Yn woke up with the feeling of someone gently caressing her face. She hummed softly at the feeling, how long had it been since anyone touched her like that?

She cracked her eyes open and was met by Theo, green eyes staring softly at her, mouth parted into a soft smile.

"Morning sleepy head" he murmured to her, his voice still groggy from sleep.

Yn smiled gave him a tired grin and snuggled close to his chest.

She felt theos run his hands softly through her hair "we promised Liam that we'd meet with him at the preserve remember?"

"I don't want to go...I just want to stay here with you forever and ever" the girl replied stubbornly her voice slightly muffled as she pressed closer to his body.

"Me too baby..."

Yn looked up at him and gave him a tired smile " then let's stay here, damn Liam"

"Oh really? Then Liam will come here and take the katana back and send me straight back ro hell" he replied giving her a teasing smile.

"He wouldn't be cause if he did I'd personally de ball him"

"You are so Stiles sister" he chuckled and bent his head slightly down and pressed his lips against yn's.

The sunlight came through the window illuminating the room in which the teenagers were. Still tangled in the bed sheets, pronouncing their love for each other.

Yn didn't know how but the kiss suddenly took a smutty turn. Her skin felt as if it caught fire, and she longed to feel Theos skin against hers. The arm that Theo had around her waist moved so that she laid on her back with Theo above her propping himself up in an elbow kissing her. Yn found that she didn't feel slightly uncomfortable with the way that Theo kissed her, softly, lovingly and somehow demanding. Somehow it didn't feel as if he was asking something from her that she didn't feel comfortable to give.

Yn hands wondered to his hair. Messing it more that what it already was, she pulled him closer, letting him kiss her more deeply. Her skiing clawed and she felt a somehow familiar wetness between her legs, she knew what she wanted now. She wanted him, more like needed.

Softly she jerked her hips up clashing with Theos side. Theo quickly pulled back and stared down at her with slightly wide eyes. His lips red from kissing and hair a complete mess.

Yn started back at him biting the edge of her lower lip nervously. Maybe she had done something wrong. But that doubt suddenly faded when Theo reached down again and kissed her.

"Are you sure about this" he asked her tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Yeah...I just. I've never done it before...I mean I know all about it, just that you're the first guys I've ever even kissed..." she said nervously. She assent nervous because of him. She was nervous because she didn't want to do anything wrong.

"We don't even have a condom" he told her softly, Theo wanted her, but he couldn't bring himself to do something that she wasn't comfortable with.

"Uh.. I think Stiles has in the bathroom of the hallway"

"Ill get it"

As Theo exited the room she thanked her lucky stars once gain that Her father wasn't home. Hed totally freak out if he was the chimera in boxers wondering in the halls.

Yn giggled at the though. Her dad would surely skin her alive.

Theo returned "he had, why does he even have any? I though he and Malia had broken up" he said climbing into bed.

"Oh forgot to tell you... with my help stydia happened" she was so proud of herself, her brother was finally happy... except currently he was in a ghost riders dimension. But never mind.

"Finally?! I though they we're never going to admit their feeling for each other?"

"I know... but I helped plenty..."

"Huh.. really? It took you so long to admit you had feelings for me?" Theo gave her a playful smile as he laid again next to her.

"That's because I was young and stupid and they already had working chemistry. I only had to add a few touches." Yn said smiling turning to her side to face him." And also because I'm pretty awesome" she added with a wink.

"That you are" Theo. Breathed out as he wrapped an arm around Yn gain and flipped her to laying on her back him hovering above her, propping himself in an elbow. Green eyes looking softly down at her, as if caressing her with a look." Are you a hundred percent sure you want to do this?" He asked her again.

Yn nodded with a small smile.

Theo reached down again and and kissed her forehead softly and then claimed her lips once again. Their lips moved in complete sink. Though more heated up. He softly bit onto her lower lip. Prying her lips open. She granted him access and his tongue explored her mouth, tongues meeting and teeth clashing. Theo ran his hand softly against her side, from her stomach to her tight, fingers lingering over her clothed skin.

Yn ran her hands through his hair, relishing on the feelings he made her feel. She was pretty sure that by now her underwear was soaking wet, and her body was covered in goosebumps.

Theo gave a low moan into her mouth as she pulled on his hair. They parted the kiss and stared at each other.

"No way you get turned on when I pull your hair"yn giggled, Theo rolled his eyes and rested his for head against hers.

"Yn I could smell your arousal form a mile away. No way you get turned on when I kiss you" he retorted back, and before yn could get over the shock that he actually said that, he kissed her again. Yn kissed back after a moment purposely pulling in his hair, she could feel Theo trying to keep his moans at bay.

Theo then started kissing her jaw and then down to her neck. Bitting softly just below her jawline. Yn took a strangled breath as he continued kissing down her neck. Moving her.. well actually his, shirt to the side. Exposing her shoulder. Yns eyes closed shut as Theo found her sweet spot. She felt him smile into her skin as she have a low moan when he started sucking.

"Theo don't live hickeys to big or my dad will skin us BOTH alive" she told him.

She felt him remove his mouth from her neck " uh... you can wear a turtle neck?" He asked sheepishly.

His hand wondered below her shirt and softly caressed her skin. Making Yn shiver slightly, pulling Theos hair. He lowly moaned into her skin. Sending vibrations through her making her smile. She was enjoying this so very much.

Theo then pulled away from her neck and lifted the hem of the shirt slightly "off...?"

Yn lifted her torso slightly and let him pull the shirt off, leaving her chest and stomach exposed. She blushed slightly because she knew that she had a slightly flat chest which she had tried to ignore all through her teenage years.(this is because you see... She bit her lower lip as Theo looked at her body. Smelling her embarrassment he looked at her face. "You know you're beautiful right?" He whispered softly.

