Sorry if this question has been answered a thousand times! But yes, I do really want to know where T was April 29th!!! Can you give more information on this story?

There are previous posts on it in 2016 timeline, song analysis' for I did something bad, and @tameimpala222's post on Calvin Harris' Ole.

Do you really want to know where I was April 29?

This high infidelity line could be as much to fans as to Calvin. Like Dear Reader, it says to fans how some see Taylor in a narrow idealised way

OK, but what happened?

Set up:

Taylor and Calvin had been on pretty rocky ground. There has been rumours that he had been unfaithful, that Taylor was jealous of Harry and Kendall over Yachtgate, that Calvin was jealous of that jealousy.

Taylor won Album of the Year on 16 February and in Miss Americana said she felt alone and had no one she could call. (21 Minutes)

Harry was in LA at the same time. He wore this blue Hawaii st Laurent shirt on 22nd birthday, also the day of the feeling 22 tweet which went viral and wrote Sweet Creature which is a love song, but also references seeding doubt in a love interests' partners mind.

At this time, Calvin also started writing a diss track (Ole) about a guy (Harry) who ignores his GF (Kendall) for someone else (Taylor) who is a fake girlfriend to the subject (Calvin), the video shades Hendall and Haylor.

28 February - 29 April

Harry and Taylor then started hinting at hooking up, or wanting to. On 28 February Taylor looks stunning and alone at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, Harry tweets Elvis lyrics about not being over an ex and posted a colour photo to instagram (it had been B&W since OOTW came out unless he saw Taylor).

Taylor and Calvin posted about the 1 year anniversary a week later and spent 3 days with backgrid in the Bahamas. Harry went back to London and looked grumpy getting a parking ticket that week. :/

But then it seemed back on 25 March when Taylor and Harry return to LA the same day 👀 and are seen around LA separately.

On the 3rd April Taylor and Calvin are hostile at the iHeartRadio awards, blinds they fought in the pap walk.

The end for Tayvin was at Coachella/Bleachella/TIWYCF when Calvin didn't give Taylor credit for This is What you Came for. A year later there was a blind item that TIWYCF was about who Taylor was having an affair with (in hindsight it’s really Haylor), to me this helps explain why it went so bad over it.

Harry again tweeted Cars lyrics about being with an ex that you love no matter what And then finally, as well known Taylor went to Gigi's birthday party on the 28th, and did not show up for promo for TIWYCF, neither Harry or Taylor are seen on the 29th.

The next Day Harry is still in LA in a walk of shame to a Gym and Calvin goes on Radio to say she isn't working.

Alas it didn't work out for either couple, Tayvis imploded. Harry went to Europe to shoot Dunkirk then record HS1 and Taylor was looking for someone to be with her all the time and publicly move on from the Tayvin disaster. You know the rest.

Later references

What makes this and interesting comment on Taylors fans thinking they know everything is that it wasn't known.... Were it not for Ole and Kiwi's videos that is!

Later in 2016 Calvin released Ole that references outfits Taylor, Kendall and Harry all wore in this period and Calvin posted to instagram wearing Harry's exact shirt from February.

Harry recreated Taylors look from this party in the protagonist of the Kiwi music video, which refers to the Vanity Fair Oscars Party and Calvin "When she's alone, she goes home to a cactus (Uh) In a black dress, she's such an actress"

And finally, for irony and lols:

On 29 April 2017 (the 1 year anniversary of this high infidelity) Harry got papped wearing the same shirt.

In September Capital FM used the photo Calvin's used to troll Harry and Taylor in an article calling him a 'baller'. Harry has a leaked song from this era, Super Pretty with the line "Said you're happier with that big baller that we both knew growing up"

And it still continues in when Harry's friend Roman Kemp presented Calvin with Harry Styles Bathwater at the 2024 Brits.

