As of actual books not anything atm. I got through the first part of Journey to the West bc my friend got it to me and have been meaning to pick it up. Am reading lots of webcomics tho! The ones I’m reading atm is SSEC (been reading I was a baby :3), castle swimmer, lore Olympus, high class homos, and blood of the butterfly to name a few :)

Favorite Color:

Green but bc it’s used to be my favourite colour when I was younger. Not really obsessed with a particular but if I had to pick a colour it would be this specific green

Last song:

Coffee by jackstauber is the last thing that played on my playlist (I took a few days writing this and I had to wait til the last minute to check the last song cuz I listen to a lot of music)

Last Movie:

There on poppy hill. It was really pretty and cute apart from the bit where the main characters were worried that their love story might be incestuous (dw it wasn’t, the boy just didn’t know who his dad was).

Sweet/Spicy/Savory

Maybe this is controversial but I can’t stand spicy food (ik spicy is my name but my taste buds are actually so sensitive). I’d say I prefer savoury bc I don’t care for sweets but I am also obsessed with tinned fruits and smoothies

I Wrote a Thing

I am either going to commit a huge breach of Tumblr etiquette or I am going to do something that might be helpful to me and enjoyable to my followers.

Y'all know I haven't been on here much and have only posted a few short pieces to AO3 in the last year or so. That's because I was working hard on a science fiction/gay romance trilogy, and the first book of that has now been published. I've used yet another pen name because this series is very different from my previously published work, and Daisy Rivers only writes fanfic.

The lovely painting above is the work that the extremely talented Florilègeart (@echo-bleu on here) created for my website, a portrait of my two protagonists, Ash and Cade, at the beginning of their relationship. You can read about them in Ashok's Song, Book One: The Singer, available on Amazon; there is also a coordinated album, Ashok's Song, that you can find on Apple Music or Spotify.

I'm linking to my website -- that's the etiquette breach I'm worried about -- where you can read more about this story and the characters, and maybe even order the book if you're interested. But if this is a horrible Tumblr offense, please let me know.

@leesbian42​ i’m not sure if i’m reading you right because i’m bad at communication and understanding and…well, life, but if this is engaging in curiosity, then:

Wherein Ozai Finally Fucking Dies: part of my “Sun, Stars, Earth” suzukka series, and spoiler alert everyone is really super fucking happy about it, lol. kind of a breather after the one fic of mine in the same series focusing on how i imagine zuko would be severely negatively affected by aang sparing loserlord asshole.

this crossover is happening whether i like it or not isn’t it: this has been rolling around in my head for a while and started with this post but keeps growing in the back of my mind and it’s just begging me to write it and i know i’m eventually gonna cave. we’re looking at an au set in the dragon age universe with avatar anders where kyoshi takes over the role of justice. i don’t have much planned out yet, and certainly not which characters from which universes go where (although i do have jet cast in the da-verse and it’s honestly perfect but i am also so sorry), so it’s probably gonna be a while before it ever happens, but i am fairly certain at this point it is going to happen.

Astrid vs. chronic illness: wherein i project all of my physical issues onto my darling inquisitor astrid trevelyan, and how difficult it is to lead the inquisition as a disabled person as well as how hard a time she had in the circle with templars watching her closer than most other mages because they were ableist as fuck on top of already being templars and were concerned she was going to inevitably turn to blood magic to try to cure herself.
