Sapete quanto io ami la mia Città. Lucca grazie ad amministrazioni passate che hanno messo il Centro Storico come cuore e anima pulsante della città è stata conosciuta nel mondo, rendendola viva di musica, arte e cultura, purtroppo negli ultimi anni tutto è fermo e niente di nuovo è stato fatto anzi, l'attuale amministrazione che è candidata anche alle prossime elezioni, copiando il modello Firenze vuole decentrare la musica, gli eventi e la cultura in periferia (Vedi Comics a Sorbano, Arena della Musica sul fiume e il divieto di musica nei locali del Centro Storico). Ma per fortuna Lucca vive di bellezza propria, non ha bisogno di nessuno, è indipendente e unica, la più orgogliosa di tutte le città Toscane, chiusa a chi la offende aperta a chi la ama, lo dice la Storia, e che Storia. Questi anni di amministrazioni sbagliate non l'hanno scalfita, le ha rigettate fuori dalle sue porte, oltre gli spalti delle Mura, al mittente, Firenze. Lucca nonostante tutto è rimasta e sarà sempre il salotto più bello ed elegante di questa Regione, chiunque sia sulla Torre Guinigi, e noi Lucchesi lo sappiamo, il mondo lo sa. Adesso però dimostriamolo che amiamo il suo orgoglio, la sua unicità, la sua storica indipendenza, votando chi in questi cinque anni l'ha difesa da chi ha provato e sta provando a farla diventare una costola di Firenze come le altre città Toscane, NOI SIAMO LUCCA toscani sarete voi. Lucca I've been working on the pics from our first stop after we left Florence, back in the spring. The tiny medieval walled town of Lucca in Tuscany. We stayed in Lucca for a couple of days and took days trips out to the countryside, with vineyards and castles, while there. However, in the early mornings and evenings, we wandered the city walls, the squares, and the narrow streets of the town before breakfast, and after dinner. As you can imagine I took a LOT of photos so here is the first batch from the town itself.