Joe Alwyn, the Bowery Gastropub & Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk "reshoots"

A Reddit and Toe-Tumber version of this story is:

Joe was in LA for BLLHW reshoots and was with co-star Garrett Hedlund, who's friends with Caleb Followill who is married to Lily Aldridge who was at Gigi's party where we know Taylor was. There is a pub named the Bowery Gastropub on Sunset and Vine so of course Taylor met Joe there because 6 degrees of separation. It somehow makes sense that Tayvin continued and Hiddleswift happened and that she wrote in the lover journal that Toe started dating 3 months before January.

Issues with this story:

This story hinges on a screenshot from an office assistants LinkedIn claiming to have worked freelance on reshoots for the film for 2 months March and April 2016. If you search the words in the screenshot the Linkedin profile does say that. However if you look at profiles for editors, videographers and producers on the film they all ended mid-2015. Perhaps the freelance office assistant was working on a different film, or listed the wrong task.

Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk had no reshoots. They had no budget for them and shot specifically to avoid them. It was also not shot in LA.

Footage for the film had already been debuted on 16 April 2016. They were definitely not still shooting a low budget film 2 weeks later when it was being screened and was released in November

Joe was in London on 20 March 2016. There is no reason to think Joe was in LA.

Joe and Garrett Hedlund did attend the Met Gala - however as a C/B lister Garrett would not have a plus one, more likely he was Lily's plus one!

Caleb Followill, and his brother and bandmate Nathan Followill go way back with Harry - Nathan has a matching tattoo of the other half of Harry's broken heart tattoo! Harry (and Taylor) were at a Calab Followill's 2015 birthday party when they were last seen together. If the Followill connect/ Bowery gastropub is true at all, it was not a no-name friend of a friend who was in London! 😂 It was a BFF who was in LA and flirting with his ex-GF.

This mental gymnastics to fit Joe into a story that three artists have described is a good example of how swifties want to keep Taylor in a defined perfect box, which she wants out of. It reminds me of this quote she gave Rolling Stone in 2014, about the snowboarding accident and OOTW:

"People think they know the whole narrative of my life, I think maybe that line is there to remind people that there are really big things they don’t know about."

Monday 22nd

Tuesday 23rd

Cara Buono(Karen’s acteress) was filming this day, so maybe some of her children are in hospital? Or maybe Ted is dying lol

they were filming second episode there(at least they should, Cara posted a video today were she said that it’ her first day and they were filming ep. 2)

Wednesday 24th

we got a new part of the video from the roof top. it looks like el is crying there. people are saying maybe it isn’t break up, bc Mike is laughing there

one of the new filming locations is some radio tower. and they made social media for it? yet they only posted some quotes from the show

Chapter eight - Good and Bad News

“Ouch!“ It blurted out of you, blood began to emit from the hot spot on your lower shin. “Fuck, why me?“ Hysterically you hoisted the silk of your white Prada dress, desperately trying to avoid the small wound to leak on your designer piece. You didn’t even know how much it was worth.

“Darling! Oh god, are you alright?“ it blurted out of your partner, strong arms snaking around your waist to help you in the black limousine. “Anyone a tissue or something?“

“Tom, please. It’s just a little cut“ you tried to calm your boyfriend who was frantically rummaging in the side compartments of your car desperate to find something to stop the bleeding with. “No, y/n. It’s not okay. We don’t even know how deep it goes“ he murmured, a relieved sigh escaping his face spent from all the smiling, as he finally detected a pack of handkerchiefs. "And it's dirty".

“Oh fuuuuck“ you cursed through gritted teeth, the soft fabric burning like fire on your torn flesh. Maybe the concerned Brit was right and a proper stitch up wouldn’t be that bad. You hated hospitals plus you weren’t even in your home country what didn’t enhance the simmering anxiety level.

“Henry, to the St Thomas’ Hospital please“

“Darling, I’ll get home real quick and get you some comfy clothes, okay?“ Tom hummed as you were brought to the ER to see a doctor. A soft kiss and a small “It’ll be alright, I promise“ later the tall Brit disappeared in the wicked hallway of London’s hospital. You certainly wouldn’t mind some other clothes since the dress was tight as hell even though it wasn't on the first fitting.