Yn looked in his eyes and knew he was telling the truth. She nodded slightly still a bit unsure. Theo kissed her lips once again." Yn you're are the most beautiful girl in the world, don't think otherwise" she smiled up at him.

"I love you too Yn" he whispered back. As if only for her to hear, as if only she should ever hear Those words.

Theo kissed her once again softly, and started to kiss again for her neck.

Taking the condom that he had put beside them in the bed, he pulled his boxers down, reveling his hard length. Yn had seen him naked a few times before. When he turned into a coyote or wolf and sneak into her room through the back door. Thats probably how she got hold of some of his clothes. She stared at him as he opened the plastic wrap and pulled the condom on and it struck her that she was extremely lucky to have a boyfriend that cared so much.

"Ok... are you still sure about this?" He asked once again

"Theo, yes... I'm sure"

Theo nodded and slowly pulled her underwear off, discarding it somewhere around the edge of the bed along with the rest of their clothes.

He pulled her legs apart and set himself between them. He looked at yn in the eye and rested their fore heads together."not going to lie... this might hurt. So try to breath in" he whispered, and kissed the tip of her nose.

Then slowly he pushed half his size inside of her. It didn't hurt so bad at first. Problaly because she had, and was, dripping wet.

"Do you want me to go all the way or.."

"Yeah go all the way" she breathed out.

He pushed inside if her gently. And Yn scrunched her face up in pain. Theo kissed the tip of her nose once again. He stayed still all the while letting yn adjust to his size inside of her. She shifted a bit under him and it hurt pretty much. Then suddenly all her pain vanished and she furrowed her eyebrows as she felt pleasure instead of the pain that had been tormenting her.

"Theo did you...?" She looked at him wide eyed " you took away my pain?" She whispered.

"I don't like seeing you in pain" he whispered " are you good now?" He asked her.

"Yeah, yeah.. you can move now"

Slowly Theo pulled out a bit and inside again. The wave of plesure Yn felt was amazing, she let oh a breathy sight, legs automatically wrapping around Theos torso pulling him closer. Her fingernails involuntarily scratched Theo's back.

"It ok, ill heal" Theo whispered between slight pants.

Yn nodded not trusting herself to talk.

The sunlight snaked it's way to the bed where the couple expressed each other a love that cannot be said or written. Along all the pleasure she was felling. She wondered how people ever had sex with anyone they didn't love, with anyone they sometime didn't even know. This was the most special way, anyone could express their love.

"Oh fuck" Theo murmured as he felt Yns falls tightened against him. She was close, and honestly if she kept tightening around him like that he'd be too. Actually he though he would come right then.

"Theo..." Yn asked unsur saying his name with a light wine in the end " I think I might be close" she said between low breathy moans which made Theo turn on even more.

" whenever you're ready baby ok?" Theo reassured her softly moaning when she involuntarily scratched his back, fingers curling around the bedsheets by the side of her head.

Yn felt a lightly familiar knot on the bottom of her stomach, she had felt it before when she had touched herself, but this one was much more prominent. Theo's head fell into the crook of her neck, his movements a little rougher than before. He lightly kissed her neck and let out a low moan when Yns hips jerked up meetings his stroke. Yn's walls tightened once again.

"Theo" she moaned, Theo felt as if be was in could 9 as he heard his name being said like that by her" Theo I'm gonna..."

"Ok, come for me sweet heart" he whispered into her neck.

His words had her come undone, she came wetting the sheets below then and him a bit. As she came with a moan that sounded in all the room, she jerked her hips up, sending Theo over the edge and cuming inside the condom with a moan and a grunt. Tightenig the grip he had around her waist.

Now that I have some distance from the Teen Wolf Movie, I've decided that my least favorite part was the character assassination of Scott.

1. Why is he not a vet?!?! He worked hard for that. He deserved that. He would have been an epic veterinarian! Why is he not explicitly Dr. McCall? Why is he not responding to 'are you an alpha?' with 'i'm a veterinarian' when our latest teen wolf asks the obvious question?!

2. Why is he in contact with no one but Deaton? This man lived and breathed pack relationships, okay. He literally went on a cross-state roadtrip with his currently estranged best friend on the possibility that he could bring back his possibly psycho fox girlfriend who left to protect them. But nah, he just left Beacon Hills 12 years ago and never calls his best friend or his beta.

3. Scott went out of his way to save his friends (including Derek) and his enemies. But he let Derek make the sacrifice play? In front of his son? Scott who's father left? Nah. Don't buy it. And he 100% wouldn't have taken Eli out of Beacon Hills in such an unlikely scenario either imo.

4. I know the point was Scallison, but would it have killed them to give Scalia a nod. Have them mention what happened? Have her ask his advice on Parrish maybe? We got the explanation for Stydia and Stiles wasn't even there.

If you're gonna give me lonely, isolated, and packless Scott McCall... you have to explain how he became that person because that was the exact opposite of how we left things.

I became a huge Sterek fan because the fics were great, but I admit to never watching the show or the movie since I heard the show was a mess and the movie was worse. So do you remember how the show treated Stydia,Stalia,& Draeden? because that is how a fandom becomes toxic is multiple ships. And it's jarring how Sterek writers have leagues better writing quality than the actual show writers so I totally understand why you guys didn't trust the show to develop this relationship. And I'm cackling at how Jeff let a mostly non canon ship get under his skin.

Absolutely. I used to be furious that Jeff refused to do Sterek in canon, and while it still irks me that Jeff (a gay man) clearly prioritizes heterosexuality and heterosexual relationships, I think the fandom collectively came to feel lucky that Jeff didn’t make Sterek canon.

Jeff’s track record with relationships in the show is that he ruins them. And intentionally, too. He clearly gets bothered when fans don’t focus on what he deems important, so he tries to ruin the things that they do focus on (ie. The ships). Not even the heterosexual ships that he apparently loves sooooooo much are safe from being ruined.

