostly to indulge myself because she’d blow us away with this song).
Next, Rachel in the auditorium. A huge bridge on stage (very Speak Now Tour of her), belting out Better Than Revenge. Santana’s dropped the last straw (the humiliation, name calling, Finn at one point and now solos,) it’s too much this time.
And finally, Santana walking around McKinley, showing us flashes of Rachel ‘outshining’ her and the rest of glee and Mr. Schue being unfair, while singing Look What You Made Me Do.
Tina walks out at the same time as Rachel, Mercedes, and Santana but no one seems to put two and two together. She feels just as underutilized as the latter two do. She ends up in an empty classroom and sings The Outside. “Nobody ever lets me in” and “on the outside looking in.”
Once the 3, err 4, divas have left the room, Finn sticks up for Rachel. Quinn, of course, has something to say about this along the lines of “you always defend her.” Finn, intimated by her ‘scary Quinn’ fumbles and blurts “because she’s my girlfriend” WHICH IS NOT TRUE AT THIS POINT. Quinn dumps him on the spot, cuts quickly to Blaine and Kurt sharing some ‘oh my god, can you believe this’ expressions, and vanishes from the room.
By this point, Rachel is long gone from the auditorium but the bridge is still there.
Here’s where we go way off script but imagine, Quinn has decided to just quit boys. They’ve all failed her anyway, she’s better off being alone. She walks up the bridge and thinks to herself “god Rachel’s so dramatic, where did this thing even come from” before it hits her “fuck, I’m as bad as Finn. I want her.” Then, she starts singing Clean to herself in the auditorium, likely tearing up throughout and ending with a good cry. (Because Dianna would DELIVER with Clean.)
While Quinn is having a sexuality crisis, the rest of glee is still happening. They’re discussing upcoming competition and debating solos and songs.
Kurt’s all: “Mr. Schue, if I may” and performs a lovely rendition of Call It What You Want. Those opening lines are too good. “My castle (ie McKinley) crumbled overnight, brought a knife to a gun fight (ie couldn’t fight off Dave Karofsky), “I’m doing better than I ever was ‘cause my baby’s fit like a daydream,” and “at least I did one thing right.” When he’s done, Blaine’s a mess in the back of the choir room, and Mr. Schue says: “not really what we’re looking for but very nice, Kurt” however, Kurt’s too busy sitting beside Blaine teasing him about blushing.
Then, the missing girls return to the room having sung out their emotions. Quinn, having realized her feelings for Rachel, ends up soloing You Belong With Me to the New Directions in the choir room. Odd looks all around, no one knows what’s up with her and why does she keep glancing at Rachel? (Faberry just fit so well I had to add it, don’t know if I’m a shipper or not but it’s here now) (also thanks to @spicygemini for pointing out the obvious “Quinn would have ate YBWY”).
Mr. Schue wants to move the group to the audition to perform their final number of the Taylor Swift tribute well but Tina asks to sing first. He’s surprised but allows it, taking a seat with the rest of the New Directions.
Tina sings Beautiful Ghosts. “Watch from the dark, wait for my life to start” because New Directions is refusing to use her talents AGAIN. She’s singing this to Rachel and the girls who were in the Treble Tones. Because she absolutely SMASHES this number, the glee kids agree she gets solo for their next competition (and they deliver on that promise).
To conclude Part 2 of the Taylor tribute episode, we have a group performance of Long Live. “One day we will be remembered”, “all the years we stood there on the sidelines wishing for right now”, “for a moment a band of thrives in ripped up jeans got to rule the world” ie wining completions, “when they look at the pictures please tell them my name...”

if you don’t mind talking abt our friend puck ! what relationships/friendships would you have liked to see delved into for him? :)
MIST!!! HELLO!!!! I WOULD LOVE TO!!!!!!
oh my god, SO MANY.
first off, puck and santana. once again i am preaching my pucktana childhood besties agenda and once again i am Right. they def have a complicated relationship but thats all the more reason to explore it. we didnt even get one joke from santana about him being so bad at sex he turned her gay :/// someone was SLACKING! personally i think puck would find that hilarious
puck and mercedes: please the way mercedes didnt let him get away with any of his shit and immediately started making him bring her stuff... good for her. i like to think he just keeps doing that and every time he has money and he sees the coffee drinks she likes he gets her one. also remember how he stole a whole dog for her in night of neglect. he thinks shes awesome. she thinks hes entertaining
puck and kurt: crime bros. that is all love u @kurtdeservesbetter
puck and rachel: the stupid idiot and the one who pretends to not be a stupid idiot but is just as much a stupid idiot. the idiot and the enabler. it goes both ways. if rachel needs to do something wild and crazy rest assured puck probably supplied her with the crowbar
puck and artie: study partners partie study partners partie STUDY PARTNERS PARTIE!!!!!!!! fuck that bullshit about puck being dumb in season three hes just a math minded man not geography. and artie needs someone to ramble on about subjects to who will let him talk and occasionally ask questions. perfect.
puck and sam: ok my personal headcanon for puck is that he becomes a songwriter in the future (fuck that military jazz) and i think that sam would help him with the composing a lot just bc he has a different musical background and perspective
puck and tina: EVERYBODY SHUT UP THEYRE BESTIES. he makes dirty jokes and she pretends not to find them funny but inside shes cackling. also they skateboard together
puck and jake: they obviously had no idea what to do with him in season four other than make him the glee clubs weird uncle. but imagine if they did know and they actually built up a good brotherly relationship... had him actually give jake good advice... shown more of their moms hanging out and becoming a real family... giving both jake and puck the families they had always wanted but never got
AND ON THAT NOTE thats the main ones i can think of!!!! thank you SO SO SO MUCH FOR THIS ASK i loved talking about these hehe ur the bestest

Kurt is a famous fashion designer and Blaine is his boyfriend, and also 10 years younger. Blaine is constantly getting hate messages and so has gone as far as deleting twitter and Facebook. They start putting his hate mail in letters and one day Kurt is awoken to soft crying and torch light where Blaine is reading. He reads them too and he spends the night posting several messages to accounts called things like “hate-blaine” and “kurtdeservesbetter” telling them how he just woke to sobbing.