Anyway, you still didn’t want to stain it. Even if you had the money to simply replace it, your mother always taught you to not be lavish.

“Alright, Ms Hemsworth. Looks like the cut is quite deep. I would like to do an MRI scan and some blood tests to make sure that there’s no further damage“ the young doctor explained after taking a look at your cut and testing your ankle’s flexibility. It looked good to you but you weren’t a professional at all so it was alright. As long as Tom would return soon with your favorite jogging pants a t-shirt of his…

“Do what’s necessary, doc“ you smiled at her before the woman took a step closer, a blush creeping up on her tired looking cheeks. “I know that's inappropriate but erm… can I get an autograph maybe?“ She stammered, her hand diving in the pocket of her white coat to pull out a pen and a notebook.

“I learned to surf during my last vacation in Portugal and the instructor showed me a video of you and…“

“Of course!“ you chirped, marinating in the newfound comfort. “It’s been a while someone talked to me about surfing“. You began reminiscing about the good old days where a bad tide was your only problem.

Tom was wonderful and nobody had ever made you any happier yet you felt like you were destroying his career instead. To be honest it wasn’t your fault but the media and all those deadly half-truths they mercilessly spread about your persona. It became tiring and even Tom was starting to suffer from your ex and the tattletales of tabloids.

“Your savior is here“ Tom panted, tearing the door open, his athletic body basically hanging on the door handle as he presented you the trousers you wished for.

He ran here? Your heart just melted. “A nurse will get you in two or three minutes“ the doctor noted, weaving past Tom and grinning like a Cheshire Cat from your lovely autograph with, of course, a special dedication.

“Thanks, Loki. You’re a true hero“ you giggled leaning over to indulge in a loving kiss, Tom’s special cologne still lingering on the dress shirt. Those spontaneous lines he peppered in your daily life were something you learned to love. Those innuendos never failed to make you giggle with joy at how deeply Tom was intertwined with the characters he put his whole heart in.

It was more than fascinating and sometimes in the bedroom things got even more special.

The blue joggers felt perfect and the hoodie Tom had brought you kept your quivering figure warm. It wasn’t that cold in London today however, the pouring rain elicited goosebumps on your whole body as soon as you took a peak through the dark curtains. Honestly, you preferred to have water rippling beneath you instead of it falling from the sky and emitting from angry looking grey clouds.

“Ms Hemsworth, please follow me“ a nurse suddenly interrupted the nearly improper make-out session, nerves sizzled in depressed frustration as you had to pull away from those velvet lips you couldn’t get enough of.

“Get yourself something to eat, Tommy“ you began, a few growls of his stomachs had betrayed him earlier. “Please“. Reluctantly, the tall blonde nodded leaving the examination room to head towards the cafeteria.

The MRI was something utterly familiar to you. Surfing could be a cruel sport to do. A bruised spine or squashed ribs weren’t too rare alongside twisted ankles. And since it was only about your leg, the procedure wasn’t straining at all. Luckily, your head was far away from the tight tube so claustrophobia didn’t bother you.

Back in the examination room, a nurse was taping your slightly sorrow calf muscle, causing you to whine a little from time to time. Such an unnecessary bullshit you cursed internally, after today’s gala went by quite uneventful, whereas your definition of uneventful changed to a maximum occurrence of three negative comments or unabashed question.

Three.

But what really boggled your mind was that Tom had to endure most of tonight's sassy criticism.

It made your blood boil while that fake smile had to be flawless for all those nosy cameras. It was tragic and perhaps a note of self-destruction but you felt like you were a stumbling block to your lover's bright career. A breathing obstacle that was slowly but steadily destroying his reputation as Britain's golden boy.

And it hurt. It hurt like hell to be the sweet poison in Tom's morning tea he drank so willingly, so blind for the fucked up truth.

“Ms Hemsworth?“ the lovely doctor's voice echoed across the room. “Good news; the muscle is mostly unharmed and the cut will be fully healed after about two to three weeks” she smiled, watching you sigh with relief.