But Sterek shippers actually love Sterek, which is why the writing for them is so well done in fic. And it’s the reason why Sterek survived Jeff’s attempt to destroy it & why it survived the show’s run. I don’t think he was expecting fans to continue rallying around Sterek after he purposely kept Stiles & Derek from interacting in the show. And then Hoechlin left. And then Dylan left. Yet Stereks continued to ship it.

In my opinion, trying so hard to dismantle Sterek is what ended up destroying Jeff’s show. Not just his show, but his image as a showrunner. Before fans started to notice his Queerbaiting tendencies, fans actually loved him. Myself included. And we praised his writing and his work. Him putting more time and effort into trying to destroy a non-canon ship left him no time and energy to actually write decent seasons. And so look at those ratings immediately start to fall beginning with S4 (the same time he turned against Sterek).

In a way, I don’t think he’s been able to get over the error of his choice because he still tries to tease Sterek fans in odd moves. He oddly chose to bring Sterek back for the series finale. And he oddly chose to write the whole thing about Derek having “complicated feelings” about Stiles’ jeep, while also writing Eli to be like Stiles.

He either wants fans to forgive him or he thinks he’s being funny. But in reality, it just gives Sterek fans more things to write about in their fics. He should have just manned up and apologized back when it mattered.

Part 1: Lydia is not Stiles's anchor (pre-6A)

First of all, let's discuss why Lydia is NOT Stiles's anchor.

(And here, let me take a moment to say that I'm not trying to bash Stydia. I do think, however, that just because you're romantically interested in someone - I use the word "interested" here because I'm gonna mainly talk about Seasons 3-5 when they weren't officially together yet - that doesn't mean that the person of your romantic affection will be your anchor.)

The idea of Lydia being Stiles' anchor was introduced in Season 3, and consequently, that was the season when TW writers tried on multiple occasions to use this new-found prospect of their relationship as a plot device.

The first time Lydia was implied to be an anchor to Stiles was in Episode 11 when Stiles, Scott and Allison sacrificed themselves to the Nemeton to save their parents' lives. Seemingly, Lydia worked as an anchor here but I also have to point out the (imperfect?) execution of this idea. The purpose of the pairings in this scene, according to Deaton, was to pull the person back from (what I assume was) bardo but we also saw that when the three of them reemerged from the water, none of the others was standing beside them. (In which case, I don't understand the importance of such "emotional tethers". Was just the thought of Lydia supposed to bring Stiles back? Because Stiles was clearly not thinking of Lydia, the three of them got basically thrown back as soon as they found the location of the Nemeton.)

Additionally, the person serving as an emotional bond to the one being sacrificed wasn't necessarily an anchor in this situation. Despite their close relationship, I doubt that Scott had Deaton as his anchor, even though the vet was the one holding him down. Therefore, Lydia might not have been an anchor in this episode, only an emotional connection to Stiles - someone who could have been easily replaced by Scott himself if he had been available at the time.

The second instance suggesting Lydia's role as an anchor was within a series of nightmares Stiles experienced at the very beginning of Season 3B - courtesy of the Nogitsune trying to crawl into his head. Stiles had this dream with Lydia being in his bed when he suddenly noticed that the door to his room was ajar and he got up to close it. My question is: Why did dream!Lydia tell him to leave the door open? If she was supposed to be an anchor and Stiles was supposed to use her to keep - and in a way, guard - his sanity (like Derek did with dream!Stiles when Kate broke into his loft), shouldn't Lydia have encouraged him in closing the door to his mind?

Deaton made it clear that the problem after the ritual sacrifice was the metaphorical doors remaining ajar inside their minds which the Nogitsune was using as a rift to take control of Stiles. So why wasn't Lydia protecting him like an anchor? Maybe I'm just misinterpreting this scene. But if the writers decided to use Lydia as an anchor, then at least she should have succeeded in doing that, right? (Unless she's not an anchor here, which I'm gonna come back to in a bit.)

Another scene where Lydia could possibly be viewed as Stiles's anchor was the time when she entered a possessed!Stiles's mind alongside Scott to banish the Nogitsune. Lydia did make an attempt to get through to Stiles but her struggle to get his attention came to no result.

If she was his anchor in this scene, shouldn't she have been able to get Stiles to hear her? Scott reached him, though, and I know it was because of the Power of the Pack (which is nice, I actually liked that) but that only proves that Stiles here had to rely on something else to reclaim control over his mind.

But is Lydia really an anchor? And more importantly: Did Stiles actually choose her to be?

The first time around it was Deaton making that important decision, pairing them up because of the obvious romantic interest (and because there was no one else there to help Stiles, but that is beside the point). The second time, it might have been Stiles's brain conjuring up Lydia after being basically told that she should be his anchor. Alternatively, it might have been that Lydia was just a small part of the Nogitsune-induced nightmare - something created and used by the fox spirit to keep the door open inside Stiles's mind. On the third time, Stiles didn't even have a say in it. Lydia just got sent into Stiles's head by Peter and that was pretty much it. Stiles never actively chose to rely on Lydia as an anchor.

The only time Lydia could be considered a successful anchor to him was during Season 6A when she managed to bring Stiles back from the wild hunt. (I strongly believe that the anchor aspect of their relationship was the key distinction and explanation for why Lydia was the only person who could ultimately bring him back when even Scott - Stiles's best friend - and the sheriff - his literal father - couldn't succeed in doing so.) Consequently, this might mean that Stiles, along the way, changed his anchor as Derek had been long gone from his life by that point.

Still, before the events of Season 6A, Lydia doesn't function as an anchor. Which leads us to...

Part 2

Things that might potentially happen in the Teen wolf movie and scare the shit out of me:

(of course this is just my opinion)

1. Allison actually coming back as a real person: I mean... If she's a ghost, a vengeful spirit or if we see her in flashbacks that's cool, but if they revive her somehow I think that's bullshit.

