one night when you're both laying in bed facing each other you ask your boyfriend his thoughts on marriage. "kento," you whisper. he hums in return. "what do you think about the idea of marriage?" he brushes away the hair on your check and puts it behind your ear. "i think as long as we both know where we stand in each other's life, it doesn't matter. it's just a label after all."

your eyebrows furrow slightly and your lips turn into a pout, but you mask it quickly. "what about you?" he asked. you didn't wanna push him away with the thoughts of the wedding that clouded your mind, so you convinced yourself it was okay, you didn't need a wedding as long as he was by your side. he saw that little pout and it tugged at his heart. he decided then if that's what you wanted then that what's you'll get.

after months of searching for the perfect ring and unable to find one he decides on getting a custom built for you. he spends his nights overlooking the process of ring he requested for you. if he was doing this, he was going all out.

on your anniversary, he wakes you up with kisses all over your face. "happy anniversary," he cheers in your ear and you beam in response. that night after you both have dinner he takes you on a drive. the roof of the car down the wind blowing through your hair. he stops the car on the side and pulls out a blindfold "please?" he asks you. "okay," you laugh in surprise.

he helps you out of the car once you reach your location "going to take off your heels," he murmurs as he bends down to remove them . he grabs your hand and guides you. you feel the soft sand beneath you feet and hear the faint sound of waves. "beach?" you question. "yeah,” he replies a little nervously. you squeeze his hand in hopes to calm him down.

he drops your hand moving behind you take off your blindfold, "keep your eyes closed." you can hear the waves clearly now. like they're behind you. "open them," he commands. your eyes blink open slowly. there are white petals laid in front of you creating a path to a faux gazebo illuminated by string lights. mattress and pillows laid out.

you're beaming as you finally turn around to look at him. he's on his knees. a ring box in his hand. the words "marry me?" written in the sand next to him. your jaw drops "what's-" you're about to say, but he cuts you off. "it was supposed to say will you marry me but the waves erased it, so now you gotta say yes," he jokes.

your eyes fill with tears as you move closer to where he is "oh kento," you cry. "i know i said it's just labels when you asked me before. but it's a label i wanna share with you. i want you to be my wife and i wanna be your husband, if you'll have me darling."

“i’m getting married,” you screamed to the sea, the waves, the fishes, the starry sky with a full moon, and the world as he spun you around in his arms. you grab his face and kiss him hard enough to have his knees buckle. on his lap, you continue kissing him as the waves come closer.

he carries you over to the mattress and lays your head on the pillow “my beautiful fiancé, my almost wife” he murmurs sweetly. you giggle pulling him in for another kiss. “my pretty fiancé, my almost husband” you whisper against his lips. you continue kissing but it's a lost cause because both of you are unable to contain your happiness.

I think I mentioned it before but I usually prefer darker/more girl crush type of concepts but I also really don't mind lighter ones at all. In fact they're so fun to do ! (and we also need to have those summer bops !) So it's truly just a matter of what mood am I in I suppose ?

There are so many artists I look up to it's not even funny. Everyone is talented in their own ways but the ones who were the biggest inspiration for me as a trainee (and still are !) were TVXQ, Taemin, Dreamcatcher, SF9. The Boyz, EXO, SNSD, and just so many more I am always a nervous wreck at music shows 😂

When it comes to artists that aren't in the Kpop industry, it would be mostly from the older generation ? My parents listened to those older songs a lot when I was a child 😂 Phil Collins is definitely one of my favorite artists. He's someone I truly admire as a singer and musician. There's also a great band called Against The Current whom I really love I got to see them twice during their European tours and they're so amazing ! 🥰😍

hi!!! thank you so much <3 to be honest, i've only been giffing for less than a year and a lot of the process was self-taught and just learning through experience as i played with photoshop and vapoursynth to get results i liked! i toy around with settings from set to set so i don't really have a set process that i use i'm afraid, but!! i like pushing tumblr and usually upload gifs that are close to 10mb for the max quality i can achieve and i also export from photoshop with adaptive diffusion settings unless i have no other choice ^^

What’s your opinion on kqdobetter that people are using on twitter atm

i don't know why you're asking me of all people but yeah i think kq is severely lacking in many many aspects as much as they treat ateez well, they fail in many other departments and ateez suffers bc of it. poor promotion, overwhelming schedules, absurd amounts of flying from country to country in very short periods of time as well as basically doing 2 world tours in 1 year. kq has gotta stop using ateez as a guinea pig cash cow group and learn how to manage them better for the sake of the boys and their other artists like if they can't learn how to take care of ateez from a managerial standpoint then every artist under their label is going to suffer bc of their piss poor business management 🤷‍♀️

i also think that they severely underutilize several members and the concerns that are constantly brought up time after time about yeosang and yunho especially are valid and it's insane for a group that is going on 5 years to have members who aren't getting opportunities to show the skills they've been working on since they were trainees. the fact that we only get to hear yeosang and seonghwa's true vocal ranges when they're doing covers is bizarre and kq are actively limiting both hongjoong and mingi as it relates to producing is bizarre as well. so yeah kq really does need to get their head out of their ass and do better as a business and i hope they do see the critiques as coming from a place of concern and care for ateez's potential

eden himself told this story too so that's kind of telling imo but essentially, hongjoong brought him a song he had been working on and eden decided that a) he didn't wanna teach hongjoong and b) he wanted to make hongjoong quit music instead of trying to teach him. so eden gave hj a list of 200 music terms and told him to memorize them all by the next day and bc he thought hj wouldn't eden was gonna tell hj that he couldn’t do music bc of it. and when hj submitted his mixtape to apply to be part of the company they threw it out without listening to it at first.