But then, suddenly, her expression went from 'telling the good news' mode to worrying deeply. Was something wrong with you blood work?

But last time you went to your annual check up everything was fine...

The woman approached you with lazy steps that expressed the foggy whirlwind in her mind. She was young, not as experienced as the other doctors in the ER so it was her first time delivering such kind of news to a completely unaware and naive woman.

“I suppose you didn’t know you were pregnant?” She eventually asked, voice dropped to a low, careful pitch trying hard not to startle you to death. But shock wasn’t your first reaction, no, it was denial. Sweet, torturous denial like you always applied. Your relationship with Nate going downhill so much earlier than your actual breakup was traumatic testament to that. You could have parted form him months before the breakup and it would have been far from unjust.

“Pardon me, I’m what?”

“The special hormone hCG is significantly high what clearly indicates pregnancy” the doctor explained still ever as careful and restrained but the message was clear as a lonely night.

“This can’t be... Wha- How can I?” You stammered, cheeks pumping crimson red as you began to chew your nails, searching your memory for anything what could explain or proof this very unrealistic finding.

And then it hit you like an 18-wheeler truck on a straight highway…

“Darling? Should I-“ Tom panted in between heavy kisses, his angry hips already bucking up against your crotch.

One of your palms pressed flush against the backseat window while your other hand was ranking through your lover’s golden curls. “No, it’ll be fine, Tom“ you whined battling the friction of his bare erection teetering between your parted legs as you straddled his lap. He smelled so musky, so masculine and it got you heady.

The runtime of the film you watched on the cinema date was longer than expected, leaving no time for you lust-drunken lovebirds to wait until you reached Tom’s bedroom. His car had to suffice and luckily, the backseat area was broad enough for your shins to part around his and rest on the black leather.

Passionate whispers and lewd growls filled the blacked out car to the hilt as the windows began to fog up from labored breaths. With a strangled cry of “Thomas“ you sank down, allowing the fire of pleasure to burn you from the core.

This was the time he got you pregnant. One fucking time without protection and the wonder you’ve been running after for a tiring long time with Nate just happened. Out of nowhere.

It was terrific, frightening you to the bones whereas it was beautiful and intense at the same time.

But no matter how or when or what, this baby existed and making sure he or she was okay was inevitable now. There was plenty of time to cry about the breach in your emotional dam later. And to tell Tom.

Maybe, you should after all, right?

“Ho-how far along am I?” your voice was nothing more than a dying whisper, your painted nails frantically clicking on the sterile countertop. The baby was Tom’s without a single doubt, luckily, but you simply needed to know whether it was this small, deemed inconsequential accident that really grew a new life in your belly.

“Approximately ten weeks so the first trimester is almost already over” she smiled softly, wrapping the shocking news in glossy gift paper that said ‘yay look how far you’ve come'.

But little did she knew this child was more than just unplanned and unrecognized until now. It was a wonder to you after tryin for a baby with Nate for a tiring and depressingly long time. Without success.

And now that you’ve found the love of your love it should’ve just magically clicked?

This was hardly an explanation to your shattered mind. Sounded like a cheap plot point borrowed from a bad romcom.

As the coy woman applied the cold ultrasound probe on your not pregnant looking belly you twitched from the unfamiliar feeling. “Is it healthy?“ Your own voice sounded distant to you as if a blacked out curtain was separating your body and soul in a state of excerption.

Nothing truly felt real.

“Oh, yes! Everything seems just fine“ she began, skilled eyes trailing the screen and quick fingers taking first measurements for your records. A relived sigh escaped your sore throat while your fucked up mind just hoped for Tom to stay wherever he was right now.

Perhaps it was tragically wrong but you needed some time to process this on your own before you could feel ready to tell the love of your life you had never talked with about having kids, that he was going to be father in ridiculous six to seven months.

Gosh, how the hell could you have been pregnant for ten weeks without knowing or jumping up on any hints. It felt so bizarre.

After begging her to keep shut about it whereas she subjected to the obligation of silence anyway you stuffed the anti-inflammatory gel for your wound in your bag and said a hurried goodbye.