2. The new girl being Kira's replacement: It's almost a fact that she's her replacement but if they make her 100% like Kira I think I might actually throw up.

3. Them making the new girl and Liam a couple (Related to the previous point): I am a big Thiam shipper and therefore this is one of the things that scare me the most. J. Davis recycled Allison and Scott's story with Liam and Hayden so... Also Dylan Sprayberry and the new actress have been suspiciously together but I really really hope I'm wrong.

If you're not gonna give us Thiam at least don't crush our spirits like that. Let Liam's love life ALONE please.

4. Them ignoring Theo's existence: This one is also related to the previous one. Theo was alive and was considered an ally to the pack. He had a redemption arc and was very important for the development of the last two seasons. Also... We have seen that they're going to somehow mention the Dread Doctors (based ok Khylin Rambo's Ig Stories) and Theo was essential for that storyline so if they ignore his existence or just blatantly kill him out of screen I'm gonna riot.

I don't think Jeff imagined how popular Theo Raeken would become. If you want proof go to Teen wolf's Twitter account and see how many people mentioned Theo when they knew about the movie.

5. The possibility that Eli Hale is Stiles replacement: Listen... NO ONE will ever be capable of replacing someone as iconic as Stiles. But I wouldn't be surprised if they try to somehow replicate his personality making Eli Hale a Stiles 2.0 instead of giving him his own personality.

6. Making Kate Argent Eli's mom: Teen wolf's timelines have ALWAYS been messy. But I'm still trying to figure out how Derek Hale has a 15 year old son. Derek would be in his 30's in this movie but for him to have a 15 year old son he would have to have him incredibly young. And we know what a fucking creep Kate Argent was.

I was hoping he would be his and Braeden's child but I obviously don't think that's the case given Eli's physical appearance.

7. Breaking up Stydia: I was watching The teen wolf wiki guy's video and the dude (he's a weirdo by the way but sometimes he brings useful info) and he said that we shouldn't expect to see "teenage relationships" lasting and that ships are not even important in a supernatural/fantasy series. I couldn't disagree more. Teen wolf's writing was messy most of the time and many of us stayed for the characters and their relationships. So why building something so loved by the fandom (or at least many people in the fandom) like Stydia and then destroy it out of camera? People are already pissed that they were cowards who didn't dare to give us Thiam endgame so... If they erase Stydia... Well they might as well sleep with an eye open.

10. Makings Lydia and Jackson super close: I know that people started to like Jackson in S6 but to me... He never actually did something that actually gave him a redemption. And it honestly boils my blood that they acted as if he never was abusive towards Lydia. Listen Jeff... MAKING SOMEONE GAY DOESN'T AUTOMATICALLY MAKE HIM A GOOD PERSON.

11. Them pairing Mason and Jackson: Okay hear me out. I know this is probably a stretch but J. Davis has made the weirdest relationships before and since Aiden and Corey are nowhere to be seen, I wouldn't be surprised if they pair Mason with Jackson just because they're both LGBT.

STYDIA LIKERS PLS TAP OUT NOW rant incoming

I’ve GOT to gripe, but like. Let me just say. Stiles and Lydia as bi/pan solidarity best friends is my EEEEVERYTHINGGG. There’s some moments between them that I SOOO love, except it’s only the platonic ones (n if you’re me, you’re reading intended-to-be-romantic scenes as platonic on purpose bc hey you’re allowed to care for someone’s safety and well-being in a FRIEND way OKAY). I need them 2 be bitchy best friends so much, that’s my lifeblood.

But romantic stydia…. SO truly bad. I hate the early 2000s-2010s trend of “guy being straight up creepy and obsessed is an endearing trait” thing they use to introduce it. Then stydia didn’t even exist after like, season 3a, but all of a sudden they NEED it to be the center of season 6a so they bring it back in a WHIRLWIND. Stiles saying “remember I love you” kills me bc like. Brother you have been dating Malia. You fully were not even interested in Lydia anymore I HHSGHSGGGj. They had to REAAALLY force that one convo in 5a (?) where Scott, Kira, Lydia and Stiles go to Eichen and Scott and Kira basically exposition at each other about how they’re soooo good together (what. why. where is this coming from. show me your proof Scott. SHOW ME YOUR PROOF!!)

Not to mention it undermines the other relationships so much bc hello? Out of Scott, Malia, and Lydia, Lydia is the LAST person that would be likely to bring Stiles back. They absolutely had the weakest connection out of everyone there. Also the panic-attack-stydia-kiss— NOOOOO nononono. BAD SO BAD. I FHJSHJFUckin digress.

I’ve said this before but I reaaaally really hate how Lydia’s arcs are often completely thrown out when love interests are introduced, and that still definitely happens with Stiles. Suddenly in 6a her entire character revolves around him and how much she loves him and needs him and Totally Has The Whole Time !! HHHHUH ?? Because MEANWHILE we’ve had a big arc about Lydia coming into her own and realizing her powers and that pretty much grinds to a halt once stydia starts trying to be canon.

Not to mention the fact that you get about 5 seconds of stydia being canon on-screen before it becomes irrelevant again, so whYYY did we do this in the first place ??? I’MMHDJGHJ

I may or may not make a more comprehensive version of this post at some point in the future, I’m not sure, cos this is just me off the cuff spouting my issues with it. Not as well articulated as I’d generally like. BUT. yea. I am a hater. my overall reaction to stydia is EUGH AUGH… ECK…. BAD……..

So I finally sat down and watched the Teen Wolf movie, but it's been out long enough that I feel like it's okay to talk about, but just in case... 🚫*spoilers ahead*🚫

WHAT THE ABSOLUTE FUCK WAS THIS?!?!

1st complaint: literally every single romantic relationship for Malia has felt incredibly forced, even in the show, but none more than whatever the hell she and Parrish had! I might except some arguments for Stalia, but I always knew Stydia would be endgame...