Would you please be able to link the video essay on mia that you listened to? I’d like to see for myself what kind of content it is as I’ve all i’ve seen is the anime being described as dystopian with some gore/shocking moments. I’m leaning towards the side of some of the idols being unaware of the source material and possibly only watching it because it was such a highly rated show but watching that video essay may put things more into perspective for me. Yes absolutely! There's definitely a lot of nuance to the conversation in trying to figure out what is true of some things and untrue of others, so I found this video really helpful in understanding more beyond just reading about it ^

I personally don't really know how to feel abt this, bc I also consume a ton of animal animanga content, do enjoy some of the more gorey series, but I wasn't aware that such an acclaimed title was in fact questionable to this extent. I do think that it's probably safe to say that their opinions are based on the r15 version since it was even televised and seems to be deemed by the general public as the only version. I wouldn't be surprised if they watched it bc it is popular and didn't dive deeper into it, but then its a rather unfortune case of ignorance. Just to be clear, I'm not trying to defend or go easy on them just bc I like most of those idols; it's just that I think there are more aspects to consider rather than throwing around such serious accusations (which Im not saying youre doing, its abiut naming them p*dos). Also, think it would be nice if you included at least the abbreviation of the anime title in the bullet point list post bc at first I was really confused. Thanks for the research!

thank you for the further context about woozi, i am not really at all deep into the svt fandom or anything so i didn't know where all to look to find information on it! i do think people are bringing things up for the wrong reasons, and there was a lot of misinformation spread perhaps done intentionally i truly don't know, and truly there is a limit to what we know about the censored version of the show in sk. if it was broadcast on tv, i would like to believe that it could not be broadcast with any sort of gross or harmful undertones to it, but i also just don't know to that extent.

what i personally think is important now and moving forward is that people become aware of what is questionable and wrong about the series both in anime and manga. the argument of "well he didn't recommend it really!" is getting a bit tired because that isn't the core of the issue and not what the focus should be. anime fans and manga fans are already shitting bricks over this saying it's ridiculous that kpop stans find the content of the show and manga concerning, which can't be helped and their opinions likely won't ever be changed if they're defending it so staunchly. in the case of ignorance, we can only hope that talking about concerns will be heard and understood. i added the title and abbreviation of the anime title in the tags of the original bullet point list, since so many versions of it have been reblogged and since i reblogged it to add onto it, any changes made to the post won't show in those reblogged versions ><

another thing to note is that soobin did not recommend it, and the word he used was mistranslated as 'provocative' while the closest to an actual translation would be 'extremely disturbing'. interpret that as one will. not saying that to support him since i personally thought that the gore itself was too much and to have child characters subject to it... so speaking about it on top of what's going on in the world right now? not very emotionally intelligent. but it is helpful to take everything into consideration, even though it still doesn't look good for him.

i'm glad to get clarification on the translation of the provocative bit, i was very disturbed when i saw the things stating that he used the word provocative. i'm in the same boat as you, the gore and the fact that child characters are involved has always been my personal hard limit keeping me from engaging with the show, and now learning about the source material i really want to avoid it bc i think that's just such murky territory and i do not trust the anime creators to ignore those aspects fully and completely. it's hard to say whether in my personal opinion i think an apology will do anything but i do hope he becomes a bit more aware of how impactful his words and recommendations are on his fans regardless of whether he's telling people not to watch it, if he knows how sensitive it is he should not be subjecting other people to the knowledge of it even, nor should he himself be consuming it

I honestly don’t believe Mingi is a bad person, but I don’t understand how anyone could recommend something with themes like that (if that’s even what he was doing in the clip).

I had to read a book called the end of alice for a college class and I seriously debated failing the class so I wouldn’t have to continue reading it, it was that bad. I would never ever recommend it to anyone, even if it is a piece of writing that doesn’t glorifying pedo shit. It was too much and it made me physically sick.

I’m having a hard time rn bc atz is the main thing keeping me going. I’m so for ot8 and I felt safe with them as my ult group of three years, but now I’m just so hurt and sick I’m not sure what to think. please don't apologize :( there's been such a whirlwind of emotions and information and reactions, and one of the downsides of these situations is the mental effect it has on people and it makes it hard to try to find a way to reason with and process everything. it's made even more difficult because it's impossible to know the full context, it's impossible to know why the show was mentioned by him in particular, what his opinion was, whether he consumed the entirety of the season 1 of the show, or anything like that - and having so many unknowns only serves to make anxieties steeper

there have been so so many instances in which i have stopped reading a webtoon or a manga or stopped watching a movie/anime immediately because of something unwarned and undisclosed suddenly popping up. so much of these sorts of media nowadays are built on controversial shock-pieces to make people talk about it or to romanticize a horrible relationship. im shocked that you were made to read a book like that for a college course tho that is so beyond disgusting and i'm so sorry that you had to deal with that for a fucking class

your feelings are totally valid tho, these people and groups are oftentimes a form of escapism for us to try to hide away from reality and the bad things happening around us, so when those bad things suddenly invade those spaces, it can be really jarring. and it's hard to get back to that feeling of safety again after it's been rocked even just a little bit, but please do take some time away from things and for yourself or even just offline for a little bit to focus on yourself more than anything ❤️ i'm doing well myself, in a similar state of reeling i appreciate you very much ❤️