This day would be the young doctor's most special one for a very long time, you were sure about it. But for you this day has been a life changing roller coaster ride in uncharted, deep waters.

But for now you needed a few days to cope…

“My darling, are you sure you’re feeling alright?“ Tom’s caring voice embraced you in a soothing hug that vanished as soon as you thought about the reason for your shy behavior. It had been a long week since the fateful visit at the hospital but your emotional chaos was far from tidied up.

Too far.

Quite the contrary, it was ignited by numerous tabloid articles and posts saying how you weren’t the right partner for Tom and how you were supposedly bad for his career. The Moralizer wasn’t even released yet nevertheless, the voices got loud already. Nate got your life fucked up and you just didn’t possess the strength to do away with all this bullshit.

It crawled under your skin like a scalpel but it shouldn't. You were helpless.

You just huffed, hiding your spent face in the crook of your lover's neck, one hand resting on your belly where his child was growing.

Still unbeknownst to the hot Brit who would sell his entire life to be with you. At least that’s hoe he felt while you were manipulated and corrupted by the all the crude comments.

“Just tired, Tommy”. You were starting to believe that this was bad for Thomas and his life. That you were bad for him.

“Hmm” the soft hum hit your bones nudging your sensitive heart that was overwhelmed by pregnancy hormones and the crushing pressure on your delicate shoulders. You would love nothing more than to tell him but would he really be happy? Maybe they were right and this whole thing was a fling, a mere spark until he found someone else.

“Then let’s head home, shall we?” the gentle smile put his pearl white teeth in full display as his strong arm wrapped around your waist. Your face twitched in undefinable emotions as Tom’s big hand brushed your lower belly.

If he only knew… would he speak to him or her? Would he stroke your hardly visible bump?

A tired nod rolled your neck, every muscle felt sore and used whereas it was all in your head. It was just in your head and on multiple covers of tabloids or all around instagram and twitter. Reality was harsh on you while your lover tried his utmost best to comfort you with his deeds of love.

You loved Tom more than anything.

Another man in your life was a sheer impossibility because he would never meet the gold standards your handsome Brit had set with such elegance. When you closed your eyes you could see him flashing those suggestive glances at you when he supposed you weren’t looking that turned to hungry eyes worshipping every inch of your body while you howled his name out to the moon.

A journey full of beauty and upbringing of broken hearts.

“I love you Thomas. So much” the whisper was nearly audible yet it felt most natural and right. 'Love' and your partner’s name were two words as deeply intertwined as sky and blue. The way his velvet lips curled in a sheepish smile before he kissed you with hollowed cheeks putting the sharp bone structure on full display.

He was perfection; on the inside as well as on the outside and in every possible angle.

And you were the one to destroy the paradisiac image that was Thomas William Hiddleston. Hell would break loose if they only knew about your pregnancy. Especially after the heated drama with Nate and all his indiscreet comments on the reason for your rather sudden breakup.

Needless to mention the quarrel about you being pregnant after a ridiculous half a year of officially being a couple.

Tears were teetering on the brink of running free as you scrolled through your phone in the middle of the night. Baby Hiddles had taken your sleep away once again, your hormones totally deranging your sleep schedule. It began to be exhausting but needless to say, you were totally lucky to have experienced such a calm first trimester.

Such a totally uneventful one that lead you to find out by accident.

Then, your jaw clenched nervously as a notification from instagram popped up during your good old nightly session of HayDay. Someone sold a damn tape for only 100 coins, an item you were in desperate need of however, your cheeky finger tapped on the message.

“Oh, he did not” you breathed, hot tears were battling their way through your eyelids while the cheeks they brushed turned cherry red from unchained guilt feelings.

It was good old Nate who was just mindlessly trying to keep you in a wicked cage but the effect his comment had on your already damaged conscience was massive. Like a thunder striking a pile of dry wood. It was bursting up in flames. Just like that.