Speaking of Stydia... let's talk about my 2nd complaint which is that trash throw away ✨️reason for Lydia leaving Stiles✨️ "idea" are you- are you really telling me, the girl that was able to convince a whole group of people and HIS FATHER that Stiles even existed after everyone forgot him and was able to bring him back into existence would just... leave him after a DREAM?!?! She fought against everyone telling her she was crazy for remembering someone who supposedly never existed, but she wouldn't fight for a reason to stay with the love of her life??? Cause that's not the Lydia I remember! She was stubborn, brave, and most of all she believed in her ideas cause she knew how smart she was! This just seemed like the "must use woman's pain to further plot" trope. On top of having a reason for Stiles not to be there since Dylan couldn't be in the movie.

3rd complaint: did none of the relationships the show workout or something? Like... why did Scott AND Argent not want Melissa to know they were in town? Argent and Melissa were so cute! She helped him heal and move on, he actually liked and let her be the strong independent woman she always was. I don't particularly care that Allison came back, I wasn't crazy about how they handled it, but whatever. I think Allison would've been happy to see her dad happy again after how he was after her mom died and then eventually her... instead of lonely and grieving his life away.

But no, Melissa and Argent gone.

But also Stydia... gone.

Scalia... gone.

And from what little I gathered Ethan and Jackson are... something. But Jackson is apparently comfortable just being gone and lying to him about why.

Speaking of being gone... onto my 4th complaint! ALL OF PETER HALE'S CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT WAS JUST GONE!!! Like they had me in his first scene with the blow torch, that was just regular old sassy Peter, but then he was just all Gung-ho for killing Allison and right back to his revenge filled ways. He was so protective and ready to finally be a dad for Malia at the end of the show, granted he still had a long way to go, but he was finally fighting with the pack and mending his relationship with Derek. When Scott is monologuing at the end of the final episode he says "Now we have allies who used to be enemies. We have protectors." And it cuts to a clip OF PETER FREAKING HALE!!!!! Like I wasn't expecting perfection, Peter was always a bit of a d*ck, but for all of his progress to just be gone was heartbreaking. Only redeeming part was the cigar and blowtorch bit because it had so much Doc Ock 2004 vibes.

And finally Derek... I just- I can't... I know it's cliche and cringey to say, but this movie is not canon for me. Because if it was, that means I would have to admit all the garbage I just watched was real. And I will not accept that. Most of all Derek's fate... Just no.

Anyway... I could continue, but I would be going on forever with complaints. The way I see it is, I still love the show and I will still watch it. This movie doesn't exist and the characters are all still out there together living their best lives as they should be.

Lydia doesn’t come home for three days, and when she does, she refuses to speak to him.

Stiles is fine with it. 

All they do is fight, anyway.

“Could you hand me the milk, please?”

Container of cut-up fruit cradled in one arm, he shoves the cranberry juice to the side and grabs the plastic container, handing it backwards without a word. There are leftover sausage links in here somewhere, he knows there are, because Scott had made way too many when he came over for breakfast on Sunday and they hadn’t managed to finish half their food. 

The hard slap of something hitting the cabinet distracts him from browsing through the vegetable drawer for the second time. “What?” he says, looking over his shoulder. 

Lydia’s shoving the milk carton into their recycling, scowl fixed firmly on her face. “If you’re not going to buy more when you’re finished with it the least you could do is tell me when it needs to be replaced.”

“I forgot, sorry. Maybe you should check before you go shopping,” he suggests, shrugging one shoulder before turning back to his search. 

“Maybe I should look? Maybe you should do your part in keeping a house running—”

“It’s just milk, Lydia, calm the fuck down about it—”

“It’s everything,” she says, so close to a shriek that it startles him into turning back to face her. “It’s the milk, the toothpaste, and laundry detergent. It’s constantly reminding you to take your meds, to eat, to bring your shit in from the car so it doesn’t get stolen. I’m your wife, Stiles, not your goddamn mother—”

“No, mine’s dead,” he snaps, turning away.

“Don’t you dare,” Lydia spits at him, and the next thing he hears is the sound of the front door slamming shut.

Allison [10:41pm]: Hey Stiles [10:41pm]: Is she there? Allison [10:42pm]: Yeah Allison [10:42pm]: I don’t want to be in the middle of this anymore Allison [10:42pm]: You guys need to figure something out Stiles [10:48pm]: I’m sorry

“—like, it’s milk, it’s not that big of a deal,” he says, and his dad lifts an eyebrow.

“It was just the milk?”

Stiles fidgets under the judgemental look he’s getting, fingers tapping the bench seat on either side of him as Surfin’ U.S.A. plays from the speakers overhead. “Just then,” he says. “I don’t remember shit like that, she knows it. She can’t let anything go.”

“Sounds like someone else I know.” His dad nods up at the waitress when their food is dropping off, quickly sliding curly fries from Stiles’ plate onto his own. “I don’t think this is what she meant in her vows when she said she’d take care of you.”

“You’re supposed to be on my side,” he complains, taking the pickle spear off his dad’s plate and biting down on it. “Not hers.”

“I’m not on anyone’s side.” 

“No, you’re on the side of we never should have gotten married in the first place,” Stiles says. He doesn’t say he’s starting to feel the same way. He digs into his burger, promising himself he’ll do better, if just to prove everyone wrong.

He doesn’t.

Neither does Lydia.

Everything only gets worse.

Stiles knows what the manila envelope sitting on the table is before he even opens it. Lydia looks tired sitting across from him, eyes red, not a trace of make-up on her typically immaculately made face. “Please don’t fight me on this,” she says. She sounds worn down, and he hates himself a little for it. “I told them just to split everything equally.”

