me and my friends are having a game night tonight

that got me thinking Les Amis game night

courf always suggests spin the bottle

enjolras *hates* that he's good at monopoly

bahorel and eponine are the people who have flipped the monopoly board the most

gavroche is nearly always banker and gets incredibly into the roll (jehan has many top hats and you beassured they are used for monopoly)

when playing charades or pictionary the triviumate can not team up (they can read eachothers minds)

this also means that jbm can not team up either for the same reason

and Marius and combeferre can't team up or there will be a murder and ferre is not the one who will be dying this time

the board game operation terrifies joly they've all agreed not to play it

cosette likes cluedo a little too much to the point it kinda scares people

combeferre is shit at trivial pursuit unless it's about something of his interest Vs grantaire is incredible at it

feuilly mainly attends the games night for the food and the 'good' vibes and the company poor man needs a break

twister is chaos and bossuet broke his arm and managed to break enjolras nose (again)

Okay but speaking of modern AU Les Amis—

We can all agree that joly&bossuet&R would hold the BEST karaoke nights, right?

no bc Eponine and R are definitely singing “you belong with me” at the top of their lungs

Bossuet and Joly would re-enact whole musicals (just the two of them at first, R is occupied recording them, Courf and Bahorel join later.) trying to rap guns and ships as fast as humanly possible.

Jehan would spend days in advance to prepare the most sappy, cheesiest love songs ever created, Only for them to be in Italian, So he’s the only one singing,

mabye Combeferre sings along with him (courf soon follows after, blabbering into the mic, trying to follow the rhythm, not knowing a single word in Italian)

(Jehan only actually chooses sappy-Italian songs or mitski. No inbetween)

Also Enjolras refuses to show up/partecipate,

He says he’s busy, but everyone knows he only does this because he’s tone deaf.

- Grantaire can make himself sneeze (I really doubt this is actually possible in real life but who cares? not me) and Enjolras is very impressed by this. Enjolras has a kitten sneeze

- in fourth grade Jehan briefly developed a crush on Feuilly because Feuilly convinced him to start flossing regularly and Feuilly is good at gardening and taking care of plants

- (in middle school) in debate club Éponine and Montparnasse debated alligators vs crocodiles

- Combeferre has a bunch of commercial jingles memorized from all the TV he and his family watch, and if he hears part of a jingle he’ll sing all the jingles he knows under his breath

- Marius eats hot sauce with his eggs every single time he eats eggs

- Valjean and Cosette come up with the meal of French Italian fusion chicken soup

- Valentine’s Day (which is also Bossuet’s birthday) fifth grade, Musichetta gave Bossuet a blue raspberry fun dip (that means business) and when he tried to share it with Joly they spilled it all over the carpet

- Courfeyrac calls everyone bro, he calls his dog bro, he calls his parents bro, he calls his teachers bro (but Jehan doesn’t want to be called bro so Courfeyrac calls him captain, Jehan loves this)

- Bahorel really loves rap and musicals, then when Hamilton came out it was his new favorite thing

- in third grade on field day Musichetta, Joly, and Bossuet did the three-legged race together (four-legged race I guess lol, well that makes it sound like a normal race, but it’s four legs between three people lmao)