A frantically quivering hand found Tom’s steadily breathing chest, your fingertips graying the valleys of his skin. He was precious and utterly talented, a true gift to the world of acting and movie lovers.

The Brit shouldn’t be made a living target. Not one of your kind.

You couldn’t beat this syndrome of yours being contagious after all but Nate was right. It had already infected Tom and he should back off as long as there wasn’t too much negative criticism about the charmingly smiling man.

You were the problem, so you were going to solve it, you decided internally, fingers clenching tighter around the cold phone. Small sobs and whimpers were muffled by Tom’s black duvet as shaky fingers booked the last free seat in business class from London to Australia.

Elsa promptly texted you that it was perfectly fine if you visited them for a few weeks so you slipped out of the king sized bed you shared so many memories of pure passion and deep devotion with. By chance, you got in the first flight tomorrow making you have to leave for the airport when Tom must be still asleep.

Cruel, you were well aware, but talking to him was something you couldn’t bear. Your heart would just burst into even smaller fragments if you truly had to face him and tell the man who treated you like a queen that you were bad for him. That you were leaving only because of the sake of his own career.

Never you could posses the strength to break a heart so cherished so a piece of paper and a pen had to suffice.

Dear Tom,

I am heartbroken to tell you that while you’re reading this I’m on my way back to Australia. All those comments, headlines and posts about us were too much for me to bear and not only Nate attacking you now instead of me is something I cannot live with. Never would I wish to be the cause of your dream to end so please carry on, Thomas. I won’t be standing in your way anymore…

The paper was draped on Tom’s nightstand as the first rays of sun tickled his bare skin, a white rose was placed right across the bloody lines. The drawers of his wardrobe were open… and painfully empty while your suitcase had disappeared from his subtle closet.

You were gone alongside your most important things. And what he still didn’t knew; his child.

It left him on his knees, a painful, deep cry echoed though the modern apartment sounding like a lonely wolf emitting his very last howl.

Your small sobs and whimpers were already thousands of kilometers away, carrying the weight of having broken not only one but two hearts at once. And you hated the thought of having shattered Tom’s who had given everything to put yours together again.

You felt awful but you needed some distance. Otherwise it would devour you relentlessly.

layton towns ive seen so far ranked by how much i want to live there

St Mystere: seems cool and robots are awesome but everything kinda looks the same everywhere, might get a little boring after a while. also the tower makes loud noises at night idk if id like that very much. 6/10

Dropstone: i dont remmeber much about that place lol but probably okay. 6/10

Folsense: THEYRE GAS LEAK. 0/10. but maybe before the gas leak? seems like a pretty town. not sure if i personally vibe with it a lot though. 4/10

Fake London: ew its clive. ew. it sucks. 0/10

Misthallery: ILY MISTHALLERYYYY assuming that there is not active spectre and targent attacks, seems cozy. theres even boats thats so cool. BEAUTIFUL ARCHITECTURE <3. but theres police here so i have to take off a point 9/10

Stansbury: I LOVOE YOU STNASBURYYY ILYYYYY ILY STANSBURYYYYYYY ILY STANSBURYYYYYYY and theres even a funny wall nearby. and theres even no cops 10/10

Monte D'or: ive never been to vegas. seems nice but way too touristy and loud even if they have a dedicated residential area. like i feel like id have to wade through crowds just to get to like a grocery store or whatever. but at least theres no shortage of activities they have TINGLY TOWN nearby. oh yeah since i docked off a point from misthallery for having police im docking one off here too sorry 6/10

Froenborg: seems nice but i think i would freeze to death and also we dont really get a chance to see that much of it (i just finished chapter 2)? so i dont really feel much of a homey connection to it. 6/10

Kodh: sorry i just dont vibe with this one? </3 love loses. 3/10. BUT THEN I REMEMBERED THERE ARE KITTIES HERE so 5/10

I went digging about E&B's living situation and this is all I could find:

Eugenie and Beatrice shared a 4 bedroom apartment at St James’s. Bea got the apartment when she started uni in London and lived rent-free until 2012, when Andrew had to start paying rent, £20k a year (commercial rates were between £100-150k/yr). Ahead of Euge's wedding to Jack, they moved to Ivy Cottage at KP grounds. Bea stayed at SJ, Edo moved in, they bought a house in Cotswolds in 2021 and moved there in November 2022. It’s possible they still have some London place since Bea is often papped in London.