Equal—it’s not equal. Stiles knows this; it’s the house her parents bought for them, it’s the debt from his student loans they wiped out. Stiles should be walking out of this with nothing and he knows it, but when he opens his mouth to point that out, she grabs his hand. “Please don’t. I’m so tired of fighting with you.”

He squeezes back, turns her hand so he can hold it properly, thumb brushing up against her diamond ring. “This really isn’t fair to you,” he says, and she shrugs. 

“Since when have we been fair to each other?”

It’s a good question; he doesn’t know the answer. Maybe everything would be different if they ever had been. “I still love you,” he tells her, rubbing at her ring again. He’s surprised to see it still on—he would have thought it would be the first thing to go.

“When my parents got divorced … my mom told me love wasn’t enough to keep a relationship going.” Lydia laughs weakly, sounding sad. “Guess I should have believed her.”

He signs the papers.

“I saw Lydia the other day,” Scott offers, hesitantly. “She asked how you were.”

He covers the way he pauses by pretending he’s trying to choose which slice to grab. “Yeah? She doing okay?”

Scott shrugs. “Allison said she’s doing better. I’ve never been able to figure out Lydia, you know that. She said to tell you hi.”

Stiles shoves a slice of pizza in his mouth so he doesn’t have to talk about it and bites down. “Movie or game?”

“Game, dude, I know your taste in movies.”

He doesn’t stop thinking about her, but they’ve had such a fragile peace in their limited interactions that it takes him hours to decide to send her a text. 

Stiles [2:25am]: Sorry for the way I treated you Stiles [2:25am]: You deserved better

“Stiles?”

It’s Lydia, of course. He takes a breath and blows it out his nose as he turns around, a small smile on his face as he takes her in. She’s wearing the green dress he loves, velvety soft and tight, hugging the curves of her body that he still knows so well. “Hey,” he says, and only hesitates a moment before he reaches out and pulls her into a hug. They’ve been officially divorced for a few hours now, and they may have been a disaster together but he still misses the comfort she used to bring him. “Out celebrating your first day of freedom?”

She looks up at him with such a familiar gaze that his heart aches. “Is that what you were doing?”

He’s going to say yes, because the truth is pathetic, but he’s got nothing left to lose, really. “More like mourning it.”

Her hand is on his chest, playing with the collar of his button down. “Yeah,” she says quietly. “Something like that.”

It’s probably a bad idea to kiss her back when she tilts his head down and fits their mouths together; he does it anyway.

“I don’t—” he says, sitting down heavily on the couch, hand reaching out for the knitted blanket he keeps hanging over the corner and grabbing at it for some sort of comfort. “That’s—we slept together one time in the last—and you’re—”

“Pregnant,” she says. She looks at him steadily, and when he really looks back he can see the facade of calm cracking. Her hands, holding her purse in her lap like a shield, are gripping the leather too tight. Her foot is bouncing arrhythmically, her breath coming too quick. 

He meets her gaze. “Okay,” he says, blowing out a breath. There are questions they’ll have to answer—hundreds of them, thousands of them—over the next few months, but there’s one that Stiles doesn’t need to ask at all. Divorced or not, he still knows Lydia. “Let’s do this, then. Together.”

teen wolf: the movie thoughts

i’ve been thinking a lot about the teen wolf movie now that it’s coming out soon, and i have a few things i am nervous/excited about. because when beloved shows get rebooted or revived, majority of them end up ruining what was written previously, disrespecting the characters/their storylines for the sake of drama, and i don’t want that to happen to teen wolf.

i’m nervous about:

- stydia: i hope jeff didn’t break them up, but 13-15 years is a long time and people do drift apart. but stydia was a couple that was portrayed as “soulmates”. and if that gets ruined by a break-up just because dylan/stiles isn’t in the movie, i’m gonna be pretty pissed off. that is one quick way to ruin teen wolf for me and make it really hard to go back and enjoy the seasons. so i hope just because dylan/stiles isn’t in the movie, that doesn’t affect stydia. because they didn’t go through all that they went through to have it ruined in 2 hours. - allison coming back: i love that she is, and i am intrigued to see how it’s done. but i can’t go through another allison death scene again. the first one was too much. and the thought of potentially having the movie end with allison “dying” again makes me wonder if bringing her back, in whatever way they have, might cheapen her season 3 death?. whatever the story is with allison and the nogitsune, i hope it’s done in a way that makes sense, and respects allison and her relationships with the other characters. - how they go about stiles’ absence: let’s be honest, the reason why stiles didn’t come back to help his best friend/father/love of his life deal with this old/new supernatural enemy has to be a pretty solid one. because stiles wouldn’t leave scott alone to deal with allison coming back, he’d want to be there for his brother. so, i feel like that’s another reason why they choose the nogitsune. because then they can say the trauma from being possessed by him in S3 is the reason why he’s staying away. or scott, lydia, papa stilinski could of insisted stiles not come because they don’t want to subject him to that trauma again. also, they could say stiles is undercover somewhere since at the end of S6 he did walk into the FBI. whatever the reason, it needs to be believable for the fans to accept “oh, that’s why stiles isn’t there”. not some shitty reason that isn’t believable. - jeff/the writers ignoring what was canon or what previous seasons developed: i would love for there to be little easter eggs to previous seasons (beyond just the nogitsune, oni, etc). some shows/writers have a tendency to lean more towards drama purposes, then making sure that the revival is an extension of previous stories told while also keeping it fresh and exciting. i don’t want teen wolf to be one of those shows that ruins 6 seasons worth of content and characters. i don’t want to watch the movie and feel like it was a mistake to make it. - the movie format vs the season format: i assume the movie is roughly going to be 2 hours, and it concerns me either that may not be enough time to conclude the story or give proper character development, or the movie will drag on and include unnecessary filler scenes. also, this is going to sound bad, but i want the movie to be, kinda, like a love letter to the original characters. i don’t want new characters to be where they don’t fit. it’s two hours (roughly), and the nogitsune storyline seems like it’ll be a big one. and i selfishly want majority of the screen time to go towards allison and the friendships/connections we grew to love in the show - mama mccall/scott, lydia/allison, scott/allison, derek/scott, liam/scott, malia/scott, papa argent/allison, papa stilinski/mama mccall, derek/peter, liam/mason, etc.

