- Milky Way Marsh- I finally received the new Nikon 20mm 1.8s lens and this thing is sharp corner to corner even wide open at 1.8! I had a chance to test it out on a short road trip to North Carolina and Virginia which didn't go as planned. I really wanted to car camp the Outer Banks, however that was off limits to non-locals so I had to figure out a backup plan. After checking a dark skies map for light pollution in the area I found a Mackay Wildlife Refuge. I could only find 1 MW photo online of the location so I was nervous about compositions there, but excited to explore a new place that hasn't been saturated with night photographers. After driving around the area I came across this hidden gem! Thanks to @foolography for the remote trigger used in this shot (timelapse coming soon).