Euge and Jack moved to Royal Lodge around Covid, in Summer 2020 went back to Ivy Cottage and in late 2020 moved to Frogmore Cottage and stayed there only for 6 few weeks. Allegedly H&M wanted E&J to pay them rent and pro-Sussex source said they wanted to extend the lease so the family knew they weren’t going to disappear. This is an interesting H&M quote from May 2022 btw: „by agreeing to extend the lease, and with Jack and Eugenie focusing on Portugal, they have a firm presence smack-bang in the middle of Windsor Court where it’s all happening. They can now come and go any time they please. The coming year could be one of the most tumultuous in royal history and the Sussexes are making sure they have a foothold in Windsor.”

After moving out of FC in January 2021, E&J went back to RL and 2021 is when things get murky, I couldn’t find any reports, there were some articles that said they lived at FC again until 2022, who knows.

Early May 2022 is when things get interesting again, there are first reports of then-Cambridges moving to Adelaide Cottage and York sources come out saying that Euge and Andrew tried to secure the cottage for her and would have if it wasn’t for Andrew’s scandals. Then the same month it’s announced that E&J will move to Portugal for Jack’s work and will use Ivy Cottage again as their UK base.

Now we’re in 2023 and according to OK! Magazine, so I’m going to take it with a grain of salt, tho some parts are quite interesting. E&J moved back to FC in February and H&M couldn’t be happier that they took it over, Andrew is also happy that Euge got it, E&J packed up H&M’s items and when they visited, also in February, they brought small personal belongings, E&J want their kids to be brought up in England but also want to split time between England and California and will be staying in Montecito with H&M.

Anon, you are a little investigative genius! Thanks so much for all this. I think that if Eug had Frogmore, it would have come out for sure around the leaks about the lease ending. All we got was Andrew instead, and it feels like Andrew would get it over her, to be honest. I can see her packing up their stuff, but we've heard so much about Eug's living situation.

Like I said earlier, anyone who isn't paying market rent now, soon will be. Charles is cleaning house.

As for this: "The coming year could be one of the most tumultuous in royal history" - boy were the Sux right, but it seems to be moreso for them than anyone else!!

yess my OSs!! everyone should have some, it's good for the soul! anyway, here are short bits about each of them:

HMS Orca is a stealth ship. She is small by frigate standards, fast and remarkably well-manoeuvrable. She was designed by an unknown gentleman, who died before he could see her sent to construction - but luckily his friend, a lieutenant, noticed the state-of-the-art design and made sure the project was completed. She is almost entirely black - originally with white stripes along the broadsides - and her figurehead is a grotesque leviathan-looking whale, all part of the original design. This rather morbid look combined with her purpose as an intelligence/stealth vessel are why she is considered to cause bad luck for those who might see her from shore. Among her crews, however, she has had a good reputation as an easy ship to work and steer and one which usually sees little violent action. Being as useful as she is, she changes hands often, but the man who knows her best is still the one who first gathered her design off of his late friend's desk - the lieutenant in question became captain on her deck.

HMS Nettle, "Netty," or "Stinging Weed," as she's lovingly referred to by her crew, is a ship in chronic disrepair. Nigh-on seven different architects were involved in her conception and none of them particularly considered it a labour of love. She was commissioned by a trading company of two wealthy Londoners, however one of them died, leaving behind a mountain of gambling debts. His partner sold the half-finished ship to the admiralty for pennies, in whose hands she was hastily put together and thrown into action well before she was ready. Despite a dismal beginning, this brave leaking tub of a boat refuses to die, limping from one unlikely victory to another. No one wants to be saddled with her too long, but the men who know her remember her fondly - for one thing, she has very spacious lower decks. She has a yellow stripe along her broadside and a figurehead of a unicorn, which lost half its horn in an unhappy collision. Is she cursed? Is she blessed? Something in between? Who knows!