i’m excited about:

- allison: i’m not sure if i’m more nervous or excited, but i am so glad to see allison again. i just have my fingers crossed the decision to bring her back was well thought out, and not done so with ill-intent. but then again, i doubt crystal would reprise a version of allison if she felt like it wasn’t genuine or respectful to allison, her journey and her connections with the characters - mainly her dad, scott and lydia. - the nogitsune: i know a lot of people aren’t too thrilled that they are using the nogitsune as the villain, and i get it, because dylan did make void stiles so iconic that it’s hard to imagine anybody else doing the same. but i keep thinking back to that bone-chilling line that void stiles said at the end of S3, “you can kill the oni, but me?. me?. you can’t kill me, i’m a thousand years old”. and the nogitsune is a trickster (if i remember correctly) so i assume in the span of 1,000 years there has been many variations of the nogitsune. i know, i may be in the minority, but i am intrigued by how different this nogitsune is, and why it choose allison out of everyone. and to ultimately see what crystal does with it. she is such a talented actress, that i am super intrigued to see void allison and scott, lydia’s and papa argent’s reactions to having to fight, yet again, somebody that they love. but i get why so many don’t like the idea, because it is a slippery slope. and it could either turn out absolutely amazing or the worst idea ever. - seeing my favourite characters again: scott, lydia, allison, papa argent/stilinski, mama mccall, peter, derek, etc. - the scenes with allison + the core group: her interactions with lydia, scott and especially her dad. no matter if you dislike/hate the idea of void allison/the nogitsune, i think the one thing we can agree on is the scenes between her and scott, lydia and her dad are going to be some of the best ones in the movie.

also, one important question i have:

- where’s isaac?. will we see him. why have i seen nothing about whether or not he’s in the movie???: my baby has been in france (i think that’s where he is) for a long time. is he okay? is he safe?. i need to know where issac is, what he’s been up to all these years, and i need to see him again, plus i would love to see issac’s reaction to allison being “back”. and to see him also help scott through it. while also getting some issac/papa argent and isaac/derek scenes. the bottom line is, it’s been enough time, bring isaac back!

Here’s the thing: I know the Teen Wolf movie has been stressful for a lot of people, but I’m actually pretty filled with hope that the Stydia story was hopeful (for a couple days, I was lowkey convinced they were either gonna kill off Lydia or try to set her up with someone else). Like call me delusional but with the way their story was told in the movie I don’t see there being an ending where they’re not together. Like if that’s the last thing we ever see from Teen Wolf, I really think that’s something we could logically conclude. In fact I wonder if they meant to leave that storyline for a potential second movie that I don’t wanna see so that they could try again to bring Dylan back or to just indicate that they were back together

I fully agree with you, frankly. I think this was actually fine for us. Lydia clearly still loves Stiles, she isn’t with anyone else, as much as I hate Jackson he’s clearly pushing the two of them together, and frankly as long as they still love each other, I count that as a win. Like you, I thought it was going to be WAY worse for us.

Also, I was thinking about how this may have come off in the drafts where Stiles was an active character (because they wrote him out last minute) and I think it would’ve been so fun (if not unrealistic, because let’s face it they’re in an adult relationship) if he didn’t know why she broke up with him and he found out when she told Harris that story. Can you imagine the look on his face? Oh my god, it’s too good to even think about.

Alright, my thoughts on the Teen Wolf movie after a few hours and one watch.

The non-spoiler version is: that's the show I know and love with all its weird plots that make vague sense, way too many characters for the time they have, Scott whump (beloved), and complete inability to remember their own lore.

I had fun. If you're a fan of the show and like more than one or two characters, then you'll have a nice time. Is it great? That's a strong word. I do have some issues with things that happened.

Spoilery thoughts are behind the cut:

I am gonna start with the positive because tbh the negativity is grating on me.

Scott!!! And Pupppy!! Scot saves a puppy and a little girl and he has a shelter where Deaton has a vet practice and I can't evennnnn.

I love Lydia so much. And then the scydia of it all? Like that moment at Oakhurst is more than we got about them bonding over losing Allison in the entire series and that scene has my entire heart.

Jackson is the perfect little whiny bitch and I love him for it.

Deaton!!! OMG! HIm saving Chris got toooo mee. And the Deaton and Scott of it all? Ahhh.

The scallison of it just. My heart melted when he stabbed himself. And the fate conversation and the callback to Motel California and I think they were trying in a v teen wolf way to explore scott's depression and sucidal tendencies and i really want more. i may have to write a thing negl. i am high key obsessed with that. and then when he tells the nogitsune he isn't ready to die?

and just again. my scallison heart was so full of feelings

lydia screaming allison's name? and her get memories back????? ahhh! ahhh!!! ahhhh!!!

as an angst gremlin, i loved the way stydia played out.

i ended up really liking eli. he's just a little kid and a loner it seems like and i really want to write something where he loves the jeep so much because it belonged to his hero: scott

the scerek of the ending. OMG. I loved that. Derek did the self sacrifice. babbbby.

oh speaking of: Scott using his alpha roar to force Eli to HEAL is just sooo 🥺

The chris/melissa/peter polyship of it gave me fun feelings. im into it. bourne, bohen and ponzio understood that assignment

I loved that Mason was there! I love him. But I really wanted a lot more. And I'm pretty mad that we got no Liam and Mason hug. Unfair. To me.

We are clearly diving into some of my problems now I love Malia. I love Parrish. I am not sold on them together even if I really enjoyed their scenes. esp the "pep talk"

I wish I'd gotten more scalia closure, but their awkward scene was fun in its way

I'm not even a Liam fan and I'm pretty mad about how little he gets to do. Like. Why bring him back if he doesn't even get to exist hardly?

I am beyond irritated that they introduced Hikari and then gave her... nothing. No personality. No anything. Esp because Workman is talented! Let her do *something*! I am sad there wasn't at least one sciles moment. That's the fix it fic *I* need. I need sciles content so hard now. I will, I am sure, have a lot more thoughts after I rewatch. But I enjoyed myself and will again.

Ok so I officially finished the teen wolf movie, and It wasn’t all bad… I mean… it was mostly bad. I was so so excited to see Liam again, and to meet Hikari. But it was such a let down. I don’t even know where to begin. What we did see from Hikari was pretty awesome, and I thought her and Liam owning a cute lil ramen place together was actually so wholesome. It all went downhill from that opening.

It was really really amazing to see Allison again honestly. Crystal just brings a certain energy to the screen that I haven’t seen anyone in that cast bring. It felt so good to have Allison back. The only time I cried during that movie was when she was remembering her past.

I do have to say, it doesn’t feel like the teen wolf universe, which was one of the biggest problems for me. These characters don’t feel like they have grown and developed. They feel like they r stuck in bardo (lmfao)

And don’t EVEN GET ME STARTED ON STYDIA AND DEREK. FUCK NO.

I agree Dylan hasn't made a bad movie! I'd say my favorite is The First Time, because it's the first movie of his that I saw. Also i was heartbroken he didn't come back for the tw movie lmao. Oooh what movie was that? I love lifetime movies and a good villain, something tells me she'd play a great villain. She has the range.

Oooh a vacation! Nice!! I hope you have fun doing nothing for a bit. I'm a big snacker too and that's a great snack list!

disney movies: i prefer more of the classic ones mostly. i’ve seen aristocats and 101 dalmations (animated) way too many times to count. other notable favorites are: monsters inc/sleeping beauty/toy story (the second is my favorite)/fantasia (i know i’m weird lol) /lilo & stitch/finding nemo/nbc/tarzan…thats all i can think of off the top my head lol

The child is a trap to make us go back. You all are aware of it, right?

Absolutely no hate to the actor, nor to anyone involved on the movie but let's not be blind about the fact that they are using us for business.

They pushed Sterek Fandom away. Defenders of ship like Stydia and part of the teen wolf Fandom treated us like hell because we were the "weird ones" or the "bizarre and twisted" ones. But now that they want their movie to do well they bring a character that has existed in the Sterek fanfics for years! Come on!

And before you even dare to say that it's bulshit, explain me why they had to dress him like Stiles, use his jeep, have kind of a resembles but make him be a Hale?

They did the same with the last season because they knew the views will be low. They put them in the last seconds of trailer, making false expectations that they will be a big part of the big finale, teased us with pictures of them together on set, just to make them appear on the last episode and have no more than ten lines together, they even cut out the scene where Derek goes to Stiles and mess up with him as a goodbye (Tyler H has told us that he tried to make that scene every single take they had and yet it was cut out by editors).

I've read a lot of comments and post that claim they have finally "give us something". But no, they have not. they are making sure that you go a watch a movie that will not represent any other than their beliefs and their point of view of Teen wolf.

I will literally take any lizzie ship over mizzie and it’s so serious. I used to say I wouldn’t be mad if they ended up together though I don’t ship but now? I’ll find the writers myself. The moment mg opened his mouth to say he had feelings for lizzie I was over it before it began cause I could see the stydia (it’s actually worse) a mile away and just- no 

Mg should’ve been up off that floor since that bet with Penelope. Lizzie is my absolute best girl but mg just deserves better. And so does Lizzie. she knew him for years and still didn’t like him like that and that’s OK! I did nawt buy it when in s3 they said the reason she never gave him a chance was cause he was too good for her. Pretty sure she used roll her eyes and say ew in his face like- she also knew of his feelings for her and still used him as a distraction from how horny she was over sebastian, which she did not hold back from telling mg

So mg finally grows on lizzie (?)  he gets with Alyssa, and this was like after him and lizzie spent a whole episode joint at the hip? Lizzie gets a little jealous, lets it go. Mg gets cheated on. Mg gains a little self respect and starts setting boundaries. Just remembered near the end of s2 lizzie was like “The way I treat you isn’t ok” and Mg was like “no it’s great keep using me I love it” have some shame?? lmaoo. Anyways. boundaries being set, at that point I thought I could actually start shipping this. 

They went and messed it up. Not mad at lizzie for desiccating the guy, josie is her blindspot etc etc. It’s the scenes before that, that show how painfully one sided their relationship still is even though lizzie returns his feelings. When lizzie wanted to stick by him and go with his plan then ranted to alaric about how she basically felt like she owed it to him because it’s what he always does for her, would’ve preferred if she did it simply because she felt it was right or wanted to. When he said lizzie is his person yet I could never imagine lizzie saying that to him. Then apart from the finch episode that’s basically the end of their interactions for s3 I could be wrong idk. 

Early s4 which is technically still s3, they bring in ethan (the fact that lizzie spending all their time praising hope led to him asking lizzie out is still so wild to me). Mg is jealous, thinks he missed his window. Lizzie saves mg which leads to an “i still like you” kinda thing, they drink beer, that’s it. After that it’s just a whole bunch of mg thinking of Lizzie when she doesn’t think of him at all, the boy made a whole death pact. Now mg just told her he loves her, which is nawt news literally common knowledge, and I’m gonna struggle to believe she loves him back if they make her say it cause she has never matched his energy for her, like the one time she tried she ended up having to go back on it. 

Mizzie is 90% mg’s world revolving around lizzie and 10% lizzie feeling obligated with a little feelings attached. I can’t even tell you why she likes him. Legacies please enough