HMS Emperor Hadrian is a beast. Not that the admiralty would agree - for a first-rate frigate, 99 is a pitiful number of guns, so upon her first inspection, four savvy crewmen snuck a 6-pounder aboard to make her endowment a nice, round 100. She was designed by a Kentish nobleman who fancied himself a salt-of-the-earth shipwright on his days off. Thankfully, somewhere in the process an actual shipwright stepped in. Hadrian is painted dark blue with a big yellow stripe and her figurehead is the emperor himself, with a exceptionally chiseled brown beard that some drunk youths attempted to 'shave' once. Despite her size, she sits quite high in the water, which would make her fast and thus very handy - unfortunately, she has major problems with stability, so any dynamic action is always marred by the threat of listing. She has a long history. Hadrian was once captured as a Spanish prize, before her crew managed to take back control in a violent mutiny. The victorious tars carved their initials into her foremast, preserved through several repaints and repairs.

It's not entirely clear what King, The King's Challenger is supposed to be challenger of. Similarly undecided is whether the challenge is meant to be issued on the king's behalf or to the king himself. As her name suggests, she changed loyalties a lot. Built by the Dutch, she was bought by a Spanish merchant, then boarded and stolen by pirates off St. Lucia. When docked on New Providence, she was commandeered under the cover of night by a Welsh privateer without a single shot being fired. She has stayed under his command ever since, attacking easy prizes and ransoming letters all over the Irish Sea and Northern Atlantic. Her privateer captain has a dismal reputation among the navy, but both he and his beloved Challenger are welcome characters in alehouse gossip. Those who know the ship also marvel a little at her success, given her tiny size. She is an experienced, predictable and a very well-balanced ship, with a chequerboard pattern of white and red along her miniature broadside and an effigy of St. Catherine as her figurehead.

We had really heavy rains the other night, and a leak in my roof I thought was fixed...wasn't. And it dripped right down onto my charging roomba, which may never recover. The guy came today to check it out and said it will only be like $350 to patch, which is about half what I was prepared to shell out, and since I've made so much progress on paying off my debt I just...have that? In my checking account? (Getting a higher-paying job really did change my life.) Anyway he's gonna come fix it in the next few days.

Sunday is my birthday and I'm flying to England for a couple weeks with my parents and little brother. We have booked some really neat-looking places to stay -- an oceanfront apartment in the heart of Newquay, a garden apartment in Bath, rooms over a pub in Richmond. I think it's going to be a little more jam-packed activity-wise than I'd like, especially because we're doing a lot of repeats from Bath (Oxford, Stonehenge, Salisbury) because my dad hasn't seen all that. But it's been 8 years since we did all that, so it'll be nice anyway. And who am I kidding, I visit the same parts of London literally every time I visit (St. James's Park for example). AND last time we were in London there was scaffolding on Big Ben, so it will be nice for Dad to see it in all its glory.

I am looking forward to eating lots of fish and chips and lots of meringues and Sally Lunn's Bunns and that good bacon.

Look up the leaked Operation London Bridge plans on Politico. So far everything they have announced has tracked quite closely to those leaked plans so that might be a good place to start.

If I’m remembering those plans right, Charles is supposed to attend a service at St. Giles Cathedral in Edinburgh after receiving a motion of condolence from the Scottish Parliament so I suspect they might have a condolence book visitors can sign.

Ultimately Harry can’t be that fearful of his safety and security in London if he cooperates with the paps taking his photos at LAX on a last-minute flight to see Charles post-cancer diagnosis. He cant be that fearful of his safety if he’s leaking to Royal reporters which hotel he’s staying in when he visited Charles.

This reads more like setting up a narrative for Harry to back out because he can’t get the guests he wants. He’s said before he wants the full royal family to come support it but that’s unlikely since William can’t even be in the same room when Harry is skyping in.
